"Masochist,"

Peacekeeper hopped backward three feet and dashed to the side closing one eye for a moment. Something inside the woman told her to close both eyes and focus on the energies present. There was no way this man couldn't harness 'the energy' and use it for overall attacks. Unfortunately, she didn't know if he could mask that energy, if he was able to do that and she closed her eyes she'd look absolutely stupid in this test.

Not exactly the goal or what she wanted to get across.

Regardless that didn't matter, her body could feel the energy that he had on this rooftop and all that mattered now was giving him a good smack, or maybe a.... yeah that could work.

Without another thought, she started to move forward with her arms at her side heading straight for the ghoul. JoJo ran on the balls of her feet closing the distance but this was clearly a front.

This wasn't intended to strike it was intended to see how he would react and what would he throw out. It's true that she gave herself one shot, but that didn't mean Ghoul was operating on those rules, and besides she had another positive going for her too.

This test was taking place on a rainy, wet, rooftop, and by god, Jo was about to advantage of that.

"Well, seeing the giant hellfire pillars might as well throw that last thought out the window."

Jo spoke to herself while launching herself over the mall. The battle left a heavily filled civilian area which was good, though it was likely still in an area populated by civilians. Odds are police were on the way and others were likely already there meaning that not only was 'Peacekeeper" on crunch time.

They also had to make sure they didn't go too hard and stick anyone in the hospital for a couple of months. Regardless of the situation she already blew up a block and helped in the destruction of a business area thanks to some stupid robit.

So ya know, no pressure.

Launching herself across the last two blocks, she flew through the air for a second the woman looked like she was flying. Unfortunately, JoJo was falling with grace and poise and of course sty-

And it's windy.

Windy was here, because of course windy was here, why wouldn't he be? Jo's accidentally ran into the Windy more than her girlfriend, not her girlfriend, it was complicated, hot, and complicated. That's not the point though right now she needed to focus because at first glance it seemed Windy had bitten off a little more than he could chew... or maybe they cheated it was likely the latter.

Either way, he was outnumbered and in a bind so now it was her time to shine, or at least get him outta there. Holding both her arms up towards the bad guys or the villains of the day. Two softball-sized orbs morphed and she sent them flying downward toward them. Both orbs sounded like bullets with the force she threw them with and would hopefully cause them to scatter or at the very least move so Windy could do something. After that she aimed one of her hands at the one who seemed to have Tar, or maybe he was copying her gimmick with having the ichor looking material.

Either way didn't matter, for them personally she launched several 'quills' from her hand. They were rather long and sharp hair strands but hey they didn't need to know that.

Right now all they needed to know is they had trouble on their hands, and this trouble didn't come off with just soap!

For a second when he spoke about having a few questions, tiny strands of hair that were meant to be near-invisible started to ready themselves on her knuckle to be fired. Jo had taken way too many chances at this point immediately giving people the benefit of the doubt in these types of cases.

Though after his first couple of words, Jo breathed a mental sigh of relief. So at least she kept the student aspect of her completely hidden from the world. Considering she had been a student for only a couple of months and had been a vigilante for most of her life, probably still gave out that vibe.

Ghouligan continued to speak and Jo nodded now and again, this was definitely an honest conversation and he wasn't trying to lead down some type of bad path.

"So you wanna make a network for fellow do-gooders who hate paperwork? I have to say that definitely completely piqued my interest in the matter. Besides you bound to not like or disagree with a few people in this life doesn't mean you can't still work together."

At the very worst if they continue to be rude or risk other lives you let someone know how it feels to have hair travel up you and give your brain a little shake... Jo had only done that once and the person was only in the hospital for a month so it wasn't that bad a situation.

"So if I was interested where do we go from here?"

Silence.

So far that was all that could be heard coming from her little radio was nothing but calm waves on occasion catching nearby radio stations. So in other words Jo was dealing with nothing but rain and wind waiting for a crumb of something on the line. Lets be real though, the real problem with doing something like this was regardless, when something came to fruition she had a time limit before police showed up and soon enough a pro would jump onto the scene.

But, hell at least it was nice sometimes swinging by and having pretty good songs playing.

Of course, not all the time did you get your answers from the radio. Sometimes you got your answer if ya looked around at the world around you. Which in this case was nothing too. but ya know at least it wasn't a whole bunch of people running away from a murderous cube, an evil squirrel or giant robot...

Yea she had a weird rouge gallery up to that point.

Shaking her head in the rain, Jo found herself landing atop another building sliding on the watery roof, but that was nothing new to her legs. To anyone catching a glimpse it'd look like some weirdo practicing skating techniques while she continued to move forward. There was nothing happening on the inner sanctum so might as well move to the outer and give one last check there.

Besides if she was lucky she could turn in early and get a nice meal and chill out next a heater. Ya know, something that most likely ninety percent of the country was doing right now!

"Okay, at least the essays are finished, but I need to stop writing them about ongoing things eventually someone on that staff will pinpoint it back to me."

Jo spoke aloud, cracking her neck and looking ahead to the city. The vigilante costume still wasn't the best if anything it was a jumpsuit with some stripes but the mask no longer looked like a serial killer mask so that was a positive. Though to be fair if she really wanted to she could make a better costume... the problem is itd be traced back to her old styles and bingo bango, FBI collaborating with Japan and she's sooner or later finding herself in a trap.

The hair on the back of her neck stood up before Jo turned around and saw someone, only to hear them ask for a minute of her time. Now she could've automatically retaliated and attacked but that'd be a little overreacting. Wait a second...

"You're that fella from the cube situation the big explosion and everything... well good to see that ya lived. You arent here for revenge on that right?"

"You a police officer, that'll be the day. Unless they let you redesign that uniform you'd have to wear so it looked more like a frontman outfit, I don't see you doing that." Jo couldn't help but give a small chuckle at the thought, that you'd have everyone else in their uniform heading in with their coffee and morning sandwich.

Suddenly, the wind would whip while the door opened and into the precinct would walk Officer Windy, his coffee black and justice firm. The shire would be safe with this studded emo sleuth on the case... thank god she didn't say any of that out loud.

Passing the first torchbearers Jo scratched the back of her neck and started to survey the area. The area seemed quite serene not to mention more of the minimal type of temple. Rather than those extravagant palaces that somehow were able to exist for hundreds and hundreds of years. They had their place and there was nothing wrong with them, but she much rather this be happening inside one of these places.

She watched them touch his chest and, well of course they weren't gonna touch instead it was her shoulders. As for the flames, Jo couldn't help but watch them move, it was almost as if they were going to be treated to a little show.

"How pretty." The words left her mouth and a small smile curved onto her face. Maybe good luck was indeed on the horizon, which personally Josephine wouldn't mind. Especially after the last month, some good luck would be pretty sweet right now.
