The Field
"HELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
An ear-piercing scream was followed by a hollow silence as something briefly emerged in the distance and then submerged back into the grass, shaking the field as it did. The flutter of wings as a vibrant bird-like creature landed on a giant moss-colored anthill jabbing it with its talons. "Yo! Rejects, you're up to clean up the scraps!" several cat-sized glowing blue ants crawled out of the opening and scurried across the field, chowing down on what remained of the previous unfortunate victim.
As your group enters the field, your presence doesn't go unnoticed. The bird creature tilts its head as it observes the three of you and then takes flight. "Oooh! Regular humans? That's new!" It floated gently at first and then surged upwards, high into the sky, as it circled the group.
"Yo big guy! Feeding time!" Its feathers would sharpen as it fell a great distance, getting fairly close to the ground before it flapped its wings, raining feathers down in a circle around the group. While none of you would be hit, the feathers resonated with each other, producing a low humming sound as the ground shifted again. A few meters away, you could see it - the leviathan wyrm.
One would notice that while it didn't have eyes it was still headed directly to the location of the three of you, the sharp exterior of the creature poised to tear through anything and anyone just as it did the earth beneath it.
What could be done? About 30 meters behind the group was a small wooden area, and to your left was a small pond approximately the same distance. Whatever your group's choice, it was not wise to remain in the same spot.
tl;dr - The creature spots the group and fires its feathers down while dipping in altitude to do so. - Leviathan Wrym heads to your direction - Fight or Flight?

[attr="class","body"] Disgusting. Raiden's face could not be seen, but his presence might make his feelings known. He didn't try to hide, he didn't cower. Armor-clad, having had it repaired before arriving to take care of this grotesque hunting grounds, it buzzed with crimson across its various lighted points. His body wasn't quite prepared to shed the armor yet, but the conditioning was coming along. Still, as red lightning rippled along the Hoshiguard's gauntlets, he stared widely at the monsters ahead. "I'm not your average human." Without hesitation, the piping bird had to contend with a quick bolt of red lightning that sliced through the air. Whether or not it would adjust its flurry of feathers mattered not, it was a warning shot anyways. Picking the wooded area nearby for cover, Raiden observed the torrential wyrm that came for the group. It didn't have eyes, but moved like it saw? Either these monsters had connected senses or, in typical fashion, it had senses that guided it. Vibrations in the ground was one option, but would its senses be disrupted by thunder and intense heat? How did it respond to return fire from Raiden. Quickly switching to his Green Lightning, his suit following with a color swap, he jumped and clung to a low branch while sending a spear of energy towards the wyrm to see how it reacted. One thing that Raiden had to be mindful of was proximity. Anybody close to him would have to contend with actual thunder ringing in their ears. It made anybody wanting to team with him want to keep a good spread. Looking back at the bird, he addressed his team. "The blind one will likely use vibrations, the bird will be annoying. If the bird helps command it, kill it! Anybody who can get me a clean shot, do so."Taunting the bird, a harsh tone followed. "You should've flown south, peacock."
-Fired a warning shot of Red Lightning at Bird -Retreated to the Woods and hopped up a tree -Fired actual shot of Green Lightning at Wyrm -His lightning is LOUD either way [newclass=.body b]color:#19e6bf[/newclass]

He was in a new environment, so his first instinct was to familiarize himself with his surroundings. He felt an odd shiver down the back of his neck, as the voice screamed out in pain. His body flinched, as Kozue fought the urge to dive into the fray to try and help. His logic was keeping a tight hold of the rein. It was too late. He eyed the weird bird thing, along with the number of ants scurrying along, holding bits of flesh in their mouths. This sight, made Kozue's stomach churn. Luckily, the people he was here working with wouldn't see him turning green. One of the benefits of having a helmet disguising his face. [break][break] Kozue had come prepared, or at least as prepared as he could. He was currently in his full vigilante get up. His modified helmet to disguise his face, the iconic sleeveless red hoodie, and the two aluminum bats strapped to his back, all came together to create the vigilante "Marauder". He wasn't totally sold on the name yet, but it worked well enough. He straightened up a bit, trying his best to seem cool and unfazed by the danger in front of him. Part of the reason he was a vigilante was to treat it as a dry run at heroics. So he still had to act the part and be inspiring and all that jazz. [break][break] The odd looking bird thing circled the group, mocking them. Kozue held his ground for a moment, still coming together with a plan of action. He lacked range, so while the other masked man could fire off his ranged lightning, Kozue didn't have that kind of luxury. As the bird thing circled overhead, firing off those feathers, Kozue raised his fists in an attempt to raise his guard. The bird missed each shot. Or maybe, they weren't being aimed toward them. With the circle of feathers now around them, Kozue looked toward the large wyrm like thing now making its way toward their group. Watching it move, Kozue found himself a bit curious. It seemingly lacked eyes, but was making a beeline toward them. Did it see in some other way? Like by sound or something? Or maybe vibrations? Kozue's gaze shifted toward the feathers, taking note of the humming. Was this how the wyrm knew their position? [break][break] The other suited man ran toward the wooded area behind them. It was probably the only cover they would be able to find in this field. Kozue debated following for a moment, but he still had a few ideas lingering in the back of his mind. Maybe he was overthinking things, but it wouldn't hurt for a bit of experimentation. Taking a sharp inhale, Kozue reached out and grabbed the nearest feather, pulling it from the earth. This thing felt like how they were being tracked why else shoot them in a circle around them? And while Kozue wasn't sure how exactly it worked, he was prepared to learn with some more tests. Pivoting quickly, Kozue began to go back. His end target was the wooded area behind them, but he wasn't just running straight toward it. He was going to the right, almost as if he was trying to flank the trees. If the feather was the key to how this thing saw, he hoped that this little added movement would help prove it. [break][break] As Kozue ran toward the wooded area, he took note of the green lighting flashing blasting out from the trees. Sure, it was a different color, but it was probably the other masked dude's quirk at it again. Kozue kept his attention mostly on the wyrm, watching how it moved and how well the lightning affected it. Once he had a bit more info gathered, he could formulate a plan. [break] [break] TL;DR[break] - Kozue is doing his best to see cool and tough.
- Holds his ground after the feather attack, lingering there for second.
- Snatches a feather and bolts to the right and back, hoping to loop around to the forest, and track the wyrm's movements.

Post by Arataki Noa on Oct 28, 2024 1:28:58 GMT
When Noa stepped out of the light of the teleporter that brought her to the new location, she only had a few moments to register that she did not exit with the same people she entered with. She didn't recognize the two others who arrived almost simultaneously as she did. Was there some mistake perhaps? She thought she had a good grasp of hero names and those participating in this raid but apparently, it was not enough. However, there was no time to protest these sudden changes to the team lineup. Even before she could they could make any introductions, they were already under attack by the entities that awaited them in that new zone.
There was a bird-like creature who could speak and seemed like it was the brains of this operation. Its partner was a giant worm-like creature that looked like it came straight out of a sci-fi novel. Noa quickly surveyed her surroundings and sighed in relief when she spotted the pond not too far away from them. Even if this wasn't the intended location she was supposed to be sent to, at least she wouldn't be useless here. While her two temporary allies headed for the woods, Noa made a beeline for the water source after the bird's initial feather attack.
Now that their group had split up into two, it was going to be a coinflip on which one the enemies would choose to attack, or it would have been. Two big tall guys, one of them even shooting blasts of lightning, versus a relatively smaller girl running in the other direction all by herself. If the enemy didn't choose to pick to try and pick her off for going solo, then she would question their decision-making. If she made it to the pond safely then that was great. But if she was attacked along the way, then she would have to defend herself. As she made her mad dash, she also unscrewed all the caps of the water containers she had on her at the moment and was ready to intercept anything that came after her.
When she finally got close to the pond, the first thing she did was to sense the volume of the water she had to work with. Ideally, she wanted enough water to engulf that huge worm. Until she figured this out, she would stand by and watch the enemies' movements for now. They would be in for a watery surprise should they choose to attack her at that time.
TLDR: Noa assumes there was a teleporter mishap as she ended up in a place with people she doesn't know. She heads for the pond while being wary of potential attacks sent her way while she is making a run for it. Once she gets to the pond, she tries to get a feel for how much water she is working with so that she can devise a proper strategy for attack.

The Field
"Hmmmmm?"
The bird Nomu was circling as it heard the crack followed by a narrow dodge of the red lightning "woah woah! Definitely not normal! The boss will definitely like you, but I'm NOT a fan!" It would dive slightly before circling back up, aiming to put some distance between them since its freefall earlier to deploy its wings. It may have dodged the lightning but it was a little too close for comfort!
The leviathan wyrm continued on its path but stuttered a bit once Kozue removed the wings from the ground, the crack of lightning made it adjust its path heading towards the forest area much faster than before and as for the green lightning, when it struck it, it simply bounced off its carapace and into the ground. Once it reached the location that Raiden had relocated to it leapt out of the ground, attempting to lacerate him with its sharp mandibles.
"Fly south??" The bird looked around, taking Nobu's words literally at first before smiling a toothy grin. "Ohhhhh, it's one of those "expressions" you humans have!" Its beady eyes zoomed in on Noa, who had split from the group. "I'd help your friend out before she gets eaaaaaaaten~ Feeding time, boys!" It whistled as it dislodged another feather at the anthill closest to the water. Several glowing blue ants would pour out and swarm toward Noa, and as one of them passed over a small puddle close to the water, it would freeze instantly. Uh oh.
They hadn't touched the pond, about the size of an inground pool, but it was only a matter of time. Should Noa stay too close to the water, they would surely take away her ammunition.
tl;dr - Bird narrowly dodges lightning, and flies further up to avoid any further strikes - Leviathan Wrym pauses briefly when Kozue picks up the feather but resumes when Nobu throws out Green Lightning - Green Lightning doesn't stop it. It leaps at Nobu, attempting to slice him with its mandibles. - Bird summons blue ants to deal with Noa, they begin to swarm towards her and freeze some of the puddles near her.

Most likely touch. Maybe sound. Or maybe even some kind of heat sensing, but Kozue doubted it. Either way, it was heading toward the masked man's location and fast. As it tore through the earth, Kozue's eyes looked past. Taking note of his female teammate who was heading toward the pond, Kozue worried about their separation. Should he have tried to rally everyone to stick close together? It would be easier to provide support if his allies were near. Then again, he hadn't taken the time to try and figure out quirks or anything. He wasn't really used to working in a group. It was way harder to try and plan in a situation like this. [break][break] Kozue glared as the bird creature continued their taunts, bringing attention to the separated girl. Was the bird like some sort of commander? Given how it had directed the wyrm and the number of blue ants now converging on the girl by the pond, Kozue felt it was an appropriate assumption. But with the whole flight thing, Kozue couldn't really do much to fight it. He really needed to add some sort of ranged option to his toolkit. But that would unfortunately have to wait for another day. [break][break] Given the situation unfolding around them, Kozue decided heading toward the pond was his best course of action. The water didn't do him shit, but his teammate over there was kinda outnumbered. Plus, in theory, the ants were a possible ammo source if he needed a bit of range. Practice his golf swing a bit to try and hit the bird out of the sky? It would probably be easier than punching that big wyrm to death. As he ran, seeing the puddle freeze solidified Kozue's resolve in this plan. He could handle the cold after all. [break][break] Still wanting to have some communication with his teammates, Kouze spoke toward the other masked man. "I'm gonna go give her a hand. I can make my body super heated, so I don't got range to work with. And I don't think getting up close is a good idea with that big thing. Oh and call me Marauder. Probably should have introduced myself sooner." His voice would come out in a deeper pitch, with a hint of robotic flair, thanks to the voice modulator in his helmet. Kozue would shoot the other masked man a set of finger guns, before taking off in a dash toward the pond. As he ran, he drew a bat, letting it build up heat as his arm began to glow red. As he ran, seeing the puddle freeze solidified Kozue's resolve in this plan. He could handle the cold after all. [break][break] Getting in close toward the group of the blue ants in an attempt to flank them, Kozue gave a wide swing hoping to smash the burning bat into the face of the closest ant. "Hey, sorry to cut into your dance. I felt like hitting something that I'd be able to reach. Call me Marauder." Kozue spoke as he swung his bat, keeping most of his focus on the ants themselves. If another ant got near, he'd swing again, trying his best to keep them at back. "My quirk lets me super heat my body. What are you working with?" She would be able to feel the heat coming off of Kozue as he did his best to pull their attention, possibly providing the girl an opening to strike them from behind. His bat wouldn't last too much longer with the heat and force he was putting into his swing. [break] [break] TL;DR[break] - Kozue is planning and regretting the lack of communication on his end.
- Tells Nobu his quirk and name, before rushing to help the outnumbered Noa.
- He draws a bat, heats it up, and starts swinging as he gives his name and quirk, hoping to give her an opening.

It was a bit naive of Noa to think that there were only two enemies to deal with. The bird and giant worm were obvious, but she should have paid closer attention to the mounds around the area which, in hindsight, should have clued her in that something else was lurking there under the ground. In this case, a group of giant ants emerged from the mentioned mounds that blocked the path between her and her destination. To make matters worse, apart from their size, the ants could freeze water on contact. It was far from an ideal matchup. Still, dealing with unexpected bad developments was an everyday occurrence for heroes. She didn't let the situation cloud her observations. In this case, she noticed again that the insect-like creatures seemed to respond to the feathers that the bird-like creature was throwing around. She wondered if that meant the feathers were a weak point.
To test her theory, Noa quickly opened one of the water bottles he carried and manipulated a narrow stream of water to strike and break the feather stuck on the anthill. She would then wait and see if that action caused any changes in the ants while continuing to keep her guard up. That was her original plan anyway. While waiting for the results of her little experiment, one of the people teleported to this area with her was suddenly rushing to her side of the field, bat in hand.
Was he coming to help? It didn't take long to answer that question. With a big swing, they started smacking the ants with their bat cloaked in fire. Fire? That was certainly a useful coincidence. They introduced themselves as Marauder. That was not a name that Noa knew. But she would take note of it from now on.
"You can call me Waterfall. As the name implies, water is my thing, but I need a source. These ants are in the way of the biggest source here."
She pointed at the pond she was trying to go to. If this guy could superheat things as he claimed, then maybe her goal wasn't out of reach after all. The assistance was welcome and it would make the situation easier for her.
"Thanks for the help. Sooner or later, we will have to deal with that bird directly. Do you have anything in the way of ranged attacks? If not, then maybe I can give you a boost, provided you can trust me."
She was formulating a plan of attack in her head. To deal with enemies that could fly, they needed an approach that attacked from multiple directions or an unexpected angle. But she needed to know if her temporary allies would be on board. While all this was happening, Noa was focused on avoiding getting hit by the ants while keeping an eye on the bird in case it shot more feathers in their direction.
TLDR: Noa will shoot a stream of water at the feather on the anthill to break it and see if that would affect the ants. She would respond to Marauder's introduction with her hero name and the gist of her quirk. She will then ask if he has a way to deal with the bird. While all this is happening, she is dodging and avoiding any attacks from ants that would target her while refraining from attacking them herself.

The Field
The bird continued to circle ahead, satisfied for a moment that its two "employees," as it liked to call them, would be able to get the job done. That was until Kozue made the call to leave the wyrm to Raiden and head to Noa's location. From high up above it would give a dismissive snort until it saw him brandish a weapon that completely obliterated an ant with ease.
"Nu uh, no way! A fire guy and a water girl?" Before it sent down a volley of feathers, Noa basically did the job for her, the pressure of the water hitting the feather causing a loud clanging sound which immediately ripped the wyrm's attention away from searching for Nobu, now on a path to collide with Kozue and Noa.
If that weren't enough, the bird would fall slightly out of the air as it prepared to fire a volley of feathers at the area around Kozue and Noa. "Nice try~ You all lose!" The ants weren't bothered by Noa's attempt for interference at all, swarming towards her and Kozue with more pouring out of the anthill and heading in their direction as if they were moving on instinct, without any regard to their safety.
tl;dr - Kozue obliterates ants with ease (It's Super Effective!) - The water from Noa causes additional vibrations as it hit the feather, prompting the wyrm to make its way to their location. - The bird dips low in order to fire another wave of feathers at Kozue and Noa. - More ants come out of the anthill heading towards the duo, not making any attempt to avoid or choose a new path of attack.

Decent elemental coverage. Hopefully it would be as equally as useful here in this fight. His super heated bat cleaved through the ants like butter, doing well to handle them at least. But it seemed like the wyrm he had fled from was now heading their way. Shit. [break] Kozue continued swinging his bat, doing his best to keep the swarm of ants at bay. "I can just heat up my body and stuff I'm in direct contact with. The furthest range I got is the end of my bat." Kozue swung again, as the bat in his hand began to become more and more dent and warped. Shit. It wasn't going to last much longer. "If you can get me up to that bird, I promise I'll kick its ass. I don't got any other choice but to trust ya teammate." This wasn't really the point to show weakness. Whatever Waterfall was planning, it was better than anything Kozue had up his sleeve. [break] Luckily the ants seemed pretty mindless. Walking straight into his bat half the time. Made it easier to limit the damage his weapon sustained. With the bird thing firing its feathers to help guide the troops, Kozue's general theory felt like it was becoming more and more likely. Taking out that weird ass pigeon general would also help limit the movements of the wyrm that was coming right for them. "Do you think you can vibrate the water in the pond? Pull the wyrm away to buy time for your plan." If the bird could manipulate the wyrm with vibrations, it only made sense that they could try the same. [break] No matter what, Kozue would be ready to follow whatever plan Waterfall put forward. If at any point he found himself in range of the bird, he'd keep his plan pretty simple. Holding on for dear life to the bird thing and super heating his arms. If it couldn't move it's wings, no more feather attacks to direct the wyrm. But if that meant they'd end up in a freefall toward the ground, so be it. They needed this bird out of the picture and fast. [break] [break] TL;DR[break] - Kozue is doing his best to keep the ants at bay, using his type advantage and their simple movements.
- Tells Waterfall he lacks range and he's willing to go along with any ideas she had.
- With the wyrm heading in their direction, he asks if Waterfall can use the pond surface to create vibrations to distract the wyrm.
- If Waterfall can get him within range of the bird, Kozue's plan in simple. Hold on tight to the bird's wings and to superheat his arms.

[attr="class","body"] A lapse in judgment, a flutter of the heart. Nobu chalked it up to his old age, but maybe there was more to fear there. Electricity ripped through his body whenever he used his quirk, it might've seized his mind and his heart. The team seemed to successfully fight back against the two monsters, but his lapse in operation might have been detrimental as every part needed to move. This wasn't the time for that. Nobu was Raiden now, he couldn't let himself falter. Thankfully, the wyrm that seemed to resist his green lightning was drawn away from him as he saw that he needed to amp up the pressure. Not only the pressure, but the heat. The friction. The fury. Raiden used this as his opportunity, as he had vanished into the ruined woods. Emerging, there was blue shining from his body as the monsters circled around the other two. Having been out of sight for long enough, Nobu would stare down the low flying bird and with energy coiling around his bracer, he would fire from a side flank on the bird. Anticipating where the bird would be and not where they were, he wanted to cleave it in half to negate its attack through wounding it or drawing its attention. "Marauder, Waterfall, focus on the Wyrm. I will shoot the bird down."A stern, commanding voice. Raiden didn't want to waste any time. A side-to-side movement was covered by his flanking, so the bird would need to go up or down. If he could track a second shot...a second bolt of blue lightning would follow. "Afraid of fire, peacock? Then fear the roar of Raiden, I command your death." With sharp annunciation, Raiden taunted and threatened the bird. Hopefully, the two could handle the hard chitin of that wyrm and the ant gremlins.
-Raiden has an old man moment -He fires two shots of lightning at the bird, one following his flight pattern and the second anticipating evasive maneuvers. -After the wyrm tanks his green lightning, he switches to that good blue, it's that 200 proof lightning. -Raiden tells the others to focus on the wyrm, taunts the bird dramatically [newclass=.body b]color:#19e6bf[/newclass]

The series of events in the last minute or so were not all favorable. Of all the results she could have gotten from her little experiment, she didn't expect that the tiny feather was too durable for her shot of water to break. The impact of the attack causing vibrations that attracted the ants and the wyrm was also unfortunate, but at least she got more insight into how it worked. As for her temporary ally, she kept it at the back of her mind that he was open to strategies they may need to employ later.
"I don't think vibrating water will grab their attention more than those feathers. So maybe we can use those instead. Cover me!"
The feathers were hard and tough to break, but the ground they were stuck to was not. Displaying her mastery of water manipulation, she would change the shape of her water into multiple orbs that would engulf every feather within her range and then pluck them out from the ground. She would then gather up the feathers and drop them with force onto the ground some distance away from where they were before the wyrm could reach them to reproduce the same clanging sound from earlier. If the feathers worked like how she understood it, the sound should attract both the ants and wyrm away from them and give them some space. If not then hopefully Marauder can be a good bodyguard for at least a few more seconds until she could defend herself and come up with another plan. At this point, she had opened up all the water bottles in her possession so she could really use the extra water from the pond soon. If the bird creature was that tough, then it was unlikely that the water she had right now would be enough to deal with the even bigger wyrm.
TLDR: Noa asks Maurauder to guard her while she tries to divert the attention of the enemies once more. Noa uses her water manipulation to pluck out all the feathers close to them and then throw them to the ground further away to attract the wyrm and ants away from her location.

The Field
"Ugh, you humans are so chatty and always telling secrets!" the bird quite literally chirped as its volley of feathers landed around the duo. It dove into dodging the first lightning bolt coming it was before continuing, "It doesn't matter since you're gonna die like all the res-" its voice was cut off as the crack and flash of the second blue lightning flew towards it. While it didn't get bisected, it did have one of its wings get cleanly pierced through; with an ear-piercing screech, it began to plummet to the ground cursing the whole way down obscenities.
Before it hit the ground or was intercepted by Kozue, its plumage flared up as all the feathers stood on end, sharp and resembling a porcupine. If caught it would surely cause deep wounds but if not it would hit the ground, and once it recovered, it would hone in on Noa. "Idiot! I'm gonna skewer you alive, and then my subordinate will carve you all to pieces! Even the Electric human can't harm it! Not while it's grounded!" it charged forward, aiming to embrace Noa in a way she surely wouldn't appreciate IF she wanted to continue living.
The clang of the feathers did a good job of distracting the wyrm as it temporarily diverted its path away from the group. However, the sound of the footsteps from the bird Nomu redirected it back to its main path, putting it between Nobu and Noa/Kozue. Its large body cut off sight lines between the two groupings.
The ants continued their death march, unperturbed by all the commotion as they continued to pour out of the anthill. As more and more continued to pour out, their number seemed limitless. With their path slightly blocked by the Leviathan Wyrm, some of them began to move towards Nobu.
tl;dr - Bird dodges first lightning, second cleaves through its wing (ITS SUPER EFFECTIVE) and it plummets to the ground. - Bird becomes STEEL porcupine and if caught by Kozue it would shred his hands. Charges at Noa to take her out of the fight permanently. - The wyrm is distracted by the vibrations from the feathers first buuuuuut it hears the clanging and rapid footsteps of the bird Nomu and changes direction putting its massive body between the two groups. - More ants come out of the anthill with no sign of stopping and now a small fraction of them are heading towards Nobu as well.

It worked somehow. The wyrm was distracted and it bought them a bit more time. If they were going to be more efficient, they had to pool their efforts into taking out one enemy at a time. As though to prove her line of thinking, when the old guy didn't have to worry about the wyrm hounding him, he was perfectly capable of dealing with the bird. And now that said flying menace was grounded, it was the perfect opportunity to take it out for good.
Noa had been holding back earlier since she didn't want to waste the available resources but she could stop worrying about that now. True to her namesake, it was time to make the water fall. But before it can fall, it first has to go up. She focused her water manipulation on the big pond and caused the entire thing to erupt like a geyser. The torrent of water was shooting upwards into the 'sky' and then getting everyone and everything in the surrounding area wet as though there was a moderately strong rain shower. Almost everyone anyway. With her water manipulation, there were three people there who were completely dry as though there was an invisible shield preventing the 'rain' from touching them.
"All the targets are doused old man! Just give us your biggest shock! I'll handle keeping the friendlies dry!"
The wyrm blocked the view, but the lightning man should have noticed the unusual situation that he was not getting wet by the water. Hopefully, he could put two and two together from her words.
Getting the two biggest targets wet wasn't the only reason Noa decided to go with this move. Given the characteristics of the ants freezing water that they touched, the ice created from the 'rain' pouring on their bodies should hopefully slow them down too if not freeze them in place.
TLDR: Noa causes the water in the pond to shoot up like a geyser and make it rain all over the area. Using her water manipulation, she keeps herself, Marauder, and Raiden dry. She shouts at Raiden that he is free to use his lightning in conjunction with the water as she is keeping them all safe. At the same time she is hoping that the rain slows down or freezes the ants movements when it comes in contact with them.

The aluminum bat he held in his hands was now twisted and warped. Bringing it the back end of the bat into the head of the closest ant. Letting the bat go, Kozue began to swing his fists. Punching down and low, trying his best to keep up the defense of the duo up. He could feel himself growing more worn, but he couldn't really slow down. "Shit. Come on. Keep pushing." Kozue mumbled to himself, through gritted teeth. He could feel his rage surging up inside him. He just had to stay focused on the task at hand, and the waves of mindless ants surrounding him. [break] With the spikes covering the bird general, Kozue held off on putting in into a grapple, as it somewhat crash landed, singed from Raiden's blast. Plus, with the ants around around them, he wasn't sure he could afford to leave Waterfall without cover. Shit, his own situation felt like it was getting worse. As the bird thing gave an angry taunt as it ran toward Noa. And with the Wyrm positioning itself between them and Raiden, the bird had the cover to avoid another lighting blast. With Kozue's building rage now having a target, Kozue's hands shot up, drawing his last bat. The heat building up in his hands began to focus on the bat, with it gaining a faint red glow. Kozue was silent. With clenched teeth, Kozue swung down the bat with both hands toward the bird once it reach within range. He job was to defend Waterfall, and by hell he was going to do it. [break] His main goal was simply to buy more time, as Noa poured down water all around them. He didn't follow through with extra attacks on the bird thing. Just enough to keep it back. Ants, birds, Kozue didn't care what was being thrown at them, he'd throw himself in front of whoever and start swinging to give support. It was only thing he could felt he could contribute. Luckily,. as the rain drizzled around them, both he and Waterfall stayed dry. A pretty unique application of whatever quirk Waterfall had. Kozue wasn't sure he'd think of a strategy like this. [break] [break] TL;DR[break] - Kozue is doing the same as usual, smacking ants now with his super heated fists.
- As the bird charges Noa, Kozue steps up mon defense and draws his last bat, swinging at the bird.
