Since it was such a nice day Yoko had decided to go out to the Bay for once. She usually didn't move far from her place of residence, but she also hadn't looked at the ocean in a long time. She even bought herself an ice cream cone on the way, sitting down by the quietest bench she could find to enjoy her snack and listen to the calm waves wash ashore. The sound of the sea, the wind and... Screaming?

She had closed her eyes for a moment, but opened them just in time to see monsters rising out of the deep and walking onto land. What the hell. The one day she decided to go out and everything goes to shit. Was there something going on today? A special event? A useless, dumb holiday?

No, this was all Hebiru's fault.

Looking at the nearest NPC that passed her Yoko raised her voice. ''Hey, you.'' Her tone was rash and demanding and her scowl didn't make her seem any less friendly. ''What's going on? Is this some kind of flash mob?'' She casually opened her umbrella just in time to shield herself from the tiny rain cloud that appeared over her head. ''Don't give me any of that I don't know shit, I'm having a bad day already I don't need useless answers.''

Just then a monster landed next to the both of them, a giant bat with the long neck and beak of a seagull. With little to no warning it squawked so loudly that Yoko's ice cream went flying out of her hand and she had to catch herself or risk losing her footing and flying away. ''Asshole.'' She muttered at the creature before looking back at the NPC stranger. ''Hey shithead, call the police already.''

Shit had gone to hell in a handbasket and it'd done so hella quick. One moment Tamaya was just sitting in the shade and strumming away at her guitar, the next her performance had been overshadowed by screaming. She'd leapt to action without thought or hesitation and found herself facing the most outrageous enemy. One so outlandish she couldn't have imagined it would give her any problem in a million years.

Fish fingers.

She wasn't gonna elaborate on what that foe had looked like, why she was out of breath nor the reason for the new bruises all over her. Tamaya had always thought it was silly that there were so many paintings of medieval knights fighting snails but after this skirmish she'd have much preferred to face one of those instead. But she digressed. The point was that shit was going down, quirk fuckery abounded and someone was gonna have to pay for it. Whatever megalomaniac would do something like this was bound to be basking in the fucked up fruits of their labors somewhere nearby, probably being really extra while preparing to ramble on about their master plan.

Something like walking through the fleeing masses, towards the scene instead of away from it, splitting the parting crowd as if it were the sea. Perhaps with an umbrella in hand to set them apart from the masses or with some fancy metaphoric aid right before they make their messed up demands, like a cloud to symbolize 'when it rains it pours' or something.

''Hey shithead, call the police already.''

"Oy, fuckface. Don't think y'll get away with this!" Tamaya spat as she went on the attack, transforming her arms to have the range she needed from where she stood on the short stretch of beach nearly half a dozen meters away. With a sideflip she added momentum to her downward strike, setting one limb on a collision course with Yoko's head and the other towards the monster beside her.

''What?'' She could feel her inner thug come out, but quickly backpedaled when the stranger went on the attack? What the fuck was happening today??? She swiftly, although not so elegantly managed to duck out of the way moments before her face would've been punched in by water arms. Wait, water arms? She had seen her fair share of weird quirks, but this was next level. To make matters worse she couldn't exactly keep the umbrella in place the entire time so she inevitably got soaked by the rain cloud over her head. ''What's your problem, never been called a shithead before?!'' She retorted, brushing her wet bangs out of her face. It was on now. She threw the first strike so Yoko had every right to wipe the floor with her.

Maybe...

Maybe this woman was behind it all?

Monsters coming out of the ocean, and a woman with water arms, like some kind of wizard or sorcerer in an RPG. It was all pretty convenient wasn't it? Whatever her minions couldn't mop up she could finish herself with her water quirk. Meanwhile, Yoko had failed to notice that the seagull bat had been hit, and was now staggering backwards from the blow. But then again why concern herself with the summoned minions when the summoner was right there? Maybe if she beat up Tamaya and stopped this whole mess it would make her day feel a little bit better again. ''I get it now! You're just asking for trouble!'' She put her umbrella down and transformed into her blue troll form, one which could easily be likened to one of the many deep sea mutations that had come out of the water. Picking up a loose piece of debris the size of her hand she chucked it at Tamaya. ''Eat shit, water arms!'' Then she sprinted at her, hoping she could close the gap and get close enough to beat the shit out of her.

What in the face of an angler fish was that? Tamaya's determination doubled. Her hunch had been right. She could go all out too, no amount of blows would make that mug look any uglier. Even shitty clouds like these had their silver lining, Tamaya supposed.

"Bring it, fishhead!"

Rocks fell but Tamaya wasn't everyone so she didn't die. Having skipped her lessons in the Prometheus school of running away from things Tamaya spun to the side to avoid the projectile, her arms lashing out along with her sideways turn giving the impression of a spinning top mixed with a wacky waving inflatable tube guy. Her first limb struck at the debris to ensure it was fully knocked off course in case her dodge wasn't enough and her second struck out towards Yoko once more as she came to a stop.

She didn't stay stationary, immediately beginning to step backwards to try and stay out of the muscular figure's reach. That it took her closer and closer to the ocean Tamaya was blissfully unaware of.

''Fishhead?!'' She growled, even more determined to beat the shit out of this rogue villain to make her day feel a little better. What didn't make her feel better was that she only barely managed to guard against water arms McGee in time, and even then it halted her advance and really, really hurt. ''Come fight me coward! Where are you going?!'' She was about to sprint after Tamaya when the monster behind her reared it's bat, seagull hybrid head. It squawked before lunging forward to try and bite her, but Yoko didn't waste any time punching the monster away, making it topple and fall over itself. ''Shut up!! This isn't about you!''

Although she normally had a great handle on her anger, she was really tempted to just let it go and go on a complete rampage. Anything to take down this water armed villain. ''You get back here you freak!'' She roared as she followed after Tamaya, taking wildly aggressive and uncoordinated swings at her, clearly wanting a punching bag to release all her anger on. The only problem was her punching bag was currently dodging way too quickly. The entire situation was only exacerbated when Yoko realized that since her arms were water, she was probably stepping backwards to try and get into the ocean and merge with it or something. The perfect getaway! Well, so long as Yoko let her get away of course.

''Let's see you dodge this, shithead!'' She picked a wooden bench up from the ground, completely disregarding public property, before throwing it straight at Tamaya's head trying to knock her out.
