1IN YOUR EYES
Boy was Wendy lost.
She towered over the other students around her who, unbeknownst to her, were staring as she passed. She didn't really have the spare brain power to notice as she was desperately focused on the map that she was given when she was dropped off for her first day. Thankfully, the nice government people had already moved her stuff into a dorm. Now she just needed to figure out where this 'admin building' was so she could get her official I.D. Most would be excited or nervous to a degree, but Wendy didn't really know what to think, and to any onlooker, it was clear that she...wasn't.
She would stop as she faced a large wall, slowly looking down at the map and then back up, doing this about five more times before speaking aloud to no one in particular. "This doesn't look right..." Her voice would trail off as she rubbed her temple, trying to understand why the map would lead her to a place with no door. (OOC Note: She's standing on the opposite side of the correct building she doesn't understand) "Maybe its a secret door...?" she would put the map in her pocket and give a few knocks on the wall "Excuse me, I'm here to pick up my I.D Card." Then she gasped as a realization hit her: how could she be so foolish!
She didn't even know what I.D. meant. Of course, they weren't going to answer to such nonsense! She'd hit the button on her phone that she used a lot when she didn't know the answer "What does I.D. mean?"

''It's frustrating.'' She was walking with Michael and venting to him as she smoked a cigarette. Training had been taking a toll on her, especially the supermove class she had attended. ''She tells us 'master your supermove to perfection', or whatever, and then like, every time I try to train, every time I use the move more than once I start feeling really sick for the rest of the day.'' She grumbled, taking a drag of her cigarette, before exhaling. ''It's bullshit. If someone told you to master spinning around in a circle, but it always made you really nauseous, don't you think that would be an impossible task? Are just supposed to not get sick anymore past a certain point?'' She stopped and looked at Wendy. She couldn't place it, but something felt off about her. Maybe it was how she was inspecting the back of the administration building, or the fact that she was 6'9 and had pink hair, making her stand out like a sore thumb. ''Michael...'' She pointed at Wendy. ''Do you know her?''She took a step forward, but hesitated. She wanted to help, wanted to follow Michael's example, but she wasn't sure if she could do it. Getting a premonition that it was going to rain, she opened her armored umbrella and shielded herself from the rain cloud over her head. ''Should we help?'' She couldn't help but sound unsure, the cloud responding to her emotional state and unease at approaching a new person. ''Hey... You there.'' She spoke up, trying to get Wendy's attention. ''I.D. means identification, right?'' She looked up at Michael and gave his leg a gentle nudge with her elbow, hoping that he would take control of the conversation. SamaritanWendy

Michael Faraday
New Experiences, New Girl
Michael walked along side his friend, commiserating in her dismay over mastering supermoves. Michael sympathized with Yoko, knowing how physically and emotionally exhausting her quirk was. He hid the fact that he had been working on his own supermove in secret. And her analogy of spinning around in a circle without getting nauseous was an astute observation. Michael wasn't really keeping the development of his supermove from Yoko because she was struggling with hers, it was mainly because he assumed that Yoko would angrily disapprove of his technique. The excessive amount of strain on his body while doing was subjecting his body to extreme pressures and rapid changing air flow. If he wasn't precise, he could very well pop a limb. So he felt it was probably best NOT to tell Yoko until he had better control.
"Well... yeah actually. Astronauts and pilots subject themselves to G-Forces to condition their bodies and strengthen their endurance and mental faculties. I doubt we're ever suppose to get completely adapted to the extreme conditions needed, but that's why our supermoves are meant to be a last resort epitome of our power." Michael tried to comfort Yoko. "It should get easier, but we have to train ourselves every day. That's the hard part."
Michael saw his friend stop walking and noticed a thumping sound. Michael turned toward the sound that Yoko was looking at and saw a quite tall pink-haired girl knocking on the back wall of the administration building. "I don't think I've ever seen her before." When Wendy began trying to call to the wall as if someone was suppose to let her in, Michael knew she needed some help. He was thrilled Yoko seemed to already be taking that initiative to help someone, even though it was such a trivial manner.
"She seems confused, we should at least make sure she's okay!" Michael agreed with Yoko, taking her hand and rushing over towards Wendy enthusiastically. As they got closer, Wendy asked about what an I.D. was and Yoko nervously tried to speak up. "Well technically it means identification document, but that's just splitting hairs. Hi! I'm Michael and this is Yoko. You seem like you're new here. We can help you find where you need to go if you like." Michael said warmly. He extended a hand out to her for a handshake, leaving it in the air for her to decide if she was open to the physical touch. "Nice to meet you!"
Notes & Tags:Yanai Yoko , Wendy , TLDR: Michael has been working on his supermove in secret so not to worry Yoko. Michael and Yoko go over to greet Wendy and help her out.

1IN YOUR EYES
Wendy nearly jumped as she heard voices. "I...I can't see you..." she would lean her ear against the wall, trying to understand what was going on until her attention was drawn elsewhere. Oh, people! She would bend down slightly to be at eye level with Yoko. "It does? Oh that's why this door wont open I must need my identification." She'd shift back towards the wall. "Hi, I'm W.3.N...Wendy!" Still nothing, darn.
Oh, another voice! She'd turn back to Yoko, thinking for a moment that she was good at voices as that sounded nothing like her, only to be greeted by a balloon arm. She'd rise back to her full height and stare blankly, unable to comprehend what was going on. The voice addressing her certainly came from the mouth of this balloon. As time went on and she stared validly, the silence continued as the rusty gears in Wendy's head began to turn, and after probably about 30 seconds, it hit her, "Oh! This must be your quirk!" She would point at Yoko, "...Or your quirk?" Maybe he was like an imaginary friend or something. "Sorry, I'm being rude. I'm Wendy, and this is my first day. I'm supposed to pick up my I.D., but this place looks closed...what do I do..." She would pace back and forth, worried about the implication of missing her first day and what that would mean for her moms. They were depending on her, after all, and she couldn't let them down!

''I can get behind that, but when your supermove doesn't even land most of the time?'' Her cigarette was burning out fast so she put it out and put it in a portable ashtray she always carried with her. She may be a delinquent, but she wasn't about to litter because of her own smoking habits. ''I probably picked the wrong move to train, maybe I should just start from scratch.'' She stashed the ashtray away again. ''Training every day sucks. I barely have any time for hobbies, or sleeping.''''Right? You'd remember if you had seen her. I mean... She doesn't exactly blend in.'' She didn't mean it as an insult, but it was plain as day that Wendy being both tall and colorful was quite the character. She let Michael lead her closer to the strange student, raising her hand in a casual wave and letting out a quick, ''yo.'' When Michael introduced her. Once Wendy turned around and bend down to be at eye level with her, she took a small step backwards. ''You're tall.'' She said simply. She hadn't expected to come across a student taller than Michael, and not this much taller. Was it quirk related? Wait, did she just introduce herself to the wall? ''..Wendy.'' She let her name linger in the air for a moment. ''That's not a door, you're talking to a wall.'' The amount of time Wendy stared at Michael was starting to make her uncomfortable, what was this pink giant thinking? Was she thinking up insults to hurl at Michael? She better not be or Yoko would be more than ready to throwdown here and now, to hell with the teachers and getting reprimanded. Fortunately it seemed that her pessimism had gotten ahead of her and Wendy was just confused. ''Not mine, this is.'' She pointed up at the cloud over her head. ''Michael is his own person, and he's more than just a quirk.'' She said firmly. ''Closed?'' She took her phone out of her pocket to check the time. Yup, sure enough... ''It's still open for a few more hours. Have you actually tried the front door?'' She looked up at Michael, shifting her eyes to signal that they should take Wendy around to the front. ''You said this is your first day? Where did you come from? How could you not have seen the front of the building?''Wendy, Samaritan

Michael Faraday
Brain Dablage or Cultural Misunderstanding?
Michael chuckled warmly from Wendy's confusion of what exactly he was. It was like the reaction he would occasionally get from children around Tokyo that called him 'Balloon Head'. Yoko's response to it was even more humorous and cute; Michael would have smiled over to her if he could as she pointed out her cloud. "And yes, this is part of my quirk. I'm essentially a balloon man." Michael added, simplifying it so it hopefully would be less confusing. But come to think of it, Wendy had said something particularly bizarre. Not knowing if someone was just a quirk construct of someone else was something that many people could plausibly have happen to, but to try entering a wall...
Michael was worried that maybe she was concussed or possibly inebriated... but it didn't seem like that was the case. Maybe she was from another city or country where they had different architecture... or was told by someone that there would be a hidden door...? Whatever the reason, it didn't really matter. She was in need of help, and Yoko and him were there to do just that.
"Follow us, we can show you the entrance." Michael said as hospitably as possible to avoid embarrassing her if it was an honest mistake or cultural misunderstanding.
Notes & Tags:Yanai Yoko , Wendy , TLDR: Michael offered Yoko and him to escort Wendy to the entrance, concerned about her confusion but giving the benefit of doubt.

1IN YOUR EYES
"I am...?" Wendy had never considered that she was just abnormally tall. "I just thought that everyone else was really short." Now that someone told her otherwise, it made sense why she hadn't run into anyone even close to her height. Even Michael, who towered over Yoko, was still a decent amount smaller than her. The little girl was a genius, and Wendy couldn't hide her amazement even if she wanted to. With her eyes nearly sparkling in admiration, she turned back to the "door" and touched it again. "Huh." She would knock again and then push just to make sure it was definitely a wall.
She would take off her backpack and sit down against the side of the building, placing her hands in her lap and waiting patiently. She had resolved to stay until she got a call from the office to direct her to where she needed to go. She was used to taking orders and didn't know what to do on her own.
"OH sorry I didn't know." Curiosity got the best of her, and she would reach up from her spot and poke the cloud that responded by drenching her arm. "Oh, so you're a balloon, and you make clouds. I didn't know people could do that. Those are really unusual" In a shocking display of ignorance she would grip her arm that was soaked from the rain and would wring it out like a sponge, shaking it a few times until it rebounded back to its normal shape. Yoko's question confused her enough that she titled her head slightly "A tank? Then over there." she'd point behind the two of them. Her eyes would widen when prompted to follow; what nice people! "Oh, okay! Thank you" She would give a bow just like her moms always said she should when someone helps you out. "I thought this was the front; that's where the map took me." She would pull the map back out of her pocket and bend down to show Yoko first and then Michael.

She was about to give Wendy a whole lecture on how not to speak so rudely to Michael, but then when he chuckled it seemed like he didn't mind it. She didn't get how he could do it, how he could just laugh it off when someone was rude to him. Instead she simply nodded in affirmation when Michael said he was a balloon man, that was probably about as simple as he could make it. ''I suppose to you everyone else does look small.'' Everything about Wendy's behavior was so odd. From the way she double checked if it was actually a wall, to the way she resigned herself to just sitting down and waiting for something to happen. She wasn't the most superstitious type... But could it be that Wendy was actually an alien in disguise or something? She was entirely too suspicious, even for hero student types. Khepri would probably get a kick out of meeting her. ''Well, not clouds exactly. The cloud is mine, but that's just a small part of my quirk.'' She paused, how could she explain it like Michael had? In simple terms, without rambling on and on about the smaller details. ''Think of it like this, I can turn into a blue water monster.'' She shrugged, a bit unsure of her simplified description, glancing up at Michael for reassurance. When Wendy wrung her own arm to get the water out of it Yoko's eyes damn near popped out of her head. ''A tank?'' Of all the things, that was not what she had expected to hear. She even turned around to look where Wendy was pointing. The alien theory was growing stronger with every passing second. ''Is that an actual map? Did you print this out?'' She couldn't believe someone would go through all that effort when it was so easy to pull a map up on a phone, especially when connections out here in Tokyo were so fast. ''You're a first year student like us, right? Maybe we're going to be classmates.'' She closed her umbrella when the rain stopped, a miniature rainbow forming over her head as the cloud faded away. She wanted to ask about Wendy's quirk, but she also didn't want to be bombard her with questions. Maybe it was some kind of towel power? Like she could wring the water out of her body whenever she got drenched. Wendy, Samaritan

Michael Faraday
New in Town?
A Tank?! What did that mean? There was clearly something strange about this girl... but despite his confusion and curiosity, Michael couldn't just leave someone in need of help. His altruism far outweighed any concerns of who Wendy was or the possible dangers that might come from someone behaving strangely on campus. Also, aside from being in need of help, Wendy seemed like a nice person, even if she wasn't all there.
"Printed directions can be a little confusing since they don't give you context that you can have clarified immediately." Michael chuckled trying to give Wendy the benefit of the doubt. When Yoko asked if she was a first year, Michael continued after her excitedly. "We'd be happy to help you get adjusted. Sometimes the classes can be a little rough to start with, so its always good to have friends."
Michael beamed brightly. "Yoko has been helping me a lot since we became friends. She can seem a little abrasive, but she's helped me stand up for myself and be more assertive... when its okay to." Michael said reeling back a little worried he was coming on to strong. He didn't want to seem cocky or arrogant about it, even though he was proud of everything he'd learned from Yoko.
"Are you new to Tokyo? I know how scary it can be sometimes starting somewhere new, so just ask us if you need any help figuring the campus out and maybe we can show you some of our favorite spots around town. I know this great little ramen shop! The noodles are so good, it's to die for!" Michael kept the energy friendly as they walked Wendy to the front of the building, hoping their questions might help figure out an explanation for Wendy's... (for lack of a better word:) quirkiness.
When they arrived at the front of the building, Michael opened the door to allow Wendy and maybe Yoko in should they feel like she might need further assistance once inside.

1IN YOUR EYES
She would tilt her head in further confusion as Yoko explained her quirk. What was a blue water monster? How do you own a cloud? So many questions and not enough answers. The gears turning in her brain were certainly working overtime. Luckily, she didn’t have to dwell on it long as Yoko followed up with a question she could wrap her head around. “Yeah, it's a map. I didn’t print it out; I don’t know how to use a printer. It was given to me to help get around campus.” Wendy was notoriously bad with technology. She was given a map so she wouldn’t get lost, which clearly they overestimated her ability to figure out stuff independently.
She would nod in agreement at Michael’s comment on printed directions. Clearly, these didn’t work too well; otherwise, she wouldn’t have ended up in the back of the building. “Oh T-Thank you!” She would bend down as they got closer to the building as to not hit her head on the doorway. “I’ve never had friends before…what do friends do?” She would hold open the door for the others to enter, and once they did, she would let the door close behind them. “Abrasive? Yoko has been super nice. Both of you have, actually. I was a bit nervous coming here but-” A lightbulb went off and she would give a bow which she was told was customary in Japan. “Thank you for help!”
She would tap her chin for a moment thinking the best way to answer Michael. She was new to Tokyo but she also wasn’t? Ultimately she decided it was best to answer with what she knew was true “I’ve never had ramen before…” She would greet the lady at the front desk with the information she was told to bring, pulling a folder from her backpack and handing it to her. Now, she just needed her I.D. and her class schedule, and then she would be on her way.

''Yup. Especially the written homework, it's the worst.'' She was itching to pull out a cigarette, but didn't want to smoke when she was walking so close to the others, so she refrained. Besides, they were pretty much accompanying this girl into the administration building weren't they? When Michael complimented her she couldn't help but blush a bit. ''I was not... It's whatever.'' She grumbled. When Michael asked Wendy if she was new to Tokyo, it all suddenly clicked to her. Wendy was a pretty popular name overseas, so surely the reason this tall girl was so odd was because she was raised in a different country? ''Don't worry, no one knows how to use printers. Right, Michael?'' She looked up at him for confirmation. Printers were evil, and Yoko wasn't entirely convinced they didn't possess quirks solely to troll whoever was trying to use it. When Wendy had to bend down not to hit her head, she couldn't help but wonder what that might be like, watching with silent curiosity. ''Oi. I'm not nice.'' She protested, but she didn't press the issue as the longer Wendy talked, the more bad she felt for her. She had never had friends before? Never even tasted ramen? And here she thought she had a hard childhood. ''Friends? We hang out and stuff. We got each other's back. A friend is someone you can rely on.'' She thought about it for a moment, before continuing. ''And if someone tries to make fun of you, tell me and I'll beat them up. That means we're friends now.'' She raised her hand in a casual wave at Michael, as if to silently convey her gratitude for him holding the door. ''Never had ramen? Michael, are you thinking what I'm thinking?'' She could barely look over the desk. A short girl among giants. Training had been particularly brutal lately, so she wouldn't say no to a serving of ramen right about now or in an hour's time. Trying a Trio
Michael chuckled along with Yoko's statement about printers. "Most stuff now a days are digital anyways." He agreed with a lack of understanding for printers. Michael then laughed along in silent agreement with Wendy's appraisal of Yoko. He was glad that both Yoko and him were making Wendy feel welcome. This was apparently all so new to her. She had never even had friends or ramen before.
Taking Yoko's cue Michael said, "When we're all done here, let's go grab a few bowls. My treat! That way we can show you a little around town and continue to get to know each other."
Michael was thrilled that they all seemed to be getting along so well. Wendy was so nice and Yoko was clearly warming up to her quickly. It would seem that their duo might finally expand into a trio. The idea that Wendy would also be attending school with them was even more exciting. With Wendy's apparent personality, she would make for a great partner in heroing as well. The idea of how much the three of them would be able to help and comfort people brought a big smile to his face... or would if it wasn't just a balloon.
Michael knew better than to lift Yoko up without her request. Even if she would be able to see over the desk easier, he didn't want her to think that he was patronizing her by lifting her up into view. So Michael just hit the bell on the desk to signal to whomever was here that they were in need of assistance. "Hello? We have a new student that needs her ID and class schedule." Michael called towards the back in a bright and friendly tone.

Wendy felt a bit overwhelmed but in a good way. She hadn't expected to run into other students so willing to help her this much when they didn't even know her. Not surprised but ultimately very happy that her moms were right about her going to UAU. She would make them proud.
All of this caused her to space out, and thankfully, Michael was there to pick up the slack, bringing her out of her stupor to pick up all of the stuff she would need to start her life as a student. As they moved away from the desk, she would absentmindedly and quietly repeat part of what Yoko had said: "Someone you can rely on..." Then it clicked! She had been nothing but relying on them, and from what her moms told her, that was rude. "Okay, uhm. If we're friends and friends are someone you can rely on, then I should pay." She'd pull out her wallet stuffed with yen, the benefit of having a government stipend and subsidized life.
She would hold open the door and let the two out before following them "...What is ramen?" She got so caught up in their chat that she realized she had agreed to all of this without knowing what ramen even was.

She nodded her head when Michael said the part she was setting him up for. ''We know the best spots in town, and the best ramen flavors.'' This was all working out perfectly for her, since she could go for a big bowl of ramen right about now. Maybe bumping into Wendy here was a blessing in disguise. While she couldn't look over the counter, and she didn't really care to, instead she turned and stared at a water cooler for a bit while she thought about what it would be like to take Michael and Wendy out for drunk karaoke. She found that getting drunk exposed a lot of hidden sides about people, and both Michael and Wendy would be hilarious drunk. Oh, it was time to leave. ''What do you mean you should pay? Michael already said it's his treat so we'll split the bill since you're new.'' She silently thanked Wendy for holding the door open by raising her hand into a quick casual wave. ''We'll just say you can pay next time.'' She casually opened her umbrella once she got outside to shield herself from the dark rain cloud returning over her head. She looked back at Michael again when Wendy asked what ramen was, as if she was the most sus student on campus. ''Have you ever seen anime? You know the hot soup with the noodles, vegetables and meat? Like that.'' As they began walking Yoko would offer to lead the pack out of campus. ''I know a shortcut.'' From all the snack and cigarette runs she went on she had become quite familiar with the ins and outs of the area. As they walked the cloud over Yoko's head disappeared again. After walking for a bit they arrived at a quaint little ramen place in the quieter part of Tokyo. Taking their seats Yoko already knew her order. ''I'll take a glass of water and a bowl with extra meat.'' She looked over at the others. ''You two? I'll place the order so just tell me what you want.''Wendy, Samaritan

Runnin' Ramen
As they were leaving with Wendy's supplies and information, she offered to buy the ramen... well more she seemed to correlate relying on others as in a financial way. While Michael was glad to see she clearly had enough money to help her be able to get by easily enough, he was concerned that she could easily be taken advantage of. Especially with how unaware she seemed with the way things were. It was good that Yoko and him found her.
Yoko was already stating that Michael agreed to treat her to ramen. She was always so strong willed when it came to others, Michael knew that with her as a friend, no one would be able to take advantage of Wendy. "Yeah you can get it next time." Michael agreed happily.
Michael kept towards the back of the group, keeping close but making sure they didn't lose Wendy anywhere along the way as Yoko led the trio for the ramen shop. Yoko's cloud had entirely phased away as they arrived at the quiet shop. It was a bit of a hole in the wall sort of location, but that just meant that not many people came here and the ramen was insanely good. "Plain cheesy ramen for me and a Dr-Root-Dew-Up with no ice please."
Michael wasn't sure if Wendy would know what to order if she didn't even know what ramen was. So he quietly suggested to her, "If you have an particular meat you like, like beef, chicken or pork, I'd go with a regular one of those. Otherwise they do have a really good vegetable ramen. Just don't ask for any of the hot or spicy bowls if you don't handle spicy stuff all that well. And they have most standard soft drinks, but if you want anything stronger than water or soda you'll need to show them you're over 20."
