Hellion YOU CAN'T FEEL THE HEAT UNTIL YOU HOLD YOUR HAND OVER THE FLAME YOU HAVE TO CROSS THE LINE JUST TO REMEMBER WHERE IT LAYS If there was one lesson Chiara had retained from her two years at UA University, it was that saving the day was only one aspect of being a Hero. Romancing the public, managing business sponsors, maintaining and updating costumes, all that extra stuff kinda blew over her head at the time. So long as the evil dude was bagged and tagged for the Tokyo PD with no casualties, she had thought such instances to be good enough. Life had its firm disagreements. Stopping the getaway car from a bank robbery and apprehending the thieves was all well and good. Turning a well traveled city intersection into a game of ‘the floor is lava’ was not so good, after the fact. The policeman Chiara had left a report with had politely suggested learning some finesse from other pro heroes. It wasn’t cheap for the city to get rid of dried magma when Hellion couldn’t be damned to clean up after herself, which was more often than not as her track record went. The idea was sound, but what the hell was an ‘idol hero?’ As a foreigner Chiara had never paid much attention to Japan’s idol culture. Hopefully the leader of The Rising Sun Hero Agency & Idol Project could explain more. From the outside, the six floor building was pretty impressive itself, and the young lady subconsciously released a low whistle in amusement. ‘Bet it took a small fortune to get a place this big,’ she thought to herself as she stood in front of the building. She had waited across the street for a few minutes, curious to see who might come and go from its front doors. No one humored her curiosity, though she could see the lights were on at least. Maybe everyone was on their lunch break? Or had she been noticed spying, and this was a weird test of some kind? A scoff of an exhale exited between her lips at the thought, accompanied by a doubting roll of her violet eyes. “C’mon, don’t overthink it; quit dragging your feet and get in there already.” And so the decision was made. Chiara crossed the street, walked up to the front doors, and… hesitated after putting her hands on them. The advertisement she had seen for this place was seeking pro heroes and sidekicks. While she wasn’t a pro yet she dreaded the idea of picking up the latter, and lamer of the two titles. Before she could stall for anymore internal arguments though the woman forced her hands to move. Once the doors were open she stepped inside, not knowing just what to expect next. "Hey-I mean, uhm.. Hello?"

[nospaces] [attr="class","oneword1"] [attr="class","fromyou1"] ChiaraA prospective recruit, or at least someone looking for help, arrives at the agency, but finds it is not all that it is made out to be. just one word from you and Strong Enough to Trust in You

The Rising Sun Hero Agency and Idol Project looks impressive from the outside. It fits into the affluent neighborhood quite well; it looks the part, it doesn't stand out in design or aesthetic, and even the large agency logo over the door doesn't really detract from the curbside appeal. It looks like everything is in order, and it appears to be a very high quality establishment. [break][break] The inside doesn't quite live up to the exterior. It is exceedingly empty. There's nothing there. No furniture, no decorations - barely anything at all. The only thing inside is a young, blonde-haired woman in a tank-top, shorts, and covered in paint standing atop a step-ladder and doing a rather remarkable job of painting an immense Rising Sun logo on the wall over the reception desk. [break][break] Despite wearing a painting apron, it is suspiciously clean, while the rest of her is not, and though that should be surprising, most of the woman's surprise was that someone had actually entered the building. [break][break] She paused and stared at the other woman and then scrambled down the ladder "Hello! Welcome! Uhm, give me just. One. Moment." [break][break] In her haste to get to the floor, Aerian almost lost her footing and stumbled across the ground before she finally caught her balance. "Whew... anyway, what can I do for you?"

Hellion YOU CAN'T FEEL THE HEAT UNTIL YOU HOLD YOUR HAND OVER THE FLAME YOU HAVE TO CROSS THE LINE JUST TO REMEMBER WHERE IT LAYS Immediately upon entering Chiara’s gaze focused on the young blonde busy painting a design on the wall. Truth be told, there wasn’t much else to focus on. At all. The rest of the room was strikingly vacant and empty. If it hadn’t been for the ‘colorful’ painter the redhead might have thought she was in the wrong place. The greeting she received from the other woman was earnest and welcoming, though. The moment the blonde nearly ate the floor in her rush had Chiara wincing slightly in anticipation, but fortunately for the both of them the painted worker caught herself just in time. “Nice save,” she congratulated the other woman, giving her an amused smile. Violet eyes looked up past the blonde, back up to the image she had been painting. There was no mistaking the logo, even if it was incomplete. “Looks like I’m in the right place, so that’s good. I dunno if I’m early or late to the party, but thanks all the same for the warm welcome.” Her gaze turned back to the woman in front of her. “I’m Chiara, and Sorta-Pro Hero, Hellion. This agency was recommended to me by..” Someone who thought she wasn’t up to par with the title of Hero? “..a cop I worked with the other day.” Her stare then drifted away slightly, as if contemplating something. She dismissed the trivial nonsense clouding her thoughts with a shake of her head. Beggars couldn’t be choosers, and she did need help. Again she looked back at the blonde with a conflicted expression. “I think we can help each other out? The Rising Sun needs extra hands, and I could use some pointers, myself. ‘Sidekick’ doesn’t really sound fantastic as a job title, but I’m not doing too hot flying solo either, so… How do I sign up, or get an interview here, or whatever?”

[nospaces] [attr="class","oneword1"] [attr="class","fromyou1"] Chiara Aerian fills Chiara in on the relevant stuff. just one word from you and Strong Enough to Trust in You
[attr="class","itsover"]
"The sorta-pro hero?" Aerian inquired with a wry smirk. "I'm Aerian Verdi, and I'm in charge of this agency, for what it's worth..." [break][break] She didn't point out that there was no one else involved at this point, but it didn't take a genius to figure that out. On the other hand, someone recommended that they check out her agency, so she had that going for her. Aerian had her doubts that a cop actually recommended it, but more likely saw one of the fliers she was handing out the other day and remembered it - which was a good thing, because other people would remember it, too! [break][break] Her smirk broadened at the thought. [break][break] "You're right, though. I could use some employees, and though sidekick might not be the most glamorous title, the job is extremely important. The work we will be doing here, either by myself, or my sidekicks, will be shaping the future of heroes all over," Aerian reached behind her back to undo the ties of the apron holding it in place while she spoke, and then folded it and set it aside. It had clearly been unnecessary. "So, I need to find people who can help set that standard, people who can inspire others to greatness, and in doing so, elevate everyone." [break][break] "Not everyone is cut out for it," Aerian stated solemnly and placed her hands on her hips. "But for those who are, they will find a nice home at the Rising Sun Hero Agency and Idol Project!" ulla [newclass=.itsover b]color:#795a21[/newclass] [newclass=.oneword1]transition:1s;overflow:hidden;height:200px;width:450px;[/newclass] [newclass=.oneword1:hover .fromyou1]transition:1s;margin-top:0px;[/newclass] [newclass=.fromyou1]background-color:#2f2f2f;opacity:.8;font-family:arial;font-size:10px;color:#fff;padding:10px;margin-top:250px;width:150px;transition:1s;[/newclass] [newclass=.fromyou1 a]font-family:courier new;text-transform:uppercase;color:#a366b6;letter-spacing:1px;[/newclass]
