This was torture.
Not the climb itself, that would've been simple and if she was Peacekeeper she could've sent herself flying up the side of that mountain with glee, between climbing and swinging. Maybe test out the new slingshot move, launching herself up, and see if she got a handle on her 'wings'. Instead of all that wonderful poignant time, Windy invited Jo, not Peacekeeper, Jo. In other words, Jo had about three more months before she could get up the side of a mountain with semi-challenge allowed.
Right now it had to be a giant challenge.
So using some oil from her hair she was able to get a fake sweat going and was a couple of feet below Windy keeping herself clearly in check.
"No problem, who doesn't love, a good venture? A chance to feel the wind in ya, ya ears and ya body and all that other stuff." Damn it, this was hard. "Ya know school is great, wonderful I'm getting good grades, but ya know I'm in a class where there tryna pull the strength outta me and the hidden potential and all that, but hey I'm able to really 'stick' to these paths and enjoy everything!"
It was only a matter of time now before Jo eventually had to act like she needed a break so for now she just took paces in speech and breaths here and there. Have her chest heave a bit but not too much where it looks like she trying to impress Jesus and everything would be good!

It took a little extra to not throw a jab right in the ghoul's face when he initially appeared right next to her, she wasn't a fan of that trick in the States, nor was she a fan of it now. Naturally, instead of offering him another taste of her knuckle, the ichor began to wrap around her body before becoming a second skin under her clothes. Cracking her neck she could only roll her eyes under the mask that had become her face when he told her she'd had free reign to leave whenever she wanted..
Truly what a humbling experience, to not only lose to a masochist but than to be told you're free to leave at any point from one. Still, no reason to say anything aloud or otherwise regardless of what she had spoken no matter how witty, it'd only come out like a sore loser. Let's be real there is legit nothing worse than that.
Still, she'd focus on all that later right now she still needed to complete her checklist before fighting this creature. Didnt matter how fast she could swim when facing something that big, it's gonna win. Maybe in the air, you have a chance but all bets are off when it's the water, the hometown cephy always wins.
JoJo learned that back in San Francisco.
So now the Peacekeeper needed to take what she learned fighting in the water and learn so she could help Shishkabob this thing and first things, she needed a boat.
With that said without even telling ghouligan she sprinted off the dock and down the side of the water towards a more heavily filled area near the giant. Though it may look like she was taking him up on his offer and running away surely he wouldn't think that.

Be still her pastel-colored heart.
The multiple police breathing down their necks were nothing compared to that stupid smile. The last time she saw a smile like that in action was in one of those movies her American friends would love to watch a thousand times over and not get tired of it. Exclusive to only dudes over six foot and had the Hollywood hair and bod yet here was Ms Mystery putting them all to shame. Mysteries feet skidded to a halt and Dobson followed the action. Big doe violet eyes stared up into those brown eyes of this tall woman.
"Amusement park." Jo blurted out the phrase the small smile on her face curving into something even bigger while her chest heaved a bit here and there. If she was being honest this had been the most exciting someone who wasn't trying to kill her had made her feel in a while. Oh, how could this day get any better, whoops she'd have to put the pure thoughts away for the moment. Apparently, Mystery had something important to ask, now what could it possibly-
"do you trust me?"
PING THERE IT WAS, LEAVE ME ALONE OTHER VOICE IN HEAD. By the end of tonight, they may be low on gas and Jo may need a jacket but that didn't matter. All that mattered was nodding happily and running a little faster straight into that Georgia O'Keefe!

It's rather funny how life works out, one second you're working on an essay. Thinking about how to dodge another class where they wanted to bring out a student's 'true' inner strength. Ya know the usual early night things before you're able to get back to the big things of life, such as balancing a student/vigilante life.
Speaking of the Vigilante life it came careening back when she got a text from Mr Masochist. Aka Mr. Lucky, Aka Ghouligan.
Ya know thank god she never meant any of these thoughts or otherwise, she'd have less than zero friends. Either way, now was not the time to be focusing on the number of friends she had made so far this year, now was a time to look over this bay. The text told her to head to Tokyo Bay and be prepared, though aside from a large and abandoned police blockade keeping civilians away there wasn't much. Jo surveyed the area for at least half an hour wondering what the hell was going on, if this was another stupid test, this time she was gonna-
At that moment, the entire dock that she was on shook, because, of course, it did.
Head towards the edge of the dock it didn't take long the top of something swimming by, at first she thought it was nothing too crazy until all of a sudden the thing blinked. THAT THING BLINKED, underwater and that eye was like the size of two of her stacked atop one another.
How something that big got into the bay she couldn't say nor could she understand. However, what was known was that clearly, this mawunga was why she was here, and more importantly she had two things to do right now.
A. FOLLOW THAT THING
and
B. Find something to fight within the water and make it slightly equal footing.

While he turned to look at her of course she gained control once again. He was only allowed for moments, this body couldn't handle it right now, but soon enough once it was restored enough to handle HIM he'd have no problem taking the reigns for 'longer ordeals'.
Under the mask, Peacekeeper shook her head and no longer felt the blood seeping at her sides. Looks like someone played amateur surgeon again with her body, but on the bright side. She looked left and right only to see Windy and she sighed.
"Well that was handled properly, or as properly as it could be done." The raspy prepubescent voice came back strong while she patted at her sides which showed some skin for a moment before her body was once again covered. "I'll live, just gotta visit a clinic and drink some water and after that, I'll be good to go once again. You sound horrible though so you'd better get to a hospital unless you need me to call an ambulance for ya."

They stood up straight regardless of the injuries staring down at the lizard with no name who had given them such a chore while trying to fight and hold back. All this holding back and for what? To appease some pathetic personal goal whose only reason for existence was thanks to some old flame that would never leave the States?
Ridiculous.
Cracking their neck, he made them look the other way until he saw the body twitch underneath the car. This time he didn't bother to respond, two large tendrils sprouted from their shoulders and lifted the car like it was a tin can. This was a good lesson he was about to teach. When a dominant force has made its mark on you, if you aren't dead, play dead.
The car was lifted a good seven feet into the air, turned onto its side, and slammed once more into the lizard followed by a second, and finally the third. Each time with more force than the last. the windows were gone. The entire care itself was similar to that of an accordion. The first time the lizard's body slightly tried to regenerate after the second and third times it stopped moving.
He didn't bother to check after that if they were still breathing. At this point, the welp wouldn't even make for a decent meal. Throwing the car to the side, once more he cracked their neck and started to move away from the lizard. It seemed the boy had taken care of the other annoyance. All that needed to be focused on now was getting a handle on the internal injuries these bastards got lucky and were able to land on them.
You'd think she had learned something by now.

Ya know, if Jo hadn't come to terms with it at the age of fifteen this would be her awakening right now. Let's acknowledge the fact that this mystery woman ended up colliding head-first with Jo. This was only happening because Jojo decided to help this one individual instead of the police for once. Surprise surprise, this one happened to be a tall attractive rebellious woman with deep brown eyes.
Go figure right?
With that said, JoJo was an adult now. This woman had been a vigilante since she was a child and now she was going to turn it around in Japan and become a hero. There was no one more mature in this prefecture right now than her, and needless to say, she thought with her brain and nowhere else nowadays.
SO, obviously, while on the floor and looking into this newcomer's eyes Jo didn't even hear what came out of her mouth. When her arm was grabbed Jo kinda wish in the moment it was her hand, ignoring the stupid glee club that was the other guy in the back of her mind. Regardless of the accident and the little scratches that she didn't even acknowledge Jo jumped up to her feet and began running with the woman.
Well, running wasn't exactly the best way to put it. This felt more like a light jog around that track at the school, this was the speed she ran at to convince the others she wasn't that strong so as far as she was concerned this woman must be holding back too for the police. Not only was the mystery lady attractive they were also considerate of the rozzers who were terrible at their job.
Oh right, she needed to act civilian.
"Goodness, where are we going stranger?"
Nailed it.

There's a difference when it comes to those who are greedy and who are reckless.
The greedy want it all, they not only want to win but by god, they want to look good doing it too. The reckless though, to hell with all the fo par of the perfect interaction or anything like that. JoJo was never perfect in the States and Peacekeeper sure as hell wasn't going to be perfect here but this interaction was never going to go perfect or the exact way she wanted it too.
Why?
Jo didn't have a single idea how this was going to go, the fact alone she only gave herself one shot instead of three was stupid. Not to mention, instead of actually making this into a fight she threw herself right into close encounter interaction with someone whose repertoire she barely had a clue on the matter.
SO SHE WAS TAKING THE SHOT.
While that pool stick came within close priority, the mask on the side of her face poofed out. No longer close to her skin, it was like an afro or rather an equivalent to a crash pad that came jutting out. No way in hell would this stop and it would definitely make it hurt in a way that she was going to remember it but that didn't matter. What mattered was the ace in the hole or in this case the ace on her back.
The arm on her back launched outward and caused the slide to move a bit quicker. The ball on her fingertip shot forward straight towards the gut.
At this point, it was who would strike first, the smack to the head or the straight shot through that chain.

Well.
This wasn't the best situation, it could be worse, but instead of bleeding from her sides Jo could've been bleeding from her jugular and dead on the ground. So ya know, take the good with the bad and right now there was a lot more bad than good.
The scalie was already regenerating and Jo was dazed and trying her hardest to focus on the ongoing situation. The sound of a guttural laugh could be heard coming from the lizard as they stood up their body regenerating at a slow pace.
"Any last pleas before I slice you to ribbons?" The voice called out with a sickening bloody grin.
"Go fuck yourself." A voice not belonging to JoJo or Peacekeeper responded, this belonged to another. Despite the blood that was falling from JoJo the reaction was enough to confuse the lizard for a moment and a moment was that was needed in this scenario.
Ichor went flying upwards to the car that was wedged in the building and pulled it with force that shouldn't have been capable from a hurt student. It wasn't long before the wedged vehicle had been plucked and with force came careening down up the lizard's healing body and with a loud smash hammered the creature into the ground through the tar of the street.
The arm that had been holding the peacekeeper even now was no longer connected to the reptilian creature.

People watching.
Tis the season for people-watching, it may be a weird hobby but by cracky she deserved a chance to partake in something weird, especially after the consistent past couple of months that had been her life. From learning that the greatest power of all was to choke things and not friendship along with learning apparently there's an HR department for Vigiantles this was nice. Besides, there was another reason to people watch and that was simply to say 'your welcome.'
Yup. It wasn't the best part of her
Your welcome police officers who take ten minutes to get to ongoing situations, you are welcome civilians who dunno how to run away from emergency situations and instead need to be saved. You're welcome children who are about to be crashed into by the Picasso Burnquist... wait what?
Rolling around right now, was a 'young woman' or woman heading towards children at very quick speeds and it was safe to say that they were being followed by the sound of yelling behind them.
Now, if JoJo was in costume right now she could easily tie this one up and leave um for the cops to catch up and give um their little ticket and continue on with life. Unfortunately, Jo wasn't in costume and she wasn't gonna break her back trying to get into costume in a crowded area. So instead she did the next best thing
Trip the police. Now it's true, on the off-chance approaching her was a murderer or something this was a terrible idea, but hey what are the chances of that happening again? All it took was one little thread the same color as the sidewalk slithering across the area like a speedy snake and boop.
Down they go! Skater girl had extra time to skate as they pleased and no one caught the elongated hair that had come out of her leg. If anyone did she could just have the long strong strand fall off her leg and play the ditzy college girl.
It was genius if she did so say herself.

"ENOUGH!"
The word caught the Peacekeeper's attention while trying to wrangle the lizard. If this had been her first rodeo odds are that she would've ignored the yelp and continued on with her own fight. Thank goodness this was nowhere near her first fight so she knew to immediately react.
Regardless of the current fight, she needed a shield and she needed it now. There wasn't a soul on this earth that screamed something like that and didn't have something in their bag to back it up.
A blessing disguised as a curse came when Jo felt the claws of the lizard grab her and pull her body like a ragdoll in front of the growing creature. Thanks to the hair that had wrapped around their head the scalie still couldn't breathe. Of course that didn't matter when through the clotted and matted hair she could see eyes staring daggers straight through her body.
In other words, if looks could kill Jo would be pushing daisies right now.
All the while Inky had just caught up too and was about to use that ink to probably dye her body a different color and that's when it happened.
One second there was silence and the next second all three of them went flying.
Now it is time for pros and cons.
The pros were that the side of the lizard's body that took the attack looked like something off a grill, while Inky was, well splattered on a wall right now bubbling up,
The cons were that both have been shown to regenerate and now Jo was bleeding from her sides thanks to those claws that got through her outfit and made themselves quite familiar with her body.
So in other words, before they could bring themselves back this fight needed to be finished, luckily she had just the toy to do it wedged in the building above them right now.

The energies changed and as predicted, Ghoul could control what (the energies) was around him. There'd be time to marvel at this later right now Jo had to focus on the now, cause it was likely their little fight was already about to end.
Bending closer toward the ground, the ichor tentacles turned slick, ready to move in time with cueballs and give um a good swat out of their interaction. The counterplay here was instant, two minds moving to act upon one another in this sequence. Her body continued moving forward while a small sphere the size of a ball started forming at the tip of one of her fingers.
Now would be her own personal test, by all intents and purposes she had 'two' ways to end this now, using the hand on her back to launch herself forward, or the projectile. Now granted she really couldn't fire the projectile with the speed they were both moving at right now she'd put a hole where that chain was currently flying.
However, he did say to come at him with the intent to kill.
Regardless, that was the difference between most Vigilantes and JoJo. She tried her damndest to not kill and focus on getting them in a position of submission or a knockout. There haven't been many that pushed her that far, and those that did... well they weren't around to the tell of a JoJo tryna kill you.
It had already been done.

Watching Windy lead away the man with a crimson stare, she was left with the two she had singled out and she couldn't help but smile under the mask. Somehow someway, JoJo had been fighting transforming lizards on every continent she had been on so far in her life. She's also undefeated so far and that includes the giant monster too, but at least it wasn't the god variety.
"Ya know, ya both look like you should be on an island somewhere teaching kids the value of friendship and helping them become better people." Those were the last words she got out before both began to charge her or at least it looked like they both were charging the Vigilante. It seemed her comment got under the reptile's skin whose very first move was a charge slamming themselves right into JoJo who went flying towards a couple of windows. Aside from the pain in her abdomen which was likely a bruised rib, this is what she needed.
While the lizard slammed themselves into Jo her ichor reacted by reaching out of its suit and wrapping itself around the lizard's head. Jo only went flying for so long before she stamped her feet onto the building and ricocheted herself back towards the lizard.
Considering Inky tried to come after the vigi with a wave of ink initially, she'd take the bruised rib over letting this fella immediately have her crying black like some cheap horror movie.
The pinball effect worked and now JoJo was on the lizard's back, her ichor wrapping around the neck, mouth, and nose of the huge lizard. The reaction was immediate however Peacekeeper could keep moving while tightening the pressure, didn't matter how big you were if ya couldn't breathe.
All the while Inky saw this happen and Peacekeepe waved at fella igniting rage in that one and causing him to fly over in some goopy rage. So far all is according to plan, the bruised rib not so much was part of the plan, but hey no plan was perfect.
As of now she was doing her job and letting Farrin keep his fight one-on-one something his quirk specialized in so he could fight a little more freely and easily.
