[attr="class","FaustContent"]Food? Did somebody mention food in Sebastian's presence!? Well, that's one way to get his attention. The imaginary sleeping snot bubble popped when she said the magic word. His eyes shot right open as his selective consciousness kicked in.

"Woo! Finally!" he shouted, jumping back up to his feet.

While he was certainly still hurting, and a bit dizzy from standing up so fast, he did his best to suppress it for the sake of comedy. After all, it wouldn't be very funny or obnoxious if he showed Jun how hurt he really was. He imagined it'd only infuriate her more if it looked like he was more than capable of taking a hit and was only pretending to be shit out of laziness. There was also the potential that he could trick her into believing that he was competent enough to handle himself similar to how he did with Miroru. The sooner he could get his teammates off his ass, the sooner he could get back to uninterrupted afternoon naps.

Jun, however, should've been more careful around Sebastian. He loved annoying people, so it's always best not to give Sebastian ammo. Big grin on his face, he immediately broke right into Jun's personal bubble to try and hook an arm around her shoulders and pull her in for a side hug. "See, y'really need to be more reasonable like this sooner. Think of how much time you wasted trying to get me to change. You just gotta accept me as I am, keep me fed, and I'll help you win your silly little competition, yeah?"

[attr="class","FaustContent"]He dropped the smoldering gaze to just stare back at her with a dumbfounded, blank expression in response to hearing her name. Was Freja Helt supposed to mean something to him? Why would that ring any bells? Then again, he wasn't too good with names or faces to begin with. He liked to keep his brain nice and tidy which meant no unnecessary wrinkles remembering that which doesn't need to be remembered.

"...Nope. Not ringing any bells," he grinned, sticking his tongue out like a child. Then she said stabbed, and it was hard not to remember that one. Suddenly, it all came back to him: She was the girl who saved him!

He pushed himself off the bench and approached her. Gripping his chin, he tilted his head and leaned forward. He had absolutely no qualms with invading someone's personal space, so he made sure to lean in as close as possible without actually touching her. Just an inch away from her face, his eyes were right at nose level. "Right! That's it! Yeah, I remember now!" he snapped his fingers and pointed at her, pulling back out of her bubble.

"What's there to explain? Thinking back on it, it all seems like it was very cut and dry. I can't imagine why you'd be confused about any of that nonsense," he shrugged his shoulders.

[attr="class","FaustContent"]If Sebastian was a Native American, his name would be Spread Eagle because that's exactly how he was sleeping right now. That bench was more than big enough to fit more than one person, but Sebastian slept totally manspreading the fuck out of his legs to cover the entire bench.

When she nudged his shoulder, a smile spread across his face as he muttered something in his sleep. "Mmm...Right there. That's the spot...Zzz..."

Then he got a nice splash of cold water to the face to take him out of the lovely dream that he was just having. "Dah! Jah! Fuuh! Oh," he blinked, looking up to see the culprit.

He lowered his sunglasses to get a good look at her. ...Nope. Wasn't ringing any bells. He figured that it was probably Miroru or Junsuina or that Kioko had somehow managed to sneak her way on campus, but it was someone else entirely antagonizing him today. Odd. Well, if a new girl was going to bother him today then so be it. Why not grow that little list of his of women that absolutely hated his guts?

"Hey," he winked as he gave her a little head nod. He kept his glasses lowered so that she could see only the top half of his eyes, and he ran his hand through his wet hair to slick it back real quick before doing a little hair flip to the side. "So, what's your name, sweetheart?"

[attr="class","FaustContent"]It's been a rough week. Between classes, getting stabbed, and Jun torturing him with her whole betterment shtick—why the fuck did he even agree to do that anyway?—shit just really wasn't going Sebastian's way lately. God, it was simply too much. He wanted a break—needed a break.

As much as he wanted to loaf around for the day, he had classes. He couldn't afford to be missing any more days lest he welcome the academic consequences that accompany 'em. It wasn't like he was doing too hot lately on the school front, so he needed to put in at least a little effort to repair some of the goodwill he had lost with his early antics.

He dragged himself out of bed, did the bare minimum to get ready, and slowly walked across campus to get to the classrooms. The walk alone was exhausting. He couldn't find the energy to take another step toward the classroom buildings, but he could find the energy to step toward the benches.

"Five minutes. Five minutes, and then I'll go to class."



"Zzzz...", he snored. Sebastian never made it to class. He never left that bench. He dozed right off on the bench and slept through the entire day of classes.

[attr="class","FaustContent"]Damn...She really hit the nail on the head on that one. Then again, was it any real surprise that Sebastian wasn't here to seriously become a hero? It's not like he bothered making it some grand secret. In fact, he was quite open about his disdain for all things work-related.

"D. All of the above," he grumbled, pointing to the sky while still keeping his face flat on the ground. "Thanks for bringing it up. Now I'm physically AND emotionally hurt." He wasn't. Well, he was physically hurt—not really emotionally hurt. It was more like he was emotionally inconvenienced.

"Oh. You're tying me up now. Awesome. Love that. Really love it," he said through his gritted teeth as she hoisted him up in the air.

Yeah, this day was getting worse by the minute. Well, it's a good thing he had a strategy for when this sort of thing happens to him. "Harder. I'm almost there," he smiled. Good ol' reverse psychology. If she took him seriously—and god help her if she ever took Sebastian seriously—she'd probably think he's fucking gross—and god help her if she didn't—but he didn't really give a shit about what she thought about him.

"See now that's why I'm not going to become a hero. Though I think you've tortured me enough. I'd like one trip to the nurse and a hot meal, please and thank you."

[attr="class","FaustContent"]Here he thought that the giant musclehead would be one of those stereotypical idiots. Of all the people he could've chosen to con during this exam, he just had to pick the one that was suspicious of the competition. Where are all those starry-eyed hero fanatics that eat up all of that bullshit that he tried to peddle? No matter. Zenkai may not have trusted with Sebastian but by agreeing to go and fight the villain, he played right into Sebastian's hands. The more time he spent fighting the villain, the more time Sebastian had to try and monopolize as many points as possible. Ideally, the villain will take Zenkai out of the equation entirely, easily, eliminating probably the biggest competitor (literally and figuratively) in this group.

The new girl, Sada, was an entirely different problem. He imagined that directly supporting his rescue efforts would mean she'd get to siphon off some of his rescue points. Unfortunately, he couldn't think of a way to deny her help without totally exposing himself as the liar and cheat that he was. Unfortunately, he'd need to take the L on this one and pray that the villain was strong enough that he could force Sada into focusing all of her attention on supporting Zenkai.

"Incredible," he passed, flexing his hands.

This time he wasn't lying. Whatever Sada had done to him was making him stronger. It tickled and felt warm—or maybe he was just imagining that. He didn't like it. Being strong is the worst. It's inconvenient. The burden of the mighty was way too heavy for him to bear. Just this once, he'd have to accept it though—just long enough until he can make it through this stupid exam. If there was one thing about her quirk that he did like it was the pink halo. Pink is the best color.

"Thank you, Miss Sada. I promise I won't let your power go to waste!" Blegh. Almost vomited there.

While they focused their attention on the villain, Sebastian got to helping people across. He started by jumping to the other boat by making a path of invisible air trampolines. Once the path was set, he traveled back along it and began instructing people across.

"Don't worry, folks, we're going to give it our everything to make sure you get to the other boat safely. Just jump right across like I did. I promise you that you won't fall, and I'll do everything in my power to keep this monster from getting even remotely close to you!" God, he wanted to die right then and there.
