The results of their combined efforts were happening quickly. The ice woman had made the choice that he expected her to do, especially once she realized that he wasn't just an average civilian as was capable of cleaving through the ice she made. Sho wasn't going to just back off, he was already on the move heading towards where Freja was setting up what would be a homerun. Literally.[break][break]
Ice-ekiel was feeling overwhelmed and frustrated. Of course there just happened to be two people here that could not only tolerate her cold but even break through the effects of her quirk. She could see the girl winding up getting ready to swing at her but fortunately she had a secret weapon. The cooldown period of her quirk usage wasn't mandatory, just a suggestion to keep her from developing frostbite. As she was heading towards the ground she would shoot out a blast of ice to propel her backwards.[break][break]
Unluckily for her Sho was already on her, flipping his blade to the blunt side he would swing at her catching her back and knocking the wind out of her as she was 'pitched' back towards Freja. It all happened in an instant and with enough force behind his own swing hopefully, Freja wouldn't hesitate to go all out. Someone who was willing to hurt innocents indiscriminately deserved to be hurt.

Taking a moment to observe the situation Sho was looking around for Freja, hoping that she didn't become part of the zombie army. When his eyes finally found her on the ground, bleeding out internally he was pissed. In his mind violence was justified if it had a purpose whether that was for self defense or even for money. Random acts of violence especially those with fatal intent didn't fall on either end of his karmic moral system. [break][break]
Still he didn't say anything. He was completely unmoving as he waited for the man to finish his rant and fire all the bullets of his weapon. When the dust cleared he would be able to see that Sho was completely unscathed "You done?" he would say narrowing his eyes as advanced on the man quickly and with a quick double stab of his weapon he would puncture his abdomen, exactly where Freja was bleeding from and then his heart. When the crazy drama kid finally passed the mushrooms on everyone would fall off and they'd all pass out. Wasting no time he'd rip the fabric from one of the civilians and use it to fashion a tourniquet. Lifting Freja with one of his extra appendages he'd waste no time leaving the battlefield, moving silently and quickly through the night until he ended up at the closest hospital. Even if he wanted to say anything Gyrfalcon saving someone for free was bad for business so he'd instead prop her up near the ER and sink into the ground. Someone would help her soon.

Sho smiled back at Freja taking his advice to heart. Had she decided to use a bladed weapon instead of a bat he was sure she would have already surpassed him. Quirkless or not she was more competent than she thought she was and this just proved it. Some would have hesitated to strike themselves especially in the heat of battle.[break][break]
Ice-ekiel grumbled to themselves flexing their fingers over and over again to jumpstart their quirk. At the last minute, she was able to generate some energy, but the two of them coming from completely different directions meant that she only had enough juice to chose a target. Even if that feeling of contempt from Freja didn't go away she viewed Sho as more of a threat. Bringing her pillar up higher she's send a wave of hail-like bullets down at him. If he was fast enough to cut the bigger ones apart lets see if his fancy sword skills could deflect a rain of bullets. [break][break]
Sho would respond in kind, kicking himself into second gear as he used fancy footwork and a few well-timed deflections he would avoid nearly all of them except for one the caught his shoulder. It would immediately freeze over the wound and he'd lose feeling in that arm. Quickly swapping his sword to his free hand he'd continue his advanced, taking his sword in reverse grip once more and slicing through the ice pillar and then doing it again and again. With Ice-ekiel feeling every stroke of his sword she decided to leap off the tower, unable to use her quirk at the moment but at least she'd be safe. Well that was unless Freja had anything to say about it.

The place seemed empty. Sho would walk around the second floor, moving from room to room ready to strike at anything that moved. It was looking more like a house party that got busted by the cops at this point. There were drink cups everywhere and trash that clearly had just been tossed wherever. Sho, being a bit of a neat freak, wasn't a huge fun but he had bigger fish to fry.[break][break]
The sound of a gunshot would make him drop from the upper level and look around, dashing from place to place. Still nothing...odd. That meant the gunshot was outside and he'd use his quirk to peep through the wall to see all the zombies gathered in one spot and Freja nowhere to be seen. He was able to catch the tail end of the speech, stepping out and leaping over to the spot adjacent to the group. "We're not friends." he'd hold up his blade from the distance and direct his attention to the crazy drama kid "Drop the gun or I'll disarm you. Literally."[break][break]

The cold was definitely getting to a point where they wouldn't be able to take it anymore. The only reason Sho was able to tolerate it was due to her own experiences. Training as much as he did his master didn't stop at just the basics instead opting to have him practice in inclement weather. The blizzard training up north was definitely coming into play now. He could focus his mind on his blade and take deep breaths in order to phase out the lingering cold sensation.[break][break]
Running forward with his sword in hand, he would turn back towards Freja, watching her slowly succumb to the icy vapor. She looked like she was going to pass out and she was trembling, not in anticipation or fear but the cold seeping into her body. He'd skid to a halt which was a bit harder on the ice and would whip his head around "Freja use your bat! Pump yourself up" he'd mimic using the flat side of his blade to smack his forehead. He knew that this maneuver inflicted enough pain to shock yourself back into focusing and was frequently used in martial arts to keep yourself going. [break][break]
As for Sho had was now moving forward at a quicker pace, sending all of his intent to strike the woman down in order to pull her away from Freja. It seemed to have worked as the woman was now looking at him. She had used too much energy earlier so she couldn't attack him right away, mentally counting down the seconds until she could throw something at him as a deterrent. Sho, who wasn't going to let this go unnoticed, would yell back at Freja "Now's the time! Move in, we'll attack from two directions."

He wasn't a fan of collecting bounties on UAU students but that didn't mean that he hadn't in the past. It largely depended on the reason for the hit and the demeanor of the person in question. Freja was someone he wouldn't have ever accepted a bounty on but she didn't know that and he planned to keep it that way.[break][break]
"If you say so." he could see that his words, in a way made Freja steel herself. Good to see she was getting more experience in how to act under pressure. As Freja reluctantly obliged to touch the mushroom Sho would ready his weapon, prepared to slice the mushroom off her head the second it grew. [break][break]
"Looks like you were telling the truth." he'd lowered his weapon before moving forward and slicing off the mushrooms from the pinned civilians with ease. They would immediately fall unconscious just in time for the rest of the zombies to make their way outside. "I'm going inside, rip off as many mushrooms as you can." he'd use the arms to lift himself up and throw himself towards the upper level of the building and phase through the wall with ease. From there he'd put his guard up and ready his weapon as he began to quickly check room to room to find the source of the infection.

She may not have been able to hear them, but their strategy planning session didn't go unnoticed. They were the only ones in the area that were putting up any sort of fight so she needed to eliminate them as fast as possible. How else would she turn Nerima into her ice kingdom? The destroyed buildings and roads should have been enough to keep any heroes at bay and yet she was fighting two of them at the same time. Well, one but it wasn't like she knew that. [break][break]
"Yup. As long as the two of us avoid getting frozen, she'll eventually run out of stamina...hopefully" he couldn't be too sure but it seemed like the most likely win condition. This time it took her 35 seconds to recover which was at least 10 seconds longer than before. Once Ice-ekieal was ready she'd rise further into the air, creating an ice pillar for a better vantage point. The swordsman was standing in the open but she was focused on the other one, with a swipe of her hand she would send a large vertical slide towards the car in an attempt to cut it in two. "It's coming! Move Freja!" Sho would shout as he began to advance on the ice villain. If she continued to focus on Freja he would make sure that she couldn't ignore him by getting into close combat range. [break][break]

"Mhm." the usual friendliness he displayed to Freja whenever they met up was gone. He didn't harbor any ill will towards Frjea or even question why she was here. Frankly he didn't know much about her personal life aside from her being a UAU student, quirkless, and her penchant for vigilantism that got her injured more often than not. "Quirkless, huh? You sure you can hold your own? I don't save anyone who can't save themselves so if you get turned into a mushroom head you'll get the same treatment." he knew Freja could hold her own but once again this was a way to keep her at arms length about everything related to him.[break][break]
Her story about why she was here and what she knew did give him valuable information. If it originated from one person and the party was normal up until the point that Freja was mentioning, this meant that the original person was definitely still inside. "If you're unaffected then I guess you'd be a good distraction but if you're going to piss yourself," he'd point to her trembling hands "you're more of a liability."[break][break]
Without warning Sho would shoot out multiple arms from his back which would move through the air in an arc before grabbing four infected people by the throat and slamming them into the ground, pinning them as they struggled to move. Whether Freja would be okay with this brutality didn't matter and if they were drinking prior to this then they wouldn't even feel it. "Go touch a mushroom. I want to see if you're actually immune."

The ice villain continued to cause chaos, upset with the idea that someone could block her attack. She would shake the growing frost off her fingers to keep her going. Her quirk really sucked when it came to efficiency if she wasn't able to resolve her "problems" quickly she would slow down considerably or need a break. The swordsman was a pain, but the real target was the girl. There was something about her that she didn't like to an instinctual level. Could it be the vestiges of her fire quirk? Or at least the quirk in her body.[break][break]
This focus on Freja wasn't going unnoticed. Luckily because of his skill with swords it wasn't too suspicious that he was good in a fight. Hell, his own master was even stronger than he was and could definitely resolve this even faster. "The grapple?" he thought to himself for a moment before coming up with a tentative plan "If you grapple towards her she'll probably just use more ice. Keep moving I think there's something off with her. She keeps pausing longer between attacks." right after he said this another wave of ice would fly towards them this time as a circular spinning saw. Sho would grab Freja by the waist and move out of the way once more, just barely able to dodge it entirely. "I'm gonna count until the next attack. Get towards cover I'm gonna to see if I can draw her attention." a two-fold maneuver to see how long it would take her to recover and if she had a personal grudge against Freja. Both could be used to their advantage.[break][break]

"Gyrfalcon." he would state flatly "If you recognize the name you should know that I'm not a hero. I'm here for a job." a lie but he had a reputation he had to protect and if he needed to be villain in Freja's eyes to keep her in the dark about his identity than he would be glad to take that on. She clearly didn't feel confident enough to take him on regardless and she'd be dumb to do so if there was a zombie outbreak.[break][break]
Her panicked explanation would have proven to him that she wasn't the reason for this outbreak even if he didn't have knowledge ahead of time with who Freja was. "Why are you unaffected." he knew the answer, but if everyone else was at the house party and she wasn't perhaps she was immune to the quirk? Maybe the mushroom affected quirk factors. He'd need to see it in action.[break][break]
The zombies were the perfect opportunity to test this theory. He'd glance over at the one that was knocked out and notice the mushroom had been removed "Target the head. Remove the mushroom, and we'll move inside the house." he wasn't about to let Freja get killed, but he couldn't be as supportive as he was before. With a powerful step he would launch forward and use his dagger to puncture the mushroom on the head so it would crumble as it fell off and with a swift kick to the abdomen he would move person out of the way.

If Ice-ekiel wasn't as powerful or Sho could have used his quirk he probably could have ended the fight in one strike. One slash through the air and the light would leave her eyes. This however was too public and he was a civilian in this case, using his sword for self defense. If anything Freja had more of right to be the aggressor as she was a UAU student. So he'd need to function as support for the time being.[break][break]
Surprisingly observant given her penchant for shouting her name over and over again. The villain would fire off a rapid barrage of icicles towards Freja which Sho saw coming from a mile away once she turned her head. He would kick off the ground, holding his sword in reverse-grip style, before releasing what would look like instantaneous slashes to shred the ice to bits using rapid sword movements that made it appear that he only swung his sword once. It was a taxing maneuver that required his maximum speed and stamina output, but it was better than letting Freja get skewered.[break][break]
"Pump yourself up" he'd pant as the cold in the air made his breath visible "Even if you avoid the ice we still have to worry about the cold, I'm just a civilian so I don't have the same pull as you do as a UAU student." it was a bit of a burden to put on Freja but she should be able to handle it.

Whatever was going on in that area wasn't too far from him and his curiosity got the best of him. He was no hero, but he was someone who was physically capable of responding to threats. [break][break] The scene in front of him was basically the plot of a horror movie. People shuffling around like zombies with...mushrooms on their heads? He'd seen a lot but this was certainly new. Taking out his phone he would open the tracker he had with his other siblings just to make sure they weren't involved OR the cause of this situation. Rui was back home, Ume was out likely eating somewhere and Lil wasn't even in Tokyo. Probably with Cal. [break][break] This was a job for Gyrfalcon rather than Sho. If there was some sort of chemical warfare going on he'd need to use his quirk. He would don his Mask of Shadows and grab his sword Black Talon from his car. Luckily he had travelled with it this time. Dashing onto the scene with his sword in it's katara form he would spot a familiar face, Freja. She wouldn't be able to recognize him so in this case he decided it would be best to engage with her professionally and keep things short "What's the situation?" he would stand above her, noting that she didn't have a mushroom on her head. Right in the thick of things as always. Sho wasn't alone this time however as somehow he had ran into Freja Helt once again. She was out doing vigilante things and he, as a civilian, happened to be in the area. [break][break]
The Elementals created a perfect opportunity for chaos. The damage to infrastructure made it so it was harder for heroes to respond in a timely manner and there was no better place for this than where The Rumbling occurred. Damaged buildings, destroyed roads, and countless deep craters meant that if a villain could block the only viable paths they could wreak havoc. Which was exactly what they were dealing with.[break][break]
A villain with ice powers was going wild in the center of Nerima having put various ice barriers around the area. "Freja strike fast and hard, don't stay still" he called out jumping out of the way of another ice block coming his way. If he used his quirk he would definitely be identified as Gyrfalcon if there was anyone observant watching. He would slice through another block as he trie to get closer to the woman who was shouting her name over and over again; The Ice-ekiel.
