A young man with snowy white hair slipped through the small clusters of people still milling about on the street outside some of the more popular merchandise stores. The sun was hanging low over the buildings of Akihabara, casting long shadows that reached like clawed hands across the pavement. The man regarded them with a smile as he passed, imagining them reaching up to grasp at his ankles like souls of the damned. Wouldn't that be a fun afterlife?
Church flicked his crimson gaze from one face to another as he continued down the main street. Few noticed him as he passed, and those that did were often of the female variety, giggling like little birds in small groups as he skipped by. He had decided on simple street attire today, leaving his villain outfit at home. A baggy grey hoodie hung loosely on his frame, obscuring his hands and leaving most of his left shoulder and collarbone bare. Dark red leggings peeked out from under the hoodie that drooped to his thighs, ripped at the knees but otherwise rather new-looking. Despite the lazy ensemble, he was quite popular with women, but usually in the 'pretty' or 'cute' kind of way that led too often to them trying to dress him in outfits.
He steered over to a small bench and leaned against the side to look back down the street. Lights were beginning to buzz in the air, flickering on around the stores as the light began to fade. His eyes traveled over the humming signs as he contemplated things he might do to ease his boredom. Church plopped onto the bench and sat cross-legged as he watched people pass, waiting for something to spark his interest. In his left hand he idly twirled an action figure of a local Hero, something he had picked up at one of the stores along the way. He was new to the city and knew little of it's Heroes, but a title like 'The Divorce Hero: Penny' was humorous enough to catch his eye. He doubted he would hold onto it long, but for now, trying to balance it on the tip of his finger was enough to amuse him while he waited for something more interesting to catch his eye.

Rui was skipping around the streets of Akihabara without a care in the world. Despite being a notorious villain, she didn't really care about how she came across, or how the world around her perceived her. While she was infamous, however, she was also small and easy to miss in big crowds, so it wasn't like heroes were being called on her left and right or anything. Although she might have preferred if they did. Today was one of those horribly boring days, and she was still bitter about getting zapped by that vigilante Raiden a few days ago. Spotting a handsome young guy on a nearby bench she grinned. Maybe today could get interesting after all. ''Hi bestie!!'' She called out smiling and waving like they had known each other for years. ''What are you doing? Are you soaking up sun? You would get more sun if you went to the beach.'' She was all smiles and energy, and tempted to sit next to him if she hadn't gotten a better idea. ''Hey, have you ever tried taking a life before?'' She grinned mischievously, taking out the gun she had been carrying on her person. ''Do you want to know what it's like? To kill a person?'' She tried to put the gun in his hands and point it at her forehead. ''Just pull the trigger bestie, I promise it'll be a good time.'' She giggled, goading him to shoot her. ''Don't worry, no one will miss little old me, unless you've grown attached to me already? ~''Church Blackburn

Church's attention was pulled away from the action figure as a sudden voice broke the relative silence, and as he glanced up he was surprised by the sight of the woman that was rapidly approaching him. She reminded him of artwork he had seen once of an Oni, except maybe prettier, and fun-sized. His gaze flicked up her long horns and he wondered if maybe the western little devil might be more accurate. "Perhaps, but alas I cannot swim." He chimed back, meeting her smiles and energy with his own, and casually glancing to see if she had a little forked tail.
However, he was quickly distracted as he felt the cold touch of a gun in his hand. Almost at once his eyes seemed to take on an excited look, and hardly a moment after the words left her lips, his finger squeezed tight on the trigger and he fired. The way he saw it, she either had a quirk that made the shot non-lethal, or she had a death wish... in which case it was a fabulous offer. He had killed before of course, but never point-blank with a gun like this. Still, a part of him did hope she wasn't that easy to kill. With a first impression like this, he found her rather amusing and it would simply be a shame for it to end now.

''You can't?'' She pouted. ''Me neither, I think.'' When was the last time she had been out swimming? She couldn't recall, but it didn't matter either because as she placed the gun in his hands and put the barrel up to her forehead, this total stranger didn't even hesitate for a second with pulling the trigger, the gun letting out a loud bang as the bullet pierced her head and sent her falling onto her back. Her body limp, unmoving and lifeless. Interestingly, despite the fact that she had a hole in her forehead, no blood was rushing out. What's more, is moments after she had been shot, the bullet hole in her body seemed to close up by itself, regenerating any and all damage she took and bringing her back to consciousness. ''Woah!'' She sat up suddenly, feeling at her forehead where she had been shot before grinning up at Church. ''I like you!'' She exclaimed while pointing a finger at him. ''Tell me bestie, how was it? What did you feel, what did you think?'' She would try reaching for his hands to hold them as her eyes went wide with excitement and curiosity. ''Do you want to shoot me again? Or maybe we could go cause a little chaos somewhere else? ~'' It was bold of her, but she was wondering just how far she could goad this stranger into doing increasingly violent acts. She was always out to make more besties after all. Church Blackburn

As the sound of the gunshot rang through the air, Church leaned forward on the bench and peered down at the body sprawled on the pavement. He was aware of people running like spooked cattle around them, but it mattered little to him besides the intrusive thought to see how accurate his shot was when not point-blank. However, before he had the chance to act on the thought, movement drew his gaze back to the little fun-sized devil. He cocked his head to the side and smiled as she popped back up, seemingly uninjured. What would it take to kill someone that could take a bullet straight to the head? It had been awhile since anyone had captured his curiosity like this... it gave him hope that the otherwise boring day was about to turn around. "It felt.. spectacular." He grinned as he spoke, unbothered by her closeness and making no movement to pull his hands away as she grabbed them. "Guns aren't my thing... but I didn't expect them to feel so satisfying..." He added thoughtfully, finding himself excited by the experience. He had always preferred more personal methods such as blades or chemical warfare, but he supposed guns could be just as fun given the right circumstance. He hopped off of the bench and snatched up the gun from where he had dropped it beside him earlier, twirling it in his hand for a moment of thought before holding it out to her by the barrel, treating it more like a toy than a weapon designed to kill. "What kind of chaos did you have in mind, lil' devil?" He asked, flicking his hand out to try and gently poke one of her horns, clearly fascinated by them. Now that he was standing, he found he was nearly a foot taller than his new little friend despite not being all that tall himself, compared to most men anyway. "Sounds thrilling to me.. though we might want to hurry before a Hero sticks their nose into our fun." He added with a mischievous look to his crimson eyes as he glanced at the now nearly empty street. Mundane people were always so easily startled by the smallest of things. Rui Matsui,

Any minute now. Any minute now they were going to scream bloody murder and run away and she would get to laugh about it. That was what she thought, anyway. It's always how things played out for her. However, she was pleasantly surprised to find that Church seemed to revel in the violence, much like herself. ''Right? Right?!'' She exclaimed happily, jumping up and down on the spot with excitement while she held onto his hand. ''You get it, bestie, you get it!! I'm all about knives, but a gun to spice things up every now and then can be so much fun too!''She got even more excited when he stood up and took her up on her offer. Oh man, she didn't know what to do next because she had never gotten this far with this approach! She looked at the gun as he pointed it at her, then up at him, her smile unwavering. ''They're real! You can touch them!'' She reassured him about her horns. ''A hero?'' She pulled a face and put her hands on her hip as she let out an annoyed groan. ''Have you ever fought one? We could! Or we could go somewhere else...'' She was right back to being mischievous, tapping her chin with her index finger as she turned and looked around them, trying to spot something fun they could do. ''Oh! I almost forgot!'' She turned back to him and introduced herself with a grin. ''I'm Rui Matsui! But I'm also a villain, have you ever heard of Mummy? That's me! Not because I have kids, but because my skin does this.'' She unpeeled the skin around her hand like it was wrapped in bandages, exposing the bones underneath, but curiously, no blood or veins or anything else. She was just skin and bones. ''I want to see how you fight, it's kind of a hobby of mine!'' She hummed, putting her hands behind her back. ''We could hurt some random civilians.''Church Blackburn

Church looked at her thoughtfully before chuckling and glancing back to the action figure where it now sat abandoned on the bench. "I've fought heroes, but none from this country yet. They strong here?" He hoped so. The stronger the person, the more fun he had trying to manipulate and mess with them. He may not be physically strong by any means, but there was still a lot of fun to be had when you were smart enough and had a cockroach-like knack for not dying.
He glanced back to her and grinned before running a finger up one of her horns with an expression that seemed a mix of wonder and amusement. He had always been fascinated by such mutations. "Quite beautiful aren't they?" He commented as he withdrew his hand and winked before cocking his head to the side and looking down at her... 'unraveled' hand. For a brief moment, his eyes seemed to take on a dark gleam as a similar image flashed in his mind's eye from a long time ago, but the dark look vanished just as fast as it came. It had caught him off guard a bit, a memory he had long since pushed to the back of his mind, but it was funny how similar her hand looked... besides the gore that came with something melting from the inside-out.
"Nice to meet you," He flashed her a warm smile and stepped back before placing his hand on his chest and giving a little mock-bow, "They call me The Silver Viper, but you can call me Church, or Silv, or 'that bastard'... I don't really care what I'm called." He introduced himself, his smile shifting into a more mischievous expression. "Most would call me a Villain as well, but that's more of a fun little hobby of mine. I make my living trading information and other, more illegal, things." He straightened up and raised an eyebrow as she mentioned wanting to see him fight, the excitement from before returning to his crimson eyes.
"Well, I'm more of a schemer than a fighter, but if I was to fight for someone's entertainment, doing it for a cute little devil seems like a blast." He chuckled and glanced around for a moment before heading off with a skip in his step toward an alley that cut over to the next street. He could hear the mindless droning of excited voices coming from up ahead, people oblivious of the scene that unfolded only a few blocks away. In a way, they deserved whatever was about to happen for being so complacent and ignorant of the danger a city held.

She blinked her eyes at Church. ''No way, really?! Are you not from here, where are you from?'' Church was already interesting, but the fact that he had traveled suddenly made him all the more mysterious to her. ''They're plenty strong. You should pick a fight with those guys at Maxima, they're tough.'' She grinned, referring to the Maxima Hero Agency. ''If you don't believe me, ask my bomb bestie, she fights heroes all the time. I'll give you a way to contact her.'' She felt like such a responsible villain for once, making besties and letting those besties meet each other! ''Do you like horns? My dad used to like horns.'' She remarked, looking at his arm while he touched her horn. Then at his face. He really wasn't scared at all, not even a little bit. ''Yeah, well,'' she couldn't help but smile big when he called them beautiful and winked. ''they're just like, horns.'' She barred her sharp teeth in her smile. Then next thing she knew, she was showing him her quirk like it was a magic trick. Of course she only showed the visual side of things, he had yet to see it in action for real, for real! When he took a mock-bow she burst out laughing. ''You're so formal!'' She mimicked the mock-bow, although much more clumsily. ''Then, I'll call you Silver Bestie! You're in the villain business too? I can show you around! I don't sell illegal information, but I've been a villain here for years so I know all the ins and outs!'' She was going to graciously skip over the part where she had been arrested more times than anyone bothered to count. When he stood up and agreed to showing her how he fought she was practically jumping for joy. ''Yes, yes! Show me what you can do!'' If she did have a devil's tail it would be wagging as she followed him. ''How do you do it? Do you go all quiet and sneaky, or do you just run in and start attacking people?''Church Blackburn

"I'm from Canada. I hopped the Pacific, and now I am here." That was the simplified version of it anyway. A lot of things during the trip were better off not said. "I'll have to remember that name." He added thoughtfully, making a mental note to look into heroes related to Maxima the next time he was bored. "Your bomb bestie sounds fun." Church smirked and wondered what kind of woman would earn that nickname. Surely meeting her would be interesting.
"I enjoy their symbology and find them quite intoxicating to look at, always have for as long as I can remember. Yours are my favorite so far I think." Church grinned with a quick nod. He wasn't sure why he was fascinated by them, but he remembered it as far back as four so he supposed it was just how he was wired. Regardless, Rui's perfectly-arched horns by far topped his list. Their hellion vibe only made it better.
"Despite how I turned out, I was raised with proper manors." He chuckled in response to being called formal. His family may have been lacking morals, but they had never lacked etiquette. His mother had taught her kids as if she had dreams of them sitting down for dinner with royalty, but he had to admit it was a wonderful tool in his arsenal. "A Tour Guide sounds fun!"
As they approached the crowded street, darkness was beginning to creep in on the glow of the store lights. Now that dusk was settling in, visibility was skewed slightly by the many lights, creating sharp shadows and contrasts. It gave him an idea... "Stay here and I'll show you.." He gave her a wink and slipped a switchblade out of his pocket before slicing a deep cut across both of his palms with no hesitation, then he slipped it back into his pocket and slid into the crowd.
A touch here, a bump there. Church moved through the crowd so nimbly that had the civilians not been there it might have looked like he was dancing. If someone was perceptive enough, they might have noticed the darkened mark of a liquid on clothing left in his wake. Most were smeared on shoulders or backs, a few on arms, and a good smattering of droplets on legs. Then he slid from the crowd and returned to Rui before standing beside her and sticking his hands in his pockets. "5, 4, 3, 2... 1."
It started with a shout. A man in the crowd was hollering and swiping at a hole in his shirt over his shoulder-blade. The exposed skin was paling to the point of looking almost grey, and the man's panic was growing rapidly. Then, slowly, people in the crowd began to shout and scream, each having similar holes in their clothing. Church watched on as the street was slowly consumed in panic. "Spirits of salt is a beautiful thing." He commented. "I do hope they can find water."

''Canada!! Is that overseas? That sounds like it's far away from here.'' She loved meeting people who were from the world outside of Japan since she hadn't ever traveled much herself. She had pretty much been a villain, or at least treated as one for as long as she could remember, and it was much harder to travel abroad when she was already wanted by the government. ''She's very fun! She fights like no one else and she doesn't even have any powers. You would think that makes her a weakling, but she's strong for a bleeder.'' She nodded her head thoughtfully. When he complimented her horns again she was practically beaming with happiness. ''Thanks!! You have good taste, they're the strongest horns too! I could level a skyscraper with them if I wanted to!'' She boasted proudly, having no issues throwing out bold-faced lies as if she thought she was an expert at lying. ''What, were you like rich and stuff? I hear rich people have lots of silver.'' She grinned up at him, taking out a knife and twirling it around in her hand, anticipating that she might be stabbing some civilians soon. ''Like right here?'' She pointed at her feet, and was about to find the nearest place she could climb up and perch on, but was immediately distracted when he cut into his own hands. ''No way, bestie!'' She giggled, watching his next move with much more interest. Few people were willing to hurt themselves like that, only those who really appreciated violence weren't scared of getting hurt themselves. ''What is he doing?'' She muttered to herself, finally climbing up to get a better view. Was he attacking? No, not really, not unless he was attacking so fast that no one was reacting to his punches. Was she supposed to lookout for something small? Oh! The switchblade! He was totally assassinating people left and right, slicing them with his blade, as expected of her Silver Bestie! ...Wait, but where was all the blood then? She crossed her arms and furrowed her brow as he came back to her side. ''I don't get it.'' She whispered, but she spoke to soon as she turned to look at the crowd once more, anticipating his countdown. She watched with wide-eyed excitement as one man started panicking, and it only spread from there. ''Woah! He started screaming but you're over here, that's like, how the strong people attack in anime and stuff!'' She smiled back at Church but quickly turned her attention back to the wonderful scene of terror. ''Why, are they thirsty?'' She looked up at him nodding her head insistently. ''I get it now! Your quirk, it's some kind of, you have salt in your blood, and that eats people's clothes and also their bodies?'' If they weren't already at risk of being apprehended by a hero, now they had certainly brought a lot more attention on themselves. ''Hey, did you get hurt bestie? I have a trick up of my sleeve in case you're bleeding salt, or have a headache or sore muscles.'' Thankfully the cover of dusk should help them slip away. ''Also we should probably get out of here unless you want to fight a hero.'' She teased, sticking her tongue out. ''I know a shortcut to safety! ~''Church Blackburn

At the mention of being rich, Church had to pause and consider it for a moment. His parents had never had need for more money, their business had been busy and criminals paid well, but they hadn't really lived as such. Which, considering the money came from illegal activities, he could guess why. He and his siblings had lived pretty low-class, but never for a lack of cash, and when they had wanted something they usually got it. "My parents had money, but not by legal means so we didn't live fancy. I may have been spoiled back then, though." He replied finally with a chuckle. Thinking about the past had hurt once, but now it felt to Church as if it had all happened to another family.
As they stood watching the chaos, Church grinned at her enthusiasm before pulling a hand out of his hoodie and holding it up to expose his still-bleeding palm. "Simply put, my blood can change what it's made of, such as," As he spoke he gestured to the shrieking crowd. "Becoming an acid. Spirits of Salt is my favorite name for that particular acid." As if to demonstrate, the blood dripping from his palm suddenly shifted into a clear liquid, hissing as the droplets splashed onto the sidewalk at their feet. "It doesn't hurt me though." He added, licking the acid from his palm and smirking. "I'll be fine, bleeding this much doesn't faze me." He added, waving away her concerns about him bleeding. Most of his waking day he was bleeding somehow, be it to cause mischief or simply because it helped him release pressure in his mind. Regardless, his body produced enough blood that the cuts on his palms might as well have been paper-cuts.
"As tempting as it is, I might save Hero fighting for when I'm more better prepared." He watched his little show on the street for a moment more before turning to Rui and sweeping his arm to the side with a bowed head. "Well in that case, lil ladies first." He responded with a wink, inviting her to lead the way to this short-cut of hers. As much as a part of him wanted nothing more than to mess with a Hero, he knew little to nothing about the Heroes in this area yet, and as such knew better than to go in completely blind if it could be helped.

''Really? Were your parents part of the yakuza or something?'' She asked with genuine interest, trying to understand what his past might have looked like, but from the narrow cultural scope of her own lived experiences. ''I had a mother and then I was adopted. I killed my father and then I've kind of been doing crime ever since.'' What she didn't specify was that she killed her adoptive father who turned out to be not so great after all. Her biological father she had never even met. ''Woaaaah!'' She gasped, jumping up and down on the spot out of excitement. ''You can change your blood. It doesn't hurt you? But you're bleeding.'' She pointed at his hand as if to point out the flaw in his logic, but then again her quirk wasn't exactly logical either. ''You're tough, Silver Bestie! But if you ever need help just let me know and I'll fix you right up, with the bestie discount too! ~'' The people screaming around them was kind of starting to get on her nerves. Watching people suffer was fun, but sometimes it could also become too much, especially when they were this loud. ''In that case, let's get outta here!'' She winked back, running to a nearby alleyway. ''Stay right there.'' She unwrapped the bandage skin around her hand, then kept unraveling it until her whole forearm was exposed, revealing nothing but bones underneath. ''And a one and a two!'' She flung the bandages up towards nearby fire exit scaffolding, hoisting herself up with ease since she barely weighed anything to begin with. Once she got up she let her bandages dangle down over the ledge like a rope. Like the demonic Rapunzel, throwing her skin out of the window for the acid-riddled prince. ''Grab my skin!'' She braced herself on the railing to try and leverage it to pull him up. ''Don't worry, it won't hurt me, Silver Bestie! I take to the rooftops all the time, heroes never see it coming.'' They did occasionally, but for the most part that was only when they brought heroes with quirks that had effective vertical scaling abilities. Once it seemed like they weren't going to be pursued anymore, Rui found herself returning to a question again and again as they walked along the rooftops. ''So, why Japan? Weren't you already doing well in the Pacific back in Canada? You said you fought heroes and stuff.'' She unraveled some bandage skin around her other arm and shook it a couple of times until a pack of raisins fell out. Picking it up with her hand she rattled it a couple of times before taking one out and eating it. ''Raisins?'' She asked Church, handing him the package. Church Blackburn

"Nah. My parents ran a clinic, but their patients were villains. My mother believed all people deserved to be healed, and also appreciated their protection in return. Even criminals know not to hurt their only doctor." He smirked and wished his quirk had been as strong as his mother's, that would have led to some good cash. Although he had inherited the quirk of both of his parents, it had caused them to loose their potency. Not only had his mother's quirk changed the compounds of any liquid in her body, but she'd been able to control them outside of her body as well, something Church had never been able to do.
"Knowing my magnetism for trouble, I will likely take you up on that offer some day." Church replied, both honest and clearly amused. Besides the fact that he enjoyed her energy and mischief, he knew that knowing someone with a healing quirk was also incredibly useful. Especially when you've had as many near-death experiences, and talent for getting into trouble, like Church did.
He followed Rui over to the alley and watched silently as she unwrapped her entire arm, both concerned for what he could imagine was about to happen, and also morbidly curious. If she tosses her skin like a grapple... op, she did. He watched in fascination as the skin-bandages sailed into the air and caught on the fire escape, effectively making a rope. Honestly he was rather impressed by the ingenuity that had led her to even figuring out such an idea. As she tossed it down to him he tickled it experimentally before simply committing and using it to climb up enough to grab the ledge and pull himself up. Then he rolled to his feet and continued on, reminded once again that life could indeed be wild sometimes. One moment you're bored and playing with an action figure, the next you're climbing essentially a skin-rope.
Why Japan? Well... frankly he hadn't any idea of where he was headed when he boarded the plane. However, he'd admittedly been quite delighted when he had found out. "I did, but due to a poor choice on my part, a Vigilante got a vendetta against me, so I left after the second time he nearly killed me." Church chuckled at the memory before shrugging. "I had no idea where the plane was going, that was left as a surprise, and a very good one at that." He added, the multi-colored glow from the fluorescent store signs lighting up his eyes as he glanced over the edge with a grin. He rather enjoyed this country so far, it had a liveliness his own had lacked. It was as refreshing as a breath of crisp night air.
He glanced down at the raisins as she offered them and raised an eyebrow for a moment before shrugging and popping a few into his mouth. He couldn't judge. If he had her quirk, only god knows the things he'd have in there. "What kind of things do you usually do for fun around here?" He looked around before grinning mischievously as he looked back to her. "Do you ever drink? Or partake in drugs? How would that work with your quirk?"

''Wow.'' So he wasn't some kind of duke or prince from a far off land. Not unless she just decided he was and that even a prince's parents could be working as doctors in a clinic. ''Your parents sound like nice people. You know I'm a doctor too.'' Self-proclaimed doctor anyway, but she didn't have to say that part out loud. ''Can't wait! ~ You know, trouble is the best business in Tokyo. You'll never get bored out here.'' She stopped and smiled. ''Between the vigilantes, the heroes and villains like the Elementalist everyone is just ready to go at each other's throats.'' She grinned, squeezing her hands together like she was wringing someone's neck. ''Do you have trouble killing other villains, Silver Bestie?'' A question from out of nowhere, but it was one she wanted to get an answer to, to confirm somethings about her mysterious new bestie. ''Whew.'' She let out a sigh as she caught her breath once he made it up her skin rope. ''It's not that you're heavy, bestie.'' She shook her head gently as she was reeling in her skin slowly and wrapping it back around her arm. ''It's that I don't have any muscles!'' She giggled, sticking her tongue out. The rooftops was not only the best way to chill after committing some crimes, but it was a great place to have a conversation and ensure no one would interrupt them either. ''He sounds like a loser.'' She frowned. ''What's his name, I'll get him for ya!'' She rolled an invisible sleeve up her arm and held her fist up high. ''I guess when you put it like that, that bastard is the reason you're here now!'' She brightened up, shooting him a finger gun. ''I'll thank him, before I shank him.'' She was all smiles when he accepted her raisins. They were just ordinary raisins this time around. ''You like 'em? I always keep a pack on me!''She walked over to the edge and sat there for a moment, letting her feet dangle. ''Drink, partake in drugs?'' She grinned wickedly up at him. ''Bestie, you have got to come with me to the Hibernacula.'' She hopped back onto her feet, never sitting still for long. ''That's the best place in town for fun! The owner knows how to cast magic!'' She twirled her fingers as if she was about to cast a spell. ''As for my quirk, I just need more alcohol than your average person! Is your crazy blood affected by substances at all?''Church Blackburn

"Are you? Should I be calling you Dr. Lil'Devil then?" Church smirked and glanced side-ways at her as he walked. "I never had the mind for fixing things like they did... I could memorize the substances, but never how to use them like that." He shrugged, unbothered besides the missed cash opportunity. His job at the clinic had been to supply his father with what he needed, he hadn't cared to learn more until it was too late. Though he supposed it might be handy to learn a few basics... He was pulled from his thoughts as he was asked a question and blinked for a second before laughing. "Well, do you mean in combat? Or as in moral dilemma? Cause the latter should be clear by how we met.." He flashed her a mischievous smile before shaking his head. "I don't care what a person is, so long as they amuse me. If killing them amuses me then It's easy. As for fighting.. depends if the fly is bigger than the web."
"He was very much a loser. Granted, he did force me to learn how to deal with fire, so it wasn't a total loss. Burning sucks though, even in rainbow." He added as he tapped a finger on his lips absently, trying to remember the guy's name. "Northern Flare? I think? It was some play on the northern lights and corny as hell." Church had never had much interest in the guy, but he'd practically stalked Church for two years. Something about killing his son or uncle or whatever, Church had never actually known which person it was that the guy was monologuing about, but if he was half as annoying as Northern-whatever than he likely did kill them at some point.
"Hibernacula?" Church smirked at the name. "Sounds like a blast." He hopped up onto the roof rail and walked along it almost as if he were drunk already, or perhaps just enjoying playing with danger. He spread out his arms and tottered back and forth, taking long strides and occasionally spinning or hopping as if just vibing as he spoke. "When my blood's normal, yeah. My quirk can produce alcohol and some drugs... but it lacks the same flavor."
