Michimi already planned on giving it her all, but Amber being on board with salvaging their study-buddy friendship despite circumstances was a little bit of extra encouragement. Honestly she only wasn't more nervous because she was focused on taking action, dodging the monsters attempts at attacks and keeping herself firmly in-the-moment. Dropping down when Amber transformed back again, landing on her feet and promptly scurrying away from the newly formed hands still trying to grab, swat and otherwise crush her. "Go for it!" Michimi confirmed, ducking under a backhand that would have probably taken her head off if it'd connected. Breathing heavily she was grateful for the brief moment to catch her breath when the monster turned its attention to Arsenal, focusing on the little bit in her head where her Quirk organ was. Her muscles were sore and tired from using it a bunch earlier still, but she needed to make the most of the opening 'Arsenal' was creating for her.
Hair and eyes turning blue, everything suddenly seemed like it was sharper and clearer. It didn't improve her vision, or her reflexes, and Arsenal danced around the arms to slice open the monsters chest was just as blindingly fast. Instead it focused Michimi's thoughts, letting her pick up on all the quick little details that normally escaped her, and it was with a slight widening of her eyes that she saw the core clear as day.
Coming in from below as the monster swatted its attacker away, Michimi pushed concern aside with a scowl as she jumped up and shoved her hands deep into its chest to grab hold of the core - feet planting on the sides of its chest as she leaned back and pulled as hard as she could. "Come loose you stupid thing!" She would have gone for strength-mode if she had known it was going to be this hard to pull out! It was slowly but surely giving though, the damage Arsenal had done to the surrounding tissue letting it shift and begin to slip free... and then one of the monster's hands closed over both of her forearms in a grip so strong it made her bones creak, Michimi letting out a yelp of pain as the monster roared and flung her away.
Ripping its own core out of its chest in the process, Michimi managing to keep a deathgrip on it as she went flying head-over-heels in the same direction Arsenal had gone moments ago. Arsenal,

It really was unfair of Amber to pout on top of it, after Michi had already promised not to rat her out! She was either a really good actor and teasing her, too, or she actually didn't know what kind of terrible ability she had unleashed... Michi wasn't sure which option was worse. So she just grumbled back a quick "Don't worry about it..." and focused on how slowly but surely she was feeling warmer again. Holding out her hands as instructed, an amused grin spreading across her face at the pose Amber struck - villain or not she was absolutely every bit the dork Michi thought she was when they'd met at the cafe. The transformation itself was cool to see and Michi leaned forward a bit to make sure she caught the handle, giving a few cautious test swings and making sure to keep a loose grip as she listened to Amber's not-quite-disembodied-but-still-strange-to-hear-coming-from-a-sword voice.
"I guess that makes this our first study session then?" Michi quipped, holding Sword-Amber out and pointed away from her before scurrying her way up the tree as well as she could with only one free hand. After a little scrabbling she made it up into the branches, peeking out from between the leaves at the monster in the distance. As big as it was it was easy to spot, and taking a deep breath she murmured a quiet "Here goes nothin'." before calling out in a loud shout: "Hey, big and ugly! Are you gonna make me wait around all day for you to find me?"
The thunderous charge of the monster immediately heading their way sounded like a stampede, with all those legs it had it might as well have been, and as it rounded the tree Michi leaped out of the tree and stabbed Sword-Amber deep into it's shoulder, the creature giving a yell that sounded more like ferocious anger than any kind of pain as it brought a hand up to try and swat at them. Tugging the blade free with a quick jump over the hand, Michi managed to stab it again in the back, in an awkward spot it had trouble reaching - but even as they briefly dangled there it was starting to form extra arms to fix that problem.
Michi hadn't seen it, but the wound across its shoulder had dug just deep enough into its chest to reveal the edge of an object lodged inside - not bone or muscle or anything that should be there. Arsenal,

Walking along with his hands in his pockets, Michirou wasn't sure where exactly he was going. Not that he was actually going anywhere specifically today. He was just curious about the layout of UAU, the other students and what they or the teachers got up to between classes. The scent of ramen caught his attention and he paused to glance around, tilting his head to one side and mentally trying to remember if he was near the cafeteria or not. He was pretty sure he wasn't, at least not nearly close enough to pick up on anything someone was eating - he didn't have super smelling powers or anything, after all.
Peeking into what he was pretty sure was the room it was coming from revealed... a complete disaster. His most immediate thought was it had been vandalized - and how much of an annoying pain it would be to have to report that if so - but nothing was actually knocked over or anything. Just... messy, and cluttered. Maybe a temporary storage room? Wait no, there was actual trash in here too that hadn't been thrown away. And someone in a chair, that he hadn't immediately noticed with all the whiteboards taking up so much space!
Curiosity getting the better of him he made his way inside, glancing at what was on the whiteboards with an interested-but-obviously-not-understanding-it look on his face. If he caught Mitoki's attention he'd turn his to her, more interested in talking with someone than whatever all of this was, but if he didn't he was going to break the silence to ask: "Some kind of Quirk homework?"

Khepri's question was one Michi actually hadn't gotten before and she blinked over at the other student just a bit before they crested the hill. Whatever answer she would have come up with was put on sudden hold when she looked ahead of them again and went rocketing down the hill, eyes wide in alarm at fast approaching pit. No side paths, no ramps, the brakes on the bike might not stop her in time and might just fling her over her bike instead... Mystery switch it had to be! With desperate flick of a switch small tubes attached to the sides of the bike suddenly extended violently enough to slam into the ground and fling the bike up into the air - Michimi bouncing up off her seat, legs flailing and only staying with her bike thanks to the death grip she had on the handlebars as it soared across the gap.
Some of the riders triggered the same gimmick switch, but some ended up with massively expanded wheels and others extended glider-like wings.
Michi didn't notice any of that though, landing with an 'oof' on the other side of the gap. That had really scared the heck out of them, even if it wasn't likely to be genuinely dangerous... they still had half a mind to complain real loudly about being pranked like that by whoever designed this course! But that grumpy mindset faded after a few calming breaths, coasting along and admitting after a moment that it was actually pretty exciting and cool. They were tempted to get a gadget-bike of some kind of their own now, thinking about it more!
He hadn't noticed that the sudden rush of adrenaline had swapped which form he was in on him, glancing around to see if Khepri had also made it across. If she did, he was going to raise one hand up in a little wave and answer that question from earlier: "Pretty sure I count as just one, but you could say two and not exactly be wrong... and I have three names technically? What about you?" Mafdet Khepri,

For how often people talked about villains being completely unreasonable madmen, Amber was really not giving her that vibe at all. Giving a shake of her head and bringing one hand away from rubbing at her arm to give a wave-it-off gesture. "Quirk things." She explained simply. The chills would go away soon enough... and she just counted herself lucky she didn't end up super drowsy or something instead. That would not have been good in the middle of this kind of situation. Focusing on Amber again, mentioning that she used to be locked up prompted a curious look and a slight tilt of her head. But before she could ask the other girl used on the most villainous tactic of all - puppy dog eyes!
Whatever internal debate Michi might have gone over for this decision, she instead crumbled instantly. "I'm not going to lock you up." Michimi promised sincerely before giving a huff, puffing her cheeks out in a briefly grumpy pout. "Looking at me like that, you're definitely evil after all..."
Michi didn't get to be grumpy for long, the question that followed catching her by surprise as she glanced upwards in thought for a moment. "Weapons? A little bit of a lot of things, I guess, but my favorite..." Did Michi even have a favorite weapon? It was a question they didn't ever really consider much. Maybe just the one they had used the most in practice would be best? "Any idea what an Oxtail Saber is?" To try and convey what Michimi was talking about she brought her hands up to try and trace an outline of a sword with a curve and a flared tip and a similarly curved handle. Arsenal,

Michi just gave a little nod to confirm that it was indeed just a quirk thing and content with not having to answer a barrage of questions about it. Blinking at the defensive outburst, it actually made sense now that she thought about it. Plenty of heroes did the same thing, why wouldn't villains have secret identities too? Michi herself still hadn't decided if she wanted it to be well known that Michi Machida was the hero Trixtor, but villains would almost have no choice but to hide who they were... Otherwise they'd just get busted immediately, right?
More importantly the answer Chain Brain... Arsenal, or actually just Amber as it turned out really was her name... gave settled things for Michi. Giving a firm nod to herself, having stayed quiet while Amber explained some things, she would have hopped to her feet if she wasn't still tired and trying not to shiver uncontrollably. "Well, if thats the case... I probably woulda thought about letting you do your job if I'd known." She wasn't entirely sure if she would have just allowed an assassination right in front of her, but she definitely would not have tried to give the guy time to escape. She'd have tried to do something or other to see to it that whatever awful things he had done got punished somehow, even if death by chainsaw head seemed a bit too... harsh, to Michi. "But... since you only kill really bad people, and having seen how you can actually move against that monster, I'm pretty sure you coulda killed me whenever you wanted. So, I don't think you're evil either."
Giving a little 'brr' and shaking her head as she rubbed her upper arms a little faster, wishing the sudden chills would go away sooner than later, Michi listened to the distant sounds of the rampaging monster and let her thoughts wander out loud. "You sure we gotta be enemies? Maybe 'Arsenal' and 'Trixtor' gotta be, but Amber and Michi? Two sweets loving dorks that hang out at a cafe sometimes?" Arsenal,

"Purple makes sense." Michi agreed, twisting her handlebars to veer to the side and avoid another bike that promptly crashed into the small pile up. She wasn't sure if people were just unfamiliar with riding bikes or if they were trying to sabotage people or what, peering back over her shoulder at the arguments breaking out as they continued onward. The sudden introduction being closer prompted a small "Wah!" and briefly wobbling on her bike, the color shifting from green to greenish-yellow, before managing to keep from toppling over on her way up the hill. With a sigh of relief and the color starting to shift back towards a calm green again, she gave Khepri a smile and replied: "Machida Michimi, nice to meet'cha Khepri."
Then they crested the top of the hill and the sudden slope on the other side that was so steep it was practically a straight edge. For just a brief moment Michi's bike teetered on the top as she turned to glance forward again, giving a quiet "Eh?" before tipping forward and letting out a shrill "Waitaminute!" as she went rocketing down the slope at barely controllable speeds - clinging to her handlebars and leaning forward to hug as close to the now bright-yellow bike as she could. Along with a lot of others who made it to the top, only a few stopping before they tipped over the edge and laughing at those that didn't.
A wide pit spanned the bottom of the slope ominously waiting to gobble up the unfortunate cyclists, with no clear ramp or other path to help reach the other side.

Still frozen with her hands up and a look of complete surprise on her face, Amber's questions prompted her to glance down at herself with a raised eyebrow and a retort ready to go and oh, she'd changed forms again... no wonder Amber was just as surprised as she was. Leaning back against the tree warily at the sort of threat Michi wasn't sure if she had it in her to fight off 'Chain Brain' again. After seeing some of what she could do against the monster she was pretty sure she hadn't been going all out against her before, and that was when Michi hadn't been tired at all.
But then Amber bonked her head and was obviously in even worse shape than she was and Michimi murmered a quiet "Ah... that looked like it hurt." in sympathy. She'd flopped sort of similarly before as Chain Brain, just as a knife, and hadn't suddenly attacked her then either. So Michi was half-confident and half-hopeful that she wouldn't try something like that now and with her palms flat to show she meant no harm, and trying to keep them steady despite the sudden chills that were running through her and making her shiver, Michimi tried to help reposition Amber in a more comfortable way in their hiding spot. While she did, she tried to explain something she had explained more times than she could count in the past in a tone that made it pretty clear she was reciting the same old spiel out of habit.
"Was a guy, am now a girl... and its not a disguise or anything, and I can't control it much. Neither one is 'the real one', both are and I just kinda swap between them. My name really is Michimi, and Michirou, so either works. Or just Michi, that's fine too." Crossing her arms under her chest, hands rubbing at her upper arms out of habit to try and feel warmer, Michimi quickly added with a defensive look to the side: "I wasn't trying to spy on Chain Brain or anything either! I just happened to go to that cafe in girl mode and... I dunno, I never would have guessed a friendly, cute dork with a sweet tooth could possibly be an assassin..."
Michimi didn't sound accusatory so much as sincerely reflecting on that revelation. That her new friend and future study-buddy had turned out to not just be a villain, but a self proclaimed assassin. As well as one she had stopped from killing someone not that long ago either! Was she just that bad a judge of character or something? After another quiet moment, after Amber said anything she might have to say in response, Michimi was going to ask a question in a much more serious tone than she usually used in either form.
"What kind of people do you kill?" Arsenal,

"So what, let you get squashed while you're on the ground?" Michirou snapped back, wincing at the shriek and peering back over his shoulder before letting out a startled yell of his own at the now multi-legged monster barreling down at them. There was no way they were outrunning that! With what little stamina he had left to keep his Quirk going, Michirou made a hard turn when they passed just between a tree and the Nomu enough to break its line of sight right as it lunged ahead in an attempt to crush where they would have been - slamming itself into other trees in the process. "Shit shit shit..." Michirou mumbled under his breath, doubling back the way they had just come from while the Nomu rampaged in the trees.
Making it to another big tree to hide behind, Michi practically flopped their back against it, breathing heavily as the red left their hair and eyes.
Instead of black and gray, it was pink-and-pink that poked out from behind the tree just enough to try and peek at if the Nomu had lost track of them. It seemed like it had for now, rampaging further away from them, and Michi gave an exhausted sigh of relief and slid down into a seated position on the ground. "Looks like we lost it... Any ideas what we do no-" Michimi glanced at Chain Brain only to find the chainsaw head entirely missing, blinking at the familiar face that greeted her instead. One beat passed, and then another, and then Michimi threw her hands up in surprise - dropping Amber if she hadn't already gotten back on her own feet - and giving a shrill "EEEEEHHH?!?!?" of complete shock. Michirou warily brought his hands up got ready to move if Chain Brain swung that axe-limb at him, but despite seemingly being between an assassin and a monster one eyebrow went up and replied in a deadpan tone. "You were trying to kill a guy, remem..." He cut off suddenly as the axe swung, blinking in surprise as it cut off the arm of the monster instead. How sharp was that? Maybe they could win after all if he could run distraction and Chain Brain could chop it up and - no wait, it regenerated in a split second, Michirou's brief flash of inspiration sputtering out in an instant. The following comment prompted an annoyed scowl to cross his face, giving a huff. "I am some random guy! I'm also a hero student, I guess, but I wouldn't be here if I had a choice y'know."
Chain Brain suddenly leaping to defend him made Michirou blink again, then recognizing that even as impressively sharp and durable as her Quirk seemed to make her the monster was simply in a whole other league. Darting in with a hooking kick that hit just the right part of the monsters leg to force it to buckle and stumble onto one knee, he immediately whirled around to turn his attention back to Chain Brain and offered whatever help was needed - lending them a hand to get back on their feet or outright grabbing them to make a break for it in the small window they had before the monster could lumber back onto its feet and chase after them.
Either way he was going to frantically reply "Same here, so lets run!" while trying to spot somewhere safe they could retreat to before exhaustion could force his Quirk off. Arsenal,

This was not what Michi had expected to get tangled up in so early into their hero career. Eventually someday as a pro, or maybe even in their final year of UAU when they were doing sidekick work or something. Minor crimes and good Samaritan stuff sure, that was something Michi felt fully prepared to handle even without official training from UAU, but super villain stuff and big scary monsters? Right about now they were wishing they had slept in, maybe called in sick this morning...
Michirou hopped backwards as the monster took another big swing at him and forced him to focus on the present, the impact put a worrying cracking dent in the ground. Eyes and hair both red he bolted forward to try and level as strong a kick as he could muster to try and knock the creature off balance and do some damage... and instead all he really did was make it stumble back a bit and quite literally shrug his Quirk-powered kick off. Landing with a scowl on his face he tried to ignore the twinge of muscle strain, shifting his weight to his other foot warily. How was he supposed to fight these things? Where had the teachers and other students and heroes gone? Well technically he was the one who had gotten lost but he would really appreciate some back up right about now!
A sudden warning being shouted out caught his attention, briefly turning his head and catching a glimpse of someone running towards him when another monster attacking from the side caught his attention and he dropped in a sudden crouch to avoid it taking his head off with a swipe while calling back: "Brain Chain? What're you doin' here?" Arsenal,

Conversation salvaged! Michimi relaxed with a little relieved sigh, giving a slight shake of her head to convey that she didn't come here much. Mostly because it was her first time here ever, but that was a little harder to convey with just a shake of the head. More importantly though Amber approved of the shared cookie, the pink haired girl smiling around the spoon in her mouth. It was nice running across someone who appreciated a good snack, and knew the pain of eating ice cream too fast at that. How people managed not to inhale it when it was so good was something she'd never been able to wrap her head around.
The offer caught her by surprise, blinking and murmuring a quiet "Eh?" in contemplation. On the one hand she wouldn't mind the help, on the other hand she didn't want to impose on Amber's free time if she had such an insane amount of studying to do herself... but on the other-other hand it wasn't imposing if Amber was the one offering in the first place, right? And on the other-other-other hand she was really nice and friendly and Michimi wasn't at all opposed to hanging out with her some more. Glancing down at the plate held out to her with a smile, she took a piece off the cake and gave an enthusiastic nod and a quick "That'd be great!" in reply before popping the bite in her mouth and savoring it with an appreciative hum.
"You have great taste in cake, too! Do you know the menu pretty well here?" Michimi crossed her arms over her chest thoughtfully for a moment before adding. "And if we're meeting up for studying, what kind of time would work best for you?" Arsenal,

Michimi made a face at the mention of grammar that made it clear she wasn't a fan of it herself, but she couldn't be grumpy about grammar when she was busy enjoying her snack. Even though she was splitting her attention and missed Amber undoing her transformed finger, she did catch the little wince and the way the other girl slouched in her seat. "Mm, that's a fair stance I think." She murmured in agreement, popping another spoonful in her mouth. Whatever heavy topics lurked at the edges of this conversation the smile on Amber's face gave Michimi the impression that there wasn't any need to dwell on it.
And then Michimi snapped her free hand up to place her palm over one of her pink eyes, other eye half-scrunched and hissing "ow ow ow" under her breath. Shaking her head lightly from side to side and setting her spoon down she plucked one of the not-freezing-cold cookies from the top of her parfait and quietly munched on it for a moment. Pulling her hand away as the sudden headache subsided as quickly as it had appeared, she flashed Amber a sheepish smile and offered a simple explanation: "Brain freeze, sorry about that... uh, I was going to say something... want a cookie?"
It was probably a silly offer since Amber clearly already had a cake to snack on, but it was what came to mind first. Arsenal,

Peering down at her currently yellow handlebars and the odd little switches on it that definitely weren't just the brakes, Michimi twisted the front wheel from one side and then to the other while staying stationary as she tried to get a feel for the unfamiliar bike. There was nothing wrong with it at all, it just felt a little oversized for her current form. But adapting was what she prided herself on so she didn't make a fuss, instead turning her attention as someone next to her spoke up. It didn't occur to her that the other student was talking about literally which direction, instead giving a quick shake of her head and a smile as she cheerfully replied: "Nope!" To Michi that was half the fun though, finding out the route as they went through it and whatever obstacles might come up.
Her bike shifting from yellow to green, she started to pedal as the group started off. Some tried to race off ahead right out the gate, but Michimi was content to get a feel for it for now. And she kind of wanted to talk to the other student a little more while they had a chance before things got more exciting. So she did her best to keep pace with the cat-like student, giving a laugh at the comment that she assumed was a joke. "Probably red, right? Since blue is going forward?" But then she pursed her lips thoughtfully, letting her bike coast on its own momentum for a moment. "Oh, but Red is usually stop too isn't it..." Mafdet Khepri,
