''Yeah, that's what a hater would say.'' She wasn't done being mad at Sho for taking her out of the fight, but at least they were going to rejoin it soon. ''Really? Bomb Bestie will reward me?'' She took his words at face value, absolutely believing Retsu had something in store for her until Facade's voice came through their communications. ''Woah!! Really? I'll become a trillionaire!'' She grinned eagerly. She could buy out all of Japan and turn it into her personal amusement park! Wait no, why stop at Japan? Why not buy the entire world? Then no one could tell her what to do anymore! She was already getting ready to go back out there. Knife? Check. Evil scary glare that was going to scare all the cops? Check. Evil laughter? As if she needed to practice that ahead of time. She was a pro! Check. ''Oh, he's saying we'll become rich if we kill them all.'' She relayed to Sho with a thumbs up.

She had gotten the go ahead to play distraction and there was guaranteed to be a ton of cops out front, meaning she was definitely just going to take the front door and plunge herself into the chaos. Maybe she could even get her hands on a gun if she was lucky. Then, another warning came in from Facade. ''Hooligan? Why would I care about a hooligan.'' She didn't get it, hooligans were just loud and angry, but they weren't particularly strong. The other person that was with them, however, sparked much of an interest in Rui. ''Bubblegum hair? Can I eat it?'' She didn't care about the answer, she was going to try anyway.

''The money comes to me!'' She exclaimed excitedly as the three officers barged in, only to immediately slump over from the stun round that hit her. Unfortunately for the good guys, stun rounds didn't keep her down for long, and when Retsu shot a bullet through the riot shield and into the first cop's helmet, she used the opportunity to make her way over and stab him through a weak spot in his armor to ensure the kill. ''That one is mine, that counts as mine!'' No one was there to dispute her, or even witness what happened, but she was going to tell Facade/Loki all about it later! She never told any lies so he would have to believe her. ''Use real bullets, losers! Not that it'll help you!'' She taunted the two remaining officers before engaging them, trying to stab them both as quickly as possible so she could get out onto the streets where all the fun was happening.

TL;DR: Rui is amused by Facade's proposed reward and convinced to go fight while ignoring Retsu and Sho's argument. She only relays to Sho that they will get rich if they kill cops and heroes. She mishears Ghouligan as Hooligan and asks Facade if Jaida's bubblegum hair is edible. When the three cops invade Wired, she's immediately hit by a stun round, going down momentarily before stabbing and killing one of the officers thanks to Retsu distracting them. She then attacks the two remaining officers, hoping to get out onto the streets.

That was one whole friggin' gold star on the checklist for not making someone uncomfortable in her book, woooooo!

Though, before she could get to work by using their small window of time to quickly prep for the gimmick she had in mind, like fully realize it as best as she could...they got unwanted company. When she saw Ghouligan look towards the sky, that's when she fiiiiiiiiiinally noticed the lil drone hanging out. Unsure who it belonged to, she wasn't about to accidentally flip off the fuzz or destroy their equipment! ESPECIALLY when she was attempting to pretend to be a Pro-Hero in the VERY near future. There was no way in hell she'd risk it for the biscuit like that!

So instead, she threw up a peace sign and grinned, chuckling at the thought of possibly being on camera...which was honestly kiiiiiiiiiind of terrifying! But hey, ya know what? At least the way she got herself ready for vigilante nonsense, her face shape was different enough to throw off her family and facial recognition software...so yaaaaay...? No real risk of getting recognized by da fuzz or her family and keep living separate lives without all the drama llamas! A PLATINUM LEVEL PLUS, IF YOU ASKED HER!

Long live being able to live a normal life outside of this!

Turning to look towards the goons threatening them, cause oh boy howdy she couldn't just ignore them, could she?! The scrawniest tank known to herself cleared her throat and tossed on a British accent before saying, "PEACE OUT, GIRL SCOUTS!" Smacking her boots as the wheels popped on out as she got the heck out of dodge to head into the fray. Rapidly moving one leg in front of the other to pick up momentum as she zoomed around, past the officer and downed Pro-Hero heading to the alley way she was literally just in to nab a megaphone from a downed officer and their gun. What kinda bullets it had, she didn't know...but she really hadn't the intention of ordering up a fresh McMurder for anyone unless there as a last resort.

No no, this was going to be used as a tool in more ways than one.

Non-Lethal shots were the name of the game when using it to censor herself and self-defense...that was acceptable for Pro-Heroes as far as she was concerned. This was a whole lot of chaos in a hell basket, more than she was used to, but she had to be insanely distracting so that meant meeting the energy surrounding her and then some...which made her crazy ass plan all the more better. Skating around, bobbing and weaving, pivoting while adjusting the strap around her wrist so the megaphone wouldn't fall off, she felt the rhythm in her head and would ride the wave for all those who needed her to keep all that shit together.

Picking up moment to shoulder check some thug off balance, she booped their ankle with the tip of her foot and when they fell on their back like a turtle, she held up the megaphone, practically screaming into it, "ELLO, LOVES N' THUGS! NAME'S PUNK BAE, YAH MUSICAL UNHINGED HERO! LET'S F--" Popping a cap into the downed thugs shoulder, point blank to censor herself, "--KIN GO WI' 'IS CONCAHT! FO'GOT MY GUI'AR, BUT F--" A stray shot to some random thug's leg "-K IT! WE BALL, YAH?! C'MON!" Skating around while doing a whole ass guitar, a moving and difficult to hit target who was dancing around with absolutely no reason...but she certainly had some solid moves at least, "MMMMAH-NYA-NNNA-NAH-NAH-NA-NAH! BAH-DAH-D-D-DAH-NYYYYYYYRRRRRRRAAAAH! MMMMAH-NYA-NNNA-NAH-NAH-NA-NAH! BAH-DAH-D-D-DAH-NYYYYYYYRRRRRRRAAAAH!"

Hearing Retsu's response to Sho's suggestion, facade was completely thrown off. She... didn't want to run? The plan wasn't to help her escape?? Well, honestly, what did he expect? This is Bakuretsu, for Christ's sake. The living safety hazard. The woman who would hear 'throw caution to the wind' and go find a hurricane to chase. A woman who plays with fire despite her burn scars. A logical error that his cautious mind could not comprehend nor resolve.
The plan was to kill the cops until their VIP here was satisfied? Sure! "You heard the lady! Let me know when you wanna get going, and if you need me to help with anything."

Snapping back to paying attention, Loki looked back at the camera feed from his drone just in time to be (indirectly) looked in the eyes by Ghouligan's mask. Then by Gadget, as she veered off to begin her 'pro hero' act. Loki's attention then was somewhat split between the sudden confrontation in the alleyway, the police officer's rush to said alleyway and Gadget rushing off to do her whole 'pro hero' thing. He figured the group who decided to mess with the vigilante directly were about to be victims of natural selection, so moved the drone out towards the street a little so he could better observe the shop itself. Rui's mishearing of 'hooligan' was more confusing than anything given (as far as he knew) she only spoke Japanese, but he simply ignored that for now. No, what was more interesting was the follow-up question. "No, I meant bubblegum-col... Y'know what, nevermind. I don't know their Quirk. Maybe you can eat it, why don't you go try? They should be coming up right outside." Not the most useful thing for Rui to be doing, but it would be funny.

He could hear 'Punk Bae' from where he was sitting a good distance away, thanks to her megaphone, and it certainly seemed like she wanted all eyes on her as she entered. Unfortunate for the two goons she shot as punctuation, but Aiden couldn't help but wonder if she was playing distraction for something. If so, what? He'd seen the vigilante, but surely they knew that cover was blown if they saw his drone??

Oh good. Prideful and quirkless. Truly a woman with a death wish. Sho thought to himself how easy it would be at that moment to grant this wish and just cut her down. Rui might be a little bummed, but she would manage and with his moral system in play Retsu would do more harm then good in the world so killing herwould be justified. For a brief moment, this malice was palpable, he wasn't particularly bothered by what she said more just weighing the pros and cons in his head. "Suit yourself. Mummy, she's all yours." Sho would use the extended arm and pull himself up and through the ceiling. To them, he had left the battlefield. [break][break]

In reality he had another motivation. The implications of Ghouligan and Gadget killing Retsu is what kept him around. In a 2 on 2 fight he had not doubt that they would end up winning and from what he'd heard about Ghouligan's exploits he wasn't exactly adverse to murder. As for Gadget who knows, but she likely could hold her own against both Rui and Retsu at the same time.[break][break]

Sho would quickly scout the area until he found the alleyway that Ghouligan was in. He would watch as he effortlessly dispatched of the grunts sent to deal with him. 'I'll just keep him busy' he thought as he drew his blade and switched it to it's nodachi form. Stepping over the edge he would fall silently, aiming to land in front of Ghouligan assuming he didn't leave the area. If successful, he would point his blade at his head. "You must be lost."

"Not on our side then!" Lizard-head shouted with a gleeful grin before charging at Ghouligan. "Get him boys, that bounty is ours!"

With a fierce war cry that wasn't compensating for their level of skill in the slightest they rushed at Ghouligan without a care for their own safety, much like how Mummy was fighting the two cops just inside Wired's front door. The wild swings of her knife made it difficult in the extreme for the two officers with rifles to retaliate at close range, one going down before the second managed to line up their barrel enough to fire a burst vaguely in her direction while stepping between his fallen comrade and the threat at hand, he himself leaking blood from several injuries as well.

At the same time Retsu returned from her workshop, dragging a red motorcycle along with her back into the storefront. Witnessing the carnage Mummy wrought within her home and the notable absence of Gyrfalcon her lips curled into a mock smile. Something deep within stung but she ignored it. It was no surprise after all. Were her veins not still filled with cold anger she might have snorted. It was the exact reason she didn't bother to connect to people.

She cast a rueful glance back through her workshop and at the closed door to the part of the building she called home. People always either leave or make a giant mess. Pointedly not thinking about things she pulls off her eyepatch and scrunched it within her left fist, slamming both into the security keypad behind the counter. A blaring noise resounded followed by red lights all throughout the building beginning to flash. It was time to go. Adjusting her bandolier so the ENKI phone was held close enough to her face that Facade could hear her clearly she addressed both him and Rui -should she still be in the building-, a stray thought making her wonder whether he'd patched her through to the rest of their forces as well. When she spoke it was coldly, her voice uncharacteristically empty of emotion.

“Here’s the thing. Ah dunno what the fook’s the cops out dere think they’re doin’ but laws are threats made bah the people that think dey're in charge of the place. It’s a promise a’ violence if ya don’ do as dey say and the pigs ‘re just their occupying army.” She revved her bike and cast a brief glance back before continuing. “Y’all wanna make some bacon?”

As Gyrfalcon landed near Ghouligan, Haruka continued to desperately drag Deadlock to safety and 'Punk Bae' put on her show another sound rang out. That of shattering glass as a red motorcycle crashed through the Wired's front window and onto the scene, its purple-haired rider holding onto handle with one hand while her other swung out in a wide arc. On her middle finger was a ring to which a cord had been fastened, said cord in turn having been tied around the pins of more than a dozen grenades. When she swung the pins stayed and the grenades flew off, a veritable cluster of bombs heading for all of the combatants, one even flying so high it was on a collision course with the drone. Light shone from the heavens above.

"Heroes never fall!"

The light condensed into several beams, landing on both the drone, goons, police and Gadget alike and forming into a series of golden, spherical shields. Their effect was almost immediately demonstrated when the first grenade made contact with the shield around Facade's drone, causing it to crackle and incinerate the grenade with a bright ray of light. The proceeding cascade of explosions claimed exactly zero victims, dozens more of the lasers pierced through the ensuing smoke wherever shrapnel made contact with one of the spheres before they dissipated. 

From above the hero responsible descended upon golden wings, adorned in Nordic armor and wielding a spear tipped by a yellow crystal surrounded by four curved bars not unlike the flange of a mace. 

"The Retaliating Hero: Guardian Valkyrie has arrived."

"Three minutes, ey?" Retsu said with a sneer, her eyes passing over 'Punk Bae' and Guardian Valkyrie as she did. She wasn't even going to humor thinking about the latter of the two. Seriously, what manner of mockery was it for someone with a name like that to show up? Unfortunately for Retsu the new arrival took her words as an invitation to continue speaking.

"You villains are not the only ones to have learned from Operation Babel. We know your petty group’s capabilities and can plan around them accordingly. Today we shall capture the head of the snake."

A snort forced its way out of Bakuretsu's throat, booming into mocking laughter that echoed through the surroundings. One hand tightened around the handle of her motorcycle to keep herself steady while the other pulled a grenade free of her harness, ready to be thrown at whoever came at her first. Her lips curled into a maniacal grin once her laughter died down, ridicule clear in her tone when she looked up at the hero.

"You think ah'm in charge?!"

Committed to the bit, she noticed not only the siren girl getting a little stab happy at the door...errrrr at least what she could see of it! "MYRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR--OI! LES' CHANGE THE TEMPO!" Whatever that was supposed to mean...! Releasing the megaphone as it hung from her wrist, she skated to grab another gun and.....oh yup that's when friggin' HELL'S ANGEL over here burst out and, "Awh sh-" Pulling the trigger with the gun in hand loosely facing some thug close to her, who screeched about their spleen, "-t." Slipping into a squat, she sloooowly scooted across the ground and was slowing to a stop as things felt oddly slow motion...

...sort of like someone should have been playing goofy ass opera music or Ave Maria...something real goddamn dramatic as the grenades were starting to rain down. Though the cry of an all too familiar catch phrase smacked her ear drums while they were all protected from having death rain down from above. Padding the ground she puffed her cheeks while feeling around for another gun and...OOP!

Found one!

Scooping up the pistol as the two bantered for a moment, she pushed herself up to her feet with a hop....the Pro-Heroes were aiming to get the head of the snake and thought the Wired shop lady was the leader...?

Seriously?

This seemed like some rag tag squad, mish mashed like a job interview for villains or something...but she'd have to play along. "Oi oi, luv, no need tah be shy ovah it, yeah?" Smirking to match her cocky delivery with god's most shitty American actor take on the British accent that almost sounded like MAYBE it wanted to be Australian, she winked and began pulling the triggers to the beat in THE LEADER LADY™'s direction, skating with a twirl as she fired towards some other thugs trying to thwart her. All the shots non-lethal JUUUUUUUUST in case since she wasn't here to make a rendition of Slaughter Your World, "UH HUUUH, THIS MY SH-"

Oh yup, she's gotta be consistent and censor herself with stray shots, "-T! ALL THE GIRLS, STOMP YOUR FEET LIKE THIS~!" Wow what great timing! Another random thug charged at her, so she paused the shots and stomped her wheels down with a swoooooop at the guy's feet while wiggling her hips. Clearly she was having a fantastic enough time trying to act like a musically themed Pro-Hero, it was the least she could do to sell the image!

The rifle bullets sank into her and pushed her back a couple of feet. ''Ouch it hurts! NOT!!'' She grinned wickedly, charging at the last officer to end his life so she could join up with the others outside. ''Sick ride, bestie!'' She called out to Retsu as she wrestled the rifle from the dead police officer. It was heavy for her, but that probably meant it had some real strong pew pews in it. ''Really?!'' She exclaimed excitedly into her ENKI earpiece. ''A maybe is a yes! I'm gonna eat it!''

''Yeah!! I like bacon!'' She didn't understand most of what Retsu was saying, but she was always onboard with creating some chaos and killing some people. Especially now that Sho had allowed it.

As she made her way outside she grinned, rifle in hand as a hero arrived on the scene. It was the perfect scenario for her, she was going to do something super cool! ''Your FACE is a snake!'' She shouted back at Valkyrie, spinning the rifle around with some effort as she addressed Facade directly once more. ''Loki Bestie, check this out!! I'm gonna kill the hero!'' She ran forward, firing a bullet from the rifle which took a wide arc above Valkyrie, hitting no one as the recoil sent Rui slamming back first into the nearest wall. Taking a moment to recover, she tossed the rifle aside and brought out her knife again, looking everyone over to find the edible culprit. ''Which one of you has bubblegum hair?!''

TL;DR: Rui kills the last officer and takes his rifle, follows Retsu outside and takes a shot at Valkyrie, missing and sending herself flying into the nearest wall. She then throws the rifle aside, takes out her knife and starts looking for Jaida.

One by one, they fell.

Without an ounce of hesitation nor a pound of uncertainty, Ghouligan slaughtered the criminals. They would have been spared in another universe — they were hardly worthwhile in their own right. Aside from their resolve, they were your average, low-level crooks. They were physically unimposing and sloppy in their attacks. The only problem they offered was the abundance of openings they had left Antoine.

Their capsized skulls slammed into the ground, lifeless. And before Ghouligan could leave the alley and run into the building, a shadowy figure descended from the sky. The way they held their blade spoke volumes…

“I’m just heading home.” Antoine pointed to Retsu’s house. A house that clearly wasn’t his. A house that was under attack. “It’s that way.”

He was almost patronizing. But de-escalating the situation was what was most important. Gadget was capable and he had faith she’d hold her on, but who’s to say the house didn’t explode? Who’s to say Ghouligan hadn’t condemned her to an early grave? There was already blood on his hands, but usually, it was worth it.

“I’ll be going?”

It was a delicate situation to say the least. On one hand he didn't actually want to fight or hurt Ghouligan as he genuinely believed in his cause and even his own methods of not holding back when needed. Heroes were the ones who needed to protect and process criminals, after all. Vigilantism meant that you needed to take the necessary actions to eliminate crime not just subdue it. However, he did recognize Ghouligan as a legitimate threat which meant that letting him get to Rui who was reckless was a bad combination. He couldn't think of anything worse than the two meeting, as it would likely end up with him having to pick a side. Not good. [break][break]

His shadow-obscured red eyes would narrow at Ghouligan's jest. He didn't move a single muscle, trying to determine the best way to be a deterrent in the whole situation. If Gadget was already inside there wasn't much that could be done with that, but he could redirect Ghouligan by force if he had to. [break][break]

"Yes, you will." he brandished his weapon, gesturing to the open space behind Ghouligan and away from the warehouse. "You can either leave the way you came or end up in pieces. I don't show mercy more than once." this was very much true; there were a very small amount of people he would give second chances to. [break][break]

A lot of action happened in a very short space of time. Confined (for now) to observing from a distance, Aiden struggled to keep up with everything going on. First, his attention was drawn to Sho as he left the store and went off towards Ghouligan's alleyway. "Hey, Capricorn, where the fuck is Minotaur going?" The survival of Sho wasn't really Loki's priority right now, so he decided to leave that whole mess alone. Next, Retsu bursting out on her motorcycle. Wait, so she is leaving now? "Bacon? Sure, I'll let you cook. I'll make sure your escape route is secure."

For this, Aiden would have to tap into the CCTV camera networks along the roads, outside the range of his drone. Before this could happen, however, his eye in the sky was rocked by a sudden (diminished) blast. "Hey, watch your aim! Can't help if you take out my drone, d-" then, another interruption. He became aware of the forcefield that had protected his drone seconds before he located Guardian Valkyrie. Flight and hardlight shields? Aiden made a note to contact this hero after this whole ordeal was over. For now, though, she was an obstacle. One who'd been dumb enough to think his drone was on her side. Dumb enough to gloat. In a distorted voice, he tapped into whatever the hero had been using to communicate with fellow heroes and the police. "Clearly, you haven't learnt shit. You didn't get the head of the snake, you got its fangs. Now, you'll get the bite!" There was a burst of very loud, very high-pitched feedback as Loki flooded the audio device with it.

What would happen if two of her shields were to collide? Loki was about to find out, as he used this deafening smokescreen to cover the noise of his drone as it flew full-speed into Guardian Valkyrie's back. Aiden very quickly switched to infiltrating the nearby cameras, jumping between them as he approached the scene again. What else did he need to take care of? Right, the other 'hero'. If Popstep (or whatever her name was) was a sound-themed hero, then she'd likely have a sound-based Quirk. So, he figured he should reduce her ability to generate noise. The loudspeaker she was holding, along with those of the rest of the cops, would quickly be disabled. "Thank fuck, that was getting annoying." The final attention-grabber was Rui, as she blasted herself into a wall with a gun that was definitely too big for her to handle. Loki was clearly stifling laughter as he spoke up. "Hey, Capricorn? What's with the rifle? You taking up target shooting?" Sure enough, she dropped it and switched back to the knife. No further comment.

Few battles had drawn out moves, elaborate strategies or twenty-step plans of action to get to the desired result. Sure, all of that could come before. But when the pieces were down conflict was short, brutal and messy. Seconds that changed lifetimes. Too quick to properly react to yet to too important to fail at. Sometimes short moments of inaction sneak in when the unexpected happens, when everyone's minds struggle to catch up to the scene. The moment they did though, all hell would break loose. For the raid on Wired that moment had arrived.

Too much went on for any one person to grasp at the time. Only afterwards through analyzing camera footage and taking witness statements could those climactic moments be pieced together. 

The moment Retsu finished speaking gunfire came her way, plonking off the side of her motorcycle and forcing her to leap off as one hit the gas tank and consumed the vehicle in a blaze. Guardian Valkyrie flinched at the same time at the words entering her ears, her shield's brightness intensifying in response to the perceived threat. It was to no avail, for why would the guardian prevent those under her protection from nearing each other? 

When the drone flew at her its own shield allowed it to slip right through hers, the impact against Guardian Valkyrie's back resounding with a crack not unlike that of the bullets below. She barreled towards the ground, crashing bonelessly with a thud that was lost in the surrounding chaos.

As Retsu rolled to her feet her thoughts moved independently from her actions. She wondered whether her end would come like this too. Unexpectedly from the back, through a chink in her defenses that would only be there through trusting another enough to let them in. Once more she reaffirmed her intent to never let anyone that close.

Another grenade was pulled from her harness mid-roll. As she rose to her feet her other hand moved to remove the pin when she spotted something from the corner of her eye, near a certain alley. A spinning orb flying her way. Her hands were faster. The pin came loose and she pulled it back just before the orb hit, trapping the primed grenade in the palm of her hand. Deadlock's wide eyes met her own as he realized the mistake in his timing. 

If he didn't cancel it she'd lose her hand, if he did she could throw it and even worse if he cancelled it at the wrong time she'd blow up entirely. Retsu wasn't willing to take the risk of him undoing it at the wrong time. She was no stranger to making sacrifices to attain her goals and what was one hand compared to her life? Like a bull spotting a red flag she charged forward, rushing towards Deadlock in the hopes his self-preservation instincts would be stronger than his heroic ones or worse, his spite. Her path would take her in between where Punk Bae was standing and where Guardian Valkyrie had fallen to further skew the odds in her favor. Facing the alley she spotted Ghouligan and Gyrfalcon within.

'Huh, guess he didn't leave after all.'

Retsu wondered if perhaps Deadlock would release the orb if she motioned to throw the grenade away from the conflict. Even if the timing was slightly off and she got caught in the blast she'd likely survive what with Mummy being present. But could she rely on that? Was that not the very thing she'd questioned mere moments before? Perhaps she could. Yeah, just take the risk of potentially dying instead of the guarantee of losing her hand. Her jaw clenched. No, that wasn't in the cards for her. She'd been burned one too many times. Sure, maybe she could take the chance. Maybe she even should.

But she wouldn't.

Wrapped up in a bundle of lots of things, she was trying to watch out for herself, be god's strongest distraction to try and keep attention from Ghouls WHILE helping the very clearly losing team over here! There were dead people all around her, Pro-Heroes riding the struggle bus express and yet...she was still trying to help as much as she could.

Although she didn't have the fancy title of being a real Pro-Hero, nor would she ever, it didn't mean she wasn't her own brand of hero. Most people would think that they were a failure from all the losses...but the thing is, they were keeping the chaos contained to this location rather than letting it spread further. Or maybe that's because those on the opposing side wanted it that way, too...

...it was hard to tell, but she was going to take whatever W's she could get in this place!

A happy accident in destroying the motorcycle which THANKFULLY didn't backfire, but that was all thanks to their local shield generator! Thankfully they had that going for them, so you know what? IT COULD BE WORSE, but it wasn't as bad!

Stopping in place from her goofy little dance routine, she watched the blur of someone getting MYOOOM'D into a wall when a gunshot rang out and--oh that wasn't good. "Wuh..."

Like a cat watches a laser pointer, she allowed her gaze to follow the arch for a moment and slooooowly looked away from the explosion behind her. Barbie pink pigtails danced about with the breeze and she let out a lil pop noise before turning towards Guardian Valkyrie, "WELL, tha' sure was crazy, e--" AAAAAND.....A DRONE SMACKED HER IN THE SPINE.

BONES CRACK-A-LACKIN' THEN SHE WAS JUST DOWN...

Blinking a few times, this was normally the part where she should run.

They probably thought she was gonna run.

Hide.

Maybe scream and cry or something.

Shuffling off to the side as the head of the snake bolted on by between her and the very much not waking up any time soon Guardian Valkyrie, LEEEEEEEAAAAAAAANING away as her lips were stretched across her face like a total muppet. If she was capable of sweating, she'd be sweating bullets right now...but thankfully her rubbery biology just covered her ass in more ways than one. Blinking a few times, she wasn't sure if it was a good idea to chase after a singular person running away when there was still someone with blood literally all over their hands trying to find her.

Well...she had two guns in her mitts so...

THE SHOW MUST CONTINUE!

Shooting a quick glance towards the best siren impersonator known to Japan and then towards the purple haired menace, she would direct her guns in those respective directions. "Sooooooo AAAANYWAY--" Noticing that her megaphone wasn't amplifying the sound of her voice...she squinted for a moment and noticed a wireless connection sort of logo on it and--okay that's why it wasn't working. Some goofus doofus hacked it somehow thanks to it being wireless...well that ruined the bit a little, but that's fine!

Pulling triggers back to the beat, she just SANG LOUDER, "A FEW TIMES I'VE BEEN 'ROUND THAT TRACK SO IT'S NOT JUST GONNA HAPPEN LIKE THAT~--" Each shot was loosely directed towards the oni girl and the purple haired hot potato holder champion, trying not to go for anything lethal since damn...she wasn't trying to order them a McMurder despite everything. At worst, she wanted to figure out what their major malfunction was in hurting so many folks over...well...what, even?

Was there a method to the madness?

They had to have a good reason, or at least a somewhat valid one...even if she didn't agree, right?

"CAUSE I AIN'T NO HOLLABACK GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURL! I AIN'T NO HOLLABACK GUUUUUUUUUUURL~!" Commit to the bit for a while longer, skating around in a dance while trying to keep her rhythmical shots somewhat trained on the seemingly more dangerous folks and be a little more difficult to hit. Hopefully Ghouls was doing okay on his end and doing a backdoor sneak attack...otherwise, she was as good as alone here and may have to change it up.

Too bad she didn't realize those guns were running low....

TLDR

[Ghouligan]

Ghouligan wasn’t alone.

He very specifically had been called by an ally — the closest thing to a friend he had since arriving in Japan. Unless you count having an understanding boss or a go-to doctor as ‘your friend.’ But this relationship was particularly different. With the other two, he didn’t need to compromise his values or put his mission at risk. Well, aside from his deal with Bernard, that was a matter of circumstance. He signed up for a bad deal because he thought he’d be in and out of this country.

With Gadget, there was an equal dynamic. They were peers in the fields of vigilantism. But they occupied different roles. Antoine was a killer. His hands were sullied by blood. Maybe this was a faulty assumption, but with how she dealt with the dragon and the following conversation, she wasn’t the same strain of vigilante as he or Dion.

And that needed to be protected.

Once you kill someone, there is something about you that changes forever. You learn one of two things: you can stomach it or you can’t.

For someone like her, someone who brings much-needed levity into the world, someone who sought to build... Antoine would hate to see her lose a part of her soul.

So, when the swordsman told him to leave the way he came, he did. It wasn’t out of fear or because he thought he’d get a better positional advantage by taking the space — not that those thoughts didn’t cross his mind — but because there was one thing he valued above killing those who deserved to die.

“Yeah, I mean it’s this way.” Antoine walks back the way he came until he turns and is presumably out of sight. Then, he immediately bolts and scales up the side of the building. Gotta get to Gadget.

Sho would make a mental note to never respond to another ENKI notification ever again. His loyalty was to himself and to his siblings, as stupid as that was, and no one else. Retsu had been nothing but trouble from the moment she met but unlike the specific brand of idiot Rui was, she was not immortal. In fact she had proven herself very mortal over and over again.[break][break]

Still, unwilling to compromise when it came to the demands of having Ghouligan leave Sho kept his blade raised as Ghouligan relented and "left". Once he was certain their would be no sneak attack Sho would put his weapon away and was about to reenter the building in order to keep Jaida from getting herself killed. Her sister was persistent and didn't listen to anyone but him and their siblings so if she wanted to kill Jaida it wasn't an if but a when. Just as he was about to move back through the wall his phone would buzz, the real one he used as Gyrfalcon, and he took a moment to read the message he received. A 5 Star Bounty came up and the request for elimination of the target would come with a bonus. 'Perfect timing' Sho thought to himself as he accepted the job and then would text Rui "Leaving for work. Don't get yourself arrested." and sent that along. Rui wasn't at any risk of death but if she did get thrown in jail she would likely spend more time there then she would hope.[break][break]

Slowly sinking into the ground using his quirk Sho was out. Perhaps things would work out, and no one would die. Well, not that it mattered to him. All he knew was that if a brawl broke out, was there a potential of him losing even with Ghouligan and Gadget here?[break][break]

Nah, he'd win.

Things just keep getting worse. Why did his liability of an ally have to be such a stubborn prick? Why did the bike have to blow up? Why had two 'heroes' shown up early along with one of the most notorious vigilantes in the city?! As Aiden watched Retsu leap from her escape vehicle and stumble to her feet, he could only despair. Was this finally a lost cause? Was he about to lose an ally? Had this rescue effort been a waste of his fucking time?
No.

The sound of cracking bone caused Aiden's attention to jolt over to his drone's camera feed. It... hit? Expecting some kind of explosion (or at least his drone to be totaled), Loki was entirely surprised as Guardian Valkyrie fell to the ground, un-moving. "Some fucking hero, ha!" That fancy Quirk, hero training, shields, but none of that saved her! Valkyrie diff. That might just have been his first hero kill, a prospect that was both thrilling and terrifying to the incognito villain. Just in case the Lesser Valkyrie wasn't dead, though, Aiden quickly called a few ambulances to the scene. Any hero with a hardlight Quirk was of great interest to him.

Alright, one major threat down. The police would most likely cut their losses if their hero backup was down and the target was escaping, he thought. Wait, one? Where was... there's Deadlock. Of course that cocky cape had gotten back up, but what a poor choice of target. The one among the villains who could do the most potential damage in the shortest amount of time, if his timing or concentration were off. Speaking of concentration... surely it wouldn't work twice, right? Retsu's hand was pretty much forfeit, unfortunate, but what did that mean? If Deadlock was fully focused on the literal timebomb in front of him, then he was vulnerable. Loki had taken control of the drone back and, using the falling G. Valkyrie as cover, maneuvered it so it was a decent distance behind the forcefield hero.
As soon as that grenade went off, and thus as soon as Retsu was not at immediate threat of death, it'd head forward full speed aimed at the back of that smug bastard's head.

Next on the priority list, the 'hero' who was still shooting up his allies and shouting a rendition of a 96-year-old song. Pretty sure he was the only other one here who spoke English, Aiden had to wonder what the point was. Either way, he'd observed the bubblegum-haired gun bunny on her phone earlier, so an idea on how to deal with her had already been sparked. Hacking the device was a simple matter, as was rigging the phone's firmware to make its battery overheat. It began to get hotter and hotter wherever Jaida was keeping it, and could catch fire or even explode if she wasn't careful. Once this was done, he spoke up over ENKI's comms again. "Hey, Capricorn. That hero you wanted to take a bite out of should be right in front of ya. She'll be a little distracted, so now's your shot!" He had learned that their resident doctor was very easy to excite, like a puppy, and so he figured she was the best bet to keep 'Punk Bae' busy if not take her out.

What next, what next? Loki, tapping back into the CCTV networks of the area, decided to check back in with Ghouligan's alleyway. What he saw wasn't especially encouraging. "Oh, and a couple more things. Looks like Minotaur's fucked off somewhere? Can't find them. The ghoul's still here, though! He's enroute towards you guys, I'll look for an escape route but be on your fucking guards." As he promised, Loki scanned the area for potential methods of getting out of this rapidly-escalating situation. They needed a vehicle and a route that'd take them away from the crowded and fast-responding inner city.
A police car! There were a number of them in the area, and they were reinforced enough to be relatively-undamaged from the multitude of grenade blasts and bullets. They were packed full of tech, meaning he could more easily take control away from the cops and override any speed limiters or remote controls. Smart vehicles were his favourite. Seeing some figures approaching in the distance down one road, he suggested his plan. "Got it. Better Valkyrie, Capricorn! You should take one of the cop cars, I can disable the tracking and get it running. Take the road in the opposite direction to those heroes on the horizon. I'll blackout the streets in front of you and Capricorn can get to fixing that hand. Trust me on this!"

After all the effort and resources he'd put into this rescue, was he gonna let some cops and D-tier wannabe symbols of peace ruin this? Was he gonna lose this battle?
Nah, he'd win.
