UA University was amazing! At least the campus was. Momo had yet to make it past the sprawling maze of courtyard and buildings. She had even missed orientation! Now she was trying very, very, hard not to miss her first class. Momo had even procured a map of the school grounds with each of the main buildings and key paths marked. It was a great plan! Unfortunately, Momo was total trash at reading maps.

“Aww, cupcakes,” she cursed. Sort of. Momo turned the map this way and that just in case she had been holding it wrong. She was at several points, in fact. She even squinted as hard as she could at the paper-bound squiggles in case she was missing something because of how bright the early spring sun was overhead. She wasn’t. At least not besides the skill needed to read a map. Who actually had that in the year 2100? Momo, like almost everyone else, had become too reliant on GPS. Unlike most everyone else, Momo also had the misfortune of being an absolute airhead on top of it.

After several minutes of being lost and wandering various wrong directions with her upside down map, something saved Momo from herself. A scream. Momo jumped in surprise and dropped the map. Her head whipped in the direction of the sound. As if to confirm she was looking in the correct direction, there was a second shout. Momo sprinted toward it without a second thought. There had barely been a first beyond the compulsion to help.

There was no tragic scene unfolding when Momo arrived. Of course there wasn’t. UAU was one of the most prestigious Hero focused colleges in the world. It’s not like there would be a lot of competition after only a hundred years of Quirks even being a thing, but still! Prestigious! There wasn’t going to be any funny business taking place there. Probably. Maybe. Anyway! What was happened was a young woman had been eating breakfast before class on a blanket spread out beneath a tree just off one of the main(?) paths. Momo couldn’t verify that since she had accidentally littered and left her map behind. What she could verify was that the woman across from her was screaming because the mixture of fruit and yogurt she had chosen for breakfast had lured out a large stag beetle. Momo gasped.

“You’re so lucky!”

The woman did not look like she agreed.

[Leo Springs]

It was a beautiful day on the expansive UAU campus, students headed towards their classes, some idly chatting with their friends in small groups while others silently walked with their headphones in, well most of them did. The rhythmic sound of feet hitting the ground was all the music Leo needed to hear as he weaved in and out of the groups of students making their way across campus. Luckily for the boxer he didn’t have class till later in the day meaning he had plenty of time or at least he thought he did to go about his workout routine even if he was at the most prestigious hero colleges in Japan that wouldn’t stop the old man from being absolutely pissed if Leo didn’t keep up with his boxing training if he ever found out, not that Leo planned on skipping his workouts anyway.     Leo stopped for a moment taking a sip from his water bottle before pouring the rest of it over his head running his hand through his white streaked blonde hair. He hated hot weather, and even though it was a fairly nice day on campus he was still used to dealing with the cooler temperatures of home. The speedster walked over to a nearby trashcan and tossed the empty bottle away wiping sweat and water from his brow, he wore the UAU gym uniform pants with a simple black t-shirt, red converse adorned his feet and his bomber jacket was tied securely around his waist he would be damned if he was going to wear the entire ugly gym uniform when it was this hot out he hated the sauna suits the old man had made him wear in training and he wasn’t going to wear something even remotely similar if he didn’t have to.     His thoughts of sweat soaked workouts of the past were interrupted by a scream, followed shortly by a second and once again the sound of feet rhythmically hitting the ground filled Leo’s ears this time carrying him in the direction of the screams. With his speed it wasn’t long till he arrived at a tree off one of the many paths on campus with a young woman sitting on a blanket beneath the tree and another standing nearby seemingly only arriving moments before Leo had. “What tha hells with all the screamin?” His mismatched eyes scanned the young woman who had arrived before him before turning his eyes to the one sitting on the blanket answering his own question when he spotted the large stag beetle sitting on the blanket woman’s apparent breakfast. Ignoring the look the woman on the blanket was giving the uniformed young lady Leo walked right over squatting on the blanket gold and blue eyes locked on the beetle giving out a long whistle “Man now aren’t you a big one” TAGS Aimoto Momo NOTES Clothes: Black T-shirt, gym uniform pants, bomber jacket tied around waist, red converse  Abilities Being Used: N/A

“See! This guy gets it!”

Momo squatted down next to the newcomer for a better look at the star of the hour who was ignoring the giants. Or she tried to. She lost her balance and fell back on her butt. That didn't dampen her spirits though.

“Hi! I’m Momo and that’s a stag beetle,” she said by way of introduction in case he didn’t know. The beetle had a lot in common with college students. Or at least one thing — nothing got in the way of it and a free meal. Momo was about to point this out to him as a way of making more conversation, but she had barely parted her lips before she was interrupted.

“Just get rid of it!”

“Get rid of it,” Momo repeated the statement back to the other young woman as a question. Her confusion was obvious, even without the fact that she looked back over her shoulder at her with her face scrunched up in her best thinking expression. Though combined with the fact that she was squatting, it almost looked like she was about to sh-

“Squash it, toss it, set it on fire! I don’t care! Just get rid of it!”

Momo gasped again, though it wasn’t a gasp of joy this time. She was horrified. “Why would you want to hurt it? Isn’t this a Hero school? That means you should help it!” Momo looked away from the woman to the food the beetle was also still eyeing. The woman noticed and scrambled toward it before Momo could take it.

“Don’t you dare try to give my breakfast to that bug!”
