The path up was nothing too crazy, if anything the only real crazy part she had to keep reminding herself about was to take breaks, take out the water bottle, and take a drink here and there. Hell, she almost went a little too far and poured water on herself, but that might been too much stimulation for the Irish or god forbid whoever this woman he always spoke about planted a camera on him. The last thing she needed was to break up another relationship with a free-spirited straight and possession woman.

For the record, that story will never be told, the last thing she needed was more judgment from Windy.

It was interesting to hear his take on the vigi lifestyle when he was speaking to someone not covered in a full bodysuit made from hair. Though it was fair to say his words were very similar to what he had spoken to the vigilante he had worked with over these past couple of months. Maybe it would be okay to reveal-

"No." The other voice immediately interrupted and ended the moment she was having with herself. Unforunately, he wasn't wrong, trusting heroes only goes so well until it doesn't anymore. Next thing ya know they got a fancy raise and you gotta move out of L.A. because you thought trust was the smart thing to do with someone who has a literal badge and job depending on people like you going to jail.

Ah well, comes with this life.

Finally after so long the view could finally be taken in and again Jojo made no effort for trying to bring out her phone, instead a lovely mental picture was taken. Something she'd keep with herself for a very long time unless something else comes along and kicks it out of her data bank.

"Thanks for inviting me along."

While the moment had indeed been beautiful and in no way was she annoyed by this outing there seemed to have hit a problem in the middle of all off this. The two had hit a lull in the conversation, and to JoJo that was the worst! Could you imagine being the type of person who barely spoke and was always blunt and never tried to actually have a conversation?

They'd be annoying that's what.

So, Jo definitely wasn't going to have this silence take over everything, besides Windy was Irish it wasn't too hard to get them to talk with or without alcohol. Okay maybe that was a little stereotypical, but ya know it wasn't like she was entirely in the wrong.

Only one way to find out.

"So, how about yourself with classes? You seem pretty close to the whole hero aspect of this university at this point I'da figured you had the license and the whole nine by now. Surely you're three-quarters down and only one more to go with how ya been fairing."

There that seemed like a pretty honest question nothing to prying, they were students after all nothing crazy about asking about progress. After all, he had asked her earlier and Jo lied as naturally as breathing but she had a reason.

Jo didn't feel like going back to the States her ex was there.

It had come to her attention, that Ghouligan did indeed not mean that he was trying to hook her up with other people. Instead, the Masochist had sent her an update stating this was to 'meet' other vigilantes. Now this may not the be best thing for someone who is a student at a University to go to, but let's be real here. At this point, she had done more vigilante activities, than after-school activities, the last big thing she did at that school was a bake sale where some fella hit on her, so ya know what she'd at least hear out the motion of this meeting.

For starters no way in hell was she going to show up showing her face so she went with something simple in this case. Cover herself in ichor for her disguise and put on some baggy shorts and a tank on top of all that. The hair on top of her head was poofed out and she was ready to meet all the new people.

So here we are now, in front of this riveting rundown piece of potential, that's what was before her right now, potential. Like every run-down dump she had been to in the past where she either met a rich vigilante or someone trying to kill her and leave her body. This place had all the potential in the world to change her life for the better, or throw her corpse in a gutter and be found later bloated and blotted.

Walking into the room she looked left and then right, after that she had to absolutely try her hardest to not laugh. Oh god, he was really wearing a friggin skull mask that looked like he walked out of the movie with the bdsm demon.

'Don't laugh, don't laugh or he'll kill you.' She kept reiterating the phrase in her head whilst the other guy up in her head was itching to have a crack at that no-face ghoul. Instead, Peacekeeper sat on top of the cleanest table she could find and stayed quiet singing songs in her head.

Who knows maybe another student or someone she knew would show up which would be even more awkward cause this is Peacekeeper and not Jojo.

Oh right, I don't have ears blah blah blah skin and appendages are social constructs. Every mutant has an excuse for why they can't make life easier for everyone else on the boat. However, that didn't matter right now, lord and behold Ghouligan had gotten the message and was following her request to a perfect T. Though, it shouldn't have been too hard considering it wasn't like she was asking him to bake a cake here but that didn't matter.

He did his job and weakened and played bait. Now it was time for her to bring home the bacon or in this case the calamari.

At this point the pendulum was a monster in itself, if she wasn't careful she could cause serious damage and sink the mass that she was already on, not to mention if she screwed up sink to the depths along with this thing. Still, though this had to be timed just right, there was no time for snappy one-liners or classic quips. Peacekeeper had to stop this thing now before it caused any more trouble for the bay.

So when Ghoul had finally gotten the thing in the position she saw heading, an open wound clear and ripe for the picking. How he made that, and more importantly why he gave it a weapon she didn't know. Who knows how the mind of men works, always needing a challenge on top of a challenge.

Back and forth, back and forth, wait for it! Wait for it... Now!

With the swing of the pendulum, she finally let the weight fly her forward away from the boat but that's not all. Using her might she added some style to this murder.

She did a flip. The flip was needed though using her power and the force already added the crane wrapped with her and now she had it exactly where she needed it. On a collision course straight for this damn cephy.

The hair on her arms thinned and snapped off before it could carry her down with the added and a tentacle from her back whirled and latched onto the boat. There was a moment of metal creaking before the impact. A wave the size of a monsoon was immediate and the creature's cries of pain were second.

Direct hit! The monster was sporting some new jewelry that went straight through the thing while it writhed in pain! Blood and ink went every which way and likely would coat the bay for some time along with that freighter.

"Got um!"

"Whoever owns this is going to be really mad, it's a good thing it's either a large company or billionaire so I don't care,"

Those were the only words that left peacekeeper's mouth while staring at the rather large crane. It was big enough to pick up mid-sized boats or several containers, in other words, was definitely the biggest thing they could possibly hit cephy with at the moment. At the very least, they could restrict the giant if they struck at the perfect place.

"Okay, gonna hurt."

Jo spoke aloud to herself forgetting to use the voice while hyping herself up. Hopping up the crane and running up the rope she got halfway before figuring that'd be enough to take on the rope. Now, she had only done this once before and it didn't end that well, however, Jo was also a tween so ya know try again.

"Okay, okay, no big deal." The words were spoken aloud while hyping herself up once again finally using her hair to undo the middle conjunction between the wires holding up the crane.

Now, to say Peacekeeper was surprised by the sudden weight would be an understatement. The crane immediately began to fall and massive amounts of hair started to solidify around her arms while holding the wires. Considering if she dropped this thing there be another giant hole in the bay that wouldn't be good. It took awhile but in a way she kinda gave herself a giant hammer, though now was the hard part getting it back to where the cephala...

"He's gotta lure it over, here but how do I...JOPHONE CALL MASOCHIST!"

She shouted out loud and thanked god for those stupid phone settings no one likes while her phone confirmed and called Ghouligan.

"Well, luck is in an interesting adjective, ya know."

It was tough for Jo, everything inside her was killing the woman to act this 'pathetic'. (Not to mention, the other guy in the back of her head had a monologue ready every time they got home.) It was also crazy, to have her progress going only bit by bit. Slow and steady, and only after that would she be able to show any type of prowess after a couple of months.

It was the idea though and she was sticking to it or at least they had to for the time being. Maybe something big could happen and then she could show a little more but only after she figured out a way to use her quirk that in no way whatsoever looked like Peacekeeper.

So ya know, gonna be a bit before that.

"Kenta Muruyama?" Now that wasn't a name the woman was familiar with, but they seemed friendly enough. The problem was if they had a quirk similar to her own they may be able to realize that this was all one big ruse.

Maybe she was a bit paranoid.

"Well maybe, we can go out one day all three of us together, and think of something ya know!"
