The Gorgon was by far one of the trickiest opponents he'd faced in the last years. With a significant amount of jobs under his belt Sho had tackled everything from public figures to taking down established Pro Heroes and gain a reputation for his effectiveness. This in itself was usually enough of a deterrent as the idea of a well-known assassin was enough to give anyone pause. Unlike his usual opponents, The Gorgon's odd movements made him feel as though he wasn't even fighting a human, and the addition of the unknown, when it came to her quirk, meant he wasn't willing to overplay his hand here. Ultimately this was an extraction mission and as long as Rui could get out of the building there wasn't any reason to keep the fight going. [break][break]

Based on her own actions it seemed like The Gorgon was as smart as she was tough. She was constantly putting herself between him and the weaker link behind her which ultimately gave Jun enough time to get away. She was out of her depth here regardless so it was the right call for both of them. He would keep his blade steadied, gripping the handle while keeping his wrists in a positon that he could jump into action if needed. The Gorgon was fast even for his standards and seemed pretty comfortable using the three-dimensional space to get around, and yet...she took a step back and then another. His eyes narrowed as he watched her slowly retreat likely to regroup with the student under her protection. There wasn't any need for him to rush; she may have been quick when it came to bounding around spaces, but for him, walls and floors were optional. Even if she decided to pursue Rui to apprehend her, there was no way she would reach her before he did, even at maximum speed.[break][break]

With their confrontation finally ended Sho would once again sink into the ground and make his way out of the facility. With the instructions he gave Rui, combined with her inability for complex thought at times, there was less of an exact extraction point and more of a general area he expected her to be. Pulling himself through the floor and then the walls he would poke his head out and see her laying on the ground, clearly jumping from a height that would severely injure anyone else but her. A shadow would extend and grab her by the head pulling her up to her feet and dragging her towards him "We're going. For the next two days you're staying at home and I will be checking your location. Come on." Seeing as she wasn't injured and the heroes were still dealing with the blackout and any collateral damage Rui caused on her way out, he would slink off into the night.

Sho would make a mental note to never respond to another ENKI notification ever again. His loyalty was to himself and to his siblings, as stupid as that was, and no one else. Retsu had been nothing but trouble from the moment she met but unlike the specific brand of idiot Rui was, she was not immortal. In fact she had proven herself very mortal over and over again.[break][break]

Still, unwilling to compromise when it came to the demands of having Ghouligan leave Sho kept his blade raised as Ghouligan relented and "left". Once he was certain their would be no sneak attack Sho would put his weapon away and was about to reenter the building in order to keep Jaida from getting herself killed. Her sister was persistent and didn't listen to anyone but him and their siblings so if she wanted to kill Jaida it wasn't an if but a when. Just as he was about to move back through the wall his phone would buzz, the real one he used as Gyrfalcon, and he took a moment to read the message he received. A 5 Star Bounty came up and the request for elimination of the target would come with a bonus. 'Perfect timing' Sho thought to himself as he accepted the job and then would text Rui "Leaving for work. Don't get yourself arrested." and sent that along. Rui wasn't at any risk of death but if she did get thrown in jail she would likely spend more time there then she would hope.[break][break]

Slowly sinking into the ground using his quirk Sho was out. Perhaps things would work out, and no one would die. Well, not that it mattered to him. All he knew was that if a brawl broke out, was there a potential of him losing even with Ghouligan and Gadget here?[break][break]

Nah, he'd win.

It was a delicate situation to say the least. On one hand he didn't actually want to fight or hurt Ghouligan as he genuinely believed in his cause and even his own methods of not holding back when needed. Heroes were the ones who needed to protect and process criminals, after all. Vigilantism meant that you needed to take the necessary actions to eliminate crime not just subdue it. However, he did recognize Ghouligan as a legitimate threat which meant that letting him get to Rui who was reckless was a bad combination. He couldn't think of anything worse than the two meeting, as it would likely end up with him having to pick a side. Not good. [break][break]

His shadow-obscured red eyes would narrow at Ghouligan's jest. He didn't move a single muscle, trying to determine the best way to be a deterrent in the whole situation. If Gadget was already inside there wasn't much that could be done with that, but he could redirect Ghouligan by force if he had to. [break][break]

"Yes, you will." he brandished his weapon, gesturing to the open space behind Ghouligan and away from the warehouse. "You can either leave the way you came or end up in pieces. I don't show mercy more than once." this was very much true; there were a very small amount of people he would give second chances to. [break][break]

Oh good. Prideful and quirkless. Truly a woman with a death wish. Sho thought to himself how easy it would be at that moment to grant this wish and just cut her down. Rui might be a little bummed, but she would manage and with his moral system in play Retsu would do more harm then good in the world so killing herwould be justified. For a brief moment, this malice was palpable, he wasn't particularly bothered by what she said more just weighing the pros and cons in his head. "Suit yourself. Mummy, she's all yours." Sho would use the extended arm and pull himself up and through the ceiling. To them, he had left the battlefield. [break][break]

In reality he had another motivation. The implications of Ghouligan and Gadget killing Retsu is what kept him around. In a 2 on 2 fight he had not doubt that they would end up winning and from what he'd heard about Ghouligan's exploits he wasn't exactly adverse to murder. As for Gadget who knows, but she likely could hold her own against both Rui and Retsu at the same time.[break][break]

Sho would quickly scout the area until he found the alleyway that Ghouligan was in. He would watch as he effortlessly dispatched of the grunts sent to deal with him. 'I'll just keep him busy' he thought as he drew his blade and switched it to it's nodachi form. Stepping over the edge he would fall silently, aiming to land in front of Ghouligan assuming he didn't leave the area. If successful, he would point his blade at his head. "You must be lost."
