Kenta knew full well this was going to be painful. His quirk was in general weak to fire and heat in general, even in its solid state flames had an easier time withering it away. He could focus on reforming and reinforcing it, pushing more gel into the shield he currently had above them all… but boy he could feel it. He was connected to his gel, so every Firey pelt on it was something he could feel. It wasn’t focused or directional, just a constant pang of hot, searing pain spreading through his body. Reminded him the best of times being slammed down on the wrestling mat…

Through gritted teeth, kneeling on one knee he endured, defending himself from the fiery rain while the other two girls tried to restrain Heimdall. Part of him wished he could do more, but it was overruled by the part of his head that was not going to let anyone get hurt, even as he felt his dome start to shatter and melt away more and more…soon most of the civilians cleared out, and the villain started to seemingly slow down his attack, tho he was still rambling like a mad man. Finally, he could feel the attack getting weaker, and the enemy himself seemed to grow…tired. Scared? He sounded almost feeble as he asked for help.

Kenta stood up panting, wobbly as his whole body pulsed with pain, but before he could say anything the villain had one more burst of energy. Rambling about Ragnarök and some guy named Psychopomp or something… another attack is incoming. He tried to move his gel but none was coming out…seconds later he was whisked away and surrounded by Stellar’s energy field, only able to watch as she endured the fire while they remained safe.
A flashback of a different girl being burned alive came to his mind…but this time it seemed he had more luck than brains. They attacked and…and Stellar was standing, hurt, but alive. Kenta breathed heavily as the fire faded, and seemingly the whole fight was over. As the Heroin was restraining him, Kenta moved closer to Heimdall as he asked his question…his face was a mixture of tired, confused, and angry. This guy who almost burnt an island to a crisp was now being all mopey and philosophical? What was it with all the smart-ass villains he encountered…did it make them feel better while they were being scumbags?!

His fist tightened, the temptation to sock the man in the face growing for a second before it unclenched, and he said “Well…idiots like you think its fine to hurt others because they upset or think they're better than everyone…and I’m just dumb enough to get in your way and spoil your fun” a mocking smile on his face. Perhaps he didn’t quite know the men’s motivations…but he also couldn’t imagine anything that would justify his actions.

He was pulled out of the small conformation as he felt someone hugging him. He didn’t resist the hug, but he winced, his whole body tingling in pain as he said “Ahh…Gee, thanks Stellar-san…You were amazing as well…Does that mean I could get a heads up on an internship for my UA classes? And, maybe you could put in a good word for the teachers so they don’t eat me alive…” his goofy nature coming back a bit after the stress of the fight went down…He imagined UA staff might be a bit tired of him getting into fights with villains like this.
After Naomi addressed him, he turned to her with a confused look saying “Erm, no problem, we probably would be done for without your help…but like, I don’t look that old do I? You're calling me sir and I’m pretty sure you could enroll into UA for a late semester if you’d try!” he laughed, not sure if all the stress was making him look old. After a moment he said “I was waiting for friends…but I probably need some rest. I imagine doctors will be coming to treat all the wounded…Wasn’t there one more woman with you? Is she ok?” Kenta said looking around. He remembered this whole thing started with Haimdall chasing some girl…she was sticking around with the gloomy-looking chick, but he couldn’t see her now…hmm”

OOC - Kenta felt something as he deflected the fire, it was Pain!
Lets himself be pulled by Stellar as she shields from the final attack
Restrains himslef from doing more Damage to Haimdall and just taunts him

✧ BOSS BATTLE ✧

It had been a long struggle, longer for Heimdall who had struggled against the influence of Psychonaut, but it all came to an explosive finish, as a real, fiery Ragnarök descended on the coastal town. ''You fool, Stellar... That willingness to sacrifice yourself for others...'' He looked past her at Kenta who had done the same, and even at Naomi who he didn't know was a villain. ''...Will be your undoing.''

No... Wait...

With the last vestiges of his power burned out of his body, Heimdall had been pushed to the brink and in the process, the control over his actions had been lifted. He didn't resist as he was being arrested and restrained, instead he just quietly watched the trio and listened to their answers. ''You.'' He looked at Naomi. ''You protected your enemy from his own attack.'' His voice was hoarse, his eyes tired and sad. He was supposed to be a vigilante, someone who fought for freedom and justice, not murdered people senselessly. He recognized parts of himself in each of the people that had stood up to him today, or rather qualities that he used to possess. For all he knew, his sister could be dead already. ''Fighting to survive... Fighting to save others. Hah.'' He let out a weak cough and lowered his head, looking at the ground shamefully. ''I deserve to be put to death, or worse. Do what you want with me, hero.''

When Kenta looked around for Amy, that woman who had run off, he would suddenly notice a giant tortoise, bigger than a car, which the woman appeared from behind with a nervous smile and wave. ''I-I'm okay! I twisted my ankle trying to run and, and I wasn't sure if you could stop those flames so I activated my quirk.'' She indicated the giant tortoise who let out a low groan. ''I call him Johnson. His shell is durable, but he's as harmless as a house pet.'' She lied through her teeth, although it didn't really matter that she knew how to fight with her power, lots of folks did. ''Here.'' With a quick gesture Johnson shrunk to the size of a normal house pet and rested in her arms. ''See? U-Um, I didn't use my quirk to hurt anyone, I was just scared for my life.'' She looked away nervously. ''I don't know why the guy targeted me either, I was just shopping for snacks for a friend.''

A friend who was a villain, but none of that should matter to these people.

''Oh- thank you for saving me! I'm Amy.'' She smiled and looked at the three, wondering if they were well enough to pass the time with some small talk until the evacuation could really take place.

Leaving the islands had proven impossible, as one of Heimdall's allies, a vigilante named Jörmungandr had been patrolling the seas and sinking any and all ships and helicopters that attempted to come help them. However, eventually, with Heimdall beaten and the rest of the Ragnarockers struggling, peace had returned to the island. It was brief, but peace nonetheless.

The Fall

TL;DR:
- Stellar successfully soaks up most of Heimdall's ultimate attack, Kenta helps shield the others and Naomi helps restrain the boss and shield him from his own attack
- Heimdall is defeated! The control on him has been lifted and he regrets his actions, surrendering to the trio
- Amy comes out of hiding from behind her giant tortoise quirk, revealing that she had twisted her ankle when she tried to run
- Amy introduces herself and talks to the trio while they wait for help to arrive

Aside from a few burns and a sudden need for a new haircut, she was okay, and so were the others! First, she would turn to Kenta and give him a pat on the head. "Of course! Any time you need something, you can contact me." She would adjust her now singed hair, taking out a hair tie from her pocket and putting it into a small ponytail. Kenta reminded her that Amy was still on the island. "Oh, right! I'll go take a look around and make sure she's okay."[break][break] She didn't have to go far for Amy to reveal herself with an impressive quirk to boot. "Oh! That's a wonderful quirk! I'm so glad you're okay!" She would inspect Amy, and when she saw no injuries, she was satisfied. All things considered, this was a big success! Stellar would clap to get everyone's attention. "Okay, everyone! We're heading back to Tokyo; follow me to the ship!"[break][break]

[attr="class","sixShpost"] Naomi felt awkward, now that everything was done and settled with Heimdall, she didn’t quite know what to do with herself. She had come hoping to find research materials she could use to make a quick score. But with what had just happened, the attention on at least this island would be relatively high.Coupled with the very cheery and kind heroine here, the shy eldirtch horror doubted she could escape her gaze long enough to just disappear. .[break][break]

Kenta responded to her, an dNaomi felt instantly embarrassed for saying sir to him. “O-o-oh I w-was just saying that a-as a sign of respect. I w-wasn’t meaning to imply you were old I’m sorry.” She’d say. Though she didn’t quite take the idea of being a potential late in the year addition to UA. Despite what she was able to do today she really didn’t think she had it in her to go through with it, especially financially. But she did appreciate it regardless.[break][break]

The woman they helped earlier, who introduced herself as Amy, came out of hiding. She’d used her quirk to hide after she twisted her ankle running away back at the start of this whole ordeal.Appearntly she had a fairly unique quirk that let her make this large turtle that could also become small, it was cool. “I’m glad you’re okay!” Naomi would say, genuinely happy they were able to save her. It seemed that Stellar wanted to take them all back tot he mainland, and knowing how strong and helpful she was, Naomi knew she couldn’t quite get away from going with. So sucking up the loss for now, she would follow. Though once she found a good opportunity on the mainland, Naomi was going to slink away. asap.

First he was called a geezer, now he as being pet on the hand like a kid in school, truly a whirlwind of emotions. Thou at least all of this was nice and calm compared to the earlier events. It seemed Heimdall was out of steam completely…tho he also seemed more sane now. Well, it would be up to the police and other heroes to figure out his deal.


As the pro heroin ruffled his hair he turned to Naomi with a laugh “I’m just joking around…I guess I might look more serious when there’s literal fire from the sky, I’m normally a lot more chill” smiling towards the eccentric girl. It was a bit strange…for someone who wasn’t at UA, she seemed to have a pretty good handle on her quirk. Maybe some other school…maybe she was bending the rules just a tiny bit. Not that he would raise a fuss about it.

In the end the cavalry came, and slowly but surely he followed the group, his entire body still aching. He never enjoyed the debriefing part of these things…but at least he could come out knowing this time, things turned out pretty well in the end.
