Shibuya Crossing, Tokyo, Japan 10:38 PM, Nearly eleven hours since the beginning of Operation Babel
Ishtar got off the phone and slipped it into her pocket, satisfied. The orders had been given for the raid she was orchestrating on the other side of the city. The bay was far removed from Shibuya. More importantly, she'd been seen retreating home after the outbreak of violence and holing up inside of her penthouse for security. With her sterling reputation and tireless efforts, no one in the world would believe she was out here.
She took a deep breath, savoring the sounds of the city in conflict. Twenty-four hours of wanton mayhem as heroes struggled to keep up with the chaos. Villains able to move about like ghosts, organize like never before, reaction times on par with hero-agencies. She ate up their confusion as if it were a feast. Right now she wasn't the champion of Hero Society, Sonya Cernovna. Right now she was the White Queen, the servant of Villains everywhere; Ishtar.
She stepped up to the edge of the roof of the building she was standing on. A dozen drones lifting up around her and spreading out through the large opening. Civilians, police, and villains all scattered across the area. She reached up to her respirator as her body began to glow. She spread out her arms in a distant embrace and called out to Shibuya Crossing. "Hello Darlings!" Her raspy voice echoed, carried by the drones with speakers. Some people stopped to see who was standing atop the screen. Soon the screen itself turned to show her eerie visage. Her entire body glowing a pale white she looked like a luminous being with predatory eyes.
"Ishtar!" One villain shouted.
"It's Ishtar!" Another roared, "She came out herself!"
"Thanks for the invitation to the party, Lady Ishtar!" A massive villain called, raising his burly fists into the air.
Ishtar didn't bother stopping their praise, she welcomed it, casting her glow over the area, "Thank you, darlings! I hope you enjoy it!" She called and raised a finger like she was some sort of idol, "Don't forget the rules, lovelies, go have fun, I know I will! Been waiting all day to come out and play with you!" She crowed.
A police officer, coming out of the momentary shock of her appearance, turned and pointed his weapon at her. He shouted something that she didn't hear. Nor did she care. Instead she just pointed at him. A thin ray of white light pierced the center of his chest and he collapsed to the ground, dead.

To say that it had been chaos across Tokyo this day would have been the understatement of a lifetime. The minute the message had gone out, the fragile chain that locked the gate to Hell had been removed. At first, it hadn't been too strange; a bit more criminal activity than usual, but such a thing could easily be dismissed as just a random coincidence. But the crimes continued. More. And better armed; in a country like Japan, it should not be so easy for such a large number of criminals to get their hands on weaponry. Especially not on the same day. Guns. Explosives. Unusually coordinated attacks from gangs infamous for their chaotic methods of operating. No, something was definitely up; that much was clear, and it became more clear the longer the day proceeded. Especially considering a certain unifying factor with many of the criminals Sora had fought, seen, or heard the reports of. Needless to say, Sora had been busy, just as every other hero on the job today. He had come across a number of thugs and gangs looking to take advantage of the chaos, and whatever was supplying it, thankfully managing to subdue them with little to no casualties, though how cleanly things ended varied. But he was just one man; all of them were. It was like the floodgates had been opened to a massive dam. And as a voice echoed across the city, carried with the aid of drones dispatched seemingly everywhere at once, the one who opened those floodgates seemed to have taken the stage. And almost literally, judging by her theatrical tone and encouragement of the countless roaches scurrying about the broken streets of Shibuya. There she was; the woman identifying herself as the White Queen. The villains cheered for her, only affirming her as the center of this madness as she shot a police officer who had dared to throw fruit on her stage. The sight brought rage to the horned hero's heart, but he restrained himself; now was not the time to be swayed by emotion. Fortunately, Sora had managed to avoid much attention thus far; he was still a relative unknown on the hero scene, his powers were difficult to make out by the inexperienced, and a majority of those he'd tangled with today were small-time; he hadn't needed to go anywhere near all out yet. Which was good; because he didn't expect to have such a luxury this time. He looked up in the sky at the numerous drones flitting about; like locusts over a field of crops they swarmed, carrying the self-proclaimed Queen's words and will. And he decided to make his first move; with but a thought Sora commanded the winds themselves, sending harsh gusts from every direction at any drone he could see. The wind would knock into the machines, sending them spinning out of control into buildings or outright knocking them to the grounds, some even landing on the villains gathered around the crossing. "Sorry, Your Majesty," Sora thought to himself, not one to blow a chance at an advantage by shouting his challenge like a madman. "But all the soldiers in the world won't make that tin crown turn gold."Sonya Chernovna

To think Sadako had looked forward to clocking out of work and getting home to her apartment just mere hours ago. Collapse onto her couch and eat some cheap instant ramen while she fell asleep to some boring TV drama, it all seemed so distant now compared to the hellscape that surrounded her. She was about to run in guns, or rather, fists blazing when she saw a lot of criminals and villains gathered in one place, but something was off. What were they gathered here for? Why were they looking up? Pressing up against the side of a building to better hide herself, she found her answer when she followed their gaze and looked up. ''Ishtar?'' She muttered to herself as she looked at the eerie visage on the screen. From the way the crowd was reacting she sounded really important. She felt her blood run cold, was she the instigator? The one who had organized this whole thing? She sure did seem to love the attention she was getting. She noticed the police officer too and quickly started conjuring up a chain, but before she could wrap it around him and drag him to safety, he had practically already been zapped by Ishtar's power. Overcome by anger and grief in that moment, Sadako wiped away a few tears, but quickly tried to collect her thoughts. She needed to face this Ishtar here and now. She couldn't just let her run rampant. It was then that she noticed the drones spinning out of control. Back up? Maybe. What it really was, was a chance. A chance to get close to The White Queen. Sadako wasted no time taking advantage of the chaos as she started into a sprint. Much like Sora, she wasn't a relatively well-known hero and for once her hero costume, a simple suit and tie, was working to her advantage as well. Running up to the building, Sadako conjured up two chains, one in either hand as she began climbing. ''Your idea of play,'' She panted, making her chains disappear as she reached the roof, standing about ten feet behind Ishtar. ''is a bit messed up, don't you think so, your Majesty?'' She smiled, staring the villain down. ''Gleipnir.'' She flashed her hero license briefly. ''I'm going to need you to come with me, White Queen.''Sonya ChernovnaSora Nakoma

Well, she got the message for sure but why would she voluntarily herself to be part of them? Nope, nah.. gonna stand from afar in the layer of invisibility that is granted by her outfit.
Man, the lady sure has some pizzazz with her entrance. Kudos for her completely ignoring others that pour after her entrance. It is rather cute on how one of the two heroes play along with the theatrical value of this White Queen brings to the table. Now the questions that lingers on her right now - how to steal the spotlight and out stage White Queen? Ito tilts her head not entirely sure yet on how she would do that yet, she had a feeling that it is close to impossible but for now time to play with the hero that looks familiar to her.
She walks carefully, approaching Gelipnir and in one swift movement - Ito yanks Sadako's tie with force making her kneel. Giving a false idea that White Queen has the quirk to make someone kneeled, hence her nickname. Now would she get tricked once again like in the past or not, either way - Ito is excited. Even if i become Ishtar stood atop the largest building at the Shibuya crossing, her glowing eyes watching the activity below. She savored the energy in the air, grinning to herself. Her precious villains were already running off to engage in their own mayhem even as more came into the crossing to catch a glimpse of one of the two forces that had orchestrated the madness of this evening. Her pink eyes gleamed as her body glowed brightly, she raised her head high. Then a wind cast over her, a powerful wind that ripped its way through the area. A good seventy percent of her drones were knocked out of the sky in the raging torrent. That was impressive. A hero she didn't know about? Or perhaps one she'd overlooked while searching for clients. Tick tick tickHer ocular mechanisms were picking up speed. Her mind was working a bit faster. She raised her arm to activate the next wave of drones. "Little hero scurrying around," Her voice, that death rasp, echoed through the remaining drones. "How are you going to make anyone feel safe hiding like this?"Tick tick tickticktick tick tickMovement behind her, the sound of metal. Her hands lowered to her sides as a young woman spoke up. She recognized the voice as she introduced herself, Gleipnir, of Ouros. A small smile crossing her lips beneath the respirator mask. What an opportunity. She took a deep breath as she kept her back turned to the newcomer. The drone facing her kept the footage of what was happening on the roof going on the main screen in the crossing. Tick tick ... tick"You? You're going to take me away, little Gleipnir?" She hummed in amusement, the pale light of her quirk intensifying even as she kept it close to her body. The air temperature began to drop in a wider and wider area. Rainwater on the roof froze. Even people down below began to see their own breath on this warm evening. She slowly turned around, the weight of her presence coming to bear as she held her head high. She didn't sense the movement of whomever it was that darted in front of Gleipnir to pull her to her knees. Tick tick tick tick tick tick tick"Recall would have known better..." She hissed, leveling Gleipnir with her gaze and casting her presence throughout the area. Several villains stumbled. Birds flew away, their natural survival instincts kicking in. A civilian collapsed and retched. Ishtar started to step towards her, her head held high. "The heart of UAU," She said, her voice broadcasting throughout the area, her slow, predatory approach caught on the big screen for all to see. "The Student Counselor, with the weight of all those little heroes in training on your shoulders."Tick tick... tick tick...She stopped in front of, Gleipnir, all of her presence bearing down. She tilted her head, her eyes wide. Her glowing pupils intensifying as the mechanisms clicked over rapidly. "How will losing you make them feel?"tickticktickticktick

Once more Ishtar's voice cut through the air after her drones were destroyed, a new wave of the machines emerging as she taunted her unknown assailant for their cowardice. The words did little to bother Sora; while it was true that it was important for heroes to inspire hope and joy through their presence, it was also true that their mission was one of protection first; despite his general good humor, Sora was pragmatic if nothing else. He wasn't going to squander the advantage his lack of notoriety provided until it was necessary. Unfortunately, it would seem that such a time would come sooner than later. As he approached the base of the he caught sight of the screen the White Queen was projecting herself onto; a young woman was confronting her, and Ishtar recognized and named her as the counselor at UAU. Gleipnir was down on her knees in front of the villainess, and even at his current distance Sora could feel his blood run cold at her threatening words. He had felt such a sensation a number of times before, with two in particular standing out. The first was his clash with Don Blood back in America, when he first saw what the vampiric crime lord had been capable of. But the second was of his youth; even now, so many years later, the cold of the witch above him burned away as he recalled the fire that engulfed his childhood home. The fire that had almost killed him and his sister, and had separated him from his friend Shinokame. Sora reached up to his neck and felt the familiar silver charms, tucked beneath his shirt. Their presence gave him some peace of mind... this wasn't the time to freeze or hesitate. It was the time for action. A ladder to the roof was beside Sora, and he got an idea. The hero known as Dericho turned to look at the screen Ishtar was presenting her little show on, giving him a clear view of her position on the roof as she approached the kneeling heroine. The drone was far enough away that he could see a majority of the roof from its perspective, so his eyes rapidly scanned the screen until... there! He spotted the top of the very ladder he stood at, and that told him a general idea of where the recording drone was. Sora quietly climbed up the ladder as he concentrated, his mind racing as he visualized where the drone was. He would need to be quick about this, as he readied himself for a tricky maneuver... MusicNow! Another blast of wind ripped through the sky, but this one was less precise, more powerful. Before, he had the drones in his view and could pinpoint how to knock them out of the air. But since he was just basing this off of the video feed, he needed a little leeway; the wind was powerful enough to knock the filming drone down, but angled in the direction of its master; the machine hurtling towards Ishtar at high speeds. Simultaneously Dericho summoned a powerful wind beneath himself, using the ladder to spring himself upward while taking advantage of the gust to carry him up to the top of the building. As soon as he was high enough he aimed to land on the roof itself, an equal distance between Sadako and Ishtar but off to the side. And as he landed, grimacing at the pain but dealing with it, a wave of wind spread out from him; in her kneeling state the heroine should be able to hold her position against the gale decently enough, but hopefully it would knock the White Queen (and the enemy he did not know of yet) off balance. He stood up, legs hurting from the rough entry but otherwise uninjured. The horned young man's eyes shifted from Ishtar and back to Gleipnir, not wanting to take his attention off of either the enemy or his fellow hero. He didn't say a word yet; words were distracting, and he needed to focus. This was just getting started. Sadako GotohAmano ItoSonya Chernovna

Almost immediately, Sadako could feel something yank at her tie, forcing her to her knees. Was it the White Queen? It couldn't be, earlier when she used her quirk there was a pale light and here? There was no light to be seen. In a moment like this, facing a formidable villain, Sadako had no reason to believe that Amano Ito had somehow gotten up onto this rooftop with them. ''I'm flattered you know my name.'' It wasn't until Ishtar started approaching her that she got a glimpse of the pale light up close. The temperature in the air shifted and Sadako became short of breath in a matter of seconds, sweating bullets just from staring the villain down. Yeah, this White Queen was bad news all right. She was right. Iphi would never have made a mistake like this, but what choice did Sadako have? Let a dangerous villain go so that she could use her powers freely against civilians? Even if it meant certain death, she would rather face her right here and now. She lowered her head momentarily, straining to close her eyes but no matter what all she could see was the eerie pale light. She needed to calm down if she wanted to stand a chance here. All the students... Well, if she did die here surely they would just replace her. She found comfort in the fact that this wasn't a public fight. The fact that all of this was being broadcast was completely unknown to Sadako. Managing a weak smile, she finally turned her head to look up at Ishtar with a hint of defiance. ''You think I came here just to die? You disappoint me, White Queen.'' Another powerful gust of wind, that was her cue. With the drone now hurtling towards Ishtar thanks to Sora's wind, Sadako quickly conjured up a chain and tried to wrap it around Ishtar's ankle, hoping to trip her up or make it harder to avoid the incoming drone. Thankfully Sora's entrance didn't blow her away, and what an entrance too. Her assessment that other heroes had been in the area was fortunately correct. She already knew she wouldn't last two minutes against Ishtar alone. However, with Sora here? He was a talented young man and while she didn't know much about him yet, she did know he was already starting to make waves in Japan. Sadako didn't say a word either. She only looked at Sora for a moment, knowing they would have to team up here and now to face Ishtar. Sonya ChernovnaAmano ItoSora Nakoma

What the hell was going on?!
Miroru found herself pivoting from a relaxing day wandering from museum to museum interrupted by insanity. The fox's senses exploded with information. Gunfire. Blazes. Explosions. Energy discharges of all varieties across the spectrums she could sense. It was like the city had gone mad! She could see smoke and distant detonations, and something... something...
Something horrible.
She could sense it- or more, couldn't. There was a hole. A gaping chasm in the energy of the city, a hole devouring all the energy that passed nearby besides visible light. It was wrong in so many ways, and...
It was difficult to identify at a distance, but it had a lot in common with varieties of ionizing radiation. Anything exposed to that was going to be suffering from violent, rapid onset radiation sickness.
Miroru's blood drained from her face, and she started to run, every step carrying her into the sky as she sprinted up an invisible set of stairs to get up over the skyline and make a beeline for-
Oh, no.
Below, she saw someone spraying flames from their hands towards a city bus with melted tires. Taking a leap, she dropped a story at a time, taking another step to reset her descent as she rushed closer. She didn't hide her approach, letting the villain see her, turn the flames her way with a cackle, obscuring their own vision as-
Miroru blasted through the flames untouched and slammed into the villain with both feet, knocking loose every screw in their head as they fainted on the spot and collapsed, leaving Miroru to awkwardly stumble and run to throw open the bus door.
"Get someplace safe! The subways will probably be the most defensible places to take shelter! Hurry and get off the streets!"

Even if i become
Begin the Boss Fight! Ishtar's HP - [100%]
Ishtar's cold light spread a bit farther, the faint radiation touching all those it landed upon. Every second was another microdose from just being in her presence. Every second was a step towards pain and weakness. A slow, steady, inevitable decline. She stood right next to the heroine on her knees, her glowing eyes cast down at her from above. The ticking sound of the mechanisms only for Ishtar and Gleipnir to hear. Her eyes narrowed and she licked her lips at Gleipnir's bravado. "Isn't that your job, though?" She rasped, "To die so others can live?"
A sudden gust of wind, a sensor went off in one of her drones, her HUD alerting her to the change. She didn't turn her head, instead she turned the drones nearby towards the one that had been interfered with. It moved rapidly, in those seconds a few things happened. First, Dericho appeared. Second, a chain created by Gleipnir wrapped around Ishtar's glowing ankles, frost starting to immediately form on the metal. Third, Ishtar reacted.
Three constructs of pale white light formed on either side of her, they looked like medieval shields with bladed edges. One, on Gleipnir's side, crashed down towards the ground, aiming to sever the chain. The second formed to block the blast of wind that threatened to knock her over, the whirlwind howling around her ears. An aggressive attack indeed. The other stood firm behind her as the drone crashed into it. Ishtar did not take a step from where she was, instead she raised a hand up and pointed a finger at Dericho, the shield she'd protected herself with from his attack dissolving to make way for her own attack.
"Wind Dragon," Her death-rattle voice rasped through the respirator, she released a narrow thread of necrotic light, a death-ray aimed straight at his chest, just like the policeman before him. With a gesture she shoved the shield on Gleipnir's side forward in an attempt to slam it's painfully cold surface into her body, causing blunt trauma and terrible burns.
As she opened up with her first, trivial salvo, she raised her head high and let her voice tremble out across the area one more time along with the full weight of her presence. After that, she pushed her drones away to simply record the violence.

Ishtar was skilled; Sora could tell that from her reaction to everything happening around her. Barriers went up, courtesy of her Quirk. One to sever the chain Gleipnir wrapped around her, one to defend her from the drone hurtling towards her, and one to shield her from the wind. It was an impressive defensive effort; one that was as imposing and impressive as it was informative. He now knew another function of her powers. And as Ishtar spoke, showing that she knew who he was, he could tell she was going to use the first aspect of her power that he had seen on him; the way she pointed at him instantly called to mind the police officer she had murdered just minutes ago. He couldn’t let himself be hit by that; suffice to say it wouldn’t be pretty. Fortunately, the officer’s demise had given him valuable information. His own movement likely wouldn’t be fast enough to avoid the shot on his own at this distance, but a powerful gust of wind he summoned, seemingly with just a thrust of his hand, sent him off to the side and out of the way; her use of such a narrow beam made it easier to avoid, though from what he’d seen of its effects he still didn’t want to risk getting too close to it. As he dodged he also swung a hand down in the direction of Gleipnir and Sonya; a powerful gust of wind came down from above, between the heroine and villainess in an effort to help Gleipnir avoid Ishtar’s attempted shield bash. Still, it was clear that she was enjoying the attention as she gave another grandiose declaration, acting as though she were some sort of inevitable force. Sora’s eyes narrowed behind his goggles at her display of arrogance; treating this whole thing like a performance or game. An acrid smell danced on the wind, though from where he wasn’t sure. Dericho considered what he knew of their opponent and the current situation. The drones that had been filming Ishtar flew away farther; perhaps to avoid being used as projectiles again? It was still a dangerous situation. Their target had hardly moved save for her wild gesticulating. Already he had a couple of ideas he could do to turn things in their favor, but it would be too risky with the other hero so close. For now he needed to get Ishtar more separated. If they could manage that… He stood back up, and the wind around Sora began to whip and twist as he held his hands up, forming a swirling circle around him. Loose debris scattered across the rooftop was picked up by the fearsome wind, from random dirt and trash, to pieces of scrap from the destroyed drone that had smashed into the woman’s shield. It was his own barrier, of sorts, but protecting himself was not the actual intent. She knew who he was, or at least had an idea of what his Quirk could do. But that didn’t mean that she knew everything. ”Don’t be so quick to celebrate.” Sora warned Ishtar, speaking for the first time since his arrival with his eyes trained on the woman. His tone was serious and matter-of-fact, but burning with determination. Sadako Gotoh Amano Ito Miroru Sonya Chernovna

The light that Ishtar was radiating was bad news. Staying close to her for too long could probably prove just as fatal as getting hit by one of those light beams, at least that was the sense Sadako was getting. “No one in their right mind would sign up for a job just to die.” She smirked, suppressing the cold chills that were traveling down her spine. She squinted as Ishtar shaped some of her light into constructs, her chain severed in an instant as the bladed shield buried itself into the roof. So much for wrangling The White Queen. She had probably been too optimistic thinking she could do that anyway. No, if they wanted to arrest her they would have to wear her down first. Sadako’s eyes widened, as the shield began to move, so did she, but there was no way she was fast enough on her own. She couldn’t completely avoid the blow. Thankfully, Dericho was here too, and the gust of wind he commanded just narrowly helped her avoid a possibly fatal attack. If she had learned anything from observing Ishtar up close, it was that hand to hand was not going to cut it against such a dangerous ability. Remaining at midrange, Sadako conjured up a long chain with her left hand, grabbing ahold of it as she began spinning one end like a flail by rotating her wrist. Picking up speed, she would keep its momentum going before throwing the spinning end of the chain towards Ishtar, trying to bypass her big shields and whip against her back. Department of Heroes Freshman
The redheaded hero student ran back up onto the street after getting the civilians down into the subway, melting out of view again as she did her best to avoid getting clocked. Both to prevent her presence from being used against the heroes here in response to the villain attack, and also to avoid catching charges (or suspensions or demerits or whatever the school might levy!) for acting without authorization. Scampering along, she was getting closer and closer to that odd dim haze in her senses where the infrared energy was just being... depleted.
Closer up, she could see what was happening. Closer up, the energy became much more recognizable. It was not only cancelling out infrared radiation and removing heat from the solids it settled into, it was IONIZING.
Miroru was abruptly sick to her stomach at realizing that coming in hiding from the EM spectrum had likely accidentally spared her exposure to the carcinogenous energy aura. She could feel the shadow her presence cast in the waves of horrific energy, could sense the way it was pulsing not just against, but THROUGH the civilians, villains, and heroes present.
She knew better than to volunteer herself as a target, as potential hostage-bait for the White Queen. She needed to trust in the heroes to do the real work here in chasing off or subduing her, but-
-she could help protect everyone else.
She knew well that interfering with the deliberate output created by the Queen would draw attention. She was trying frantically to find a way to help without compromising the ability of the Pro Heroes to engage without having to worry about an extra body on the field. But she found one, a very, very simple one.
All the subtle radiation that the White Queen put out started to sift downwards rapidly after leaving her body, burying the cancerous radiation into the concrete underfoot. It wouldn't work forever- the radiation, after all, leeched heat, and before long, the concrete would be inexplicably colder sooner and faster than the White Queen would know her presence allowed for- and in a far smaller area, for that matter- but it would all be done subtly, simply safeguarding the heroes and others from the constant bombardment, that gradual death sentence.
As for her actual attacks... the pros would have to handle that themselves.
Miroru is invisible, and burying the PASSIVE radiation that Ishtar puts off in the concrete around the area! She is not interfering with the fight itself, simply insulating everyone but Ishtar from her cancer cloud's FURTHER effects!
I can pay no price too great for justice.

Even if i become
Ishtar's HP - [95%]
A sudden gust of wind carried Dericho out of the reach of her necrotic ray, her eyes narrowing a little while a smile crossed her lips beneath the mask. Good. Another gust of wind came from above, just in time to push Gleipnir out of the way of her grinding attack. The shield shoved through empty space, leaving a trail of damaged concrete behind it. Ishtar had already let the matter slide, the drones feeding her the information she needed about her surroundings to react appropriately. She still hadn't taken a step-
WOOOSH!
A powerful wind ripped up from beneath her... Dericho, debris rose into the air as he built up for his next attack, the small debris that skipped off the ground flung themselves in Ishtar's direction. She smirked, was he trying to get her to take a step? She broke out into laughter and let the glow suffusing her body intensify. The tiniest debris disintegrated while a few struck her, though she paid it little mind. Motes of light erupted from her shoulders and formed tiny balls in the air. "Good boy! Struggle for me more!" She mocked him, her fingers curling as the spheres of light began to compress.
Metal drove through the air, the sound of rattling chains intensifying to a fever pitch. The drones spotted Sadako making her own move. Ishtar let her shield fall from behind her, turning her head. She twisted her body and raised her arm, letting the chain strike her. There was some pain, but she let the chain wrap around her wrist. She tilted her head forward and smiled with her eyes at Gleipnir, "You're so cute," She said with a breathy sigh that sounded like a dead-man's rasp. She used her free hand to embed a spike of light in the ground and grab onto it, denying Gleipnir mobility.
Around her, the motes of light finished compressing, dozens of needles of pale light erupting into the air and scattering like a dozen pin grenades. The glowing needle spray covered the area, though many of them, as they were physical objects, were pushed away by Dericho's wind.

Ishtar cackled, befitting the witch she was, as the debris kicked up by Sora's wind began to pelt her. To be perfectly honest, that hadn't been a priority of his at all; if anything, seeing how easily her power dealt with the tiniest of the mess swirling around in the air just served as more information. It wasn't everything that hit her; some smaller bits were still able to strike her, but it wasn't nearly enough to actually put her on the back foot. A fact she was well aware of as she taunted him, forming spheres of that same sickening light as she encouraged him to continue his struggle. At this, even the serious Dericho couldn't help but let the tiniest of smiles crack across his face, though the fierce wind and debris made it all but impossible to see. "Struggling, am I? You just go on thinking that, Ishtar." He thought to himself as Gleipnir pressed the attack. The girl swung another chain towards the villainess, who allowed it to catch her wrist and cooed at her opponent in a tone equal parts fond and menacing as she used a spike of her odd energy to anchor herself to the ground. The balls of light began to compress, and Sora had an idea of what was coming. Fortunately the smallest of her attacks were dispersed harmlessly by his wind, but in preparation for the others he commanded the wind to shield him in their directions with the debris he had lifted. He wanted to protect his fellow hero as well, but he didn't want to risk impeding her while she was connected to their foe and just had to hope that Ishtar's attacks wouldn't be as targeted near herself. His eyes fell on the spike Ishtar had planted in the rooftop... that could work. Sora made a show of raising his hand into the air, in the hopes that Gleipnir would get an idea of what he was about to do, and then slammed it down. A fierce blast of wind rushed from directly above Ishtar, aiming for her arm holding the spike specifically. He couldn't use his full plan yet, but he could pave the way for it; with winds precise enough to make leaves dance through the air and powerful enough to smash through buildings, it was a trivial matter for him to break just the surface where Ishtar's anchor was planted. And if her arm suffered from the force too, well... that would just be a nice bonus. Sadako Gotoh Amano Ito Miroru Sonya Chernovna
