Now the floor was lava, scratch that the floor was ice. Personally, she'd prefer lava between that and ice it seemed like the easier one that at least would have this annoyance of the night gone. Yeah, it was a little mean to wish burning death on these thugs but considering one was 'achooing' at her like a pistol it seemed warranted.
Landing on the ice she still felt at home. Battling on slippery services was whatever, it was fighting on the sticky and glue-like ones that were the problematic situation. She launched herself in the air again while two thugs were slipping and sliding while Oogie Boogie launched another snot line at the woman. Spinning her body in the air a tentacle crawled out the black covering her body and slammed through the ice to the ground.
"Alright getting sick of you now... actually it'd be better to use you."
Jo spoke under her breath to herself, she wasn't used to this thinking only business. Jo was a talker and damn it she was proud. If this guy wanted to shoot snot, by all means, let us shoot away.
A second tendril shot from her thigh and went flying towards Boogie. Unforunately for him, he wasn't quick enough to reload and was wrapped up and reeled back towards Jo like a fish.
Now a true vigilante would've smashed him so hard against that ice there'd be a detailed imprint left for all to enjoy. However, that wasn't the case tonight. Jo was a student of a hero school now, she did things a more 'merciful' way.
This meant she reeled snooty up into the air, covered there mouths so they could only breathe through the nose, and forced him to be her new to take out the remaining thugs that still had to be dealt with.
Ya know, mercy.

It was taking everything in her power to keep her mouth shut and not say a single word or anything. Especially considering her enemies right now are a hodge podge of quirked-up quirkee's it felt insane not being able to say one thing.
Like, come on! The situation was begging for at least one.
Unforunately, she couldn't focus on that because now she had a completely different problem. Three of these thugs were still here and one made their presence known by sending their, ...snot. One of these bastards has really decided to terrorize the night with an acid snot that their shooting from their nose.
It wasn't even like he had a big nose it was normal but he was firing snot that seemed capable of burning cement, so she didn't need to find out what they would do to her if given the chance.
So in other words she had two big guys in her face swinging pipes while another guy was staying back and shooting snot from his nose!
Although this may not be that bad a thing, perhaps if she bided her time and let them think she was in trouble, she could cook something up. For now, she had to keep moving and keep dodging so she didn't end up having boogies on her that would burn through her skin.

Okay so, Windy wasn't attacking her, that was a positive at least. So this gave her at least some time to focus on the little trogs running about and taking advantage of this horrible situation. She had at least five coming towards her and it seemed none of them were the speedster who was focused on the other one.
Good, as far they were concerned she just looked like some crazy woman with a cheap disguise and hippie clothes...
Look it was going to take some time to find someone to make a costume for her, until then she had to deal with it.
The first two that lunged at her seemed the most enthusiastic, their arms morphed from simple flesh to blades that seemed to vibrate or at least pulse either way she wasn't exactly thrilled to find out. It was simple to jump over them, but unfortunately, they followed while the thug behind him waited for her to fall. It became obvious why when the third one had spikes grow out around their body and waited for her to fall into their arms.
Hugs from weird men weren't something that was really on the top of her list today. So surely he'd have no problem hugging the bladey bois over there.
Aiming her her hand downward a mass of black shot from her hand and overtook the man who was only expecting a petite stranger to drop down on him. Instead, the mass of black-looking ichor washed over him and like a whip shot him behind her colliding into the two thugs and sending them all flying into the building.
For now, she could hear the sounds of their groans while focusing on the two ahead of her and at least put them out of commission for the rest of the night.

Jo turned another corner only for two of the people she was carrying began to wake up from their self-induced coma, however lucky for her she found the perfect place to hang them up. A nice thick construction panel. So that way if they opened up that brimstone mouth they'd end up dropping an entire wall being refurbished on their heads and needless to say they'd have way more problems after that.
Hanging them up only took a couple of seconds, unfortunately, there was still plenty to worry about and that included the streets around the woman. That was until she noticed that it looked like someone needed help. Shouldn't be too bad just swoop down and...
"Uh oh."
Now it looked like what was happening was a speedy V speedy battle. She had dealt with speedsters and knew how to take them down. The real problem was who one of the speedsters was, Ole Windy Boi himself seemed to be out and helping people as well. Now luckily considering skin and hair were completely covered she should be good, but this guy knew her voice.
So in other words she had to figure out how to help, but she also needed to stay completely silent during it... or at least figure out how to speak without giving her away her natural voice.
Swinging down to the street and leaving the fire burners to their hang out she landed on the street with a small 'thud'. It seemed the speedster was focused on the other one so this gave her a moment to focus on the ten feet around her, look absolutely like she had no idea what she was doing.
AND THEN...well with luck she wouldn't be rusty.

To say Jo was breaking every rule she had first learned when brought to the academy may be an understatement of the situation. If she were following their rules she'd be surrounded by different soldiers right now passing out soup and blankets while offering smiles to many worried people.
Unfortunately, that didn't sit well with her at the present moment in time. Frankly, it might be impossible for her to stand still, especially in a situation like the one happening right now.
JoJo was using her quirk to create a silk outfit atop her skin underneath her clothes so that she at least had something to keep her anonymity. Flying through the streets, she currently had at least three guys underneath her she had knocked out and were looking for a place to dump them near cops.
Naturally, it looked very bad so while swinging by buildings, she had the word 'Arson' written on her hair so that she didn't look like a sociopath....or well a little less like one. While continuing to swing through looking for some more places she could help out.

The car was getting away. Unfortunately, Jo was wracking her brains for a choice of mask. Something she could use to cover herself up... that's when it hit her.
'Oh right, your quirk!'
JoJo thought in her head and smiled, it would look strange but it was worth a shot. The woman cracked her neck and began to focus, closing her eyes. The growth of her hair covering her bare skin came all at once.
A sleek coating of blue covered her skin while atop her head came a black mask that covered her head. She looked weird, as though she was wearing a body suit underneath her clothes but unfortunately, she had no time to think about the details.
Right now she had to catch up with that car which seemed to be... swerving.
Oh, boi.

To say that was startling would be... well a lie. Though, it sure as hell was a startling experience for the folks around her in that moment. From, 'ohs' to 'oh my' and other exasperated experssions. Apparently something was going on however as quick as everyone had seen the situation start to play out it disappeared.
A loud 'thud' was heard on the opposite of the building and while some of the people were curious most of them either left it alone. Others pulled out their phone and began to dial the local law enforcement to check it out just to be safe.
Now while it was true she was student and she didnt have a single thing close to the words license let alone pre-liminary one...that didnt mean old habits didnt die hard.
One second she was in the crowd, the next she was able to shimmy herself into an alley hide behind a dumpster and jump up to the roof.
....Now she just had to figure out how to do this without exposing herself to the public eye.
She needed a costume on the fly and fast.

The smack of the door didn't hurt, only stunned, usually, she'd slide outta the way or grab the door and send it back. Unfortunately, due to her current situation, neither of those would be the case and instead she fell to her butt for a moment.
"No really, it's fine, I get smacked by hard things all the time."
Phrasing was everything and unfortunately, it wasn't correct in this moment of 'peril' or at least one could call this peril. If one inspected the injury they'd notice it was barely red, it was as if small tiny hair atop her head had popped up for a moment. Only to disappear right after the contact had been made and it was as if it was never even there.
This clearly was a situation, even now being inspected, this was no longer her space this was Kishi's space. It was possible now that maybe Kishi knew who she actually was and this wasn't simply a random moment at the circus. However, instead of turning this place into a battlefield, she had to keep relatively close to the word calm and figure out a way to keep somehow not getting found out.
"I appreciate you looking, a lot, but ya know it isn't needed honest. Well uh, call you something else, I mean sure Id have no problem calling you something else if that's what ya wish. Dont, mean to use a name people wouldn't want. Not that Kishi isn't a good name it is a good name I mean I like Jo and wouldn't wanna be Kishi but Kishi like ya know if someone randomly called me it, it'd be weird but I wouldn't like be offended."

Jo stretched following him sighing a bit while it seemed that there were no second thoughts about the performance of her quirk. It may have absolutely shattered her self-worth at that moment, but at least she could keep her secret. Though he did have a point, in winter time it wasn't the best handicap. Having to weave a small layer of hair between yourself and the vigilante outfit of the month was always quite annoying.
"Ya know maybe I should hit someone up there about some hero gear, would be a bad place to start after all."
Obviously, she couldn't actually hit up anyone that wanted to work for the hero org due to her past, but that didn't mean she couldn't find someone else outside of all of this.
"It's not the best drawback but you'd be surprised how much better moving out of the way of things it makes you. So yea let's head over there!"

Let's be honest here if that did end up being the case, they were likely going to need every single hero and student in this place to fight. They'd still all get beatdown, but hey at least they can say they came out swinging and went down swinging together too. Still, that'd definitely be a gruesome way to go, she always saw herself going by a redhead or blue hair one or the other was probably gonna end up taking her out.
"Hmm you mum was ya hero, my mom is my hero too so we have that in common. I guess you could say I wanted to do what I could to help people. You can only do so much in a soup kitchen or passing out blankets and ill be damned if they ever try to put me in an office wearing a whole bunch of constrictive clothes. All because of some stupid dress code, I'll be real with ya the less clothes I wear with this quirk the better, being in a bunch of clothes is a nightmare!"
She stretched quietly. Having to change the topic after realizing that she was getting a little close to the personal personal stuff. Hey maybe one day she could talk about it, but for now, probably wasn't the best option.

"Well, who knows? In that case, soon enough I'll be able to do a lot more than grow a little hair. Though I do consider myself quite capable in other talents. I suppose that's where this school will likely be helping me out the most."
She chuckled while rubbing the back of her neck. Though pulled quite quickly away flicking 'sweat' off of her hand.
"Villain bots? Well, I guess that makes sense not like you can expect everyone to stand still whyle you hit um with your end all be all moves. Though bot or not kinda feel bad for it, we make um clean, we make um run internet systems twenty-four seven and we also make um fight us to eventually lose. I feel like we're only i dunno ten years away from someone getting into politics to solely say give bots rights."
She thought about it for a second and then an idea hit her head.
"So why are you here anyways like overall reason? Ya girl or boi or in between a hero? Parents? Just found um really interesting and figured it beats sitting at a desk?"

Jo blinked and felt for a moment that the danger of this night wasn't gone yet and instead had simply been passed to another more capable.
Much more capable.
"Pro-proper gratitude? I mean if ya want I can throw five bucks ya way or like get you one of those nicer drinks. I'm not usually a club girl (she lied) so maybe I should get back to my place and outta your hair which looks great by the way."
She was rambling, the pretty ones always made her ramble, but then again there hasn't been a pretty one since New York so this was definitely an unexpected turn of the night.
"Kishi, I like it cute, I mean kinda confusing you said for now. I mean is that your internet name? It's cool if it is I'm sure everyone has a reason for their aliases nowadays. Be it because of job or just privacy ya know, I mean I won't prod you unless you wan... that sounded weird. I meant gosh your eye is red and what did you mean by that whole name thing."
She wasn't even able to process her own thoughts before she got smacked in the face by the door by a group of girls walking into the room.

Jo twitched physically when he asked if it was any strong. She looked down at her knuckles and acted as if the blow to her pride had been pretty hard. Well, truthfully that's because that was possibly the hardest her pride had ever been hit for a long time. Granted she had to remind herself that was the point she wanted that reaction multiple times within less than a second, but inside she was screaming.
"Yea well, ya know one does indeed try. All quirks have a chance to have utility. It's not always about outward appearances and everything has a chance to impress in a different way."
She spoke aloud, yet for a reason or another she kinda hated herself for now and simply quietly followed along to where they were heading next.

"Well at the end of the day, I guess that's the name of the game. No killing, and at the very least try to also not paralyze them from the waist down while also avoiding getting shot yaself or serious burn or freezing and all that wonderful stuff ya hear about in the news."
She rolled her shoulders while bouncing up and down for a second getting ready to walk forward. Until she was stopped in her track by one simple question,
What's yer quirk?
She froze up for an attosecond and after that turned around and smiled. "My quirk is probably the most interesting thing you've ever seen in your life, behold!" After that she slightly grew some hair on the knuckles of her hand, you could barely notice and had to likely squint to see the difference.
"I can grow my hair, though I'm still working at it. Obviously not the most interesting out in the world but ya know I'm proud of it." She smiled at O'rourke proud of her display of her own quirk.
Now granted she didn't lie, but she didn't exactly show even close to the word prowess that she has or her strength of speed and frankly, that was fine. The less the overall knew about her the better, last thing she needed was people connecting puzzle pieces when she wasn't ready yet.

Thank goodness, the clearly other non-local woman did speak English. A sigh of relief came from Jo especially watching the woman swat the hand away from one of her captors of the night. She didn't really expect a knight in thigh-highs but hey the annoyed can't be choosers-
A small squeal came from her mouth while the knight spoke saying they were being followed and to play along until they got away. Granted, fair and that did indeed make sense but at the same time. This stranger's hand was currently resting on her butt. The last person who rested their hand on her maximus had two broken fingers and quill's sticking out of their hand.
So needless to say once they finally got through that bathroom door she sorta hopped into the room. Only to soon feel the entire person's warmth disappear from above her, she didn't wanna admit it but the warmth was nice. A hell of a lot better than having two fella's patting her and asking she feels about exotic cars.
Seriously though the hell was that? Did they have like a fast car outside or something?
The question threw Jo off guard and she had to think about it for a moment. The mention of her being a liar made her twitch internally, there was no way in hell this woman knew about her part. There were maybe four people on earth who knew that fact about her and at least two of them were dead.
Jo looked up before talking only to see her smirking at her from the mirror and she immediately looked down again.
"Well, I took classes once when I was younger. Thanks for that my name is Josephine. Friends call me Jo, she/her. What do you go by tall blonde and confident?"
