WARNING: Obsessive natured person and talk of death

Auden wasn't sure that Alex could understand how he felt. The way that he had grown up and his connection to his sexuality and interests were so different from the star gazer. He'd known for a long time that he wasn't attracted to women or feminine presenting people, but it seemed that Alexandrei was many steps behind him. Not even being able to know if the idea of liking someone is a possibility saddened him; he knew that life wasn't all about finding someone romantically, but it seemed that Alexandrei had a hard time finding anyone at all. Even if Auden did everything in his power to be by his side and to be there for him, there was no guarantee that the hero was even interested in Auden. The thought made his expression even more somber than it already was.

It wasn't as if he had time to think about it though. Just as he was getting down in the dumps, he felt Alexandrei's hand clasp onto his own and pulling him away from the flashing lights of the few fans that he started to gather. People gasped, immediately thinking to the extremes as they started to get closer to them. Auden held onto his hand tightly, refusing to let go. In a matter of seconds, it seemed that people at started to get a bit too close to them, but that wasn't really something he was worried about. With wide eyes, he saw a flint of something shiny amongst the people that were getting closer; it wasn't the flash of a phone, but instead a knife. With it barreling towards Alexandrei, the hooded figured brandished the knife and aimed it straight for his torso.

Thankfully, or perhaps stupidly, Auden wasn't going to have it. There was no time to try and disarm the man, as any attempt to move his trajectory would still hit Alexandrei. The phoenix instead moved closer and in front of Alexandrei, taking the knife to the side of his abdomen. With a harsh kick, he was able to shove the assailant back and onto the concrete of the storefront. With their hooding falling to reveal their face, he recognized them to be one of the stalkers his company had warned him about. "You don't fucking touch him!" Auden's voice boomed out, and many of the people from the store had now left to film the event. "Wow! What a horrible person." Hushed whispers and hesitant movements surrounded them. "I can't believe they'd do that..." Auden had no clue if they were talking about him or the person who'd just stabbed him. With one hand holding onto his wound, the other would continue to hold onto Alexandrei, even as he shook with an emotion he was unsure of.

Looking back to the hooded figure, he'd immediately get up again, holding onto his stomach but looking to Auden with eyes of fury. "I'm your biggest fan... I've been following you and everything you do for the longest time. I've seen you two together- this filth of a person. You're too good for him, my bird. The fact that you're touching him makes me want to cut that pretty hand of yours off... It's been soiled." As if he hadn't noticed before, his azure eyes would look down to the stab wound in Auden's torso. "You made me do that, for being the slut that you are. If you don't want me, then you shouldn't exist!" With still some fight left in him, the man would try to lunge towards Auden in hopes of sending the knife through him completely.

"Oh really? Sounds exciting! You do seem to be... Raging with anger, or is it another emotion?" Auden didn't care about how he acted, because to him this was just fun. He wasn't going to room with someoen that was this angry all the time, so he had to text the limits.

"Me? No no, I'm just having fun." He'd smile, looking straight into his eyes. "You could say or do whatever you wanted to me, and I wouldn't be offended." With the people he's had to deal with in his life, some kid his age was the least of his worries. "I'm only touching down here to make sure you don't make a mistake and punch something. I wouldn't want to have to get you written up because you can't hold your temper."

As he was shoved away from his touch, Auden would in turn back off as requested. He'd stand there with his hands behind his back, watching him from a distance. "It's okay, I just wanted to make sure you were okay." Even if Auden touching him had been a bit too personal, he knew Echiiro's type all too well; people that thought with their fists and got upset and every instance of a subject that they didn't understand. Auden was more worried about something getting broken than himself getting hurt. "Sorry for invading your space, should we try again?" He'd offer out a hand to Echiiro, not close enough to be in his space, so that the man would have to move closer to Auden in order to shake it. "Auden Verchetty. I'm a model, and I like men. It looks like I'll be your roommate."

"I see." He'd look back to the huge dove wings on his back, finally letting them go out in either direction as they had been hidden behind his back. "You can say I'm like a phoenix." His hand would open slightly as he'd produce a small amount of flames inside it. "Fire is my specialty. I can heal with them too." Suddenly, the flames would go from their pink color to a cool blue before disappearing.

"Oh, your temper is as fiery as your magma I see." Even with slight jabbing, Echiiro got defensive of his stance and sexuality. "I'm sure I could beat you up pretty easily, yeah." Auden wasn't afraid to get hit a few times, especially not by someone that felt that he was on top of the world compared to him. Looking down to his fist, Auden would raise an eyebrow to it; was he supposed to be scared of fire and heat? Him, a phoenix?

"I'm not the one that started insulting you the second I saw you, big boy." Auden would place his fingers on Echiiro's chest, his fingers just barely touching his clothing. "I don't care how dangerous or explosive you are; if you're going to come into my dorm room and be an asshole, I won't let you down so easily." If Echiiro allowed, he'd slowly slide his fingers down to his hand, touching at the fist that he'd just changed the color of. "You think some fancy words and a big ego are going to scare me? Fuck off and think again."

"It's my job." Auden would say plainly, confused as to why he was upset that Auden was making money. It was good of him to be able to support not only himself, but his brother at such a young age. He didn't have to worry about money or about his future, since if he ever wanted to not be a hero, he could easily fall back on his other skills.

"Echiiro..." He'd state it again, trying to remember it and think of how it was spelt since he couldn't see it. As he disregarded being called cute, Auden for sure noticed the blush on his cheeks. "Seems that you aren't too offended by the compliment." The model would stand up, adjusting his dress and looking over to both him and his sister as they bickered. "It's okay." He'd smile to Homare, not really caring either way; the fact that Echiiro thought he was weak because he knew what he was good at was more than funny though. "Magma, right? Good to hear." It seemed they both had pretty dangerous quirks.

He'd nod to Echiiro leaving, before moving over to be in front of his new roommate. Cracking his knuckles, he'd stare up at the towering man. He was intrigued by him, and wondered how this living situation would suit them both. "You said I'm weak right? That's not very nice to say to someone that was complimenting you, especially when you seemed to be receptive." Auden would touch his own cheek, trying to point out that he saw the redness of Echiiro's from his one statement. Auden would get closer, his neck and head bending to an uncomfortable angle. "If you think I'm pretty, you can just say it. I don't like men that hide their attraction to me behind toxic masculinity."

Auden loved to go into malls just to see what the new fashion statements were. With how often it changed, sometimes he'd be dumbfounded with how weird some concepts came out to be. It was his job to keep on top of the latest things that were coming out, and to add them into his modelling as much as possible. Even if it wasn't his style, he sometimes he'd wear things just to get people talking because he knew that they'd be confused and interested to see why he chose it.

Today was no exception, as they were on the hunt for something that would fit the cover of his next magazine. With his mind distracted, Auden hadn't even registered that there was someone beside him. Looking over, he'd think to what he had just been asked and give a thinking gave to the individual. "Um, I suppose maybe? I'm not sure, not really a science person or anything." It wasn't he was going to school for after all. "Why do you ask?" He'd glance to see if they had anything in their arms. "Are you looking for something in particular?"

Right, Alexandrei was an idiot. He wasn't actually an idiot of course, but perhaps so unadjusted to the world around him that it seemed that he'd never experienced much. Even if Auden said it outright that he liked him and wanted to be with him, he was sure that the star gazer would take it the wrong way. Auden would just stare at him, feeling his heart sink in knowing that the feeling didn't seem to be understood, let alone mutual. "Right." Because he slept around and was frivolous, his nervousness around Alexandrei wasn't getting chalked up to attraction. Because I'm a whore, by crush isn't even recognizing me. Perhaps his own internal thought was a bit harsh, but he wasn't sure what else do or say right then.

Auden would listen, seeing the man struggle with his own idea of having a partner. After he answered, Auden would cross his arms and speak in hopes to clear it up a bit more for him. "See a partner like someone you want to spend a lot of time with. Someone that, even limitedly, makes you feel good emotions. Someone that you want to stay beside, and help in their life." It was a broad meaning, but maybe it would help him a bit to piece things together. "Really liking someone isn't all about sex or romance with them." Of course, the little phoenix had to figure that out through a lot of trial and error.

"If you find the right person, you'll make it work. You'll do everything in your power to make sure that it does, and fight for the chance to see them by your side forever." Auden was of course talking about and to Alexandrei, but he was sure that half of the meaning was lost behind his obliviousness.

Finally, a waiter would come out to their table, looking rather excited to be there. "AH! Verchetty, I'm such a big fan of yours! Is this your boyfriend?" She'd look over to Alexandrei, still in awe of the situation. "Just a friend." A small smile would come over Auden's lips as he looked to the waiter. "I am fine to sign something or take a picture, but please let me enjoy my time here as much as possible." To Auden, it seemed like a fair answer to give one of his fans, but it seemed that she wanted to comment on who Auden was as a person.

"Ugh, why are you never around women! I'm sure you could get chick you wanted." She'd roll her eyes at him. "You have so many fans that would literally do anything to be with you." Even with these comments, Auden would raise an eyebrow to her. "Sorry, what?" He wasn't as calm anymore, as he went from leaning back in his chair to sitting up and looking at her, dumbfounded. "I don't think commenting on my romantic or sex life is something that you should be doing right now." He'd look to Alexandrei, before sighing and getting out of his seat. "Let's go, I don't think this place is for us." He didn't want to have Alex be comfortable right now, or to put him in the spotlight. Before he could move to leave though, it seemed that the waiter started to take pictures of him, as if to get him to stay. "I can't believe you're such a rude person! Ugh! I'm going to post this on social media!" It seemed other took up the same stance, and started to take pictures of him, getting closer by the second.

"I..." Using his fire like a signal flare was the last thing that he had expected to be told to do. Would that work? Of course, but that was for sure not one of the reasons that he had thought of. "Yeah, sure." It made sense after all, and there was no point arguing about the fact that he was now learning a new use for his flames. Still, the fact that they were doing this because the stakes were actually a bit dangerous didn't make him very happy; Auden had to be on his toes if he didn't want to look like an idiot.

"I see, too bad." Auden knew that most of the time his flirting wasn't to go anywhere, but it had been a while since he had been flat out rejected. Even something that seemed simple to him didn't even phase Farrin; it made him interested to meet whoever he was dating. "Fine fine, it was just an offer but I understand." Waving off the offer he'd given him, Auden wasn't going to try to fight it since taken people weren't his type.

With the bell booming for them, he'd snap out of their conservation and focus on the task at hand. "Understood." A breath would come out, half conscious, before he would head off in the opposite direction. He had a goal to be met, and he was going to make sure that he completed what was needed of him to the best of his abilities. Running around to look for a bomb sounded a lot harder than he imagined. Auden had assumed that it would be comically big, loud, and bright. Instead, he was sure that this test was fit more for actual bombs, and not some cheap joke to get rid of the danger.

It took quite a while for his roommate to show up after he was told that he was going to be there, but that was fine for Auden; the longer the wait, the more he could enjoy the silence that came with no roommate. He would surely miss all the late night calls with his brother, or squealing whenever he got a text message from Alexandrei. Moments like those made him feel alive, but he supposed that he could always just go home if he wanted a bit more privacy.

With a racket of noise outside of the door, he assumed that the mess of a roommate was behind it. A feminine sounding voice beside a more husky one made his ears perk up though. Was this dude bringing his whole ass girlfriend here too? The look of disgust on his face wasn't going to go anywhere when he realized that he would have to see some sappy ass kissing as they parted ways from one another.

As the door opened though, the vibe of a couple isn't what he got at all; instead, something like what him and Felix did felt more akin to call it. He'd jump at how the door swung open with a lot of force, his eyes darting between the two of them as he'd hold onto his ankles and cup his knees with his chin. They were super loud, and he wondered if that was their natural state of being or if it was something that came out when they were around each other.

He stayed silent, only blinking as they struggled, before what seemed to be his sister would recognize him. "Hey." Auden would say faintly to Homare, a small wave coming from as he tried to keep a modest expression on his face. "Echiiro is it?" Auden would look past her for a moment to focus on her brother. He'd wait until they made eye contact before giving a confident smirk and winking to him. "Nice to meet you cutie~ Seems that we are going to be roommates." Depending on how he reacted to that, it would show if there was going to be a bigger issue that he wouldn't be able to look past. "That's your side." He'd motion with his head to the empty bed to this left.

He really wasn't expecting to have to fight anything today, let alone something that was literally made out of the element that he could summon and control. Did that mean he could look flames out of this thing? Doubtful, but the thought did lighten the mood a tad for him when he stared at the reaction of those around him. "You think I'm pretty? Are you hitting on me?" A wink, and he would pop his hip out a bit to the fire beast. "You're not bad yourself darling, if you weren't trying to hurt these nice people, I'd ask you if you wanted to go on a date. Maybe if you're a good boy and don't hurt them, I'll give you a good time." Auden doubted that this thing was going to back down, but it sounded hella funny to say that he was flirting with a literal fire; it's very on brand for Auden, honestly.

Seeing as the blast given to him by Miroru seemed to only make him stronger, Auden widened his eye sin disbelief. Shit, are my attacks going to be bad for this? if this dude ate lasers like they were a little snack, he wasn't sure that his flames would do much. Looking to see who was the most likely to get hit, he'd stay close to Miroru. "I get you like, absorb things and shit? If you can't take it all, let it hit me instead, okay?" This was of course before he'd see the fire beast come charging towards her. Man, if someone had some water, this would make it a lot easier, right? As the hit seemed to blast past Miroru, Auden would place his arms out and get a bit of a tingle of the yellow flames that emitted from him. Had it penetrated his fire-resistant clothing? He wasn't actually sure, and he instead looked behind him to check if those behind him were okay still. At the very least, he'd have some nasty burn marks on his upper arms from wearing something not fit for fighting. Was there another fire beast behind him? No, that had to be something else; he'd give the person he didn't realize was Takamiya, nor would he unless someone explained that to him. Looking to Kanna and Rui, he did a quirk up and down to see if they were hurt yet, before turning back to The Inferno to figure out what his next move was. He had no clue where Miroru went, but she was probably safe!

TLDR; Flirts more, and takes some of the yellow flames from the beast. He checks to see if everyone is okay.

"I'm getting a roommate?" Auden looked at the text message that he was given by administration. It caused him to string out of bed, half-disgusted and half-excited to know that he was going to have someone around him. Doing a quick scan of the room, he'd begrudgingly get up and clean up the other side of the room that he'd be using as a place to store his clothing.

After a few minutes of cleaning up, he'd move into his bathroom and clip his hair away from his face. With Agnis being with his company's staff, he wouldn't have to explain that he had a pet pigeon. Nonetheless, Auden would get changed into non-pajamas so that he could set a better impression to his new colleague. Were they going to be nice? Was Auden going to have to try to conserve how he acted? He would most likely just live at home if that was the case though, because he didn't want someone that was going to put himself in a box of someone else's ideas of who he should be.

Putting his arms over himself, he'd tried his best not to bite on his nails out of nervousness, but after a few moments it went away completely. Auden knew that he was a good person, and that whoever gets to be his roommate should be lucky! He was pretty, kind and had a lot of money. Plus, he was good at school, somewhat, so maybe he could even be a tutor! With this new emotions, he would sit down on his bed, legs crossed, and await for his new roommate.

Who did he like? Auden stared at him, dumbfounded, as he tried not to break down into hysterical laughter. Who did it fucking like? Was that a joke? Was Alexandrei trying to get him to confess so that he could make fun of him smooching on Chloe while he liked Alex? The whole process of him asking made Auden a bit bitter; if Alexandrei was interested, he should just say it so that Auden didn't have to be the one to be so bold about it! With the interactions that they'd had though, and how innocent Alexandrei seemed with romance, Auden doubted it. Even if he did have feelings for him, there was no telling if they were in the same frame of mind as him; Auden wanted them to make out and hold hands and go on do all the sappy things that couples were supposed to do.

"Isn't it fuckin' obvious who I like, Alex?" His eyes were narrow, spiteful, before he would sigh it off and leave the establishment with Alexandrei. Under his breath, he'd say a small statement to try to clarify his feelings. "Seriously, who else do I spend my time with, and want to be around?" Auden would shake his head in disbelief, unsure if even that would get through to him. Would it be better to just say it aloud, to admit it outright? It seemed so embarrassing, and knowing that Alexandrei probably wouldn't understand made him realize that maybe it was fruitless.

"Do you like anyone?" Auden would retort back after nodding along at the idea of getting sushi. He'd reply with that rather than telling him what direction to go, and instead showed with his sudden movement to the right and down a more populated street. "I mean, you're so handsome that I'm sure you... Have people that would like you." Another obvious hint, and for the first time in a few minutes he'd look over to Alexandrei. "What do you want in a partner?" With hopeful eyes as the rage had subsided, he wanted to know what Alexandrei wanted in not only him, but perhaps some random person he didn't know of that was getting is attention and affection.

After a bit more time passed, he'd stop at the entrance of the sushi place, eyes tracing up to the logo of the shop. "You still hungry?" Perhaps the mood was soured by their conversation, or even by the fact that people started to stare when they approached. "Omg, is that Auden? Who's the hunk?" Some girl whispered under her breath, the sushi in between her chopsticks slowly sliding out in the awe that she saw. Auden would roll his eyes and go inside anyways, getting them a table and once again sitting outside like they had when going to Chloe's shop. Sitting down, Auden would sigh and sink into the chair, trying not to look directly at Alexandrei or the small mass of fans looking in his direct. "...Thought you'd enjoy being outside, for Agnis too." The pigeon would still be propped on Alexandrei's shoulder, but seeing how upset Auden was, he'd slowly start to flutter over to his owner.

Auden smiled at the warning, using his blue flames to gently heal up the rest of Antoine's head; he didn't seem to care too much when it was him getting healed. "I'm fine, but thank you." Auden knew how to handle himself. Even if he got kicked out of UAU, he would be fine to continue as he was now, helping those who need it. "If the system is going to punish me for helping civilians, then maybe it's not for me." The phoenix shrugged, shaking his hands a bit and letting the flames disperse as the wound seemed to be closed up and healed.

With Antoine's eyes piercing into him, he'd stare back for a moment, before huffing it off. "I didn't believe in America's system, that's for fucking sure." Being left on the streets, with police and adults doing nothing; he only hoped that Japan was better. "If here proves to be the same, then I won't hesitate to do things my own way, to make sure that people like you don't get pushed into the dirt." Patting him on the head, he'd motion that he was good to move about now. "I'm so glad that there are people like you though, trying to take care of someone like me." A big grin, illuminated by his well maintained teeth. "You seem pretty decent, compared to other people my age." Auden would touch at himself, before grabbing something out of his boot. Pulling out his phone, he'd pass it to Antoine. "Maybe we can meet up again?"

Oh shit, he realized that using his quirk in front of a bunch of people, a fire one at that, may not be the best option. Biting his lip when he knew that he'd been the one that had made the mistake. He'd follow behind him like a little anxious dog, worried that Antoine wasn't even going to make it to the break room before passing out form blood loss or getting light-footed.

"Oh, sure." I guess it made sense that he wouldn't want to have fire in his hair or around his face. Auden would nod a bit before moving his hand and biting into it until there was blood. The phoenix didn't so much as flinch to this, and simply did it as he was asked to. Auden would move his hand closer to Antoine as if to show him that it wasn't some type of illusion, before having his other hand coat it in blue flames. Just as quick as the blood had started to drip down his hand, it would stop, the marks going away and leaving his skin flawless as it had been before. "See?"

Auden blinked a bit, tilting his head at the idea of it. "Ah, no." In reality, he was used to using it occasionally to add onto his modelling shoots; a little flair of fire in a picture seemed to sell better than none. "I used to live in America and I guess I forgot that people are a bit more strict here. I use it for work sometimes, but it's more for effect." It slipped his mind that he could have gotten in some trouble for showing it off so casually.

To his question though, Auden crossed his arms in front of himself. "Well... I guess you could illegally. If you do it in ways that aren't... Obvious and you hide your identity or have people that can for you." This was all knowledge from his USA days, but he was sure it applied here as well, right?

Oh, so he was a pussy? Auden was kind of surprised by the conclusion of the exchange, because he was more than ready to get his fists fired up (literally) and to enjoy a few good hits that he'd be able to either give or receive. He sighed, backing up a bit but not flinching as the door was pushed back in their direction. Yet again, Antoine saved him from harm, grabbing it like it was nothing more than Styrofoam.

Auden would just nod to the owner initially, before bowing as he received the business card. "Oh." The dude knew him? Huh, it made Auden wander what had drawn the man to be able to recognize him so easily, but that was a thought for another day. "I'd love to, thank you." Auden wondered how a burger campaign would fit into his image, but he'd make it work.

With the owner gone and Antoine on break, Auden's protector brain went into overdrive again. "Ah shit, your head right?" Without answering his question, Auden's hands would switch to a gentle blue hue, the flames around them circling in what seemed like a infinite loop. "Lemme heal you." He'd motion with his head to a table in the corner of the room, before pulling the chairs together and sitting down. "I'm a hero in training or whatever, but that has nothing to do with me staying beside you." He'd been in too many fights with people to know that there was a safety in numbers. "You? I don't recognize you." If he allowed, Auden would immediately coat Antoine's head in blue flames; they wouldn't damage his hair at all, but instead feel cold and gentle.
