"Ya know, I have a feeling that they don't want to have a healthy conversation on the matter, and then that crowbar is still back at the bank. So let's do our best!" She spoke before getting separated from Windy in the kerfuffle that had started up now with everyone deciding to go to war.

Now Peacekeeper could go toe toe-to-toe with a lot of folks, unfortunately, Josie couldn't. So at the sight of this newcomer, she did the one thing she could do properly.

Run, run like a frightened little boy on the first day of baseball.

That's exactly what she did in this scenario. Heading forward with the attacker on her she got out into an all-out sprint forward. Keep a huge distance between her and them so in other words they couldn't go crazy with their quirk. At least that's what the hope was, for all she knew it might be a long-range one, and then she'd have to swerve left and right while moving like crazy.

For now, keep the distance, and hell if it came down to Windy could nuke um, hopefully not they may not live through that, and that may break some rules on that front. Though considering the insanity of this place who knows about that?

"Okay okay, no pressure at all,"

Josie spoke quickly and cracked her neck, jumping up and down for a second, preparing herself—something common among the students. While she didn't have to hold back here, it wasn't like she could do the whole thing while walking on her hands! Windy may not have been the smartest, but that didn't mean he was a fool on these matters. So she started out simple and made some simple sounds here and there to show she was 'trying' a simple 'hyah' and a 'hup' here and there while traveling.

The slipperiness unforunately gave her away a bit, she was used to running on rooftops and the iciness was something she had been used to for a while now. So anyone watching would see jump, and skate, followed by a quick flip to skating again and then a bigger hop and skating. Josie seemed to be right at home during this portion of the race, though she tried her best to look convincing giving herself aloud words of encouragement.

Unfortunately, it was her turn to hold the thing again, meaning she had to fake that now. The life of a holding-back twenty-four-seven was not for the faint at heart. Still, she had an important job to do! Taking the sphere back and noticing the fog she stared heavily into it and closed her eyes while her body rumbled a bit.

"Hey I think I can see the way across, you're just gonna have to trust me and follow my exact leg movements behind me, okay?"

Oh dear, she did the exact opposite of what she wanted from that interaction.

Thank God Windy was still young; otherwise, she'd be hearing about how precious youth was, especially considering his background. That wasn't rude, was it? She couldn't say for sure, and these thoughts would never be brought out of her head, so Josie decided to quietly chastise herself and keep it moving.

When the race first started out Josie couldn't help but think she'd have to start trying to run as fast as she could until Windy's quirk had taken over. Huh, so this is what the world looked like to speedsters, did that mean people who could super-read it actually took forever to them? Did running from here to New York which only took ten minutes for some of these speedsters actually feel like forever and a day? Maybe this super speed thing wasn't as cracked up as it was made to be by society.

All questions for another day of course.

When they first approached the wall, it didn't look anything crazy to her; she could probably hop up half asleep. Of course, for Josie, it had to be a bit of a challenge. When she first touched it, she lost her footing twice and finally started to head up slowly but surely. She was keeping a time of sorts, but nothing too efficient.

During the middle of her 'climb', the sphere started to do what, well what he said it was going to do.

"Hey we got a beeping beep situation, uh are you ready to take this thing before it decides it doesn't like my grip anymore?"

Josie jumped off her enemy's midsection and made some distance between them. If she were in costume right now the follow-up would be to crush her knees into his neck. Though that would seem a little much in school, she backed up and let him struggle on the floor instead.

Breathing heavily she was on her hands and knees on the ground coughing while small droplets of liquid fell from her mouth. For all intents and purposes, there was no way in hell she was comfortable yet with vomiting up all that gunk. Usually, when she pulled that off it came from her arm looking like a giant ingrown hair dripping in clear oil to scare the living hell out of criminals into going good.

The throwing up? That was still new.

So now here she was on the ground for better or worse looking like she was hacking up a line. Josie barely noticed that Windy had finished his fight and when he came up to her, she held up an arm with a thumbs up while still on the ground.

"I'm only saying that he'd still probably beat ya in a weightlifting competition."

Even on her death bed, she'll have her snark so no different than now.

Thank God Windy could handle Muscle Mcmuscle over there. Josie by no means had a rapid healing factor and didn't feel like getting beat up by two today. While she was able to get to her knee's fella was already on her way towards her when she felt something unfortunate in her stomach. Looking downward, she started to hurl. Though if you took a second look it wasn't breakfast, brunch, or early lunch. If you got the chance to inspect it, it was a clear thick liquid oily mucus, but more importantly sticky. The same sticky Peacekeeper used to tie folks up, now granted it wasn't the same intensity as that one but it was enough to stop someone running at full speed and getting stuck in their struggle.

Josie on the other hand crawled backward while slowly but surely her knuckles and heel of her foot started to have a hair coating both respectively.

If he got out of the coating she could at least throw one good superkick or punch straight toward and send him back into the goop.

"That's your excuse why you're not packing sixteen like that fella over there. I won't say anything," Josie said, not realizing that it was getting harder and harder for the two sides of her system not to blend as the years in Japan kept going on.

Despite the somewhat rude words, nothing could be taken away from Windy. The fact that he was still a student and not the next signed five-year deal pro hero was astounding. Again though maybe that was luck, without him, she likely would've given up on this whole bid and headed back to NY. If that had happened she wouldn't have the new suit thanks to squrriely wherever that fella may be in this big ole country now.

Though enough blanking out right now she needed to focus on the two in front of them. Farrin had already gone to work and didn't expect much of Josie, which made it easier to be 'helpless'. Now all she had to do was focus on keeping her head on a swivel and not immediately react to things, most importantly though she couldn't kick.

Growing up she had only learned two kicks and both JoJo and Peacekeeper were very famous for them. Hell, she almost got exposed at one practice when it was a leg training exercise and someone compared her to some old vigi but they had forgotten the name. (That one stung a little bit.)

A hair ball formed in her hand and she clutched it tightly until she saw an opening in the fight. Pushing her thoughts to the side she watched with great intent followed by watching Windy's back. Sending a fastball flying when one went in for him along with making another and getting ready to launch another one.
