Having seen it quite literally 100s of times at this point, Sho was unphased by Rui's sickening display of rapid healing. From what he understood Rui was functionally immortal. He had seen her get riddled with bullets, bisected although that one was on him as friendly fire was off, and even poisoned enough to kill an elephant. All of them had varying periods of recovery, but she still recovered. Well, aside from the bisecting that was more emotional damage than anything else. "You weren't killing anyone. They were going to shoot you down and throw you in jail again." at least between the three of them, Rui was valuable in her utility.

Then there was Retsu. Unbelievable that she had managed to survive this long. He would stare unblinking as she answered his question with something equally stupid, as if she were talking to Rui. "I can see that. Why are they here? Is it just you inside? Are they after something you have? Any details outside of the obvious." he'd take the opportunity to look around. It was junky but lived in, which likely meant it was Retsu's home. He had never considered her having a home, instead just a bunch of safe houses rigged with explosives...which he couldn't rule out about this one quite yet. "I'm going to take a look, and no, you don't get any reward. Maybe she'll reward you if you patch her up this time." work mode Sho was a real piece of work, huh?

"I'm not going to walk around with a voice in my head, so Mummy, you'll need to relay whats being said." From a slightly obscured corner, he would stick his head out of the building just enough to see the crowd. '10 cops cars and at least one Pro Hero. Nothing that can't...wait.' his eyes narrowed onto two familiar figures. These were the two from the vigilante meeting, which made everything a lot more complicated. He'd return to the main area and walk up behind Retsu. "Mummy can handle the distraction. We're getting you out of here, now." A shadowy arm would extend back towards the ceiling and grab on. "Let's go" he'd extend a hand to take her up with him. Rui would be fine fighting an army if they couldn't suppress her quirk.

- Sho is very cordial to Retsu[break]
- He denies Rui a a reward instead throwing Retsu under the bus as is tradition.[break]
- Doesn't put on his earpiece, too paranoid for that ish[break]
- Checks the outside discreetly and recognizes Jaida and Ghoul (mostly Jaida)[break]
- Offers to extract Retsu through the roof and leave Rui behind as a distraction.[break]

Not exactly happy at this situation as it was unfolding Sho dashed out into the hallway carrying Rui like a piece of luggage. The alarms now blaring in the place were all thanks to The Gorgon who, based on what he heard prior to their exit, it was clear she had done her homework and knew who he with just a brief scuffle. The student (Moon Ring) wasn't really much worry to him, if she was barely able to beat Rui then her skills likely paled in comparison to his own. He had not been saving a criminal this job would have been much easier, a quick beheading of the Pro Hero and trainee and then exit through the station by force. Unluckily this was not one of those cases where he could go all out, so an escape on foot was all he could do.

"Give me the knife." he'd extend his free hand to Rui, taking it regardless of her protest. His sword would do too much damage given the circumstances, but by employing his skills with a much small knife it just meant all the wounds inflicted wouldn't be even close to fatal. The flying disk wasn't something he was too worried about and with a flick of his wrist from the knife-wielding hand he would send out an airborne slash to cut the shield in two, diverting its flight path in the process.

The Gorgon's taunts were extremely unwelcome as Rui was just dumb enough to fall for it. She was the type of person to have someone save her and then walk right back into the place she escaped from to get some final words...which was taken from a real experience from a few months ago. The light from the shield illuminated the path enough that he could see The Gorgon in hot pursuit. He'd lean into Rui and whisper "It's right, left, right, right, straight. Got it?" he would then change up his tactics. If The Gorgon was smart, she'd know he was the more important target. Sho would hand the knife back to Rui and then hyperextend the shadow arm, carrying her forward and giving her a push towards the path of escape. Coming to an abrupt stop in order to avoid the trajectory of the arrows headed towards him, he'd use the other shadow arm to pull himself backward, his sword drawn with the blunt side facing forward, and charge towards Jun. Either keep up the pursuit of Rui or save her intern, if she were like any other hero, she'd prioritize the safety of her trainee.

After a few minutes their didn't seem to be any additional people coming to this impromptu meeting. Smart as vigilanties were in a position that opposed both hero society AND villains. Very easily could have been a trap and Sho was sure that deterred more than a handful. Hell he could think of about 10 vigilantes he'd seen in the field that weren't here, likely because they didn't have as much of an effective means of escape as Sho's ability to phase. Regardless he stayed silent as Ghouligan explained his thoughts, Sho flicking glances at everyone to watch their body language. He wasn't sure what everyone here was truly capable of but what he did no is that from this spot some iajutsu would cripple anyone who decided to act in bad faith. Irony at its finest from a professional assassin.

What the person named Warper came up with actually caught his attention. They really were fully decked out in gear that looking fairly advanced or at the very least they weren't bluffing when they said they had some skill. Stalker following up on the ideas of how to keep a loose network was something he could definitely get behind. He was apart of the ENKI Network after all and even then he didn't respond to any alerts besides Rui's and once in a blue moon, Retsu. This did however prompt him to speak up once more "Ronin." he would use one of his free hands to point to the blades on his body. "Self-explanatory and all anyone needs to know, really." There wasn't any malice in his voice as he was just stating a fact that everyone could understand. He would reach into his pocket and hold up what was clearly a phone that was a little beaten up and once they could identify that it was just a phone and not a bomb he would toss it over to Warper.

"If a network is what we're after there's no better place to start than with the ENKI Network. It's a channel that only registered members get to use and is where the call to action from the other day originated." he'd point to the phone "That was taken off of one of the petty criminals. It has no password and you're free to keep it, I have no use for it anymore." crossing his arms he continued "Shinjuku i-Land Tower 6-5-1 Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo 163-1339." He'd pause for a brief moment to see if anyone could recognize that address and regardless he'd continue to explain for those who didn't "A restaurant. Has a hidden doorway that leads to an underground bunker that stores the servers. Data is encrypted so you'd have a bad time trying to find out names, but if you're skilled enough to reverse engineer something like this," he'd nod at Warper before turning to Dion "We'll have our own encrypted network." another nod before centering his gaze behind the mask at Ghouligan "I also know of an underground doctor who will treat anyone regardless of their allegiance and doesn't take money. Just trinkets and objects that capture their interest." That was as much free info he was willing to give without more trust of the individuals that were gathered here.

From Sho's point of view there wasn't as much resistance as he thought. Luckily for Rui she wasn't taken exactly seriously by the general populace. For all intents and purposes she was a small time petty criminal who wasn't threatening to nearly anyone. In fact the way she was captured, by a student nonetheless, was a very telling sign. Still, she was his 'sister' and had helped him out from time to time even if it was coerced.

He had written off the student in the room as a non-threat. Rui could at least keep her distracted as he dealt with the bigger fish: The Gorgon. A fairly reputable hero and UAU's nurse with plenty of experience and from what he'd heard she had a unique quirk that made her particularly hard to deal with. Her actions reflected this, using whatever her quirk could do to coat the room in arrows. 'Likely some sort of sensory network,' he would move himself to be squarely under the chair so he could observe a bit more before acting.

The student was a bit more reckless and was willing to engage Rui in combat even without knowing how she was able to escape from her bindings. Three shadow arms extended through the chair and would lash out at the duo in an attempt to support Rui's attack. One of the arms would intercept the flashlight and threw it back towards Jun. The second arm would fly towards Hebiru in an attempt to grab her by the throat and subdue her. The third arm would grab his foolish sister to pull her back from getting overpowered and also in order make sure he didn't drift too far into his negative karma. He would pull himself out of the ground, sword in hand and sending a slice towards the door to cut it open and give them a path for escape "No more. We're leaving." he'd say to Rui before putting her down and giving her a push towards the now open escape route. He'd ready his blade to respond to any further intervention with his features fully obscured by shadows.
