''So... The day has come.'' She looked over at Enma as they approached the administration building. After their little villain run-in it was only a matter of time before the school would want to talk to them. ''No matter what happens next, I want to tell the truth and only the truth.'' She reached out to give his hand a squeeze. ''A hero should not lie, even if they have done something wrong.'' It was shameful that they were both called up together, but truth be told she felt a little braver, a little safer heading into this conversation together with him and not alone. ''This should be the room.'' She looked at the number one more time before giving the door a knock with her hand. What teacher were they going to talk to today? One of the strict ones? One of the nice ones? What did the school have in store for them? Her and Enma weren't exactly your typical rule breaking delinquents, and even if they were their infraction surely wasn't a terrible one. She had used her quirk in public without a license, but it was in the name of self-defense. They hadn't sought out a villain, the attacker had come to them. Enma had a provisional license so he would probably be okay. Although... They did do quite a lot of collateral damage to their surroundings while fighting the assassin. She could recall Enma getting thrown into a car, tearing a bench that was bolted down out of the ground and at one point she probably flew into a car too. The whole thing was still a bit blurry to her. ''This is Ando Masao and Arashi Enma, may we enter?'' She spoke up, waiting for the go ahead signal by the door. The teacher they came face to face with was one she didn't know all too well herself. Tiburón. She normally taught more combat oriented classes, didn't she? No wonder she didn't swing by the support department all too often. ''Tiburón-sensei, we're here about the recent incident we were involved in.'' She did her best to act stoic, but she was nervous, Enma could probably feel it in her hand. She couldn't risk getting expelled. Not now. Not when she was finally making progress. enma, Mar

As they walked, Enma was worried what they might do to punish them both, namely Masao. What occurred was not fair to her, forcing her into a position where she needed to fight back. A combatant like that assailant was not going to simply let her run away. Maybe if...if she hadn't been so close, Enma could have let loose sooner. Or maybe without her, he would have been riddled with wounds. Leaving with broken ribs was the best outcome he could have hoped for for himself. For Masao? Her safety. That was the number one priority. Feeling her hand squeeze his, his worries and what-ifs melted away. Looking back at her, his innocent eyes would not show the killer that took to that battlefield. "Yes, the truth is the only choice. Just know that we're in this together, Masao." With a sweet smile, his stoicism would return as they approached the office. Once they were allowed in, Masao would start off but despite her strong voice, he could feel the trembling. Where she was ready to speak, her body was ready to flee. Enma did not waver physically, but felt his words vanish as he felt the need to speak. After a moment, he greeted Tiburon without letting go of his girlfriend's hand. "Tiburon-senpai, we can explain to the best of our ability as to what happened."To tell the truth, the assassin was a surprise for the both of them. Maybe Masao would learn more, but Enma was surely in the dark. The fact of the matter was that they were freakishly fast and strong in both forms, something only the hard-trained swordsman could compete with. Had it been anywhere else where he couldn't get a bat, they'd be left in ribbons. If it came down to it, Enma would take full responsibility for the collateral damage. That fight...showed a more destructive side to him. Masao hardly caused any herself. Masao Ando Mar

The knock on the door prompted Mar to give the door a sleepy glance, head propped up on one hand and half-dozing. Yawning and stifling it behind one hand, she perked up at the names given. Sitting up straight and taking a moment to fix her hair and get her serious-teacher-mode face on, she called out. "Enter." And glanced at a clock to make sure they were in fact on time after they had said it. She'd heard about what had happened in a vague, second-hand sort of way and it'd been decided to have her handle it. Mostly because other teachers were busy, but it'd meant she'd gotten a chance to sneak in some rest while she waited at her office for the two to arrive.
Sizing up the two students, her face was stony and deadpan and probably came across as intimidating to most people. Noting the hand holding one of her eyebrows twitched upward in curiosity, but she didn't dwell on it. It wasn't her business at all and they were adults, but she did admittedly have an inner gossip from time to time. As she turned her attention toward Enma and gave a nod, she confirmed in a level tone: "Explain yourselves, both of you."
While there had already been some debate among teachers on what to do tossed around, Mar was insistent on hearing what Ando and Arashi had to say for themselves. Had they gone seeking trouble and then caused all that damage? Were they just caught up in the moment? Was the damage they caused the best they could do to prevent worse damage from happening? Had they panicked and lost control of the situation? To Mar more important was assessing them as future heroes and figuring out what problem points could be revealed by this whole incident and what training might help them improve. Technically in the form of detention, probably, so that it seemed like a punishment. Masao Ando, enma,

Mar was always the type of teacher that was really hard to read, or so Masao thought. Was she actually mad at them or just tired? She didn't realize the irony at the time, but Mar's emotions were often so muted, so... stoic, that it was hard to tell what kind of mood she was in. She was nervous, but Enma was right, they were in this together and before she knew it he was the first to speak. Hearing Mar request that they both tell their side of the story, Masao chimed in, as to not leave Enma feeling like he was doing all the talking on his own. Squeezing his hand a bit, she wanted to reassure him she was here too. ''We... We were out on a date when it happened.'' She glanced at Enma, but made sure to talk to Mar. ''I didn't notice it at first, but Enma-kun did. He pulled me out of the way when we were attacked.'' She said it like it was a shameful thing, like she was a disgrace of a hero-to-be for not having seen it herself, for not having been stronger, faster, better. ''Uh, the assailant came to us, we never sought out any trouble, we were in Tokyo because Enma wanted to show me his father's store.'' She dared lift her head a bit, looking over at Enma. ''Isn't that right, Enma-kun?'' She passed the ball to him, letting him explain a bit of his side of the story as she realized her nerves was making her explain it in a way that might be a bit disjointed and confusing. Mar, enma

[attr="class","body"] Thinking about the destructive nature of his fighting, Enma felt embarrassed. The darkness that lingered in his heart regarding villains was not one he has faced head-on, but Masao helped him reflect on it. She might not have done so knowingly, but it didn't feel good becoming a monster to fight a monster in front of the love of one's life. They hadn't admitted their feelings yet, but it was very real and tangible romance between them. It made the decision justified and in a sense, there was no regret. Enma knew he needed to do better, not only for himself but for those he would dare say he cares about. That was how he would honor his deceased family members. "Yes, it was supposed to be a sweet night, but ended up being a nightmare." Nodding and finding solidarity in Masao's gaze, he took her hand and squeezed it. "The assailant was an abomination, able to transform with red-hot steel weapons for hands."Was that honest? Enma had a part in the destruction of the street. Masao, even, used a bench to assail the Cyberpsycho. "But...I cannot hide my hand in unrestrained fighting. We fought together, but I contributed more collateral damage than I am proud of. I just...couldn't see..." He briefly turned to Mar as he confessed before looking into Masao's eyes and pausing. With confidence, he met the tired gaze of Mar once more. "I needed to stop them. I was reckless, but he was powerful and I felt like if I held back, Masao would die. I will do better to redefine my approach, but please do not punish her as she is the victim here." With trembling fingers wrapped around Masao's hand, he hoped to take the brunt of whatever reprimand was coming.
