The Doctor is InHebiru tactfully refrained from responding. It was rare that one's opinion changed when presented with contradictory facts and pushing further would only cause Yoko to double down. Unlike what her sister might have implied Hebiru's PhD in Psychology wasn't worth less than the paper it'd been printed on.
"I'm glad to hear it," Hebiru replied genuinely, something that was difficult to tell given the lack of emotion in her voice. "Nevertheless should you wish for assistance know my door will always be open." She was fully aware Yoko would not accept but even so it had to be said. If one day the girl truly needed help Hebiru wanted to make sure that she did not hesitate to ask her.
Yoko's next words made Hebiru pause for a moment. She couldn't quite explain that shutting down illegal research facilities was an excellent way to speed up her research, could she? No. She was fully aware how distasteful such a reason was. To have a proper future after her quirk-related problems were solved it was better if no one ever found out about that.
When Yoko replied to her hammer joke Hebiru felt the slightest twinge inside. Had Yoko simply been putting up a brave face earlier? Was she just hiding behind her bristly attitude to prevent anyone from looking closer? Perhaps she should look into the girl's home situation after all. It was highly unlikely but if Yoko's earlier comments were a cry for help Hebiru would never forgive herself for missing it. It was a good thing that Shokuhou had decided to enter the conversation when she did. Hebiru definitely needed a moment to consider her options. Handing over the partial strip of painkillers she was just about to answer Yoko's question and clarify the medicine's usage when Shokuhou spoke up once more.
"Oh, you know. One thing led to another and apparently mind controll is illegal," Shokuhou replied with a self-deprecating smirk.
"Shirei. That is classified information."
"Aww hells, here I go messing up again."
Hebiru's eyes narrowed. Where was that girl going with this?

The Doctor is In "I am certain he cares more about your feelings than whether you are successful," the hollow doctor replied. It was a theory she'd pieced together over many years of accomplishment after accomplishment. Throughout her work at hospitals as well as more specialized clinics she'd oft observed parents intuit underlying problems with startling accuracy, oft without rhyme or reason to their methods. Although the actual diagnosis tended to differ greatly from what their observations had led them to conclude it wasn't far fetched to assume that through their time spent together their father had been able to realize just how much his oldest daughter's quirk had affected her psyche.
"I shall endeavour to keep my advice short and succinct in the future," Hebiru acknowledged with a nod. It would be hypocritical of her to attempt to assist Yoko yet spurn the girl's words when she pointed out something Hebiru herself had overlooked. To ensure that her sister knew she did not take the advice as an insult the nurse thought back to the rest of their interaction in an attempt to find an in-joke of sorts in order to inject some light-hearted humor into the conversation. "Is that flavor not 'in on the alt scene'?"
Heading over to the medicine cabinet she'd looked at earlier -one that was conveniently no more than two steps away from the bed Yoko was sitting on- Hebiru picked a specific type of pain reliever that was both mild and lacked any pungent flavors. She paused partway through as she processed Yoko's next sentence. Her mind had been halfway through considering whether she had anything suitable before she fully registered their meaning.
Putting down the incorrect package she'd grabbed by accident she carefully picked up the one she'd been intending to prescribe. It almost slipped from her grasp before Hebiru succeeded in parting the appropriate amount of doses from the rest of the strip. For a moment she was stumped as to what form of reply would receive the best results. Before the silence could stretch for too long she decided to once more rely on humor. Taking a reflex hammer in hand she turned back towards Yoko with a genial smile.
"It is yet in the experimental stages but I do. This is an advanced piece of technology known as a Memory Erasure Apparatus. As it is still in the testing stages it has yet to hit the market. Please hold still," Hebiru requested while walking over to Yoko. She was uncertain about what to do once she reached her. Two steps provided awfully little time to plan ahead.
"Hmm I'm stuck on this part. I think I need some coffee. Yes, I'll make some coffee. Would you two like some coffee? Do either of you take yours with sugar and milk?" Shokuhou rambled while standing up abruptly and pointedly refraining from looking at either of them, staring instead at the coffee machine as if it held the secrets of the universe.

The Doctor is In"T-minus one minute."
"Copy that, Yuki Onna," Hebiru responded through her earpiece before letting go of the push-to-talk button, clearing her throat and raising her voice. "Everyone, take your places."
Adjusting her hood so it covered her entirely Hebiru took a seat against one of the support pillars and put on a pair of the fake restraining armbands provided to all of the hostages. All around the inside of the warehouse armed guards marked with a red armband scurried into action as if the building was an anthill that had just been kicked. Half a dozen settled into position near the support pillar where a group of sitting hostages were positioned. Eighteen others gathered into groups of three and took point at the corners of the lanes of shipping containers within the large warehouse. The final sixteen split into groups of two and each picked a direction to patrol. It wasn't nearly enough to properly cover the one hundred meter long and one hundred and fifty meter wide warehouse but with some luck it would give the main force some advance warning. In little over half a minute the entire scene was set.
Hebiru's earpiece crackled with static as it was linked into the channel set up for the incoming students so she could follow along.
"Lodestar, Mr. Inflatable, Paragon. Your shared call sign is henceforth Team C. Link up inside and head to the center of the warehouse. Heavy resistance is expected, proceed with caution. Yuki Onna out."
"It would appear Emilia Hall of Team A as well as Masao Ando and Michael Faraday of Team B are the first ones to get through the cordon. Are you familiar with any of the three, Surplus?" Hebiru calmly asked the volunteer student closest to her, making sure to keep her voice low so their chatter wouldn't be heard. It was awfully quiet at the moment, the tension hanging heavy in the air. She doubted it would remain this calm for much longer.
TL;DR: A group of hostages -amongst them Hebiru and Kei- have been captured and are placed under guard at a pillar near the center of the warehouse. Emilia has entered the warehouse from the front middle and the pair of Masao and Michael from one of the sides. The three are assigned the call sign Team C and advised to to link up and head for the center while avoiding the wandering patrols for as long as possible. A total of forty opponents are present within the warehouse.

The Doctor is In"Wonderful. I will have to keep an eye out for when it goes up," Hebiru responded while making sure she moved her lips and crinkled her eyes just right for her expression to form into a suitably warm and caring smile in response to Rose's slight embarrassment at the mention of her relationship. She made sure to offer Rui a smile and accompanying acknowledging nod back as well just before. It wouldn't do to prioritize short term joy over her long term goals after all. That way laid an eternity of remaining as hollow as she was now.
"Why thank you," she replied honestly while accepting the sheet of paper, making sure to adjust her expression into one that showed the surprise and gratitude she was sure someone in her situation should feel at the gesture. "I am sorry to hear that you have yet to be recruited. Rest assured that I doubt someone with your talent will remain unnoticed for long. While I cannot claim to have any connections in the musical scene one of my colleagues has a sister who does. If you would like it I could inquire with her or perhaps ask her to accompany me to one of your performances."
Rui's expression was truly interesting to behold. Her face was like an open book. Given that she could turn her skin into cloth-like bandages perhaps the saying 'wearing one's heart on their sleeve' applied to her visage as well. In an uncharacteristic lapse of control one corner of Hebiru's lips crinkled up slightly. It reminded her of her own little sister in a way.
"What a wonderful coincidence. The next part of my route takes me through the food court," Hebiru lied as naturally as she breathed. "Shall we all walk together until we reach it?" Without a feasible excuse she couldn't quite stick with them but when provided with one Hebiru had no intention on passing the opportunity up. Even so the speed with which she came up with the white lie and spoke it without further thinking things through spoke to her desperation. It was lucky no one nearby knew her well enough to pick up on the subtle tell.
She had high hopes for the rest of the day. Who knew? Perhaps she could even kill two birds with one stone.

The Doctor is In"It is not intentional I assure you. I have simply been rather busy as of late" Hebiru clarified in response to Yoko's no contact suggestion. "He cares about you, you know?" She added with certainty. The lengths he went to in order to stay in touch with Yoko and ensure she had a future were a stark difference from how she remembered the man in her own youth. Then again she only saw him on certain holidays. It was perfectly possible that she had the completely wrong image of him. Despite all her studies she never was the best at figuring out the people she interacted with most often.
"Let us hope not," she responded a bit too quickly. Fast enough that it surprised even her. Putting that thought aside to analyze for later she refocused on the conversation. "While I cannot dispute that life is not without an end there is no point in seeking it. Certainly, chasing solely longevity without finding enjoyment in life is pointless," she explained, very aware that she herself was on the other extreme of the spectrum and had little right to lecture her sister. Hebiru too had broken eye contact by this point in order to refocus on fixing what was wrong with Yoko. Disinfecting the injury so it would not worsen when left to fester she finished by hiding it from sight through applying a bandage over the cut.
"Do you require something to numb the pain to continue?" Hebiru asked while once more seeking eye contact, her eyes briefly flicking to the medicine cabinet where she stored painkillers. Meters away from them Shokuhou wondered whether she should be hearing any of this.

The Doctor is InShokuhou responded to Yoko's glare with a wink and a meaningful thumbs up immediately after she'd called out to Hebiru. Truly, no one understood the lengths the nurse's assistant went to for the good of others. Why, she could've gotten out of doing homework for at least ten minutes by treating Yoko herself instead of making sure Hebiru had no way around the interaction. She could only hope her sacrifice would be remembered. Pretending to push her glasses up Shokuhou hid a smile behind her hand and focused entirely on her homework, not at all eavesdropping on the sisters if anyone asked.
"No, you are free to make a stand." Hebiru answered her sister, trying to put as much humor into her voice as she could to lighten the mood. The statement came out rather monotone and deadpan. Placing the first aid kit down on Yoko's lap so its contents wouldn't get rained on she kneeled in front and slightly to the side of Yoko.
"Let me take a look. Hmm."
Ignoring the fact that part of her clothes were getting wet she inspected Yoko's hand while grabbing the needed implements from the kit. Tweezers, an antiseptic, a bottle of sterilized water -which she put back upon noticing that Yoko had already ran it under a tap- and several cotton balls. Getting to work she heard her sister out and replied when appropriate.
"There is no point in delaying. Shokuhou. Fetch my meat cleaver."
"Your wha- I mean, huh? Sorry, can you repeat that? I was doing my homework, I wasn't following."
"My apologies for disturbing you. Please disregard and continue."
Hebiru did not take the following long-suffering sigh personally, assuming it had to do with whichever problem was requiring so much of Shokuhou's focus.
"I see," she responded at the mention of their father. She had not, in fact, received a text. It was only to be expected. Of the two of them she was both busier, more independent and far less close to him. He tried of course but back when she'd been younger Hebiru had been far less experienced at hiding the changes her quirk wrought on both her psyche and her physique. He'd seen how it affected his oldest daughter first hand. In truth Hebiru suspected he had contacted her through Yoko purely as an excuse to stay in touch with the girl.
"I am afraid not. There are universal laws against smoking indoors outside of a few select places," Hebiru answered while pausing in her efforts. She continued gently holding onto Yoko's hands and looked her in the eyes. "Regardlessly, smoking is incredibly bad for your health. I would highly advise against it. It is long proven to shorten your lifespan and cause a variety of afflictions."

The Doctor is In
"Yanai-sensei~! Your sister's here!" Shokuhou called out, an act that was absolutely necessary for the school nurse to spot the new arrival from where she was sitting at her desk with a clear line of sight to the door. Truly. Hebiru cast a very deadpan look her way that only those closest to her would be able to recognize as disapproval mixed with a tinge of being unamused. Shokuhou beamed like that cat that got the milk in reply.
Hebiru imagined the first thing most older sisters would feel when their younger sibling came to them with an injury would be concern. She instead immediately began analyzing the wound the moment she could see it. A bruise and what appeared to be a cut as well. Easily treatable so long as they didn't tarry. It was a good thing Yoko had come here as quickly as she did. With practiced motions she unfolded a plastic bedsheet and gestured for Yoko to take a seat.
"Uh, well, I'll leave you two to it." Shokuhou awkwardly chimed in while seeming to try to tell Hebiru something with her eyes that the school nurse couldn't quite pick up on. She let out an exasperated sigh and offered Yoko an apologetic smile before continuing on her homework.

The Doctor is In"For the third time, please refrain from insulting one another," Hebiru said tonelessly. She had been expecting petulance to some extent but wasn't prepared for Gen's closing statement to be a mere swipe at Michael. Perhaps he felt more cornered than she'd been expecting. Even more surprising was that he seemed to actually be listening. Not just letting her words go in one ear and out the other. Listening. It was rare that people changed their opinions when confronted with the facts. Usually such things only came after the fact and even then only if they wanted to. There was far more truth to the saying 'change comes from within' than the hollow nurse would have liked. She had little doubt that Gen was far from changing his mind but nevertheless the results appeared promising. Despite all her studies she never ceased to be surprised by how different people could act from her expectations. Whether she'd judged his actions correctly this time remained to be seen.
"Concrete solutions," Hebiru responded to Michael with a small nod. While it was likely best to let matter rest for a while prior to attempting to fix Gen's PR the needed set-up had to be started as quickly as possible. Which in this case meant ensuring Gen understood the risks associated with his current status. Not to mention it could serve a dual purpose. She refrained from casting a glance at Michael, her professionality making it easy to stop herself from making mistakes that would give anything away. There were several methods she had in mind that could serve as learning experiences to both of them. Tapping her pen against paper she settled on one that she believed held the most potential.
"Next week a preliminary exercise will be hosted to prepare students for the provisional license exam," Hebiru explained while making eye contact with each of them in turn. "The two of you will be attending it. Together."

The Doctor is In"Nice to meet you, Rose," Hebiru genially replied in greeting. She refrained from saying anything more for a moment so as to not distract either Rose or the young Matsui from their interaction, preferring to observe instead to see what she could glean from it until Rose turned her way.
"A shame. I'm certain you will one day," Hebiru said cordially. "Do you perchance have a social media page or something along those lines to advertise your busking?"
She wouldn't be so rude as to insist on asking to be informed about where the singer performed but nevertheless not asking wouldn't produce any results either. Rose's follow-up question unbalanced her almost as much as the song did. Her daughter? How preposterous. Yet was it truly so from Rose's perspective?
Both she and the young Matsui had blonde hair styled into two long locks at the front, the sole difference between them being that her own were braided around each other and Rui's were loose and wavy. Their eyes too bore the same color. The similarities did not end there, for their resemblance was more than skin deep; Or perhaps one could say that skin deep was exactly the resemblance they had.
For much like Hebiru's form was a mere shell shaped like a human surrounding physiology that she had yet to make sense of, Rui appeared to be little more than skin over bones. At least if the conclusions made from analyzing footage of the villain were correct but Hebiru had little doubt that they mostly were. They were both hollow. As she looked at the younger girl smiling at her she wondered if perhaps that was the reason she did so much harm. Whereas she herself devoted herself to research to learn perhaps Mummy took to more practical means to decipher what made people tick. It did not justify her behavior. Nevertheless Hebiru understood. She didn't approve, but she understood.
"Old? You wound me," Hebiru replied with a mock frown. It was unfortunate that nemeses was the first word that came to Rui's mind but Rome wasn't built in a day. "Her words are not incorrect however. We have only met a few times, enough to be acquainted but certainly not related."
In truth this was only their second meeting but Hebiru doubted Rui would care to counter her words and perhaps the familiarity would be internalized. She could hope so. Moving up the timeline of at least one part of her medical research would be highly beneficial. Which made it so the girl's next question left her with quite the conundrum.
It was simple on the surface yet there was a non-negligible chance that her answer would heavily affect the future. Attempting to use this one-time opportunity where their differences as hero and villain mattered little to establish bonds for the purpose of creating a working relationship would be the most beneficial course of action in the long term. By all means it was the one she should be looking to pursue. Yet the singer's performance had made her feel more alive than she had in years and while Hebiru wasn't normally one to value the short term over the long term she was nevertheless hesitant to abandon the chance of hearing more.
The conundrum resolved itself moments later when she considered a single variable she'd forgotten to account for. Rui had called her old earlier and compared to both her and Rose there was some truth to that. Hebiru could hardly insert herself into their matters without it seeming off. Especially given that while there was no problem with interacting with villains today seeking to do so may cause her trouble in the future.
"I need to finish my patrols before I can take another break to enjoy the festival, unfortunately. Should either of you wish to join me I'd of course welcome the company. If not I'll leave you youngsters to your fun."

The Doctor is InHebiru almost sighed at Gen's theatrical denial. Him acting as if he were on trial made it clear he was not taking this seriously in the slightest. That would be the first thing she had to address before anything else would be possible. Well, that and making him admit his wrongs instead of attempting to take refuge in audacity or agitate her by acting proud of his misdeeds.
"Please refrain from insulting your fellow students." She offhandedly said while taking notes. Hearing Gen take a deep breath before continuing to talk she nodded without looking up from her papers. Allowing for both his and Michael's rants to finish she suppressed a sigh before cutting in when it was clearly getting out of hand. Several things had come up during the impassioned exchange that she'd be discussing with Sadako. A fair few remarks seemed like they had layers to them that would need to be dissected in full later.
"That is quite enough, both of you. Once more: let's not insult each other. Additionally please refrain from making too many assumptions about each other in the heat of the moment."
She made sure to look each of them straight in the eye -or where those would be- to ensure they understood before she continued.
"Let's address everything that was brought up one by one shall we?"
Picking up her stack of papers she tapped the bottom down on her folder several times to straighten out the papers before beginning.
"I cannot offer any information on other students beyond that which is publicly available. You are aware of this, Kurokami. Attempting to use this impossibility to make a point insults not only my intelligence but your own as well. We both know you're not so ignorant as to be unaware of this." Needless to say Gen was far from the only person to have their actions looked at recently. Neither of the students he mentioned were ignored. Junsuina Kanjo had received additional sessions with Counselor Sadako and Ylva Riis was up to her ears in community service for her own actions. "Regardlessly this is not about them. Whether or not you choose to pay additional attention to the endeavors outside of this meeting, so long as it is done in an appropriate manner, is up to you. We are here to discuss your future and find a solution to the aforementioned problems."
While it was certainly a hero's duty to address perceived injustice a victim mentality would not benefit Gen in the long run. The tip of her pen tapped against her papers. "There is no such thing as bad publicity," she vocalized as if tasting the statement the way a critic tasted a fine wine. "There is truth to that. As with everything however there is nuance to it as well. When it comes to fame and name recognition there is certainly no such thing as bad publicity. Trustworthiness and reliability however require a specific kind of reputation. In the field there is no time to form an accurate estimate of someone. Pre-existing biases are what the majority of people will go off. Should you continue your current method innocents will die because of it." After all, to follow the instructions of a hero was one thing but many might hesitate when those same instructions are given by someone they perceive as a hazard. As both a pro hero and a doctor she'd seen the results of a moment's hesitation far more often than she'd have liked.
The very fact that bad publicity existed however put him on the radar and given that it was a single act -or several separate ones, if you wanted to put it less charitably- during an event with safety precautions meant that it could easily be turned into more positive fame. Had it been done purposefully Hebiru might even have been impressed but as it was it did not sit right with her. That he might be able to reap greater rewards than those who acted righteously, even under stress, ran counter to UAU's goals. Especially if involving Michael risked putting the promising student in a more secondary position. Her pen halted for a moment before she continued writing. That had given her an idea.
"Your suggestion will be taken into consideration, Faraday."
Hebiru wasn't quite willing to confirm nor deny that Gen's record could be absolved. Even if she had the authority to clear it entirely -which she did not- she wasn't sure it'd be a good idea. Moreso she was opposed to Michael going unrewarded for his efforts. She'd have to find an acceptable compromise; And on a similar note.
"What motivations either of you may have for striving to become a hero are secondary to how you will use your position. There is a certain popular saying that says the road to hell is paved in good intentions and while not completely accurate there is a core of truth to it. Intentions matter less than results. We are not here to criticize anyone's reasons. Our goal is to ensure everyone that enters UAU can become a successful Pro Hero capable of standing the test of time."
She waited for a moment to let her words sink in.
"Is there anything either of you wish to say before we move on to more practical measures?"

The Doctor is InHebiru waited for both of them to finish speaking before addressing what they said. Nuance was likely to be the main thing here that she'd need to help them understand. Taking a sip of her coffee she ignored Gen's jibe, fully aware that it was made solely to rile her up. Unfortunately for him her quirk and experience make it so things like that don't quite work on her. With the tap of ceramic on hard plastic her mug was set down on the desk and she looked at each of them in turn before beginning.
"Like any motto Plus Ultra can be used to justify the completely wrong acts," Hebiru began. A great deal of villainous ones could be argued to fall under it too. Part of the goal here at UAU was to ingrain the right idea but it appeared they had some work left on that. "To give one's all and to go further beyond. It is how greatness is achieved, both good and bad. Differentiating what falls into which category can at times be difficult."
She didn't disagree fully with what they said but their youth and lack of experience was causing them to miss some of the nuance of the situation.
"It is important not to miss the forest for the trees. The purpose of the event was to see how the future protectors of Tokyo would react in a variety of unforeseen circumstances, deal with unpredictable variables and handle situations that were far from ideal. Unfortunately Kurokami's was rather telling."
In the aftermath of the tragedies striking Tokyo it was quite important to prepare prospective students in advance, not to mention alleviate the concerns of worried citizens by showing that their future was secure and hero society was far from finished. While Gen's actions certainly assisted in the former the latter is where matters grew troublesome. The unfortunate, contradictory mix of public opinion being both fickle and bad first impressions sticking far more than any attempts to correct them meant they had their work cut out for them.
"It has quite the chance of turning into a PR disaster. One that would affect -and is affecting- both UAU and Kurokami Gen personally. I believe I need not explain how such matters can complicate student life and more importantly future career potential as well."
Hebiru would be inquiring into which idiot gave a bomb-dropping zeppelin to a student. She'd like to have a talk with whoever decided that was a good idea. Right now however there were more important things to focus on.
"It's high time we addressed the facts and determine a course forward. I would like to stress the importance of making the most of this," she left what the alternative would be unspoken. "Faraday, your cooperation should you agree will of course result in extra credit." Not that he as one of the more promising first years had need of it but to leave good unrewarded was the same as making evil more appealing. "Naturally you possess the right to at any point prior to the conclusion of this matter to withdraw your cooperation. There is no shame in doing so," Hebiru made sure to emphasize. Involving another student in a matter such as this was rather unorthodox but desperate times called for desperate measures.
"We," with which she meant UAU, "have taken a hands-off approach for quite a while but it appears this is no longer viable."
They had been hoping Gen would manage to correct course by himself but there is only so much leeway they could give before the ignoring the problem any longer would become willful ignorance instead of extended goodwill. "Let us begin by addressing some of the more major misdeeds both inside and outside of this event before we move onto the meat of the matter." Taking another swig of her coffee she put the mug back down before leafing through her folder once more.
"Attempted bombing of fellow students. Attempts to dissuade fellow students from continuing their education and give up on their chosen future profession. A second attempted bombing of your fellow students," Hebiru said pointedly, her head still tilted down to read her documents while she raised her gaze to look at Gen, the pose making it look as if she were glaring over a pair of invisible glasses. She wasn't gonna mention the near death of Jack Orion that had given the faculty quite the scare. That could be turned around too easily given the exact circumstances and Hebiru wasn't interested in providing a single weak point in her entire list he could target to ignore everything else. "And all of that is purely what happened within the arena. Kurokami Gen, your PR is tanking to the point it will cause immediate problems unless you avert course both immediately and drastically."
The back of her fingers slapped against the papers she was holding several times.
"Attempted sabotage of a student-organised event. Several complaints from the Management Department in regards to their seminar. The gas cloud incident involving miss Kanjo. Rumours of several other incidents involving said student including and up to speculation of you targeting her roommate. The list goes on, Kurokami. What do you have to say for yourself?"

The Doctor is In"Thank you for joining us today, Kurokami, Faraday. Please, take a seat." Hebiru said while gesturing at the other two office chairs next to her wall desk. "Just a moment. Would either of you like anything to drinks?" She added while waving a hand towards the coffee machine and adjacent water cooler next to the cabinet. Finishing up the paperwork she was handling Hebiru handed it off to her assistant.
"Shokuhou, please flip the sign to 'busy' on your way out."
"Will do, Doctor Yanai." Shokuhou replied with a mock salute towards Hebiru and a rueful smile towards Michael and Gen, mouthing 'good luck' before leaving the room.
"Now then," Hebiru began while turning to face them. "Let's get started, shall we?"
Opening a locked cabinet drawer she pulled out a rather hefty folder and leafed through it.
"Kurokami Gen. I'm sure you already have a good idea of why you're here but perhaps you'd like to explain it yourself?"
Acknowledging one's own mistakes and misdeeds was the first step towards correcting them. If someone refused to accept that they'd done wrong no outside help could possibly get through to them. There was far too much truth to the saying that change had to come from within for Hebiru's liking but over the years she had gained plenty of experience in adapting to unfortunate truths. It was why she'd volunteered to handle this matter instead of leaving it to Counselor Gotoh. Judging by the data available a hard hand was much more likely to get the desired result or failing that, deal with the situation in an appropriate matter.
"As the most involved party in the latest... let's say incident, if you at any point wish to chime in please do not hesitate, Faraday. Any thoughts or comments are welcome."
Her explanation finished she continued offhandedly leafing through the folder while paying attention to the two students. Whatever they said would be crucial in determining how this situation was to be handled.

The Doctor is In Putting Rui's concerning inquiries aside for the moment Hebiru followed closely behind her as she approached Rhea. While asking for autographs seemed like a surprisingly normal act for someone known to be a notorious villain she knew better than to assume someone's worst acts were everything that was to them. Even the worst tyrants in history often had surprisingly normal personal lives.
Unfortunately for Hebiru the sheer normality made her subconsciously underestimate the horned devil and completely miss the secret note. With most of her intel on Mummy being second hand knowledge the psychological profile she'd built up carried a bias she'd yet to rectify through in-person interactions. Subtlety wasn't something she was prepared for when it came to the individual known as Rui Matsui, no, Hebiru was paying far more attention to her body language to intervene in case of sudden acts of violence instead.
"It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance," Hebiru replied along with a bow that was exactly as deep as the one Rhea had made. After making sure to send a grateful nod Rui's way for the 'introduction' she continued. "I am usually known as The Gorgon or Dr. Yanai, you may call me either. My... compatriot... and I," Hebiru said with an uncertain pause as if she were searching for the right word to use, making it clear they were not exactly well-acquainted, "greatly enjoyed your performance. I was wondering whether you perchance hold performances anywhere else?"
