Holy shit was she not touching this entire thing with a ten foot pole. A giant shadow monster trying to eat the dinosaur that tried to eat it moments before while a meteor -a fucking meteor- slams it down into the ground. She punched people. Sometimes wacked them with her water arms.
Yeah, Tamaya told herself with a nod, they had this in the bag. There was no need for her to join in again. That massive cloud of dust was hiding their victory and they'd all be fine.
Just, uh, just in case she stayed where she had a good view of the scene though. She wasn't exactly eager to leap back into the fray but she had no intention of leaving her temporary allies to die either. If they were in trouble she'd intervene. With her heart thumping loudly in her chest the dust cloud seemed to take ages to clear.
"Ah thank fuck."
It was worth the wait. Fenrir was down -and looking far less glamorous than imagined- while the two others seemed to be... well, alive. She wasn't interested in casting any judgement on account of the whole 'having been put through a wall' thing. Well, not on them at least. Hearing shouting coming from right below where she was standing Tamaya gripped the top of the hole so she could lean out and get a better look. Ah, that guy. Sounded like it was her turn to contribute again.
Kicking off her perch she let gravity do most of the work. A full set of armor weighed a ton and it'd taken her ages to get used to moving around while wearing it let alone having it fall down on her. Drillbert was in for a ride. "Needs more spice!" She shouted on the way down, not at all influenced by what the other people in the fight had said nuh uh. The sound of snapping bone resounded when she landed. It'd be fine though. She'd aimed for his right shoulder and the heart was on the left side of the body, right? Probably. She'd never paid attention during biology classes but she vaguely recalled Mai mentioning that she slept on her right side because if her quirk did stuff while she was asleep it helped even out blood flow and stopped her from waking up with muscle cramps from the cold. Blood was a liquid and those tended to flow down more easily than up after all.
"Ah'll take this one to the nearest police station!" Tamaya shouted at YaoYao and Julienne. "Y'all have the big one, right? Leaving it to you two!" With that she hefted Drillbert up and over her shoulder and walked off. With her armor on in full she'd be able to hide her identity from the coppers so long as she kept her mouth shut. She'd never had problems doing that.
TL;DR:
-Tamaya lands on Drillbert taking him out
-Tells YaoYao and Julienne she's taking him to the cops and leaves Fenrir to them.

Everything was looking up Tamaya. Then everything was looking down Tamaya. There were a few things in between, including a wall, but let's not worry about the details there.
"Your couch is shite."
The man she was speaking to was unsure how to respond, his wife and kids huddled behind him as they took shelter in a corner of their living room. For a moment Tamaya just laid there. The sort-of person-shaped hole in the wall gave them a pretty good view of the mess going on outside. All she needed now was some popcorn, a drink and several dozen miles in between her and the problem. Was that too much to ask for? Tamaya let out a loud groan. The kind that kept going, like an engine stuttering to life on a cold winter morning. Kami, half her body was gonna be covered in bruises tomorrow. Pushing herself upright with the speed and willpower of someone on three hours of sleep and six cups of coffee during crunch week several bits and pieces of wall fell off her to join the rest of the assortment on the couch. Which, in hindsight, was probably what had made the damned thing so uncomfortable.
With several mechanical clicks each part of her helmet slid down individually to settle on her gorget. "Takin' this, I need it more than you," Tamaya explained without any bias whatsoever while snagging a beer can out of their fridge. That was a giant shadow monster out there trying to bite the fucking dinosaur to death. She wasn't dealing with this sober. Slamming the whole can down in one go and flattening it against her armor Tamaya let out a pleased sigh while making her way back to the hole in the wall while her helmet slid back in place. "Y'all sit tight. This'll be over before you can say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious."
If anyone asked it absolutely hadn't taken her days of practice to consistently say that line without stumbing. Putting one hand on the brittle edge of the wall and a feet in the opening Tamaya observed the fight.
Now, what in the blazes was she supposed to do any of this?
TL;DR:
-Tamaya gets punted through a wall
-She has a pint but things don't blow over
-Waiting's not her strong point so she heads back to the hole in the wall -you probably haven't even heard of it- and tries to figure out how to contribute.

Rise up, stand tall! A proud smile settled on Tamaya's face at Kokoro's complement. "Yah, by now ah've beating Mai every time now durin' our weekly sparri- my dojo hunting where ah target her in particular." She was lying through her teeth of course. Tamaya was getting better and better but somehow Mai always stayed one step ahead of her. She swore the prissy cunt was mocking her, holding back and using just enough strength to beat her and rub it in. Tamaya had sworn to herself long ago that she'd get what was coming to her one day."Have none of you heard of a door?" Tamaya sighed in exasperation. The keys were right there. Still in their hands. Probably. She hadn't been keeping track. Oh well, no time to complain. The advantage of having stuck her water arms through the bars was that she could just shimmy sideways and have the bars phase through until she was fully free and could leap into the fray.
Which, coincidentally, was exactly what she did. With a laugh that was more of a cackle she charged through the opening that Jingjing has made. Using one watery appendage to keep his gun down and the swooshing other around in the direction of anyone trying to help him Tamaya rushed at him like a bull in a china shop and oh boy did he look he was made of ceramic. Her forehead met his nose with a resounding crack causing the man to let out a pained sound that was a mix between a hiss and a groan while letting go of his gun. Tamaya promptly flung it towards a corner and slammed her fists together to manifest her armor. With a cocky smile she sent out a final challenge before her helmet came up to cover her face.
"All right, let's get this party started!"

Rise up, stand tall! Tamaya never turned down a party, especially one with free drinks. Wearing her best samurai costume, one in the likeliness of a stylized version of Oda Nobunaga, the man that followed no rules and did his own thing no matter what people thought, Tamaya was busy downing a bottle of expensive liquor when she felt more than heard a large group approaching. Hearing that they were waylaid by a new arrival she used the opportunity to empty the last bit of the bottle in her hands before they could reach her and potentially stop her freeloading. That was until she heard the last parts Hymn said. Looking him up and down she almost let out a sigh. Another guy that was hot until the exact moment he opened his mouth. All downhill from there, a scene she'd seen dozens of times before. What a shame. "Wow dude, at least buy them drinks first, geez." All the drinks here being free put a minor hitch in her advice but Tamaya had never been one to be bothered by the details. Turning around fully she saw the people he'd been talking to and even recognized some of them. "Sparky, Buzz, good to see y'all." Facing the rest with a confident smile she straightened her back, squared her shoulders and pointed at thumb at her chest."The Dragon of the East, The Crimson Knight of Destiny, The Soul of Edogawa. Rejoice! You're in the presence of the Hydra!" Turning her nose up with a smug smile her index finger extended and her arm came forward to aim fingerguns at the crowd. "Pleasure to meet you all. Dun' know your names but if you make it in this bizz I'll try to remember them, no worries." Her words had the kind of confidence behind them that could only come from believing oneself invincible due to never having really landed on your face yet. "Party's aight so far but it could use some better music. Do any of you know who to talk to about that?" May you never fall!

The method may have been wrong but Julienne reached the right answer anyway. Suck it, middle school math teacher Horikomiya, your teaching sucked, was wrong back then still is now. "Fall before the Dragon of the East!" Tamaya shouted at the top of her lungs when Julienne let go, her fists slamming together to manifest her armor before they crossed in front of her to shield her head from the impact.
And what an impact it was.
With a slam so grand it put tennis tournaments to shame Tamaya crashed into his back, striking so hard that the impact nearly made her bite her tongue. Wrapping her hands around two of the spikes on his back and trying to plant her feet on top of a lower row of them Tamaya did her best to hang on while maximizing damage. The elegance of martial arts was for posers like Mai, Tamaya fought dirty. Knees, elbows, headbutts and more landed whenever she had an opportunity, joined in by punches and kicks whenever Fenrir's movements dislodged one of her limbs but not the other three.
This wasn't her first rodeo and with some luck, it wouldn't be her last.
TL;DR: Tamaya hits his back and tries to out-crocodile him by hanging on and taking her pound of flesh.May you never fall!

"Preach," Tamaya snorted when Kokoro and Jinjing both gave the same reason. She was very familiar with the concept of being broke. Wasn't even her own fault. Everything she wanted was just that expensive and really, could you even play guitar without that fancy new strap that just came out? Tamaya didn't think so either.
"Hmm, think this is a set-up after all? Might still be part be of the keyfabe. Ah've seen weirder."
Done weirder too. Some of the 'animal masks' she'd worn during her bouts had smelled far too much like rotten meat for her liking. She didn't know what taxidermist got those ready but she sure had found the one thing she preferred fake over genuine. To think that day would ever come but well, here they were.
"Wow, wow now. Ain't none of us dyin' here today," Tamaya said while raising her hands in front of her. That was grim as hell. "Worst come ta worst I bust us out of 'ere. Easy." She had plenty of ways to get rid of the handcuffs. Hells. Given that it was something she was wearing her rings might even be able to switch it out for her armor along with the rest of her outfit.
"I dun' think they do, nah. I should be able to, uh, do the swishy-swooshy thing," Tamaya replied with a chuckle. "Well then, let's go renegotiate, ey?"
Transforming her arms she immediately sent them through the bars, one aiming to wrap around the gun and contest its aim while the other pulled the keyring free and dragged it back into the cell. Tossing the keys over to Kokoro and Jingjing she put her second arm to work too, slamming it into the gunwielder's face to turn the tides in her favor. Delaying was nice and all that but she'd much rather down him without having to rely on her friends. There were plenty of baddies to go around after all.

"You're the one that's getting in my way you outdated fossil!" That was a statement that if anyone asked, Tamaya definitely did not regret within seconds of saying it. "Hurgh!" The breath was driven out of her lungs when Fenrir's charge made contact. Her armor groaned under the strain of resisting his assault and her jaw clenched to the point her teeth audibly ground together as Tamaya did her best to stop the same from happening with Fenrir. Well, with the small addition that she'd be ground between those teeth. If it hadn't been for the armor plates locking together to take part of the force her arms would have likely turned into liquid without Tamaya even having to activate her quirk. Right now though. Right now adrenaline was coursing through her veins and causing the corners of her lip to curl up in ecstatic glee.The knight against the dragon. A tale as old as time. The fierce struggle became that much fiercer when Tamaya's feet left the ground. Muttered curses resounded from beneath her helmet as she was swung around and her grip began to slip, a problem only made worse when he threw her right up into the air. The retort of 'biting off more than you can chew' died in her throat when she realized the situation she was in. Slamming her fists back together Tamaya got rid of her armor to reduce her weight, hopefully slowing her fall enough that she could use her quirk to swing off a light pole or something and dissipate enough of the momentum to not go splat."Hurgh!" For a second time the breath was driven from her lungs by someone slamming into her. Only this time it wasn't an enemy. Now, having more allies added a lot of options for strategies, plans and tactics but Tamaya had always been a straightforward person. Her plan for winning battles was simple. Hit it 'till it drops. She saw no reason to change that now. Turning to Julienne she framed her request clearly, a finger pointed at Fenrir's back giving the only additional information that was needed to make sense of the two words she uttered:  TL;DR: Tamaya gets thrown into the air, caught by Julienne and requests to be thrown back into the fray.May you never fall!

Tamaya let out a long yawn as she leaned up against the side of the cage. She was no stranger to matches having all kinds of different 'set-ups' to add excitement for the crowd but by now she was just getting bored.
"Oy, what's the hold up?" She angrily complained while stretching her arms above her head, the handcuffs jingling as she did. In between her quirk and the two rings still on her fingers she had absolutely no fear of this being a ruse nor would she be afraid even if she realized. The biggest danger Tamaya was facing right now was death by boredom. Looking over her competitors just to pass the time Tamaya blinked when she spotted a familiar face and heard a familiar voice.
"Yo, didn't expect to see either of you 'round these parts. What brings y'all here?"

Rock and roll was about the spirit of freedom, liberation from the constraints of authority and carving your own path through the world. The Ragnarockers were a group that Tamaya respected so to see one of their own target the innocent like this pissed her off like you had no idea. With Drillbert's earlier threat Tamaya had already been prepped and ready to go.
"Oy, hold this!" She shouted while tossing her guitar case at someone in the crowd and getting to work. When the giant shadow palms from another combatant -one Tamaya surmised was a potential ally- arrived she did her best to stay on her feet and when they started scooping she saw her chance, rushing over one finger after the next until she was up and over.
In mid-air she slammed her fists together, a flash of light materializing her armor around her before she landed with a loud crash.
"Right here, big guy!"
Up close he looked even larger. Tamaya grinned widely behind her helmet. A foe like this always got her blood pumping. She didn't know why Fenrir decided to abandon his morals but she was sure that they could figure that out after a few good knocks to the head to sort him out. Bracing for his charge she prepared to stop him or at the very least slow him enough that the innocent could get out of the way. She had full faith that her armor wouldn't be pierced by the fangs on his jaw but the full strength of his bite she was far less confident about. Just in case she positioned one arm higher than the other, ready to place one hand on the top part of his jaw and the other on the bottom in case he decided to bite down. With some luck she'd at least be able to get thrown backwards instead of into the grinder if her capabilities proved lacking.
TL;DR: Tamaya throws her guitar case to someone in the crowd, leaps over the hand and braces to catch Fenrir's charge.May you never fall!

"Yah, I figured." Giving Yoko a wink she followed it up with finger guns. "Eyup, that's me. Long time no see, hopefully less watery this time." Snorting at her own joke she turned to Michael as he approached. "I could go for a smoothie. If it's a bother to prepare a table I dun' mind sitting with the redhead, I make friends easy. Oh, her I mean, not you. No offense. I'm cool with you joining too but y'r workin' and all that." She continued while waving her hand back and forth. Sure, the person in question seemed to be glaring at her but she'd made friends out of worse first meetings. Why, Yoko had punched her in the face and almost caused her to drown and by now they were practically peas in a pod. Probably. Hmm, was it just her or were all three of them looking at her funny? Was she being an ass?
No, it was the students that were wrong.
"Huh, looks like ya do fit right in," Tamaya added with a crooked grin at Yoko. She was showing just the kind of willingness to do whatever the hell was expected of her that Tamaya despised and the dedication to follow through with the art she'd taken up that she could vibe with. "Ah, but where are mah manners?" Tamaya shrugged before giving Michael a shallow nod. "Name's Tamaya. Sup?"

A mix of boredom, curiosity and the eternal search for inspiration had led Tamaya to the Sports Festival. She wouldn't want to be caught dead going to UAU herself but what she was quite interested in seeing was what kind of people Mai thought could make a difference. She snorted at the thought. She doubted she'd see more than puppies today. Little lapdogs in training, ready to follow the whims of the law no matter which posh prick had decided to put pen to paper. Tamaya almost laughed when she spotted the maid advertising for their little pretend cafe. Even when relaxing they were getting ready to serve at the whims of whoever held the reigns. Didn't that suit them just fine?
"Yo, any spots free?" Tamaya loudly asked while walking inside, her guitar case lazily slung over her shoulder. "Huh, that you Trollface?" She added with a raised brow when she spotted Yoko. "The hell are you doin' in UAU?" The vigilante continued asking with skepticism and disappointment that could easily be mistaken for derision. Their previous encounter had left them with the impression that Yoko wasn't the type to just go along with what people said. She wondered if there was a story there. Well, who knew if she'd get the chance to ask. There was more than one table and Tamaya had never been picky about where she went. Life went much smoother when you let the wind at your back guide you to your next inspiration. Looking around she wasn't exactly impressed at the people present but she certainly was at the variety. UAU truly did attract all kinds of interesting quirks.
