Even with his warped sense of justice, Sho considered himself a good judge of character. This newcomer seemed to be on his side even if they said nothing upon their arrival, and even if they ended up being an accomplice of the other group, it wasn't something he couldn't deal with. Either way, he would turn to the newcomer and give them an affirming nod to indicate they were on the same side. Sho still couldn't help this nagging feeling about abandoning Chameli so abruptly, but he had to apologize and make up for it as she said.

Instead of running, the group split as the largest of the men stepped forward with his crew rallying behind him. "You'd think with all the noise that we'd get some peace and quiet to do our job." the group behind him began to chuckle. "Some nobody heroes are gonna stop us, huh?" the grunts activated their quirks, some transforming and others conjuring elements, with their leader having his skin turn metallic. "I don't even need to get involved for some nobodies like you. Get 'em, boys!" The group of 6 would split into two teams of three and begin their assault on the duo. For Chameli, she would be going up against a man with blades of hands, another who could spray water from his mouth, and the final one who could increase his size to about double the average of an adult man. Sho, on the other hand, was dealing with someone who could turn objects into explosives through touch, someone who could turn both arms into a large Gatling gun, and the last one who could create nets of fire to trap others in. The battle was on.

It was pure chaos.[break][break]

Whoever was the benefactor of the ENKI system had decided today would be a day filled with chaos and carnage with a cryptic message of mobilizing as many villains as possible at once. In just a few hours, the entire city was ablaze with fighting and the sounds of sirens. There was a thick air of death surrounding the town, with many casualties on both sides and even those who were innocent and unlucky to be caught in the crossfire. It was a paradise for your small-time criminal who was free to wreak havoc with the forces of "good" spread so thin. Usually, they'd be shut down quickly, but there was just too much activity going on all at once with whoever was pulling the strings behind this event being the first in a long time to mobilize such a cohesive force.

Sho, given his connection to the network, also heard the call. His response was to completely shut off the device and leave it behind with his intention to equalize the body count. With his last few jobs, from the Akimichi Family to the fight against Ifrit, he mainly worked with other criminals to remove their competition. Bad Karma. In this case, he would be fighting on the side of "good" on his way to becoming an executioner for the next 18 hours. He would pave the streets with the blood of those villainous criminals who were out of control. He had been at it for hours without stopping or even speaking a word, even to those who recognized his shadow-cloaked figure and weapon as their last thoughts before they crossed the river to the other side. The only company he would keep at the time would be his small, dark-colored shadowy familiar with horns, wings, a tail, and pointed teeth. "Toki. How many is that?" the voice broke the silence uttering his first words while flicking his wrist to remove the blood painted onto his weapon "64." the familiar would chirp back at him. "You should head to that spot number 55 said they were gathering" Toki was referring to the last words of the 55th criminal to be executed in a desperate plea to negotiate his life. Sho would nod to his companion before he pulled out his own phone checking in on the locations of his siblings, and with a heavy sigh, it would become very apparent that the most troublesome one of all was in the center of this mess. Rui did revel in chaos and freedom like the rest of her siblings but took it to a new level relying on his highly potent healing abilities to be reckless as she was able, which usually got her into trouble. Sho would change the trajectory of his night to dissuade his sister from participating in the chaos further, and for him, this meant that he would kill anyone else encouraging her behavior and do the same to those who were stupid enough to attack her.

As he stepped into the shopping mall, opting to use the wall instead of the smashed-in door, he was greeted by more concentrated chaos and carnage, with a considerable amount of criminals in the area smashing and destroying as much as they could. Infighting as far as the eye could see, several keeling over from injuries, and gunshots ringing out in a desperate struggle. Without another word, he would change his Black Talon into its rarely used 'Buster Sword' form, the blade being nearly as large as Sho himself and to most people, would be extremely unwieldy and dense. However, Gyrfalcon was not like most people. As he walked towards a group, a large commotion was heard as as group of people flooded from the upper level down towards the food court. One of the individuals who weren't as caught up in the big rush turned to see the shadow-cloaked Sho with his large sword and broke out in a cold sweat, nearly screaming as he tried to get the attention of the others but was too late. Kicking off the ground with his right foot, he gripped the sword and lunge into the crowd cutting through the group with ease moving in unnatural ways as the blade, much large then himself, would cleave through the skulls and bodies of the individuals foolish enough to gather. When he finally finished, he stood in a circle of the only unsullied ground, with the rest covered in the mixed blood of the grunts. Toki would pop back up just as the gunshot rang out from above them, which was unmistakably a sniper rifle. Not that this mattered much to Sho as he could avoid the bullet, but it did move his attention to where the bullet was fired towards. He would quickly climb the stairs to gain a view of the larger figure across from him, and not wanting to give anyone aside from his sister a chance to retaliate, he would leap from his platform and swing down at her only to stop mid-swing, the force of the blade carried enough to send a gust of wind in Kioko's face. Knowing from their experience that her acts of villainy were more targeted than broad, he would move the blade and place it over his shoulder, willing to give her a chance to defend herself from the accusations since he technically owed her one. "You're not part of that ENKI network." he had made sure to find out as much as he could as to who was engaging with the app "I assume you're back for more vengeance?" there was a slight snark in his voice "You're off my list IF you're not here to assist these guys." he would point to the crumpled body on the floor next to him with the bullet in it's brain and without looking he would point back in the other direction to where Levi was, fairly accurately pinpointing his location "I assume whoever did that is either terrible with their weapon or they don't intend on actually shooting you." expecting snark back he would cut the conversation short realizing he was pretty close to Rui as he could hear the sound of his laughing even from this distance. He would step past Kioko walking towards the center where the two familiar people would be gathered "Whatever path you're on whether it's for vengeance or for carnage, I'd stay of the way. C'mon, goal or not." if Kioko and he were on the same side of the conflict, this wouldn't be much of an issue, but if she wasn't...well, better hope her sniper friend could do more than just shoot bullets. [break][break]
Once he moved to the new location, he would spot Rui and another familiar face from a previous job standing in the mall's center. Given their last experience, it was likely they were up to trouble. "What do you think you're doing." he would approach the hulking blade in tow as his familiar, who was much less harsh on Rui would wave at her from his shoulder, undisturbed by Sho's evident disgust at the situation. If Rui knew him as well as she did, she would be well aware of why he was here and why he was about to scold her.

Given what he knew about Chameli, there wasn't much to lend to suspicions that she was a part-time crime fighter like himself. Heck, from the stories her mom had told him in passing, she was just a civilian with no ability to fend for herself. As he listened to the gunfire, he heard someone else very familiar: the sound of breaking glass. Not willing to entertain the idea of having her tag along, even if it was a detour, was out of the question. He didn't like hurting an innocent in either of his lives. He was already headed over to get the stuff he had stored away just in case of trouble before he would turn back around. "Actually, Chameli?" he would fake a text message. "I'm sorry I can't walk you home; something just came up." he would hand her his phone. "If you put in your number, I'll check in to ensure you got home safely. Can never be too careful." he would give a fake smile as his primary concern at that moment was responding to whatever trouble was happening near them. If Chameli did so, he would give her a wave and head in the opposite direction looping around the long way and using the shadows to keep himself out of sight.

Once he reached the far gate, he would exit the park and move towards a close building. Earlier in the day, he had planted his gear into the side of one of the unoccupied buildings near the park, thinking he may need to use it. So once he pulled out his sword and a quick outfit change with a hoodie. From there, he would activate his quirk to cloak his face in shadows but not bring his horns out, as he didn't want to frighten any potential civilians caught up in this mess. He would skulk through the streets hugging the shadows to avoid detection until he came upon the crime scene, consisting of 7 men who were staging a break-in at a jewelry store. Brandishing his weapon as there was not much they could do at a distance, he would approach and speak only a single word, "Stop."

Anyone else probably would have felt bad about putting Retsu in the position they were in, but Sho wasn't like many people. Perhaps not as crazy as Rui or as indulgent as Ume, he fit in well with them. If Retsu was similar, he was sure they would get along. Well, once they resolved the matter at hand. He would brush the extra dust off his shoulder, and the crew would gather around the man whose face had turned pale and was struggling to pull out the sword. Since the rest of the men had been dispatched, he would pull the blade out and while Retsu was likely interrogating him, Rui was bugging him about shooting the man in the leg. This was not the ideal situation since they had a chance that the police would show up if the Akimichi's had a contingency in place.

"I don't care either way." he changed his blade into a nodachi and hold it over his shoulder. "He needs to die. Don't forget I'm still working." he wouldn't elaborate further since Rui could tell her friend later exactly what he was up to. Even still, he owed Rui so with restraint he would turn to Retsu, "If you need to interrogate him you'll need to do it fast. I need his head so get whatever information you need while you have the chance." normally he would cleave off the targets head, take a picture and then go on his way. At the very least he would stick around to make sure Rui didn't get arrested if or more likely when the cops would show up. Breaking her own was a pain.

It was a precarious position to be put in. Sho rarely let anyone who wasn't family get this close to him, let alone be carried. Kioko wasn't too happy with their arrangement but didn't fight him. Even when he picked her up, he still anticipated her to shoot all the metal into his body. She probably thought the same thing or that he would use this to take her out. Their partnership, however, being based on necessity meant that before they confronted Ifrit, they were safe primarily from each other...mostly. He wouldn't admit it, but having support to fight Ifrit was necessary, and since he couldn't call on his siblings, Kioko was the best he had.

He would remain silent as they hurled through the air. Given his cloak, there was little chance that someone would see them unless they knew what they were looking for. The trajectory from their launch was a little lower than Sho had anticipated, given the extra weight Kioko taking her mercury with her. Still, he couldn't object to it, given he had explicitly requested a foothold. They flew silently over the edge of the road and towards the water, to which he used one of his extra appendages to grab the underside of the bridge, which would swing them in that direction. "If you could, now would be a good time." if Kioko didn't create the foothold, they would likely overshoot their target and need to swing back, increasing their chance of a blown cover. Assuming she did and they could land, he would dig his heels in, gripping Kioko a bit to make sure she didn't fly from his arms as he killed the momentum to come to a complete stop. Once they arrived, he would set her down on her platform, and given their next proximity, he would take a few steps back to give her space. "Let's hope we don't need to do that again." he would stretch in preparation for their confrontation, drawing closer. "His car should be heading over the bridge shortly. What's the next step of your plan?" It was truly vexing to have to go step by step like this. None of his other bounties took longer than a quick entrance, cut, and exit. Still, it was something he would need to bear for the time being. Plus having her have to rely on him for transportation was still a pretty big bonus, he couldn't help but enjoy how humbling that must have been.
