Sure, it was definitely a trap, and that was EXACTLY why he wanted to check it out in person. He didn't have a secret identity and wasn't afraid of getting his hands dirty with this, sure to become a bloodbath if it was fake, as he initially thought. The higher-ups in his group tried to talk him out of going, but he was quick to remind them that he had been apart of things like this before and usually, the criminals who survived were easier to recruit to their cause. Even if they hadn't ultimately relented...well he was going anyway.
Stifling a yawn in the crowd he listened to Nimue explain what they were here for. 'Blah Blah Blah' he thought to himself. instead of paying attention, he would scan the crowd for anyone interesting or at least someone he was familiar with that was worth a damn. It was a pretty poor turnout as most of those here were fodder, but the small girl with horns at least was entertaining. Her speech held an ounce of truth and a truckload of delusion, which either meant crazy or confident. Either way, at least it was something.
"Oh you~!" he'd waved her down as he approached, looking down at the much smaller girl. "If you kill people, you must be pretty good! Especially compared to the rest of this group~" he'd bent down so he was at her level, and with a sickeningly sweet tone, he added, "So if you had to fight everyone here, right now, how many people could you kill? Don't be shy now~"

He didn't want to overextend, but at the same time he was very curious to see how it worked in combat and whether Chernobog was really set on sticking with his organization. There would be time for a takeover later but collecting "allies" in the interim was a no brainer especially if they had unique or powerful quirks like his own. "Puh-lease! You're gonna be hard-pressed to offend me." Ravi laughed the notion off as he turned to head back down the way they came. "I'm a babysitter for this assignment so unfortunately, I need to follow you two~" he shrugged his shoulders and sighed. "I'd rather read but I gotta do my job~" Another lie as he was simply told to remain on site, not that he needed to get involved. Chernobog changed that as he had expected another grunt who would die to a light breeze.
The Lion was scared. He had expected backup to follow him quickly but from a glance back he could see that Indra was taking his sweet time coming down from the building. The heavy footsteps made him break out into a cold sweat as he wasn't fully certain in his own abilities. Hell, the reason he made it this far was because of his other ability of his quirk. Based on the feeling he had in his gut, it looked like he would need to use that.

Not only was that one of the dumbest quirks he'd ever heard of, but they thought that THIS guy was the best partner for the other guy. Even with his features obscured, Ravindra could almost feel the disdain for The Lion as it lingered in the air. Who wouldn't? He was clearly in over his head.
What did interest him was the display of the quirk. The power of destruction was indeed very useful and in a split second Ravi went from wanting to lounge on the rooftop to his feet. He wouldn't contribute but under the guise of 'supervision' he was interested to see what Chernobog was all about. The Lion would give a glance back to Ravi who would wave his hands and gesture back to Chernobog "Hey, remember you're the one who wanted to do this; be brave! You got this!" he gave the world's flimsiest pep talk.
The Lion, as apprehensive as possible, did what he was told not wanting to piss off Indra more than this new guy. He had heard of what happened to the last person who did that and...well lets just say he wasn't willing to take his chances. Clearly, it was safer down there. With surprising agility he activated his quirk and scaled down the building using the opportunity provided by Chernobog to walk in the front door. "Time to pay your dues!" he'd say baring his teeth which were also slightly feline in nature.
Indra would scan the area and look for any movement as he spoke to Chernobog without looking at him. "And you? I think he's a teeny tiny bit more competent than you think. He got this far in our group after all~" he'd flash a smile and give a cheery thumbs up. "Well, good luck! I'll be cheering you on!"

There was a clear disdain for the inexperienced partner he was assigned and this greatly amused him. Either someone was fucking with this guy or this was karma at work. Either way Ravindra was a supervisor after all, and unlike a lot of the other members of 'The Deep' he wasn't going to get involved more than he had to.
"I can morph my hands into lion paws..." he trailed off a bit as Ravindra couldn't help but laugh. "That's why you got designated as The Lion? That's too funny~" he'd go back to being an observer adding a quick "My abilities are irrelevant for this, I'm here as a supervisor and nothing more." he'd lean back into a comfortable position as he waited to hear what kind of plan they'd come up with.
The Lion was becoming progressively more nervous as time went on, gradually realizing he was underprepared for this assignment. He kept trying to sneak glances at Ravi for reassurance and when they made eye contact, he was given a wink. Was it mocking? Did he have a plan? There wasn't much else to be said. "And you? What are you able to do?" he'd ask Chernobog sheepishly, hoping that they'd be able to get along. Ravi on the other hand, snuck a glance over the side of the building, seeing the slightest hint of movement on the second floor. "oho! You two better think fast; it looks like the guy is on the move. Maybe he spotted us? Super exciting~!" This one was clear as day that he was taking the piss of the situation. After all, failure or not, it wasn't his ass on the line.

We're a few minutes out. Any pointers?" The lion, aka. Felix Gertrudeson chirped in the direction of Ravi, who was comfortably lounging in the opposite seat of the car they were riding in. Ravi was here for support and oversight since it was under his jurisdiction within The Deep, which meant training recruits and managing their assignments. Not looking up from his phone, he quipped back, "I'm listening, I'm listening~ It's not that hard trust me. You go in there, puff out your chest, and maybe avoid some bullets." he'd click his phone shut having sent out the information that he requested to another member of The Deep. "Don't sweat it too much~! Worst comes to worst, and you get hurt. I'll carry you out of there, don't you worry!" he said with a sickeningly sweet tone and an ear-to-ear grin. The Lion gulped in response as subtly as possible, having known that Shinja was a bit of a heretic within The Deep. His rate of casualties for assignments on both sides was double any other member, so he doubted he actually meant what he said. Even still, as his superior, he had no choice but to go along with this. Promotion was on the line, after all!
The meeting place wasn't anything too unusual. A high vantage point was always standard for these types of things and the two of them would make their way up the stairs to the rooftop with The Lion in the lead and Shinja trailing close behind. Ravindra honestly didn't have any desire to be here or to babysit BUT he was interested in seeing who those adjacent to the higher-ups had sent out to do this job. The Lion cleared his throat to make himself known "I'm your partner for today! The Lion." an awkward silence would follow this as Ravindra missed his cue "Oh! Sorry, sorry! Shinja or Indra, it doesn't really matter. I'm just here to observe, mostly~" another lie followed by a big smile as he took a seat next to the two of them, resting his Shakujo against his shoulder and giving a big yawn. Hopefully, whatever they got into would resolve itself quickly or at least be engaging enough that it didn't put him to sleep.

Ravindra is one of the most morally bankrupt people you could ever imagine. He’s a villain whose politeness is an act that only serves to enhance the venom he spews. Unlike others, whose niceness is genuine despite their malice, Ravindra has adopted this pleasant persona yet is still genuinely irredeemably cruel. He lacks a villainous demeanor, yet he is truly, wholly, and unrepentantly evil regardless. Don’t get it twisted Ravindra is not chaotic; instead, just calculating in nature. Even if he is not actively planning on harming someone or committing a heinous act, it is never truly off the table. The only people who are truly able to garner even an ounce of genuine respect and care from him are those who are honest about who they are and what they want out of life. Everyone else is pure trash in his eyes, not even worth putting them out of their misery. He is completely unshakeable in the face of danger and unafraid to get his hands dirty when it comes down to it; he is rarely the aggressor, usually taunting those into making the first move as to not ‘cast the first stone’ which generally ends up with those who fall for it losing their cool and their head in the process. He masks this nonaggression by playing up his religious, cultlike organization as if it is the will of others when, in reality, he doesn’t follow any sort of code but his own. At heart, Ravindra is utterly soulless, but he masks it with a pleasant, polite, "normal" attitude; perhaps its because he has social standards to live up to or because his pleasantness reflects their sheer enjoyment of evil. Either way, to avoid his malice is not as difficult as it seems; just don’t try to interfere with his plans or attack him. A villain without pride or ego is truly dangerous combination. In essence, it is the power of the revolution where celestial bodies go around in an orbit or elliptical course but on a smaller scale. Ravindra can assign objects he can touch or himself with an orbit which manifests a thin silver wisp around the target. The orbital aura gets more visible the larger the circumference is, with this visibility being maxed out at the maximum range possible. Ravindra directly controls this orbital force, and he can increase or reduce it at will, with the maximum pull he can produce equal to the strength of the rank of his quirk. This force revolves around whatever Ravindra has assigned as the ‘planet.’ Currently, he can create at least three rings in total simultaneously. He also has the freedom to switch the rotational direction of his orbit whenever it's needed and can have each ring's rotation go in opposing directions. By using this orbit, Ravindra can do things such as create spiraling shields either out of debris of centrifugal force, create a vacuum by rotating objects fast enough to pull the air out of a small area, hurl items by capturing them in the pull of his orbit and then releasing them at the right angle, induce explosions by overlapping objects of the same density and size on different trajectories that overlap, or even manipulate his position in space by pulling himself into the orbit of whatever thing it is assigned to. [REPLACES STRENGTH]It should also be noted that orbits move with the attached object, whether that's a fixed object or something that can move freely or otherwise. However, the ability to shrink or expand his orbit can only be done with things he had direct contact with; once they leave his grasp, they default to whatever state they were in from the last adjustment. QUIRK DRAWBACKS: The orbital fields can be penetrated with enough force. Someone significantly strong enough could resist or outright ignore the push/pull forces. Additionally, the revolutions of orbit can change angle or location, but there are only two possible directions the person or object can go. This makes the trajectory rather predictable for those astute enough to realize it.
