| Makitori Hebi | @winding.snake.nāga Location: Tokyo, Japan. | Current Status: Hinamatsuri prep, I'm doing my part o7 Now Playing: Shakira - Try Everything 08:59, March 2nd, 2100. In the interim between graduating high school and going with Takamiya to attend UA entrance exams, Makitori Hebi had sought to do something with her days as spring heralded the days being warm enough for her to be comfortable outside. This particular morning had been quite cold, however. Having volunteered to assist with putting up decorations (and almost certainly entertaining the children, even if that part was unwritten) at an orphanage for the Hinamatsuri festival, Hebi had wrapped up very warm (in 2 shirts and a sweater) for the train journey and walk to the location. She walked up to the doors of the orphanage building, entering the reception a minute or two before the activity was due to begin. Pulling down a neck-warmer, she greeted the receptionist. "Good morning. Hopefully I'm not late, it's quite hard for me to move quickly in the cold."
After her identity had been confirmed she was lead through to the main part of the building proper. Befitting her name, Hebi's 4m tail snaked behind her as she went. Immediately, she could see (and almost feel) the looks given to her by some of the children (ranging from toddlers to only a couple years below her own age. as she passed. A mix of fear, apprehension, curiosity and wonder. This was going to be interesting, if nothing else. The receptionist stopped outside what appears to be a storeroom, opening the door. "All our decorations are in here, and together with the other volunteers- well, volunteer, we'd appreciate if you could have as much of this out as possible by the end of the day. Staff will try to help where we can and give guidance, but obviously we'll be preoccupied with caring for the children most of the time. Thanks so much for volunteering to help!" With a bow, the receptionist left. Hebi was then left looking into the storeroom, and then looking for the other volunteer so they could begin together. She could hear a couple young kids were close, around a corner, seemingly daring each other to approach her. Yep, this was gonna be interesting.
Note: Zahra will have received (or will receive) the same basic brief, feel free to just control kid NPCs and detail the orphanage as we go, tried not to make my starter too long. Zahra Poetri

Current status, battling down the urge to yawn after hearing the briefing. While between Indonesia and Japan there are no concept of jet lag; the 2 hours difference is still significant for the young support-to-be. She would be sleeping at this time of day back in Indonesia but now she find herself surrounded by little children and decoration; prepping for the Hinamatsuri. A good way to increase good rapport to the organization that gives her scholarship and what not. The concept of Hinamatsuri for Zahra is not an alien despite being a foreigner and never grow up in Japan; she watched enough slice of life anime when there were no mecha anime in the season to learn about it. However, from the looks of it that her partner might knows more about it considering that she is Japanese - At least that is what she assume.
"How good are you on decorating room? I am Zahra Poetri but you can call me Zahra" Zahra asks and follow up with a short introduction. A kid suddenly peeks from the corner of the room and suddenly unleashes a missile right toward the mutant. "Big sis, you look funny" The kid giggling while pointing at the snake girl "Why do you look different?"
At that situation Zahra can only stand up still and stay silent not know what to do. She doesn't dislike children but she never good with them. They often triggers her quirk unknowingly and even Zahra aware that they don't do that purposefully. Zahra hope that this girl can find within herself some patience. It didn't take Hebi long to find her partner, or rather for Zahra to find her. Turning to face the slightly shorter girl, Hebi looked her over quickly before responding. "Well, I wouldn't say I'm a professional or anything, but I've done stuff for Hinamatsuri before. Should be pretty easy, though." She offers a handshake, face blank. "I'm Makitori Hebi, nice to meet you." She was very quickly thrown off by a comment from the same group of kids she'd been watching just prior. Guess one of them finally worked up the courage. Taking a deep breath to push past the underlying sentiment of what they'd said, she replied calmly. "I have a mutant Quirk that changes how I look a lot, I've had it since I was born." She took a couple steps away from Zahra (towards the kid(s)) and did a small demonstration of her Quirk. Her tail fully lifted off the ground, forming a circle framing her body before lowering back to the ground, and she pulled back her cheek to show off sharp teeth and a long tongue. "Everyone is unique, especially since the Advent of Quirks. Do any of you have Quirks?"
After the initial response to that question, Hebi went back inside the storeroom and retrieved some of the decorations. "Most of this is probably meant for the main rooms, but we could put some of the banners up in this hallway. You ready to get started?" She looked around for some Blu-Tac or other way to secure stuff to walls, then set about hanging up a couple posters using her tail to prop her up in place of a step ladder. Meanwhile, a little girl (somewhere between 4 and 7) approaches Zahra. She is wearing a scarf that obscures her entire lower face below the nose. She pulls on Zahra's scarf and speaks quietly. "E-excuse me, big sis... can I h-help you with the decorations? I'll try not to get in y-your way..."
