She looked to the side for a moment, she was itching to smoke a cigarette but wasn't about to taint their conversation with one when she knew Jun didn't like it. No harm in waiting until they were done talking. ''I didn't tell you everything about my quirk either, it's just not that deep in the end.'' And some of it wasn't applicable. Like what good would it do to say she could hold her breath for longer when they were fighting in a mountain zone?

''Why not? That's what quirk society is all about. People are hated, discriminated against, or praised for things that are entirely out of their control. On top of that I haven't exactly been treating you like a friend or anything like that. Not because I dislike you, I treat everyone equally unless they're a piece of shit.'' She wasn't good at receiving criticism, or even constructive feedback, but she had sort of agreed to it so why not? ''Yeah, shoot.'' Thankfully Jun wasn't a harsh teacher, and what she said about her having trouble fighting opponents at range was something she was already kind of aware of.

When she brought up the touch thing, all Yoko could do was hear her out before saying her piece. Her display today had been weak, but she had no regrets about her choice to stay back. ''Senpai, I know you're trying to look out for me and help, and I know villains won't give you any chances out in the field.'' The rain poured against the umbrella as she paused, finding the words she needed to say to convey what she wanted to. ''I may not be serious about becoming a hero, and I may be a piece of shit with a monster quirk, but I'll never become a villain. Not even to spite my shithead dad. You shared something that you don't like with me, so I won't make that a problem for you. That's a boundary I'm not crossing, not unless you turned out to be a terrible person.'' She bent down to pick up her phone and put it away, then her pack of cigarettes. ''So far you've given me no reason to think that you are. A nerd, sure, but you've helped me. So I'll help you.'' Jun wasn't even hating her or calling her names, using the knowledge of her quirk against her. It sort of... Freaked her out. She wasn't sure how to react when her defense mechanism to bullying was to bully back harder. She was expecting ridicule and here Jun was talking like there was going to be a next time? She wasn't even sure if the cloud had formed over her head because she was frustrated with her quirk drawbacks, or needed to cry.

''However, if you insist on there being a next time... I'll consider it. Otherwise until then, I'll work on my ranged shit, get all that sorted out.'' She very deftly managed to snag a cigarette out of the pack with one hand, pinching the cig between her thumb and index finger while she put the pack away. ''If that's fine with you, then we can make another promise.'' But hopefully she would get time to actually train up because holy shit was she sparring against someone powerful.

She nodded, looking down at her rings and thinking. "I mean...even though you haven't exactly been nice to me, you haven't done anything to warrant hatred. If anything..." She stopped. She knew little to nothing about Yoko apart from she was related to Gorgon, and she smoked, and she was constantly warding off a bad mood. Oh, and apparently she didn't want to be part of the hero course. But that was a separate thing. "...Right, it is a little scary, by the way. Your quirk. But it's interesting." She gave a small smile, looking at Yoko. "It's like your some kinda weather yokai, or something. I don't see many transformation quirks, and yours is kinda cool!" She put her hands behind her back, tilting her head a little. "Even if you change to the general studies course, I wouldn't mind us doing more of this. I'm not a good teacher, but I do want to help you find control. That way, maybe, you don't have to carry an umbrella all the time!" Despite her failings, Jun was trying her best to be sincere. Yoko wasn't a bad person, she just needed someone to brighten her life. Why was this uncannily familiar... Yanai Yoko

Nothing to warrant hatred? Did Jun not remember their first meeting in the cafeteria? To hear Jun say that came as a bit of a shock, and for a second she didn't know what to say, or if it was better to just not say anything at all. She wasn't exactly used to being met with kindness and when it rarely happened she was usually quick at shutting it down. She wasn't deserving of any of that. It was much easier to just make people dislike her by saying horrible things. However, after today she didn't want to say horrible things to Jun. It felt wrong somehow, like it would be more punk to just accept that she wasn't hated for once.

''Interesting?'' She almost dropped her cigarette from the shock, was Jun actually secretly crazy or something? Not only didn't she hate her, she thought her quirk was interesting? Jun's smile made her look down at the ground for a moment, unsure of how to process what was being said. How could she best save face? Here she was ready to be completely cold with Jun, but she was offering to teach her more and didn't even have a problem with the shade she was throwing at the hero course either. In the end, she just smirked. She was beat. How could she compete with Jun's fierce skills and honest sincerity? ''Since you think my quirk is cool next time I'll show you what else it can do.'' Just as quickly as she had smirked it was gone again, replaced with her grumpy default. ''I won't change to the general studies.'' Or rather, her family would not allow it even if she wanted to. ''So I'll take you up on that offer.'' She put the cigarette in her mouth, but didn't light it yet. ''I clearly can't help you with your quirk, but if there's anything feel free to text me. This isn't me handing out favors or anything, you helped me, I help you. It's that sorta thing.'' She turned to walk away, but remembered something she had forgotten to say. She stopped, but didn't turn around to face Jun. ''For the record, you not thinking you're a good teacher is bullshit.'' She wanted to say she was a good teacher, but this was as direct as she could be. ''Later, senpai.'' She raised her hand in a casual wave, only lighting her cigarette once she had left the USJ.

''Weather Yokai.'' She looked up at the clouds in the sky and cracked another, tiny smile, though she hesitated in case someone was secretly watching her. ''What a pain. What reason has she got to be acting so nice?'' Then her smile dropped as she kept walking.
