"Hm." Leo hummed, happy to see that the fox was just content following him and not fighting against his pull. "We're being watched, fox." He said nonchalantly as he kept weaving her around. "Followed actually." He would add, glancing up at her. "I am surprised your nose doesn't pick up any scent."
He was a little more on the defensive now, Skald could already see some wisps of darkness forming into small orbs and begin to orbit around the teen. Suppressed quirk or not, he still gave a rat's ass about people considering quirk usage in public a felony. He was probably blowing the thing out of proportion, but his breathing seemed a little more erratic and his steps slightly uneven. The young ex-villain was having a panic attack of sorts, trying his best to remain calm. It was probably the quirk suppressor. Usually he would have no problem with people jumping at him but having his powers gimped left him in a bad mood.
Then it happened when they rounded a corner.
A bombardment of flashes suddenly stunned the young man as reporters jumped at the opportunity to surround the famous kitsune hero the moment the couple rejoined the streets into a main thoroughfare. They started bombarding her with questions and things, also moving their blasted cameras towards Leo who instinctively shrunk down near the hero. As they became more pushy and insistent, especially after someone recognized him and began asking questions you could tell that the young man's old habits would soon take over should Skald not deal with the problem, as Leo seemed ready to use his quirk to literally cut his way away in the crowd of paparazzi.

"I thought all heroes were the pompous types who dreaded having moments where no one is groveling at their feet." Leo mused, walking to Skald's side as she turned around and repeated her invitation for ice cream. She mentioned taking off his shackles, thing that would more than likely be appreciated, but the meaning in between the lines was not lost on the rebellious youth. "Hmpf. I've been replaying that fight in my head for a couple of years now. Pretty sure I could take you right now and give you no small amount of trouble. I don't know if its naivety or overconfidence but take a hint from someone who lived a few years off in the deep end. Kindness like yours will get you killed, fox."
Truly his power had been honed further since that day a few years back. Not only that, but he did know about her and her powers now. He knew how to deal with them. Wouldn't be a stretch to think he hadn't contemplated revenge. Aspire to maybe not only beat her, but even kill her. At first most probably, when the loss and the hatred was still freshly burning in his chest back in solitary confinement. Nowadays he had a new outlook on the kitsune. While he still knew he somewhat hated her for putting him in this situation, she did also grant him a modicum of normalcy. A small bit of freedom, even if most of it was just appereances. Something is better than nothing though, so he was at the very least a little grateful for that.
As they walked, the famous pro-hero would suddenly feel her right hand-paw grabbed by a smaller hand, her arm being tugged lightly. As much as Leo tried to look uncaring and aggressive to others, deep down he really did not like having to deal with people at all. So, the moment they stepped into a more crowded part of town there he was dragging Skald to the less crowded back alleys.

Leonard pouted slightly. That was exactly the reason why he loathed this "rehabilitation program". He didn't need rehab he needed to be left the hell alone instead of having to spend time with his captor. At the very least the hero was a modicum of nice, but still not enough to get the young white haired man to stop staring with seething suspicion in his two ruby red eyes. She did not mention training, funnily enough. She wanted to... see a movie with him? What was on her mind.
As much as she tried to be nice, too much of it was going to set off Leo's suspicion even more. He wasn't used to nice things. Usually when people were nice it was to get something else from him, which is why he jumped lightly on the defensive the moment she showed her fangs, relaxing back to his regular stance the moment he figured out there was no aggression going on. She asked about the suppressors, seeming surprised he still had them. "...to think I got my ass beat by someone so naive." He mumbled, stepping closer so he could be within reach of the hero. He couldn't say no to her being there anyway, so the faster he clocked in the hours the easier it would be for him to rush back to his room.
"Of course I have them. They won't let a villain go around other kids his age without them. Wouldn't want the 'Little Devil' to harm them now." The sheer amount of vitriol he spat out with that sentence could kill in its own right. He was still rather bitter about the whole thing. Nevertheless, there he was squaring the kitsune. Since she did offer things he might as well take the free stuff. "I'm fine with ice cream. No movie. If we need to go somewhere, we can just go walk somewhere not crowded." He told her. At least it was something she could work on to get through to him.

| Leonard was, as expected, on his own little side of nothing a few paces away from the rest of the people. He wasn't thrilled about being there, but he was slightly interested in knowing if he would be fighitng the teachers or other students. He figured that if the latter was true, there would probably be little point in actually trying. Glancing around, he struggeled to see any kid capable of really challenging him.
"So we can't kill but mutilation is fine then." He concluded, looking at the three heroes there. "Either it's an all battle or it isn't. Half hassen measures like those are going to get someone hurt when they are unable to stand the pressure." He added, folding his arms after fixing his tie. He didn't care either way. He would fight the same as he always did, quirk inhibitor or not. If people set against him got a few broken bones afterwards that's on them and the inept would be superhero deciding that kids fighting was a fun thing to do.

Leo heard a shriek in his name and instinctively jumped. Was there trouble? Was he under attack? Wisps of dark flickered around him as he was ready to pull a weapon out of thin air and plunge it into someone's chest. His frown only deepened as he found the source of the call.
The fox.
Of all the people. Was the government up to some sick jokes today? That damn animal beat him up, tazed him to the floor with her damn quirk and then happily dropped him off to the slammer. It was pretty clear that young Leo was not as happy to see the "legendary" pro hero Skald as Skald herself was to see him. He remained on guard as she approached, glaring dagger all the way through. The nerve of that hero. Coming near all happy go lucky like nothing had ever happened.
"What do you want, fox." He replied curtly. "Why are you here?" He would soon add. He kind of knew the why, but he hoped there was some other reason as to her presence. He did not want to see her. He did not want to be near her and he most certainly did not want to have to listen to her whims while doing this whole "rehabilitation training" he was forced into doing. Hell, a couple of years back in solitary he just wanted to straight up kill her for getting him stuck in a small concrete box with a nice collar around his neck to disable his powers. He couldn't beat her then, couldn't beat her now. He had lost his "necklace" but obviously the government wouldn't just let him out without making sure he was still shackled tight. As long as he had those two damn quirk suppressors around his wrists he wouldn't be able to raise much of a fight against her. So at some point he just... didn't care for revenge anymore. He just wanted to stay away from people and clock in the remaining hours until probation was done but nooo. He HAD to have regular meetups with heroes so that he would be reminded of his problems.
Defiantly holding his head up eye to eye, uncaring about the fact that Skald was pretty much towering above him in height, he kept on staring daggers at her. "If you are here to oversee training today, skip the fake smiles and let's get to it."

Light squeaking would herald the arrival of a young man with a messy cut of white hair. Leonard Von Kaiser was on his own again, things pretty much did not really change from his time in the slammer. He was alone there, he was alone now. It looked like only his cell changed. As suspected, he was being isolated the moment rumors of his past started spreading around. Not that he mind much in any case. He fixed his tie and grabbed the first available spot to lounge around on his lonesome, all the while remaining fairly visible. As part of his... "extracurriculary" duties, he needed to have a hero come by and... guess check on his rehabilitation, perhaps help him "integrate" into society. What a joke. He would never be able to integrate in a society that already decided he was a monster. In any case, he wasn't really interested in what some hero had to say. He was just going through the motions, borely nod until he clocked in the required hours and then promtly either ditch the guy or just straight up tell them to f-off and go do something else with his life. So there he was. There he waited, watching as people passed by, some shooting him those looks he knew all too well. Watched as the huge clock ticked and tacked. Man, whoever it was this time sure was late. He was alrady lounging there for five minutes without even realizing. Perhaps they just wouldn't show up. Wouldn't that be an absolute treat? Spare him the hassle. skald |

Leo's feelings are mostly muted when viewed on the outside. Having never been truly given a choice in what he wanted to be has made the teen into a mostly indifferent, almost perpetually bored person despite having an innately curious persona. Out on the field his personality remains cold and distant to most other people as most times he just seems to go through the motions to get things done and go back home. He is incredibly honest and blunt and pretty confrontational, he doesn't back down and is always ready to make his point in any way he sees fit, violence or not. He is somekind of the stereotypical school rebel, at least outwardly. On the inside though, Leo is a rather disillusioned person who more often then not clings to the one or two things he feels he has left when everything else around him crubles. The fact he was the illegitimate son of a known villain only reinforced the negative views and prejudice against him and his quirk. He would always be mostly alone and have difficulties connecting with others as a result. Eventually, he would find a way to escape the orphanage some time after his 15th year of life and find his way into the criminal world in an attept to find his father and be accepted by someone. If the world wanted him a villain, that he would be. In the next two years Leo would bounce around from gang to gang up until he would end up "working" for a group of villains running mostly an illegal betting rings on rigged street fights that most of the time turned into death battles. There, he would learn to fight and survive on his own, touching first hand a world of snakes and backstabbings, gaining self-taught mastery over his powers. Eventually, he would begin being used as more than just a caged fight dog and instead employed in more dirty crime work. However, at the age of 17 would have him captured by pro heroes and consigned to two years of juvenile rehabilitation prison before being given the choice to be released on probation.This was however part of a newly funded villain rehabilitation programn and onyl on the condition that he would be forced into enroll into UA university hero course and live there under almost near constant watch so that he could repay his debt to society by learning to use his powers to help others and use his experience to fight crime instead of causing it. QUIRK DRAWBACKS: Leo's Dark Energy can only exist as long as it's in contact with him, vanishing into nothing when he separated from it. It also weaker against Light based quirks (in the sense that a sufficiently strong light source would cause Leo's dark energy to weaken or vanish) and cannot really extend too far out from his body without losing its effectiveness. Not only that, but it is marginally fueled by Leo's dark emotions and can get out of control if the user's emotional status becomes unstable, not to mention that creating it no matter what it strains him on a physical level and thus can quickly sap him of all his stamina down to fainting into unconsciousness when misused.
