He won't admit it, but the time-turner sympathizes with people all too easily. Dear Journal
Honestly, I don't know where to start. New journal, new day, I guess. Still where to begin? Well, I was born in Dublin tothe scumbag supreme Kenneth and Ashley O'Rourke. A heroic couple, Balor the Singularity All Seeing & Morgana the Crimson Light. With more opportunities out west, my parents swept up our lives up and made way to New York City. This is when I was still an infant. Things were good at first. Kenneth joined a hero agency, Knights of the Round, that mostly comprised of similar heroes that had moved to the US. Anyway, yeah, things are good until I turn seven. Then dear ol' Kenneth rains death and destruction on lower Manhattan. To this day, I don't know why. Mum made sure I was tended to, then sped out to handle him. She died. This was over a decade ago now, but the wound remains fresh even still. Can't touch the thought without bleeding. Gotta give it to the ol' girl, though; she did damage enough a few remaining heroes managed to apprehend the bastard. He's locked up: haven't seen him since. Good riddance.
Anywho, turns out life isn't all that easy without parents. They tried to throw me in homes, nana wanted me back in Ireland, but I couldn't leave. Not at the time. I wasn't ready to let it all go. No matter how many times I was caught, I got away. Pretty easy with a quirk like mine. Time's a real bitch, ain't it? Travelled with similar groups of happenstance, just trying to survive here and there, but ultimately I wandered the city's many skyscrapers and sewers alone. I survived. It went well enough until I started seeing things in my sleep. Started seeing myself, but not myself. Bigger, stronger, greater. Doing meaningful stuff. Happy with the perfect, pink-haired dragoness. I kept shoving these visions down and away, but they only came back stronger. Then Barty found me. Apparently, nan wasn't tolerating my living among the unknown. I wasn't inbound for Ireland, though. Barty was an old friend of Mum's, and his quirk left him uniquely qualified to keep me in check, so nan figured it best I go back with him to Japan and remain in his care.
I fought like hell, but the giant was far faster than he appeared. It kind of worked out in the end. I was trained, and with those visions in mind, the chance to be something more than the bare minimum, to live a life of meaning and value - I guess the idea rubbed off on me. Landed myself in a hero prep school, and you know what? Things got better. I met a girl. She looked so much like the dragoness in my dreams, just a few years younger. I'm not sure how I made it through hero prep, my grades were not the best, but Sada kept me focused. Helped me to be my best self. I think I maybe helped make her a little tougher in turn. I may not have much to me, but I take care of her the best I can. Maybe I can help her be her best self too? Anyway, before long, we were together! Like together together. One layer melted away after the last in her presence. Eventually, I was even interacting with some of the other kids, like Kenta and a few others. I have to keep my guard up. I know it. Taking all the walls down is dangerous, and there's still the gnawing voice in the back of my head that shouts survival above all else, but I'm trying - and I think maybe(?) things are getting better.
I don't know what's to come, but I start UAU next week. Sada and some of the others made it in too. Maybe it's here I'll prove it, not to the world, but to myself. I can do this. I can be like the version of myself I see so clearly in my dreams. I can be the world's greatest hero.

DESCRIPTION: Chronokinesis is a time manipulation quirk with which Farrin can summon temporal fields that alter the flow of time. Farrin is always in touch with time, but tapping into the true strength of his quirk is marked by his eyes changing from red to that of golden clock dials, as well as a few white wisps flaring around him. Chronokinesis is divided into two domains: Flow and Resonance.
Flow includes Farrin's ability to summon Temporal Fields which alter the flow of time. These fields are nearly translucent, with an emerald hue. Within them, he may alter the speed at which a person or object moves through time. Once a field is set, it and the given effect are locked in place for a predetermined time. Additionally, the effects of these temporal fields remain applicable even after a target passes through them, though the duration of the effect varies once outside the field. The major exception is Farrin's personal field, which is anchored to and moves with him. This domain replaces Farrin's speed attribute.
Resonance is a strictly narrative facet to Farrin's quirk. It's an itch at the back of Time Turner's brain that warns him of incoming danger, which is conveyed via his natural Awareness stat. Sometimes, these warnings are clear. Sometimes they aren't. Occasionally, he can peer into other times or possibilities. Additionally, he occasionally hears a voice not unlike his own, which seems to be whispering to him from across time.
QUIRK DRAWBACKS: Temporal Sifting is the chink in Farrin's temporal armor. Outside of the physical and mental fatigue that comes with using Chronokinesis, Farrin begins to see divergent realities when pushing his powers too far. Every decision ever made by anyone creates a new timeline, and the more he abuses his power, the more of those timelines he sees at once. This mental overload distorts his perception of time and stems from quirk overuse. Farrin also sifts in his sleep, which often bars him from any meaningful rest, hence the constant look of exhaustion.
Secondly, Farrin's eyes are crucial to his ability to summon fields. He can't summon any fields outside his line of sights nor can he summon more than 2 fields simultaneously. Since the greatest concentration of his quirk factor is behind the eyes, damage may reduce the effectiveness of his fields. Oddly, vast and sudden shifts in gravity can dampen his control over the temporal powers, causing the effects of his fields to change unpredictably or otherwise weaken. Having spent years honing his abilities while in Hero Prep, Farrin is pretty well-versed in a variety of combat styles. Additionally, he's added elements of other Irish martial arts including Speachóireacht (kicking techniques) and Coraíocht (wrestling / grapplin). Rumors have it he can fight fairly well even when deprived of some of his senses. He calls his personal fighting style - the Emerald Fist.
When Farrin pushes Chronokinesis beyond its limits, the quirk factor in his eyes floods his body with temporal radiation. Due to the quirk factor's close proximity to his brain, this radiation takes the shape of the mental personification of his power, seeing the emerald powers of time take shape in the form of one wing, half a crown, and two large sigils around his wrists, in addition to several motes of light that surround him.

Supermove Type: Additional Functionality
Supermove Description:
By using his personal field as a conduit, Farrin can force temporal acceleration and deceleration together, expressing an entirely new and incredibly destructive facet to his quirk known as Temporal Erasure. Focused around his fists, this new temporal power exerts radiation that, upon contact, tears the opposition apart in a display of immense power. Farrin typically dubs the final blow delivered with this move "Emerald Smash" in homage to his mother's ultimate move. Mechanically, this move layers A-rank damage over any attacks Farrin delivered with his hands.
Supermove Drawbacks:
Of course, this power comes at a cost. While Farrin's close-range attacks become nearly uncontested in the damage department, he loses the ability to create any temporal fields at range, meaning he is limited to his personal field and the destructive power layered over it. As mentioned, this destructive power is also limited to his hands. And lastly, while Farrin deals extra damage, any damage received is also increased by three tiers due to the strain this power puts on his body.

EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION: Built into the wrist segments of Farrin's gloves lie two short barrel munitions launchers that could not possibly deal all that much damage - on their own. Combined with minute bursts of Temporal Acceleration, however, and you have a recipe for pain. The accelerator cannons utilize small air pressure launchers alongside a small concentrated burst of temporal acceleration to fire a projectile at extreme speeds toward a target. The gloves contain three munitions types. Stun rounds that deliver an intense shock, capable of shorting out electronics and incapacitating most living targets, freezing adhesives useful for immobilizing enemies or cooling heat-based quirks, and incendiaries capable of extremely damaging heat and extra useful against cold quirk. In addition to each rounds' effects, the sheer impact from each round may prove quite devastating. The lack of complex mechanics and firing mechanisms leave the cannons pretty difficult to interfere with via certain quirk-based manipulations.

EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION: Built into the wrist segments of Farrin's gloves lie two short barrel munitions launchers that could not possibly deal all that much damage - on their own. Combined with minute bursts of Temporal Acceleration, however, and you have a recipe for pain. The accelerator cannons utilize small air pressure launchers alongside a small concentrated burst of temporal acceleration to fire a projectile at extreme speeds toward a target. The gloves contain three munitions types. Stun rounds that deliver an intense shock, capable of shorting out electronics and incapacitating most living targets, freezing adhesives useful for immobilizing enemies or cooling heat-based quirks, and incendiaries capable of extremely damaging heat and extra useful against cold quirk. In addition to each rounds' effects, the sheer impact from each round may prove quite devastating. The lack of complex mechanics and firing mechanisms leave the cannons pretty difficult to interfere with via certain quirk-based manipulations.

EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION: The latest iteration of Farrin's hero outfit, created by Ana Borovsky! Taking Kei Hada's previous design and adding more temporal trickery to the mix, Ana has created the strongest version of Farrin's outfit yet. A mix of Farrin's hairs and the integration of nearly undetectable amounts of mercury have added temporal protections to the Time-Turner's hero ourfit. Farrin's attire slows fast-moving outside forces just before impact, lowering the damage done to his suit (just flavor for the outfit being stronger / won't actually slow things mechanically). The suit durable weave deflects most firearms rounds with ease and can resist incredible amounts of elemental punishment in addition to all other sorts of damage. Mechanically, this replaces Farrin's Durability with the rank of his hero outfit! Given the trouble he's run into off campus, Farrin often wears the outfit, albeit without the waist cape, under his clothing.

When Farrin pushes Chronokinesis beyond its limits, the quirk factor in his eyes floods his body with temporal radiation. Due to the quirk factor's close proximity to his brain, this radiation takes the shape of the mental personification of his power, seeing the emerald powers of time take shape in the form of one wing, half a crown, and two large sigils around his wrists, in addition to several motes of light that surround him.

Supermove Type: Additional Functionality
Supermove Description:
By using his personal field as a conduit, Farrin can force temporal acceleration and deceleration together, expressing an entirely new and incredibly destructive facet to his quirk known as Temporal Erasure. Focused around his fists, this new temporal power exerts radiation that, upon contact, tears the opposition apart in a display of immense power. Farrin typically dubs the final blow delivered with this move "Emerald Smash" in homage to his mother's ultimate move. Mechanically, this move layers A-rank damage over any attacks Farrin delivered with his hands.
Supermove Drawbacks:
Of course, this power comes at a cost. While Farrin's close-range attacks become nearly uncontested in the damage department, he loses the ability to create any temporal fields at range, meaning he is limited to his personal field and the destructive power layered over it. As mentioned, this destructive power is also limited to his hands. And lastly, while Farrin deals extra damage, any damage received is also increased by three tiers due to the strain this power puts on his body.
