Even though Kuroda's youth and appearance might suggest otherwise the boy seems to be a natural combat genius. Add that to the fact that he's had years of experience in the streets with various gang related activities and almost constant fighting and you'd understand just how honed the boy's fighting senses and instincts are. Even at the first glance of Marvel's appearance, before even the first flash of light fully zipped by Kuroda was already in motion, mid jump and simoltaneously pressed a button on his bracelet remote. A button made to summon his glider to his location, the glider that was already prepared and propped up on the shortest building next to where the villain attack happened.

The machine descends silently down towards the streets and the boy who summoned it. Kuroda jumps and lands perfectly on his glider that takes him up. As the villain ascends on his mechanical contraption two ceramic balls fall from the figure towards Marvel, no doubt both charged with the energy of his quirk and turned into deadly explosives. Though the smoothness and grace of this almost coordinated attack could be found quite impressive it's only half the story. As the two explosives descend their goal isn't to successfully hit but rather to gain the hero's attention... while two other ceramic balls roll over towards Marvel's feet. Two balls that Kuroda discretly let roll from his hands while he was performing the jump onto his glider.

''It's OVERKILL for you!'' He shouts with a malicious smile, refferring to the hero using his real name, as he detonates his bombs. First the two ground explosives go off, aimed to take out the hero's legs then the two descending bombs detonate.

Kuroda, or rather.. Overkill.. glides over the smoking scene of his destruction. ''HAH!! And he's supposed to be some big deal up and coming hero. What a joke!''


Out of the smoke and flames rises a purple figure of Marvel, his form covered in a coat of his psyonic energy as he repels the smoke and debris away from him. ''What?! He blocked ? ... and avoided both strikes ? I was sure he didn't see the first two bombs... Hmph could be just a lucky fluke.'' Kuroda think to himself as he raises his glider upwards farther in the air trying to secure distance between himself and the hero. He grabs two more orbs from hi bag and throws them towards Marvel. The hero's fists glow with a purplish hue and he release two energy blasts towards the descending bombs, detonating them before their intended timing. The line of sight between Overkill and Marvel is now obscured by the smoke of the bombs that detonated in the air. Two more energy blasts shoot through the smoke and towards Kuroda but the boy's madly sharp reflexes allow him to sway to the side and dodge them, the blasts only grazing his hair a bit. From the smoke appears the purple radiant figure of Marvel, the hero propelling himself in the air with his quirk and closing the distance between the two. Kuroda's glider just barely, by mere centimeters manages to ascend enough to avoid the grip of Marvel's arms. 

But then, suddenly... Marvel's palm opens and he shoots another energy blast to the bottom of Overkill's glider, heavily damaging the machine. The glider spurs out of control as it starts descending. Kuroda tries hi best to regain control of the machine but is eventually forced to jump off of it as it nosedives into the concrete. As the boy jumps off he instinctively throws four bombs towards the general direction of his target. The attack was unprecise, Kuroda's equilibrium and spacial awareness of this battle was shattered as his glider violently yanked him towards the ground. ''Crap he's gonna get me!!'' a panicked thought screams through Kuroda's mind as he hits the ground and scrapes the concrete with his side for a few meters.

Kuroda often found himself strolling the alleyways of Tokyo. In the past it was due to the nature of his gang affiliated activities, the sideways of Tokyo acting as an intricate net of safety for various crooks, thieves and others hiding from the light of the law and at the same time appearing as a darkened, dangerous and treacherous maze for the forces of law and order as well as regular citizens. These days even though he rolls solo and the days of his gang loyalties and connections are behind him Kuroda travels the alleyways mostly due to his rising notoriety, now more than even ever before the need for such methods seems crucial as the boy's recent crimes included way too many high profile hero names, most of which sadly ended up maimed or deceased.  

On this night though his nightly stroll seemed to be meddled with by the hands of fate and is going to lead him to a life changing but seemingly random encounter... 

Hearing a ruckus from nearby Kuroda decided to take a turn into the alleyway and off of his desired route. He was greeted with a rather... interesting sight. Three individuals, no.. three thugs blocking someone's way. That someone was the interesting part. It seemed to be a punkish looking girl, that was at least two heads shorter than the thugs outnumbering her yet feisty as a firecracker, no signs of fear or backing down, only showing slight annoyance if anything.  

''Now I'm definitely not one for chivalry but really ? Three jackasses against one girl ?'' he said as he came up the alleyway behind the two thugs blocking the girl's exit from one side. Kuroda sported his usual look, a ragged hoodie with the hood pulled up revealing just a streak of his messy hair, both hands in the hoodie's pocket and walking with a casual yet somewhat aggressive stroll. ''The hell ? '' One of the thugs turned his head around but seeing a rather skinny long haired punk that Kuroda was he didn't take him seriously. ''Beat it pansy before we use you to beat the hell out of the girl.'' he said with an unimpressed look on his face causing his friend to chuckle. Interestingly this caused Kuroda to chuckle as well. He pulled his hand out of his pocket revealing a white blank card with only the kanji for ''DEATH'' inscribed on it. ''Tsk tsk. That's strike one.'' the boy said with a sly, almost eager smile. The thug once again turned towards Kuroda, noticing the card in his hand and almost bursting out laughing ''Are you fcking kidding m...'' the boy would interrupt him mid sentence ''Unfortunately for you I don't have patience for three strikes.'' For a moment it seemed as the card almost glimmered with some kind of energy.  Kuroda spread his hand revealing the second identical card behind the first one and swiftly threw both of them towards the two thugs. Before the makeshift projectiles even landed on their targets the boy raised his fingers with a malicious smile and in an instant! The two objects detonated causing an explosion and knocking the two thugs back first into the walls on their respective sides.
