[nospaces] [attr="class","nillyoneword1"] a little lighthouse in your soul
[attr="class","nillyitsover"]
There was something about knowing how little one could do in a situation such as this outside of being a cheer leader. If her wings hadn't been lightly damaged from the water and utilizing her quirk....maybe if she was brave enough, she would have put herself on the line further. However, being careless wasn't going to do anyone any favors...so instead, the fallen actress who was always entrapped within the deep, dark forest of her thoughts would work harder to navigate the old path to avoid getting lost any further today.
[break][break]
Whenever her gaze rest upon the water, it wasn't an escape into peace and tranquility...but instead a vast, cold grave. Using the upper set of arms to clutch at her chest...it was like gazing upon someone she knew was a cold blooded murderer. Maybe one day she could come to terms with it beyond I won't let you, carrying on to the next spot when instructed, though at least the spurts of distractions in requiring her attention and focus had a way of helping her. It wasn't perfect, but it was enough...this day would surely find a way to haunt her thoughts in the future...though some of those haunts would be dealt with directly...
[break][break]
Oh how the irony of her words were lost upon her...but at least that young man was hanging in there.
[break][break]
Everyone around her was so much brighter than she could ever dream to be, all she felt is that she was shining bright like a dying star...destined to fade into obscurity in a distant galaxy of memories. Though one who held upon her memory approached her after bravely aiding those who couldn't help themselves in a perfect storm of chaos...
[break][break]
The older woman couldn't help but quietly allow the tears to cascade down her cheeks...the mask she forced on to cope cracking and breaking. She...she helped someone...? Her? Helping someone? The same woman who left her husband to raise a child out of fear of being used thanks to the poisonous words of her mother and father...she, of all people...helped? Furrowing her brows, she wasn't sure how to respond to the young hero who...happened to be a fan of her...
[break][break]
Bowing her head as a silent, humbling way of letting him know that she acknowledged his gratitude...even if she was at a loss for words, herself, in that very moment. A solemn smile making its way across her lips as she lifted her head, carefully finding her words as she spoke to the much shorter young man. Kneeling down as she brought the second set of her arms up, resting her hands upon his shoulders with such care, much like a mother addressing a child she was proud of. Finding her words, even though they tried to run away from her...she managed to share them with Snow Fox, "I...don't meet many fans, but...but I'm glad that the first one I've met in years has a heart as brave and wonderful as your own..."
[break][break]
Taking a moment to breathe, she took care in continuing her words, "..a-and yes, that was my quirk...I..I also wish to express my thanks to you as well. You helped me find just enough bravery to make a difference today..." Gently, she brought Snow Fox into a hug...knowing that this could very well be the last time she sees any of them. Although this was a moment of crisis, she knew the moment that word got out a civilian was using their quirk...there was a good chance the law wouldn't be so kind or welcoming to her.
[break][break]
Releasing the small hero, she stood upright upon hearing Gorgon's request to double check if they missed anyone in need of rescue...she wasn't going to jeopardize these people, no. She was going to face her fears when all was said and done...approach her husband and place her fate within his hands once more. See for herself if he was truly the monster that her parents painted him out to be...
[break][break]
Offering a nod to assure her she heard the Pro-Hero's request, she brought the upper set of arms towards the fluff around her neck and the lower set against her wings, gently brushing the tips of her claws against them...little moths upon moths began fluttering off of her as they took off into the sky looking like fluttering stars as long as their bodies would hold up. All of them providing her with different views and perspectives...it was like a map painted within her mind...and for once, the little ones weren't so scared of their inevitable end...they all knew their purpose was to make sure no more lives were lost today. "Gorgon..um...it appears we've managed to rescue those in this area...I...spotted near by individuals arriving on the scene, a rescue crew. They seem to have things under control from this point." Those words were delivered calmly and thoughtfully. Even though wings were far more tattered than before, stinging ever so slightly...
[break][break]
But that was alright.
[break][break]
They were all safe and she could still move, one foot in front of the other...moment by moment.
[break][break]
Though she carefully strode towards the one who was called Surplus, carefully ripping off her sleeves before bundling them up. Crouching down, she gently lifted his head and placed the bundle of cloth underneath for an impromptu pillow, bowing her head as she spoke, "...thank you for having the strength to keep going, Surplus. You can rest now.." Standing up to her full height, she took in the sights all around her and awaited the new chapter of her life to pick up once they were in the clear.

[break][break] Followed as per Gorgon's instructions [break][break] The irony went right on over her head, there it goes...lost with the wind. [break][break] Sweet lil moment with Kupo, d'awww! [break][break] Nodded to Gorgon, then unleashed a bunch of little moths to overlook the area so she could paint out a sky view to make sure they don't miss a single person. [break][break] Goes to check on Kei afterward and makes him a pillow out of her sleeves so he can have a wee bit of a better rest. Momma moth moment fr. [break][break] A note!: Thank you folks for this thread ;v; it was an absolute treat ;o;

[attr="class","nillyitsover"]
Furrowing her brows as she listened to the spoken words asking for her help once more feel as though they were slowly, but surely suffocating her."N-nnn..." Reaching up one of her hands as though reaching for something around her neck that wasn't there, her clawed digits lightly twitching for something. A phantom feeling of a choker, necklace perhaps...
[break][break]
There was no where to run.
[break][break]
`...mom...it's okay, I wasn't meant to live forever...` A soft voice echoed gently as the little moth child shifted to stand up. "D-don't say that...please..." Whispering those words, pleading softly to the moth child, she could feel the tears slowly return as she closed her eyes and took in a deep, shaken breath.
[break][break]
`You...you know I don't have much time left...I want to help these people and I feel like you do, too...` Exhaling softly, she paced her breathing and held all four of her hands together as she felt the parting farewell nuzzle of the moth child's cheek before they fluttered into the damp, humid sky. Sharing her sights with her and ignoring every shred of pain riddling their body from the moisture and gusts surrounding them. `Mom...there's...there's something going on...someone is falling...?` "...i-is there anything we can do...?" `I think so...the nice person who helped us earlier is close, I think he can help...` Fluttering her eyes open, she released all four hands and rushed to the edge of the building, as close as she could without falling off so she could call out to the fluffy, kind hero who helped her gather courage.
[break][break]
Wincing slightly as she felt as though something was grating at her nerves non-stop from her connection with the moth child. "YOUNG ONE--SNOW FOX!" The fallen actress hadn't raised her voice in such a manner in...in years. Gesturing towards the direction where...ah...what was his name...?!
[break][break]
! ! !
[break][break]
"SURPLUS NEEDS YOU, GET THERE, NOW...!" The moth child looked around one last time before tilting their head towards the direction Snow Fox needed to go, sharing what they saw from their high vantage point with their moth mother as they drifted down from the sky. Holding out her arms, she caught the little one and their body which was struggling to merely exist, slowly breaking apart like a dandelion in the breeze. Clutching them tightly within her grasp, it was one of the few pieces in this world that reminded her that she hadn't lost the warmth of love in her heart...
[break][break]
....and it wasn't long before the little one was gone.
[break][break]
Leaving her with a lingering feeling to keep moving forward, no matter how hard it felt...that...she wasn't alone, at least not for now. Those reflective, pale lime optics glossed with tears continuing to glance over so she could respond quickly, seeing if anything needed their further attention. It...it was never easy losing her moth children...yet there was something comforting this time, almost as though this one felt truly accomplished with their moment of existence. They brought her comfort and hopefully they would inevitably pass that forward with saving those who needed it...
[break][break]
Looking at her hands as the remaining particles got taken away from her...the little moth child, their efforts wouldn't fall through...
[break][break]
...not this time.
[break][break]
"SURPLUS...HANG IN THERE, DON'T GIVE UP!" There was...something off about her encouraging tone as she called out to him. Something like someone who just endured a loss, desperately...stubbornly trying to keep themselves sturdy as a pillar, fighting that feeling as though they were cracking, breaking, crumbling and trying not to fall apart themselves. As though this breaking pillar was trying to hold the other up, seeing just how broken they were, too. That the broken pillars forcibly standing were not alone...thus, they would fight for their right to stand.

[break][break] Nilmimi is struggling to keep it together, but gets her grip again and her moth child goes to help with a higher vantage point of sight. [break][break] The moth child goes up, but due to the moisture and breeze, they don't last for very long outside of the safety of Nil's coat, yet they let her know Kei needs help. [break][break] Nil calls out to Kupo and instructs him to help where Kei is, hugs the moth child as they disintegrate, then calls out to Kei to hang in there.

[nospaces] [attr="class","nillyoneword1"] a little lighthouse in your soul
[attr="class","nillyitsover"]
The breeze danced around and about her as she gently clutched the moth child within her grasp...those reflective lime optics gazing out at what felt like an eternity.
[break][break]
One that would continue on for some once the tremendous wave would claim for itself, bringing a means to an end...
[break][break]
Each step she took along, idly using one of her free hands to rest upon the arm offered as a sense of security, her hold gentle...yet sturdy as though to remain cautious bout her own clawed digits. Oh how easy it was to get lost in it all...there were so many things out there and people she would never meet nor grow to understand. Many of which were cruel and some whom were nothing but kind...but gentle individuals who had a tenderness to the world around them were so hard to find. Kindness...people who truly cared and showed it, they were like the precious metals of society...
[break][break]
They were in a state of emergency and...
[break][break]
...she felt useless.
[break][break]
Gently, carefully, like a mother with her child...she ran her hands through the small moth child's fluff...wondering if she was doing just enough. Keeping her little one safe and staying out of the way of the Pro-Heroes around her to take care of things in ways they were trained. After all...the only thing she did was play or portray a hero in the media as a protagonist kaiju, then eventually wrote about them herself...
[break][break]
When it came to reality...
[break][break]
...that wasn't the case.
[break][break]
Part of the older moth woman felt as though they would fine her for letting this moth child who brought her a sense of comfort merely exist. At the end of the day, it was the illegal use of a quirk and these brave individuals could turn against her. Part of her felt shaken to her core that the only people she could count on right now were ones she feared for that reason. Whether or not it was true, it still was a very real fear to her, all she wanted to do was try to live and her moth children were one of the very few things that brought her a shred of happiness. They were the light of her life and it always hurt when they would inevitably leave her side...they didn't last forever.
[break][break]
Selfish...is.....that what she was...?
[break][break]
Slowly turning her gaze as a familiar, feminine voice reached out with a sense of urgency, beckoning to her as she was pulled back into the grim reality of the moment. A soft, neutral frown graced her features as her grip upon the moth child shifted, all as the little one chittered softly as though to soothe the turbulent seas of her soul...
[break][break]
The urgency to protect the life of her moth child was enough to realize they needed to act now.
[break][break]
A sharp breath leaving her as she quickly crouched down, remembering a few of the stunts where their footing was less than ideal for an action shot, trembling slightly as she fought the fear of water surrounding them as best as she could, immediately using three of her limbs to brace herself as the remaining free arm clutched tightly upon the moth child. It was enough to stop her from completely falling when the treacherous wave assaulted the building...but certainly it would get worse. This place was no longer safe...it was a death trap ticking away, awaiting the final moment it crumbled in an effort to stand. Carefully pushing herself back upon her feet, her heart began to race and the moth child chittered softly to assure that they were still safe and she was succeeding at putting forth her best effort...something she needed to acknowledge more often for herself.
[break][break]
Making an effort was better than none, there was something worth celebrating in just that.
[break][break]
Furrowing her brows upon hearing the request of Gorgon, she parted her lips and wanted to say something...but everything was caught in her throat and all she could manage was a shaken sigh. Was...was she capable of doing even that...? The heavy strokes making up this present reality began clicking once again as the horrific fate that wave still presented sunk in at the sight of who she was asked to help.
[break][break]
In a way, it was like looking into a reflection...except they were both having different ways of showing the fear of having their lives snuffed out...
[break][break]
Though it's like a soft crack formed on all the doubt weighing down upon herself...
[break][break]
The gaze of that small hero met her own and...``You can do it, Lunara!``
[break][break]
Tears cascaded down her face as she heard the old stage name she used so many years ago...
[break][break]
How did someone so young know about her...were...they a fan of the old shows, movies...?
[break][break]
There were so many more people who remembered Kamirex and her prominence as the main character, she was nothing more than a support role and hardly any of her merchandise moved on the shelves...no where near as much as Kamirex. Softly choking on the air, pushing herself off the ground as she gently cradled the moth child for a moment. The little one reminding her softly of those days children called her their hero, the times she would get in character for the sake of making them smile and watch the brightness of their souls reach their eyes full of hope.
[break][break]
Hope for a better tomorrow.
[break][break]
A belief that they can be the difference, something so fragile that she'd watch it fall apart herself while cutting herself on every piece she picked up while gluing it back together. Something she could repair for others, but rarely ever herself...after all...it crumbled so soon after. The accomplishment felt like it never lasted forever, but the moth child's soft chitters assured her that those moments, no matter how short, were still important. Glancing back towards Gorgon and then towards the mother and child...she had to fight her own fears...she...she had to.
[break][break]
Offering a solemn nod, silently acknowledging the severity of it all...
[break][break]
Moving the moth child up behind her neck, it curled up against her neck beneath the hood as she grit her teeth while taking a sharp inhale of the salty air all around them. With all four of her arms free, she whispered softly to the moth child, "Hang on tight, my little love..." The soft moth child nodded by nuzzling her cheek and used all of its legs to tighten its grip. Taking another couple of breaths, she watched those around her...especially the little arctic fox boy display their courage and bravery in their own ways. Training her mind to get into character...it was the easiest way to cope right now, think of it as a movie set...think of it just like that.
[break][break]
Moving one foot in front of the other, her wings lightly spread out to aid with the balance....bits of water droplets splashing and causing a stinging sensation to trickle throughout her nerves. Keep it together, keep it in character, she made her way across with care, then held out her hands...her voice was no longer soft. No, there was something more pronounced about it as she tricked her mind to take up the mantle of Lunara once more...or at least the spirit of that kaiju that was written to be courageous, "Come, we're going to live to see many moments beyond this one." Gently, she took their hands, guiding them along as the moth child nestled around her neck beneath her hood chittered softly with a purr as though to mimic a cat calming those they care for.
[break][break]
Although the mother was freaking out, it was a side of herself she despised shining through that woman...so she tightened her grip to keep her moving forward. The little one who accompanied their mother whimpered while looking at the moth-like woman and began focusing on the fluffy, cat sized moth child. "You're so brave, little one." Saying those words in a motherly tone to the child that wasn't her own...part of her wondered how her own child was...but she did what she could to ground herself in the moment of these motions. Thankfully, she was a bit stronger than the average person so she could keep her grip while lightly tugging the mother along to keep her moving. "We're almost there, eyes ahead...focus on me."
[break][break]
Once she and the two fellow civilians managed to make their way, keeping her grip firm to make sure the mother and her child's balance were fixed before they could slip. Getting them across, she stood beside the pair acting as a guardian of sorts. One set of arms dedicated to holding their hands and the other set resting over their shoulders, the mother seemed to struggle to get a grip on herself and...honestly...unfortunately relatable. Right now, everything she was doing to keep it together felt like it was being held together by sturdy glue.
[break][break]
Softly sighing, she noticed something...like...Gorgon was exhausted...tired...? It reminded her of how she felt after pushing herself relentlessly through a performance for the sake of schedules being kept in motion. "Will you be alright...?" Thoughtfully letting those words escape her, she...couldn't help but wonder if many people stopped to ask the pillars society called Pro-Heroes were doing okay. Everyone painted them out to be such invincible beings...but when she wrote them in her stories, she tried to get the audience to empathize that they were only human...hoping to reach their hearts that these individuals maintain their humanity. Maybe it's because she was married to a Pro-Hero, though her mother and father insisted he was out to use her for monetary gain...so she separated from Saturn out of fear that they were right. However, he always showed a sense of love and care, moments of weakness at home from the fear of what if I fail those who look to me to protect them...he....that was something she felt was real.
[break][break]
Something real that other Pro-Heroes must have had to endure, such a burden that many quietly carried...

[break][break] Went on autopilot and checked out psychologically to cope with the moment and make it along. [break][break] Crouches down and braces the ground to avoid a hard fall, thanks movie stunts! [break][break] More psychological struggles, genuinely feels like she's looking into a mirror when seeing the mother and child. [break][break] Snaps out of it and has a nostalgic trip over Kupo's calling out to her after Gorgon asked for her help. [break][break] Nods and then gets her shit together, more or less. [break][break] Moth Child is being like a cat and now nestled behind her neck, using all four arms to manage the mother and child to get them across the bridge. Spread her wings to aid with balance, got burned by the bits of water splashing about, but powers through it like a champ due to forcing herself to keep in the character of Lunara, or at least the spirit of it to further cope. Though she feels like that could fall apart. [break][break] Checks on Gorgon to make sure she's doing alright since she sees the signs of exhaustion showing.

[attr="class","nillyitsover"]
What if this moth child in her arms died and it was all her fault...?
[break][break]
Water was always one of the most terrifying things and the last thing she wanted was to be out here in such horrid conditions...yet here she was. All because she kept reaching and clawing for inspiration to keep herself going these days. Which...maybe if she was completely honest with her therapist about what got her out of the house these days, they'd say it probably wasn't best for her mental health in the long run....
[break][break]
The sound of the young hero's voice rang out once more, reaching out to her as though trying to shine a light within the labyrinth she so often found herself lost in. To her, his voice was soft like an echo in a distant hallway that got closer and closer. Slowly fluttering those lime lashes as paced her breathing, ever so slightly tightening her grip as though to quietly let him know I'm still here, wondering if the promise of keeping them safe was true or a thoughtful falsehood to offer solace and peace.
[break][break]
There was only one way to find out, wasn't there...
[break][break]
Trusting people, even on a surface level was always terrifying...especially since it usually took her on a journey to heart break or simply being broken. Tightening her grasp upon his hand and the moth child in her grasp, the actress who fell from glory many years ago checked right back in and her full focus was now in tact. Responding quietly by making eye contact with the fluffy young hero and nodding, letting him know she understood the instructions laid out before her.
[break][break]
It...had to be done.
[break][break]
The tall moth woman's grip tightened more with one last firm nod, trying her best to read his body language...which...as much as this whole situation shook her to the core of her very being, it was a reminder that she wasn't someone who could use their quirk to benefit much of anyone out there. Though still yet, she followed the instructions provided and focused intently on the fluffy hero. Once they landed, she tried her best to get her footing and furrowed her brows ever so slightly, the comforting gesture of his tail against her assured that he was trying to keep her safe. Something...she could genuinely trust since he was keeping his word thus far...
[break][break]
...that singular thread woven together from words to actions was strong enough to trust this Gorgon stranger.
[break][break]
Enough to let go of the little hero and rush up the steps...hoping he would truly be okay in those treacherous waters...
[break][break]
Glancing over her shoulder, she muttered a soft, "Th--" but was cut off by witnessing the waters claim the little hero and her eyes shot wide open, beginning to shake gently as tears began to roll down her cheeks. A simple saving grace was that of the Pro-Hero she was entrusted to...Gorgon. It looked as though she was in the process of saving him and although the rare urge to run down and try to help was there...that quickly burnt out when she reminded herself that the water will kill the moth child in her arms, possibly herself and the boy's efforts would have been all for naught.
[break][break]
Gently biting her lower lip, she turned and moved as quickly as she could, muttering softly to herself like a mantra, "..h-he will be okay. He will be okay. He will be okay..." Each step was a quick pace as the moth child chittered softly, sparing a glance downward before pressing on...
[break][break]
The moth child didn't mind the embrace of death if it meant saving someone...but she didn't know how to swim thanks to her fear of large masses of water.
[break][break]
Simply existing here was already a battle in of itself, so this was taking a lot more focus than going from each motion day to day. Though just being here, making it to each moment in an environment that didn't do her mental health any favors...that was a feat in of itself. When she made her way to the top, she looked down at Gorgon down below...the way these came out of her body were almost like extra appendages. Quickly looking up and down the stair case she was provided, she didn't see anyone on it in that moment.
[break][break]
Their focus must have been in many places at once right now seeing how that Pro-Hero's quirk was multi-tasking above and beyond right now. So the moth woman crouched down and gently pat the staircase as a quiet sign that she'd gotten across safely. From up here, it was a good vantage point...her gaze darted around and the moth child within her grasp peered between her cloak, like a second set of eyes.
[break][break]
The pair looking in opposite directions to get a much better view as a whole of their situation...
ulla [newclass=.nillyitsover b]color:#62a181[/newclass] [newclass=.nillyoneword1]transition:1s;overflow:hidden;height:200px;width:450px;[/newclass] [newclass=.nillyoneword1:hover .nillyfromyou1]transition:1s;margin-top:0px;[/newclass] [newclass=.nillyfromyou1]background-color:#2f2f2f;opacity:.8;font-family:arial;font-size:10px;color:#fff;padding:10px;margin-top:250px;width:150px;transition:1s;[/newclass] [newclass=.nillyfromyou1 a]font-family:courier new;text-transform:uppercase;color:#a366b6;letter-spacing:1px;[/newclass] TLDR TIME!
[break][break]
Yay! Kupo is successful in helping Nilmimi, good job!
[break][break]
Psychologically, she's just sorta trying to keep a grip on things...yet her fear of water stopped her from trying to help further.
[break][break]
Trusted in both Gorgon and Kupo, continued her venture to the top of the building.
[break][break]
Nilmimi noticed that Gorgon's quirk reminded her of extra appendages and decided to lightly pat it as a silent sign that she got to safety off of that particular stair case.
[break][break]
Nilmimi and her moth child are looking around to keep an eye out on things from up top!

[nospaces] [attr="class","nillyoneword1"] a little lighthouse in your soul
[attr="class","nillyitsover"]
In a way, she couldn't help but be thankful for her height as she kept her little moth child away from the dangers of the waters. The tall woman couldn't help but feel powerless since it wasn't as though her wings could lift her into the sky, learning how to fly was a terrifying thought as a child. This whole situation was starting to feel as though all of her fears decided to creep out of the shadows, all to remind her of how there wasn't a damn thing she could do...
[break][break]
...build a bridge and get over it, those are cold words she was told many times in her life.
[break][break]
One couldn't simply erase years of trauma over night.
[break][break]
The sheer amount of anxiety was making it hard to breathe as her mind continued to drown in a sea of doubt.
[break][break]
Resting her cheek against the moth child she brought into this world through her quirk, she closed her eyes and listened to their soft purrs. They felt calming...calming enough to neglect the terrors around her in that moment. Trying to pace her breathing, she fought against the tears and tried to take in every shred of comfort that she could from the moth child as though they were silently sharing a soft lullaby with one another.
[break][break]
Still, she was visibly shaking and living in fear...
[break][break]
...yet it still wasn't as horrible, just by a little.
[break][break]
Though the sloshes got louder and her pale lashes fluttered open and...someone was approaching them?
[break][break]
The announcement of everyone needing to remain calm, evacuate, seek high ground while somehow remaining orderly...that was like asking to no longer have any financial burdens. An impossible request as the situation worsened, glancing towards the little one approaching her...she...she really wasn't sure what the hero student could do. Yet, she needed to protect the moth child in her arms as well as herself. There was no real option but to let the little one try to help, especially since there wasn't much she could personally think of doing herself to improve the situation.
[break][break]
All too many horrific memories of her moth children dying from a simple splash of water haunted her thoughts, sometimes even twisting dreams into nightmares. Offering a couple nods in desperation, despite her skepticism, she had to focus on this tiny, fluffy hero. "P..Please." Saying those words in a near whisper, yet she hoped it was loud enough to be heard by the little hero. The moth child's wings shuddered as it began to chitter in a panic, which caused her attention to drift over her shoulder and see the oncoming wave...
[break][break]
...was this how it all fell apart?
[break][break]
...no...no...it couldn't be, she made a promise that they would both survive...!
[break][break]
If the little fluffy hero were to guide her, she would do her best to follow him in whatever direction he felt would lead to safety. After all, she was pretty sure he saw her moth child and wasn't giving her grief for it....or maybe he didn't...? There were many uncertainties rolling about in her mind, but she supposed if there was trouble for her...she would figure it out when they were all safe. Well...if she managed to survive, at least she was sure that this would spark inspiration for her visual novel. There were very few sparks of optimism in her life, so she would honestly grasp on to what she could and nurture that dying flame in her soul.
[break][break]
The others who seemed like heroic sorts, at the very least, seemed to be doing their best...so maybe...things would be okay in this dark tunnel of a situation.

[break][break] -Nilmimi took a moment to calm down a little bit, but that didn't last long at all [break][break] -Nilmimi's acknowledging Kupo since he approached her, although she's really spooked, she will follow Kupo's lead! ActiveNone! CompleteThe Dew (Elementals Event)Encounters: Kei Hada, Yanai Hebiru, Taka Yasashi, Kupo The Takeaway: Out and about, poking her nose around amidst the chaos to garner inspiration for her stories ended up being more than she anticipated. Fighting her fears through acting to make it through while facing that perpetual turmoil within her, she found strength in those around her. Playing the role of a Pro-Hero in her own way, assisting when asked and going through the motions of fear, the light at the end of the tunnel was vibrant enough to keep her from losing her way. Planning to turn herself in to her husband, Saturn, she enjoys the moments of calm they earned as she waits for her time to face the music so that those she was allied with won't have consequences. Fully acknowledging that what she did was vigilantism to some capacity, her fate will rest in her husband's capable hands. Though she is very grateful for those she met and got to know in such a short time, it warmed her heart greatly to meet a young fan and hopes to see him again soon, wishing him nothing but the very best in his path of becoming a proper Pro-Hero. Life holds a prism within and it's beautiful. Status UnknownNone Yet!

[nospaces] [attr="class","nillyoneword1"] a little lighthouse in your soul
[attr="class","nillyitsover"]
Life had been...
[break][break]
...frantic and terrifying, to put it simply.
[break][break]
Running, running and hiding was a cocoon of familiarity...
[break][break]
When would she truly break the confines of fear and truly live her life?
[break][break]
It felt like that day would never come....
[break][break]
Maybe those feelings were right.
[break][break]
...or maybe such feelings were wrong.
[break][break]
Clutching onto a fluffy moth that softly chittered, nuzzling into her chest as she frantically ran with tears rolling down her cheeks, "I...I won't let you die, I promise...I...I promise...w-we will--a-ah..!" Shaking violently as she quickly stopped, the washed up actress saw that there was a great deal of water as far as her eyes could see. Feeling the moth's legs clamber to get a better grip upon their mother, she...she didn't know where to go or what to do. All of this was such a terrible idea to come out into the world and see what was stirring such a commotion....all in the name of inspiration.
[break][break]
Each breath felt like nothing more than a struggle, as though she was trapped in a dense forest with thick fog and even thinner air. Furrowing her brows as those vibrant optic encased in shadowy sclera darted around in sheer panic. Normally, she would quietly stay in the shadows and observe from afar with the help of her moth children, but today was hardly normal. The news reports playing at a restaurant drove her out were all about a case that was...unnerving, to say the least, so much so that she wanted to sleuth threads and strings attached to it.
[break][break]
Perhaps it would have inspired her for a new chapter of her visual novel...well even more than it already did.
[break][break]
...but it looked like curiosity may very well kill the cat, or moth, in this case.
[break][break]
There were people up ahead, individuals that seemed...to be helping others...?
[break][break]
....none of them sparked so much as a shred of her fog ridden memories, there was nothing but fear gripping her heart as though the options were...er...well...not to her liking. The loudest one of the bunch seemed to be associated with the school and called out to someone who went by Gorgon. Well...she could safely assume they were most likely Pro Heroes, looking down at the moth within her tender hold...she could feel it was urging her to take a risk and approach them. They could very well get in serious trouble for unauthorized quirk usage or some such nonsense, but it wasn't worth sacrificing themselves.
[break][break]
Trying to get a grip upon herself, she covered the cat-sized moth in the safety of her cloak further and rushed to the group of seemingly competent heroes. Parting her lips to speak...she...she just couldn't get out a single sound from her mouth. Simply a raspy, terrified chitter...it was all she could manage. Biting her lower lip, her eyes darted around on high alert, trying to keep the concealed moth child of hers from getting so much as a single droplet of water.
[break][break]
...perhaps...if they could survive this, they could find that spark to create a tale spun of this day's events...
[break][break]
Between these three individuals around them so far...they might see tomorrow.

OH NYO!
This is under construction!
Things to come in case y'all want bullet points gists!
1) Volunteers for being inspiration in Nilmimi's creative works.
2) Who remembers that one obscure Kaiju series and that one moth who had a recurring role? Yeah that one!
3) Ambulance chasing, but instead it's snooping in on villains and criminals doing their shenanigans and a vigilante or hero ALSO going about their shenanigans to intervene!
4) Try to get more than just chitters, gestures and tears because goodness the world is beautifully terrifying.
5) aaaand more? Yes, probably!

Nilmimi was once an actress and played the role of Lunara who was far more bold and brave than she could ever be in real life. In a way, she was relieved when her career to an end, it meant she could stop dealing with so many people and take a breath to find herself and who she was. Turns out she was just incredibly withdrawn and very shy with no interest in really bothering with people outside of friends and family, unless circumstances require her to interact with other people. A rather nervous woman who tends to tread carefully, though she tends to step out of her own comfort zone when it comes the her games and comics. So when she needs to get inspiration? She'll force herself to be out and about in places that she would normally avoid like the plague, she loves her projects and wants them to flourish since they seem to bring joy to others. Offering gifts to others when they show a sense of kindness or hospitality for her, she likes treating those who treat her well to pay it forward. Admittedly, she struggles to talk with new people and prefers not to speak much when possible. [attr="class","body"] [attr="class","header2"]APPEARANCE » HEIGHT: 8'0" (both forms) » WEIGHT: 225 lbs » EYE COLOR: A reflective moonlight lime encased by black sclera » HAIR COLOR: A light, fluffy mint green with accents of brown » SKIN COLOR: Milk chocolate-y with cream accents » FACE CLAIM NAME: Nilmimi (Design by me)/Soft Moth (Design by PKingSora) » FACE CLAIM SERIES: OC (Art done by different folks!) With an anatomy similar to a moth and rather insect-like in nature, her body is coated with soft fibers and where there should be normal-people skin it's more along the lines being a little more firm. There are many little, soft scales on her body which seems more like a powder like a moth's. In her more humanoid looking form, she has sharper teeth and her further mutated form has flatter teeth. Both forms have hair-like fluff that's a minty color with accents of cream. Though her hands are a little more dusty in her other form with cream accents. Another interesting note is her antennae, the color of milk chocolate brown and mint are in reverse for each form. 1 . 2 . 3[attr="class","body"] [attr="class","header2"]HISTORY OOC NOTE: The spoiled section is hiding topics of familial abuse going from psychological to physical. The themes of psychological abuse were left unspoiled, but still! Tread carefully if any of those topics seem uncomfortable! Also! I've got consent from Saturn and Quizzy to include their characters 'u' ! Teruko app can be seen here, Saturn app right on over here! Being someone with an appearance such as Nilmimi's made it a little challenging to have a normal childhood. That's why her parents leapt to the opportunity to have her be part of films involving kaijus as soon as the young girl was scouted. There was at the very least some use for this strange child they found themselves stuck with. For you see, they didn't want to deal with her at first, she was truly nothing more than a thorn in their sides. Constantly having to get her special food to suit their diet over this thing called a quirk that the medical field were constantly trying to advance and further their understanding of. Growing up in such a strange time, she was kept hidden away from society for most of her life...that's why it was such a godsend for someone from the film industry to take this child off their hands. Well, that and while they took the reigns in caring for her, they could easily make money off of her. The child didn't understand all the legal formalities as her parents saw the young girl as an easy ticket to a comfortable life. They'd garner all the royalties for her work, it was a no brainer in their book. Of course, she was incredibly timid and struggled in social situations to the point of becoming non-verbal more often than not, easing into gestures and murmuring softly. Taking comfort in the moths that manifested from her quirk, they were her source of comfort through difficult times...they were always there and she knew beyond reasonable doubt that her moths truly loved her. Deep down, she knew that her parents hadn't any love in their heart for her...but she'd lie to herself enough to believe there was a piece of them that cared for her...somewhere. That all of this was for her own good, she gaslit herself into believing that everything they did was for the better, all to cope with a cold reality. As for her life as an actress under the astounding role of Lunara in various kaiju films... ...the girl still struggled to get into character, it was difficult trying to put up a strong front, be brave and even anything remotely close to bold. During this time, she met someone who was her age by the name of Teruko whom brought out the character so much that Nilmimi was convinced she was the embodiment of the character! Terrifying... ...it was terrifying and shook her to the the core to the point where she broke down, thinking that Teruko wasn't just in character, but harbored genuine anger and hatred within her heart. That's how she got to really know that this person was one of the few people who genuinely cared about her in this scary world. Teruko had a way of making her feel safe, taking time to assure her that she was never mad at her, even when her fears that would suffocate the timid girl in a sea of tears. Things were starting to feel right in her life and getting into character for Lunara wasn't as difficult to help the show go on. Though parts of her memory began to feel more and more spotty, here and there after an incident that took place while visiting her parents. After falling into a pit of turmoil and anxiety from seeing her moths melt away while feeling their suffering, melting in agony and despair over her mother accidentally spilled a cup of juice in a fit of frustration...Nilmimi panicked. How to save this little moth, how to protect it in a moment when she felt so powerless to do anything at all. Slipping and falling, she hit the back of her head and unknown to her, the young lady's body mutated further...when she came to, it's like she hadn't a clue what happened...save for the sorrow weighing heavily on her heart from something. With her parents taking advantage of this...they decided to see what would happen if a bit of trauma to the back of her head would change her back again.
Lulling their daughter into a false sense of security, they engulfed her in a web of lies that they always loved her and they'd take good care of her. All they had to do was trust her. Being left with her father as her mother apologized before stepping away to get her favorite fruits and juice, her carried on in feeding her lie after lie while holding her in his arms. Part of him felt guilty for a fleeting moment as he pieced together what his wife was going to do to their child. She knew that damaging and breaking her daughter would mean their lifelong meal ticket would be gone, so she swiftly hit the back of that unsuspecting girl's head with an apple wrapped within a towel. Low and behold, her body shifted back to that all familiar form once more.
....all her parents could think is this would make her all the more valuable. To her, she was starting to feel like maybe they cared more than they ever let on since after that visit, it was as though they really bonded. After all, her parents were showing up to help her prepare for filming which was nice since this was the most time they ever spent with her. Although things felt fuzzier in her memories, all that mattered is she was finally doing things right in her life. Although things started to waiver as a strong push for quirker rights emerged...she wasn't brave enough to join the protest like Teruko did. So she gradually became withdrawn, questioning whether or not she really had a place in the film industry, interacting with a puppet to be edited over with CGI in place of Teruko. It all felt so strange... ...so wrong. Silently and quietly, she finally gathered the courage to leave and was also replaced by CGI and didn't bother fighting for much royalties in her adult hood. Knowing how happy her parents were with their lavish life style...maybe it was better to let them have it. Finding her way, she found other hobbies in the realm of art and found joy in graphic novels where the characters had multiple happy endings. Getting more invested, she worked hard to become a mangaka and then making visual novel renditions online to download. Whenever she struggled to find inspiration, she would actively go out of her way to seek it out herself, her stories falling under the realm of romance in the mix of vigilantes facing off against villains. When heroes emerged, she would chase after their woes for inspiration as well to fuel her stories. Change the likenesses and personalities enough and no one would know, right...? Through all this, that's how she not only reunited with Teruko, but encountered a sandy hero by the name of Saturn who somehow got into her inspiration routes and included him as Mr. Sandman. He even went so far as to saving her moths who would do their best to help her scout things out! Gradually, she found herself growing fond for him in a way that was similar...yet different from Teruko. It almost seemed like her moths were attracted to his situations and they'd stumble upon each other more and more, even... gasp getting her to have small little talks! Golly and then even exchanging numbers to meet under... normal circumstances! That wasn't normal for her, but normal for the stories she'd write and... ...it was all so strange in the best way, even if things interrupted which only fueled her inspiration and got included in her stories. Finding herself growing more and more fond of him...she'd go to visit Teruko for advice and then found the courage to ask for Saturn's hand in marriage in the most panic ridden way. Though she was too scared to tell her parents since part of her was worried they wouldn't be supportive and kept her last name...even when she ended up having a child with her husband. A surprise visit from her parents who hadn't bothered with her in years ripped her marriage apart in what felt like the blink of an eye, they ripped her down and it broke her once again. They couldn't risk someone inspiring her to take back her right to the royalties she deserved...her parents made her believe that her relationship was nothing more than an effort to use her since he'd clearly want an heir to his heroic throne. Framing it as though her purpose was fulfilled in Saturn's eyes, consoling her as she consumed their lies and nestled away in the company of their comfort. Nilmimi was heart broken to put it lightly since in her broken mind, it made sense. Giving Yohannes to Saturn, she couldn't risk her parents finding out that they were married due to how they'd simply have more fuel to you're definitely being used and hadn't even bothered with a divorce to remain under the radar. All she could do was softly apologize before gradually disappearing from his life, they were separated. Responses were sporadic, especially when she had to help take care of her parents for two years, but she decided it was about time to separate herself from a family that was never meant to be when he stopped responding to her final letter a few years ago. Yet she kept everything that came her way from the business address she had set up. To help her move forward, she changed her pen name from Lunara to Shinobu, letting people think it was a completely different person taking over her manga and visual novels since she was trying to find the strength to move forward. This was cemented further when Nilmimi stopped doing any events and didn't bother fighting the rumors or speculations tied to her disappearing. This was an attempt at a new, hopeful start to a brighter future for herself...trying to move forward with her life. Nilmimi continued moving from place to place, occasionally working with Teruko at her establishment under different names for extra money when times were rough...even if working with people terrified her and she wasn't the best waitress. Still, she continues seeking out inspiration with the help of her little moth children to this day. They communicate in different pitched squeaks that she understands), a key thing is being aware of the individual moth's feelings & thoughts as small extensions of herself...which means she can tell if they're suffering. Nilmimi cares so much about these moths, it will never stop breaking her heart when they get hurt or essentially die, it's always like losing a loved one. Getting hit on the back of her head normally knocks her out while her body mutates further, being awake during this process can cause further trauma since it's a 50/50 of damaging her memory further or recalling what happened. Water or any liquids can cause the scale-y powder to melt away, her moths are made of the stuff so it will cause them to melt away, too. Like a moth to the flame is very literal, her quirk made her moth-like physically in terms of anatomy (diet included) and being drawn to light. Fire is dangerous for her since it's outright mesmerizing and she may not snap out of it right away. When it comes to her body, it isn't as durable as a quirkless human's and she will need more specialized medical attention. Although flight remains uncharted waters out of fear and may change one day, strong winds will make it difficult to fly properly for her. Now her moths, although little extensions of herself, tend to fly more often than not and face these challenges. If the winds are INCREDIBLY strong, the moths made of her quirk can get ripped apart since they're essentially scales formed together to make moths. PLEASE NOTE: Nilmimi is capable of making little moths that can act as little spies (Think security cameras, but the audio is muffled and they have a much easier time telling her about what they saw when she picks them up. Although she has a hivemind with her moths, they may share what they see, but she goes off of their inner monologue commentary in the moment. Not something she always has tuned into 100%, so it's likely she'll miss certain things.) that can give her information, however! There will ALWAYS be consent/permission when it comes to any knowledge pertaining to player characters & important lore NPCs. Nilmimi will never have information like secret identities or delicate information to someone's character UNLESS they specifically and explicitly tell me that's something they want and I would need specifics to make sure we're on the same page. So let's say there's a thread a moth saw someone take off their mask and reveal their identity (scandalous, I know!), if a player didn't want that information to be passed on to Nilmimi, either the moth would pass away before passing on the info or something more light hearted like not remembering. Either way, I'd come up with something to cut out why some details aren't translated to Nilmimi. Consent will ALWAYS be a priority to me.
