Although she comes across as a weary, tired person she doesn't consider herself to be one. She likes trying new things, be it questionably edible things just to see what they're like to a new show she hasn't seen yet. Even though she gets tired quickly she is an outgoing person that is often out and about around the city in her free time, quick to offer extra assistance to students or anyone else she thinks she can lend a hand to. While she doesn't get riled up easily and makes an effort to understand where someone else is coming from she doesn't take badmouthing of others well regardless of how accurate it is and can't stand being forced to wait around for something - be it long lines or just someone wasting her time. She is very much not a morning person, though, and cannot really function without coffee several times throughout her day. On hot days she swaps to iced coffee and can become extremely grumpy without realizing it in the summer.

On the tall and muscular side, Mar's tail is still the most immediately obvious feature most people notice about her - and in all fairness, it does make up a little under half of her total body mass. She has to go through some effort to keep her tail out of the way, making sure it doesn't get caught on anything or knock anything over, and she often stands a little further away than is considered normal during conversation or off to the side or near walls out of habit. She keeps the front of her bright yellow hair short, but lets the sides grow out and often keeps the back in a pair of thin ponytails. She has resting sleepy face and often looks like she's bored or about to doze off, which is only true when she's exhausted herself and needs a power nap. Her teeth are very sharp and triangular like a sharks, most visible when she's talking or laughing, and is sometimes missing one or two from time to time for various reasons before they get a chance to grow back. Mar has a pair of blue lightning-bolt tattoos on both of her cheeks, starting at the outer edges of her eyes and ending just above her jawline.
She has a pretty broad sense of fashion, wearing all manner of outfits as it suits her, but absolutely zero sense of color coordination due to being color blind. During her work at UAU she alternates between gym clothes, dress shirts and slacks, or her hero uniform as appropriate.
