[attr="class","ZenkaiExposition"]Zenkai let out a yawn as the "Villain" in front of him began to scold him for his lackadaisical behavior. It was true though, in a test that gamified heroic exploits, the points you got for saving civilians was certainly way easier to gain than the points for fighting one of the villains. It wasn't that the titan wasn't taking the situation seriously, well... He wasn't but that was besides the point. It's just he was going to spend as little effort as he possibly could in order to pass this exam. when it came time to fight against actual villains, sure, he would put his game face on. But doing so while playing at being a hero was just lame, he'd just pass the test his own way and prove his opponent wrong.

Banquet's arm soon transformed from a tentacle straight into the claw of a crustacean. It was big and bulky and oddly familiar to the golden boi but he couldn't quiet place his finger on why. It didn't take long for Zenkai to figure out where he knew the claw from as he watched Banquet cock back his fist. "Fuck me..." The prospective hero groaned as he tried to grab onto Sada before bashing throw the door just as a large shockwave shot out from the fist, destroying everything in it's path. Great. Just his luck that he had to fight someone who could turn into sea creatures, on a boat, in the middle of a gigantic lake.

Zenkai let out a small sigh as he dusted himself off, It was certainly going to be a pain in the ass constantly avoiding that punch which meant that a straight on fight was out of the picture. Knowing this, the golden boi decided his best course of action was to come at him through the side, which meant he'd have to break a lot more walls. Luckily Sada had given him a bit of a power boost which certainly helped him in this situation.

Thus began a series of large crashes that echoed throughout the ship as Zenkai rammed through wall after wall in an attempt to get closer to his opponent. Once Zenkai felt that he was close to the dude he burst through the wall, launching himself at the man in an attempt to pin him against the floor.

Indeed, this whole exam was a piece of keikaku (translator's note: keikaku means cake...probably). While the other two did the heavy lifting, Sebastian was coasting by on easy street. At least, he was until the ship started shaking. That wasn't a good sign. "Don't panic, everyone! Everything's under control. Quickly now, take that leap of faith, and I promise you'll make it to safety!" Eugh. Each time he encouraged everyone, he threw up a little in his mouth. ...Lone fool? Was this guy riffing on his hero name? That checks out. He should've expected that when he put it down on his hero application. I mean, it was a prime name for shit like that. No ragrets tho. "Ze—" he cut himself off. Now that he thought about it, the path was already set. All the civilians needed to do was follow it, and he'd get the points. Perhaps now was the time to cement himself as the best candidate. In other words, it was time to get points for combat. "The peril? I don't think so, villain!" Vomit. "So long as I'm breathing, I won't let you harm a single one of them!" Easier said than done. He had never actually fought a pro before. Hell, he had never fought anyone before PERIOD. Still, he wasn't scared. None of this shit was real, and he wasn't about to crack under the imaginary pressure. It also helped that he had Sada's gift to make up for his shortcomings. First thing's first: analyze the opposition. "He can make the first move. All I need to do is react accordingly," he reminded himself. The entire ship shuddered and buckled as much of its innards were tore through broken. Banquet was unrelenting in his aim, firing off jab after jab of compressed air which rippled through the space like a bullet. As Zenkai broke his way through the surroundings in an attempt to flank the 'villain', they would make a b-line towards Sada. Her halos scrapped against his hardened shell, chipping off some of the rougher parts of it before he managed to pin her onto a wall between his claw. "Tanaka Sada. You're being pulled from the exam as of this moment. Some kind of family emergency I think." Before she could properly protest or respond, Banquet would grip the would-be heroine in his claw, and tear through an exterior wall, exposing them to the waterfront "You'll be provided a makeup in place of this one. See ya." He'd then launch her out of the ship, into the water, where she'd be recovered and taken out of the zone.

This little interruption would work out massively to Zenkai's favor, as it provided the window for him to burst through one of the walls and use his titanic strength to pin the practice-villain to the floor by way of his larger claw, his body unable to completely maneuver in the position that it was in. "A cheap shot, don't you think. Not very hero like." He said as he struggled against the grapple.

Meanwhile, topside, the newcomer simply looked over Sebastian after his heroic decree, in a sort of faux staring contest. Whether he was winning or not was hard to tell, as the man's head was simply a floating orb of energy. "We shall see about that. How good are your movements, hmm? Points won't come so easy." Suddenly, their head would begin to shift and change, breaking off into five separate, smaller orbs of energy. A low could be heard as they began to spin above when his neck would be, and then rapidly begin to fire off blast of concentrated energy towards the civilians and Sebastian himself.

One or two of the evacuees would be caught in the back by the shot and falling off balance and into the sea below. This set the others into a continually growing panic, while haphazard shots came close to and perhaps did strike the would-be-hero. The commotion that happened below the deck had subsided, though Sebastian could swear he heard a high-pitched scream come out from somewhere off to the side of the ship.

But if all this wasn't enough for the remaining two testees, the ship hit one of its set intervals and began to list as it sunk further into the water, throwing wrenches in both of their plans. For Zenkai, it threw his hold off balance enough that Banquet could force himself out through destroying the flooring beneath the two of them as the section they were in tilted vertically. For Sebastian, his foe's rapid-fire blasts aim grew even more erratic, putting his precious savior points at risk.

[attr="class","ZenkaiExposition"]It was to Zenkais great displeasure that he found absolutely nothing after ripping through half the ship to get at the villain. It seems that in their rush to get at him, the villain had rushed at them. Turning around the titan charged back towards Sada, only to arrive as his new team mate was yeeted off the ship and into the water, damn, that did not bode well for anyone on the ship. They had no way of knowing if Sada would make it back into the fight. She certainly wouldn't be able to get back quick enough to help Zen with his current fight. Instead Zenkai took advantage of Banquets lack of attention and tackled him to the ground.

"You said take it seriously, in a life or death fight, nothing is cheap" While the words themselves had some kind of truth to them, the only reason the golden boi actually did it was it seemed like the easiest way to take out his opponent. This proved to be untrue as Banquet shattered the ground between them, sending the pair tumbling down to the floor below. While unexpected, the floors were far enough apart for the would-be student to regain his barings and land safely on his feet, taking a second to balance himself against the wall as the everything began to slide backwards. The ship was sinking faster now, Zenkai had to end the fight quickly or he'd risk going down with the ship and possibly failing the exam.

Before Banquet could use his claw again Zenkai launched himself at the faux villain charging at him with his fist cocked. This of course was a play, Banquet knew he was lazy and didn't care about the fight too much, it wasn't that much of a leap to think he could fool the man into thinking that they couldn't exactly fight. Right before the two met, Zenkai dropped down and shoved his leg out for a sweep kick. If he was successful he'd try to throw his opponent down the hallway of the ship before running in the opposite direction in attempt to escape, trying to rescue anyone who was still left in the underbelly of the ship.

Sebastian ♣ ♦ ♥ ♠ Sinclaire [attr="class","FaustContent"]Sebastian's lack of heroic instinct was on full display. He was so preoccupied with winning the fight, he lost sight of the true objective: protecting the civilians. He was so worried about getting hit by the newcomer, that he allowed a few civilians to get hit. What's done is done. There's nothing that can be done about that. He'd probably take a penalty on the rescue points, but there was no use crying over it. He just had to protect what he had amassed thus far and focus on fighting the villain to make up the difference. First thing's first: protecting the civilians. He was lucky that his opponent was a long-range fighter. Sebastian had no actual combat experience, so if came to a hand-to-hand fight, he'd most certainly lose. Long range, however? Well, Sebastian was no stranger to using his quirk to bounce shit. He jumped off the springy deck then did a sideways kick while making an air trampoline to send himself zooming in a straight line overhead with his back facing the civilians on the trampoline bridge. As he flew from one to ship to the other, he created an elastic air roof to protect everyone as they crossed. Once he landed on the other ship, he jumped back into the air and rocketed himself in a straight line, aiming to headbutt the guy right in his stomach and hopefully knock both of them into the sea. "You don't learn, do you?" Banquet's shell absorbed the brunt of the damage from the rough drop, make even more precarious from the ship's listing and sinking. With one of them gone and time running thin, the 'villain' had just about settled on the fact that these two were failures. This guy seemed strong, sure. Hell, he was strong. But he didn't seem to have that drive that a heroes needed. To protect the security of civilians, without that, they weren't much better than the likes of vigilantes.

"Seems like the end of the line, junior!" He said as he took a step to meet Zenkai's blow, knowing he'd be able to match or even beat it out in a direct confrontation. However, the stance he took to brace and add power behind his own fist would prove the 'villain's' undoing, his legs taken out from under him with surprising speed and precision. Not a moment's time passed enough for him to get a curse out, before he was hurled through the hallways deeper into the ship's bowels.

Meanwhile, topside, the foe Sebastian faced was quite haphazard in his shots, placing quantity over quality. Though as he realized a lot of his blasts were no longer reaching the civilians, a majority of them began to trail after the pinball hero-wannabe. "Stay still will you, brat!" He said, breaking the haiku-patterned speech he'd been trying to maintain. As Sebastian antics became more annoying, he'd consolidate the orbs once more into a central 'head', and begin what seemed to be a charged attack.

"TAKE TH-GAH!" He'd shout in surprise after the full brunt of a grown man driving his body weight into his torso. The beam would go off as a sort of knee-jerk reaction, its aim following that of the villain's head as he spun through the air and off the side of the ship alongside Sebastian. Much of the remaining portions of the vessel would be torn open and cut apart. But even so, Sebastian could make out what were left of his 'rescues' escaping the failing ocean liner.

Surprisingly, or perhaps not, Zenkai would come across several trapped or injured crew members in the lower decks while making his escape. Whether they'd ended up like this from the initial attack, or the 'excitement' that happened since then didn't really matter in the moment, so much as that he would most likely get some additional credit for carrying out a search and rescue.

"HEY!" As he presumably moved to gather and carry the members out, Zenkai would hear the shout, and if he looked, see a more human looking Banquet standing at the far end of the hall. "Thought I'd be that easy, huh? Sorry to say, this is probably the end of your assessment." His skin became translucent, like that of a blob, with parts within it glowing in an array of colors. Sharp arcs of electricity could also be seen rippling up and down his arms. It wouldn't be hard to guess the combination; a jellyfish, with its paralytic touch, and that of an eel, it's electrical properties upon contact adding insult to injury.

He then rushed him.

[attr="class","ZenkaiExposition"]"C'mon, get up, let's get going, ship is sinking and fish food is attacking" The Sapphire-eyed titan shouted as he lifted up a few of the survivors, pushing them towards the stairs so he could get the rest out of the wreckage. It was nice to see that Sebastian had left him some points, or maybe the conman has just payed attention to the top of the ship. Either way Zenkai had just finished directing the last of the Civilians to the the stairs when he heard a annoying, familiar voice.

"God, you just don't learn do you?" Zenkai grinned as they turned to face Banquet it the hallway, repeating the "villain'" words back to him. "I don't listen to anyone." Dealing with Banquet's new form would be a pain in the ass, and something Zenkai really didn't have time for. For a brief moment they had considered using their quirk to end the fight quickly but that would be giving the University and his grandad what they wanted. Instead Zenkai strolled over to the side of the wall in the hallway and broke open a glass case containing a level.

The second the Monkey King pulled down the level a heavy metal door slammed down from the top of the hallway cutting the would-be hero and the victims off from Banquet's attack. The doors were used in emergency cases to cut off the hallway in case water got into the ship to prevent it from sinking. It was too late to do it's primary job at this point but it could at least keep the villain contained.

With Banquet taken care of, at least for the time being, Zenkai rushed up the stairs and began once again to yeet Civilians off of the ship towards the nearest rescue boat in an attempt to rack up as many points as possible before the test ended.

It sounded like a good idea at the time, but once his head actually made contact, he quickly realized that it was, in fact, not a good idea at all. He was lucky that he was braced for impact, otherwise he would've accidentally bit his tongue off and drowned in his own blood. As he came plummeting down from the sky, he laid out a nice little air trampoline to break his fall and stop him from falling into the water. "Villain! Even if I fall, I know my comrades surely will succeed!" he shouted, laying in his air trampoline bed, fighting back the urge to vomit from having to say such icky, heroic lines. In truth, Sebastian probably could've pushed past this all and kept on going. Why bother doing that though? That was just extra effort at that point. He had done enough, and he figured that with all of his heroic bullshit that he'd easily rank high enough to get into U.A. Laying back and raking in the points for a classic self-sacrifice was just the optimal play. There was nobody who would question him being tired after using his quirk for so long and taking some head trauma. Hell, they didn't know how his quirk made him feel anyway, so he could just play it off as extreme exhaustion. Nap time. "Huh." Banquet simply said as he watched the emergency doors shutter closed. He'd thought the guy would rush in to meet him in the fight, leaving the civilians behind temporarily. But instead, he'd actually put their safety first, or so it appeared. He was almost impressed. Almost. Still this little act of apparent selflessness was enough to convince him that his role in the exam was done. Besides, the timer had clicked down to its final parts, and the ship wouldn't be long for the sea.

The crew that Zenkai rescued thanked him gratefully as they escaped the sinking vessel, though it was likely he wouldn't be paying attention as he'd see the sight of his fellow examinee falling from the air alongside an unknown figure, though going by appearance it was likely they were another villain. Both crashed into the water below them, rising to the surface in the after wave like two corpses freshly tossed overboard.

The cruise liner itself creaked violently and cracked, sending out waves that pushed away the rescue vessels as it began to tilt upwards. And just as it seemed it'd going crashing to the depths below, or the simulated ones at least, it froze in place. In sync with a loud klaxon, a signal that'd be recognized as the formal end of the exam.
