It was a big cake, but with three people working on it who were on the hungry side, it went down quickly enough. It almost didn't feel like a competition, unless someone was secretly recording their time somewhere. Noa didn't let this bother her and proceeded as efficiently as she could.
When it was all over, their host would once again give each of them a token while offering more words of praise. It felt like the kind of words you would hear from a doting grandparent who still thinks their young adult grandchildren were still little kids. She neither liked nor disliked it, but coming from someone as suspicious as they were, it was hard to feel positive about it. The one thing she was glad to hear though was that this event was finally coming to an end.
The last step was to follow their host up to the waiting stage. It didn't seem like the other two were gonna make trouble this time and Noa was certain the promise of finally being allowed to leave was probably the best thing they've heard all day. Pocketing the last token, she stood up and followed shortly behind Aika Ao matching his walking pace. Surely there were no more surprises today right?
TLDR: Finished the cake. Received the token. Followed everyone to the stage.

It seemed her prayers were answered. After leading them to a new area with a table waiting and seats for each of them, their host suddenly produced one of the largest cakes she had seen in her life. It was technically only one cake however. This last event was going to be a team effort. A team effort? As far as Noa could see though, there was no other team close by. So who exactly were they competing with?
As she sat down, she heard a bit of the talking and honestly she couldn't care less. It's not that she was heartless, but there was a time and place for everything. Now, it was time to eat. For some unexplained reason, Noa was feeling especially hungry as soon as she sat down. As someone who was typically overly conscious of her body's condition, she immediately noted this phenomenon as extremely unnatural. Were her 'teammates' correct in suspecting that the food they were offered earlier was spiked something? She felt like she had the appetite of a horse.
"I'm not sure why but I'm suddenly feeling famished. Like I haven't eaten for days. I guess I take back what I said earlier. I suspect the food from earlier had effects to make someone hungrier than normal."
She wasn't going to waste this opportunity. While the other girl started from the top, Noa would work on the bottom. Just because she was hungry however didn't mean she forgot her manners. She would neatly partake in the cake once slice at a time with a knife and fork. Their host didn't specify a time limit. They just had to finish the cake in any way possible. And if she was going to be given bottomless hunger to assist with that challenge, then she would gladly make use of it. She would eat until there was nothing left to eat at a moderate steady pace.
TLDR: Noa notices she feels hungrier than usual and shares that information. She then starts to eat the cake from the bottom and will keep eating for as long as the hunger effect persists.

To a certain extent Noa had predicted the kind of response that she would get with her interference. She was expecting something along the lines of how she wouldn't understand or maybe yet another stubborn appeal at making her actions out to be 'wrong' in this scenario. These types were always like this. Imagine her surprise when some semblance of rationality finally came out of his mouth. It was hard to sympathize with whatever trauma he was going through but the suggestion that the Quirk he was stuck with was the cause for his bad behavior and request to remove it finally made it seem like the guy was starting to use his head. Maybe the extra threats helped too. Either way she was glad that they might just be able to get through this peacefully now.
When Noa heard that the next event was an eating contest, she almost felt a little cheated when just moments ago they were offered to eat as much food as they wanted. Who offers people food to eat right before an eating contest??? And she was the only one who even ate too considering the other two were skeptical of the things offered. As she was thinking about this, the other stranger finally talked to her a bit, after spending basically their entire time here bickering with the little guy.
"I wish I knew. Don't you think it's unfair that they just offered us food to eat right before revealing the next competition is about eating? I'm probably gonna lose."
In truth, whether or not she ate food earlier, she was probably not going to win either way. As someone who judiciously watched her diet, scarfing down large amounts food was never really her forte. But maybe there would be a twist to help even the playing field a bit.
"I personally hope it's not that straightforward."
TLDR: Noa is glad that Jack is finally talking some sense. She talks about not being too excited for the eating competition.

What she wouldn't give to have been grouped with cooler heads for this challenge was the prevailing thought in her head as they were led to a food court area. Apparently this was part of the rewards for accomplishing the task earlier. Naturally, the uncooperative one was being excluded from partaking. Now Noa wasn't exactly hungry and she understood why the other lady was skeptical about what was being offered. But she had other ideas going on at the moment and this an opportunity to test one of her theories.
"I appreciate the warning but I could use a bit of an energy recharge after everything we've done so far. This quirk I got stuck with isn't exactly easy on the stamina."
That was a lie. She had quite a bit left in the tank but she needed a believable reason to do what she wanted to do next. She would reach for a hotdog from one of the stands selling them and take a huge bite. There wasn't any immediate effect as far as she could tell. Nothing unusual about the taste either aside from being pretty delicious and obviously good quality hotdog. It was just as you would expect from a place calling itself a dream land.
Unfortunately, she wouldn't have time to peacefully 'enjoy' her little snack as hot heads once again prevailed in the little exchange between the angry kid and their mystery host. This time however, they were resorting to a more direct means of defiance. Not on Noa's watch. Just as Jack would make his advance towards Aka Ao, the girl would respond by shooting perhaps the biggest blast of fire she had ever done today. The roaring flame would be impossible to ignore and cut right between Aka Ao and his attacker forming a huge fire wall several feet tall and wide. If that was enough to stop him, Noa would then proceed to address Jack once more.
"I didn't want to have to do this, but you don't seem to be capable of thinking things through and keeping your cool. Stand down, little man."
TLDR: Noa follows everyone to the food court. Thanks Retsu for the warning but eats something anyway to test a theory. Sees Jack about to attack Aka Ao so she intervenes by creating a giant fire wall between the two of them. Sternly warns Jack to behave.

When Noa heard the instructions for this last task they performed and the 'objective' to impress allegedly people from their past, she figured there were a few things she could check using it. The first was whether or not the mastermind was genuinely able to peer deep into their psyche to arrange the so-called judging crowd. Because if that was the case, then there was no point in plotting against the villain since they could practically read their minds. The result? The resounding cheers and positive messages all but convinced the girl that whatever their host could 'see' was surface level. If the host could truly read their feelings and memories, then Noa was positive that the judgment she would have gotten for her performance would have been an entirely different reception. Naturally she kept these thoughts to herself and gratefully accepted the token and 'praise' for her supposed job well done. For her, the real prize was the new knowledge on what they were up against. Noa was in the middle of pondering her next course of action when the third member of their little party went on an angry outburst. Well, this wasn't exactly new. The two other strangers had been mad and noisy from the start so she was just going to tune them out again since they didn't seem to be helpful or cooperative. Imagine her surprise when, despite minding her own business, the little boy actually thought to address her directly. It was something about being disappointed... to which Noa couldn't help but make a certain face unconsciously. What was this idiot talking about? Noa didn't particularly care about anyone who had a death wish, but since it seemed like they were going to continue being annoying, she might as well say her piece now and get it over with. "Oh, you think this is kowtowing? I see. Thank you for your opinion. But I disagree."
"If you are open to getting my opinion, I suggest participating in earnest. I'm sure you value your pride more than your life. But if you are a hero student like you claim you are, surely you don't value your pride more than the lives of others?"She would not elaborate further. If the simpleton couldn't figure out on his own why he was potentially endangering innocents with his actions, then he was a lost cause. Noa would proceed to walk over to the side to continue thinking about the new info she got from this task. She wasn't really in the mood for babysitting at this time. TLDR: Noa gets suspicious about the results of the performance but keeps her thoughts to herself. Briefly responds to Jack with her disagreement on his views before walking away without waiting for his reply. She can't be bothered.

Performing arts were not exactly Noa's forte. Her singing and dancing skills were pretty average. She had a bit of artistic flare when it came to manipulating her quirk as she considered it part of her training in control. But with her quirk being swapped into a different one, she probably wasn't going to be able to make a performance with it that would satisfy her in the time that they had. In that case she could only lean on her physical ability. As for what her partner for this section could offer in turn, all she could do was ask. The host did say they could talk right?
"I'm going to be honest with you. Performances aren't my strong point. Do you have any talents worth showcasing? I'm thinking that I'm just going to have to complement you."
"That's a shame. I'm sure you have what it takes to be a star, but if you insist on basing the performance on me, it can't be helped. I'm fairly confident in finding my way around an obstacle course. How is your riding skill?"
Noa was pleasantly surprised that the partner she ended up choosing was understanding and cooperative. With her current quirk, setting up obstacles for a short course should be more than doable. As for her riding ability, well she wouldn't have chosen a pony if she didn't know how to ride one. She wasn't an expert by any means but she was pretty sure she could stay on a horse without any trouble at all.
"I want to say it's passable but perhaps I can give myself more credit in that you probably wouldn't be able to buck me off your saddle without falling over yourself. In which case we both lose. I can also make a course for us with my quirk."
The pony laughed. "Sounds promising. Alright lets go with a course then. Also, I'll hold you to that claim!"
The two continued with their discussion, plotting how the run would go. Noa would clarify things such as how high and how far her pony partner could jump. They would also experiment with a few tricks such as Noa attempting to stand on the pony's back while it was moving. Her best time with that was thirty seconds. Soon it would be their turn to put on a performance.
The area they had to work with was pretty small. It was pretty much the size of a dog show course, but there was not much they could do about that. With her quirk, Noa set up multiple rings of fire around the area. There were also a few ramps leading up to long stretches of flames meant to be jumped over. It wasn't a difficult course at all so they couldn't go for an exciting angle for the performance. Instead they would focus on elegance: a perfect execution with poise and grace. They wouldn't be the flashiest show but they would be the smoothest and prettiest.
And then they would begin. The first part of the track was consecutive flaming rings. They were spaced uniformly so when the horse and rider jumped through, they did so at a steady beat and rhythm. You would think that Noa had been doing this for years, but really it was the pony doing the heavy lifting here. She was just making good on her promise to stay on their back confidently. The next part was the first ramp over a 5 meter 'sea' of flames. The pony began to speed up to get a running boost and the pair was able to clear the distance with room to spare. Noa was starting to feel good about their show.
The next part was just a stretch of flat ground. As for why that was so, it was because it was time for Noa's contribution. The pony didn't stop moving but slowed down a bit to allow the rider to stand on its back. The impromptu balancing act was then followed by Noa generating fireballs from her hands and proceeding to 'juggle' them while standing on the horse's saddle. She maintained this act for about twenty seconds and then threw the fireballs forward to light up a new set of rings that was coming up on their track. As she sat back down, the pony sped up again, leaping through the flaming rings consecutively at a pace faster than earlier.
Finally the last ramp was upon them. This time what awaited beyond it was a seven meter 'sea' of flames. It was a staggering distance, especially for an animal that wasn't quite a full sized horse. But the pair was going to employ a bit of a trick to get over it. Speeding up once again, the pony leapt as high as they could. Meanwhile Noa would give the both of them a bit of a boost with a stream of flames shot from her back. This would be the roughest part of their performance as there wasn't really much time to practice. But the most important thing was that they made it to the other side and the end of their course.
Slowing down to a light gallop, Noa and her partner would turn and walk towards the stands for the final judging. It was a very surreal experience though. Why? Because the crowd of faces staring at Noa to judge her were all her own face. After all, she was the one person who was most judgmental of herself.
TLDR: Noa would go with an obstacle course run for her performance with her pony partner with a few fire tricks. At the end of their performance, she would be judged by a crowd of Noa's.

Instead of a more public announcement, Noa experienced the weird sensation of their host speaking directly into her head. Honestly it was not the kind of message she was expecting to hear, and upon seeing the reactions of the other two, they probably didn't hear something favorable. This whole thing was far too suspicious for her to trust kind and hopeful messages from their mystery host. But at least all she got out of it was mild confusion. The other two were taking their messages pretty badly as far as she could tell. She took note of the message and the token as they moved on.
After successfully clearing the first area, they were now at a location with a lot of animals. Aika Ao thought it would be funny to speak to them through a goat. Just like the first course, what they were meant to do here was again vague. Pick an animal? Were they going to protect it or transport it? In that case it would be smart to choose something small. Was it going to assist them with a challenging task? In that case the play would be to pick something physically capable. With not much info to go on, the wrong choice could potentially screw them over.
While Noa was momentarily lost in thought, the other two made their selections. A goose and, two animals with Quirks? She couldn't think of a better word to describe them cause at first glance they didn't look normal at all. They certainly didn't appear to be farm animals either so she was wondering how their host would take this creative interpretation of the rules. As for the goose, all she could think was 'why' exactly? But anyway she had to make her own decision. In the end she felt she ought to go with the latter idea she had. If the next challenge needed an animal then she wanted a strong and reliable partner.
"I'd like the Shetland pony if you don't mind"
She would say, addressing the talking goat. It was small and cute, but deceptively strong for its size. And if it was from the petting zoo area of the park then it was definitely trained. It was either the pony or one of the dogs, but she had this urge to pick something she could ride. Fingers crossed that she chose correctly.
TLDR: Noa was surprised by the message but isn't fully trusting it at the moment. She is equally surprised by the animal choices of the other two and at this point has given up on using them as references. Her pick for this round is a pony.

One thing's for sure, neither of the two strangers she ended up on this trip with were keen on any sort of teamwork. In fact they both would rather compete with everyone else. That suited Noa just fine. Well, except for the competition part, she wasn't planning to initiate any suggestion of cooperation herself if it wasn't necessary. So far their host did not require or even push them into doing so.
There were three paths ahead. Each one had a varied amount of obstacles as well as what appeared to be coins. It reminded her of a certain video game. She figured it was safe to assume they had to collect coins along the way to their destination. The two picked different paths so Noa decided she would settle for the third one. The rules were still too vague to accurately say which path was the best anyway. Also it seemed like the low path had the most obstacles to deal with which for her was a plus. If she was gonna get used to her new quirk, it would take more than the bit of practice she had earlier.
From watching the other two, she learned that using quirks did not damage or pop the bubbles. That was good. If she could attack or veer away from the obstacles with her quirk, this game would be a lot more challenging. Her approach to clearing the course was very cautious and strategic. She would prioritize grabbing coins as she made her way. When a bird or two approached, she would shoot them down with fireballs. It took a few shots at first but eventually she was able to reach a level of accuracy she was satisfied with. Whenever her bubble ventured close to any spikes, she would release a stream of fire like a jet and change her direction to avoid touching them. As for the heads that shot fireballs, well she intercepted them with her own fireballs. As a result she probably had the flashiest and most 'explosive' journey through this course compared to the other two. She also appreciated the presence of the wind tunnels. Whenever it looked like she was lagging behind in the race, there would be a convenient tunnel she could use to just zip on ahead at high speed.
In the end, Noa found that she was actually enjoying the challenge a bit. She reached the finish line without really knowing who of them made it there first. Maybe their ever present announcer would make the call. If she had any regrets, she felt that the path she took didn't really have much coins. She probably should have took that into account before choosing.
TLDR: Noa goes for the low path. She uses the entire course as quirk practice, dealing with the obstacles as they come with her flame quirk while prioritizing grabbing every coin she can. She waits for Aika Ao to announce the winner of this round.

Noa entered her own bubble without questioning it too much. She figured the mastermind of the event had some sort of goal in doing all this and the less they deviated from the plan, the more they could assure their own safeties. Since she lacked information herself, she could exactly advise the other two on a proper course of action so she refrained from speaking much at this time and decided to focus on herself. She still didn't understand why she suddenly had a different quirk but rather than be nervous about it, she actually found the experience very interesting.
While she was entertaining her thoughts, the bubble began to rise to a height where they could get a better view of the area around them. It seemed the festival venue that was previously in the middle of the city was now an island in the middle of the sea. She tried to analyze the situation for a bit. As far as she could tell there were no gaps in her memory nor did it feel like she woke up from being unconscious, so being transported into an entirely new location seemed low in terms of probable explanations. In that case, what exactly was this foreign scenery she was seeing? An illusion? A dream? Considering this place was called Dream World, that was pretty on the nose. If it really was a dream, how much of it could they bend to their whims? And what sort of rules were in place?
Well, she wasn't getting anywhere just thinking about it. The bubble seemed to be slowly moving by itself to a predetermined location. She wondered if she could change it. She would attempt to physically push the bubble's boundaries from inside in different directions to see if she could steer bubble this way. Unlike the other stranger, Noa was not too keen on applying her new flaming quirk on something that common sense would dictate was 'fragile' especially at the height they were at. At least not until it became necessary. If pushing worked, she would keep practicing doing so since she had a feeling the trip wasn't going to be so easy.
TLDR: Noa would step into the bubble and try to push it around from inside in an attempt to steer it to her desired direction. If it works, she will continue practicing moving the bubble around.

Today was a day when Noa had a rare break. While she wasn't usually partial to things like sightseeing, there was a peculiar event happening in town called the Dream World Festival that was all the buzz recently. So much so that she felt she had to see it for herself at least once, and only once. As luck would have it, the one day she had to visit was also the day that some unknown mysterious incident would occur.
She hated it. She knew she would. Amusement parks meant crowds, and this one was no different. She could understand why some people would enjoy this sort of thing but it was not for her. After staying for a period of time that she felt was fair for the price of the ticket, she decided it was about time to head home and actually enjoy her rare break. Or not. A strange mist suddenly crept in out of nowhere, obscuring the view. It was all so fast that the water manipulator didn't have the chance to make it go away with her quirk.
When the mist finally dispersed on her own, the crowd that had been bothering Noa all this time was nowhere to be seen. If not for the two other strangers being awfully mean to each other, she might have thought she was all alone. She listened attentively to the announcement and understood that they had all been unwillingly taken on a ride by the enigmatic park owner. At least it didn't sound like the option to just go home was on the table. The pair she was stuck with came to the same conclusion.
The change in the environment and the strange announcement wasn't the only thing bugging Noa however. She was feeling unusually warm. It wasn't a fever. It was a comfortable warmth, that immediately struck her as weird because she was a cold weather type of person. Overhearing the two still bickering, the little one said something about other lady getting a new quirk. Was that really possible?
She aimed her hand at a nearby puddle and focused. Instead of the water splashing up like she intended, a stream of flames shot out from her arm, boiling the tiny pool in seconds. She repeated the gesture at least a couple more times, recalling the feeling of using her quirk and attaching it to this newfound discovery. It took a few seconds for her to realize that her random actions might have startled her companions.
"Oh I'm sorry. This is all new to me and I couldn't resist trying it out first."
There was nothing that remained from the puddle besides scorched earth at this point. She might have gone a tiny bit overboard. Chuckling to herself, she stepped forward and followed them to the bubbles.
TLDR: Noa enjoys using her new quirk a little too much. Then joins the two in boarding the bubbles.

Among the items she got to use today, the claptraps proved to be the most reliable oddly enough despite her first usage not getting the best results. Her luck with this particular item would continue as she successfully trapped the villain once more. Unfortunately, Noa trapped one of her teammates with him. She was trying her best not to rely on anyone but it seems like she was getting in their way instead. No, they were getting in her way. She was definitely not in the wrong here. While the villain and the other girl were beating each other up inside the barrier, Noa turned her attention on the robot that was heading their way after losing some of its other legs.
She considered her options. The stealth suit wasn't any help at all here. The barriers don't look like they were strong enough to stop the machine either. It was time to try the bubble gum again. It was a bit dangerous but Noa would get close to the robot while blowing several bubbles. Her plan was to get the bubble stuck on the joints of the robot and hopefully stop it from moving. If the bubbles 'fail' and pop early, it was even better since it would be more sticky.
TLDR: Noa tries to blow bubbles to stick to the robot's joints and try to stop it from moving.

As always Noa wasn't expecting the gadget to be working without issues when she activated it, but she didn't think they would be deliberately dangerous. The suit started to overheat, to the point that she was tempted to take it off right then and there, cause it was literally on fire. But this was a bodysuit and stripping down to her underwear on a stage watched by god knows how many people was a mental scar she was not looking forward to bearing so she decided to tough it out. She would employ the good old stop, drop and roll to put out the fire and otherwise just endured the heat from the malfunctioning gadget.
At this point, Noa deemed that the so called invisibility suit was useless. She wondered why it was even ranked the best among the equipment she was given. Looking up she saw that everyone was working together to target the robot's legs to bring it down so she decided to help out in that endeavor. The rock star villain was back again and making things extra difficult so she figured she would aim for him again to support the team. She didn't forget that the main goal was actually to stop the villain so the robot was just a huge distraction.
Seeing as it was effective before, she would bring out the clap traps again. While everyone was distracting the robot, she would once more try to get behind it and then throw five clap traps at the villain above.
TLDR: Noa would put out the fire on her suit by rolling on the floor. After getting up she will attempt to get behind the robot again and throw 5 clap traps at the villain from his blind spot.

It was a bit of good luck and bad luck. On one hand, she successfully trapped the villain and stopped herself from falling to the ground from a height that would have been somewhat painful. On the other hand, it looks like one of the other girls was trying to help Noa and she didn't realize it. The result was that they were trapped in the bubble that Noa made to save herself.
"Sorry about that! Wait let me try to get you out."
That was easier said than done. The bubblegum didn't actually come with instructions on how to pop them safely if she wanted to release someone from it. Unfortunately while they made it safely back down, there was yet another new development on the floor. Some kind of robot had been deployed amidst the confusion and was threatening to stomp them. Perhaps staying inside the bubble was safer in this situation? Before she could speak again however, a javelin suddenly flew past her aiming to pop the bubble. That was great. That was one thing less that Noa had to worry about.
It was starting to get pretty chaotic but it was clear that the new robot was something they needed to stop too. Noa figured it was a good time to try the last item in her possession. She pressed the button to activate the camouflage suit. If it worked as intended, she would use it to sneak around behind the robot to try and look for a possible weakness. If the suit failed, well she would have to practice her dodging skills and avoid getting stepped on. At this time she didn't figure out yet that the disco ball robot was moving according to the music.
TLDR: Apologize for trapping Momo in the bubble. Tries to think of how to break her out, but in the end didn't need to thanks to the javelin being thrown. Tries activating MirageVeil. If it works, she will attempt to sneak behind the robot to look for a weak spot.

Considering the 'failure rate' of Clap Traps earlier, Noa didn't exactly have high hopes for the bubble gum that, according to the manual, was even lower tiered. In fact each step she took as she made her way up on the bubbles made, she was half expecting that she would meet an untimely fall. Surprisingly, the fall didn't come. At least not until she was just a step away from the villain. Fate was playing a cruel trick on her there but she had a second or two to react. Since the villain seemed more interested in taunting her than actually striking back, she saw this as an invitation to attack him first.
"How about a gift before I go?"
Just as the bubble beneath her feet burst, she immediately took out 5 Clap Traps and threw them at the villain who was fairly close at this point. She figured that would do something to disrupt whatever he was doing. Then as she was falling, she would attempt to blow another below her to catch herself before she hit the ground. At this time Noa was still unaware that one of the other girls was trying to help her. Hopefully the new bubble won't blow up in their faces.
TLDR: Noa throws 5 Clap Traps at once at the villain as the bubble she stepped on pops. She blows a new bubble while falling not realizing Momo was attempting to catch her until after she blew it.

Noa was glad that she checked out how the items worked herself without blindly relying on the descriptions they were given. It seemed at least half the time the items don't work as intended. Well they were still good enough to momentarily stun targets, but now she wasn't gonna factor the force field trap in her plans cause it didn't seem reliable. True enough among those who weren't trapped, one of them tried to grab her feet. She jumped up to avoid getting grabbed and moved ahead forward.
Unfortunately they can't just avoid the people forever. One of the girls she was teamed up with for this exercise shouted that they were going to make a pitfall. Noa quickly took the gum out from her menu and started chewing. From the item's description, she should be able to make floating platforms out of the bubbles and now was a good time to try it out. She blew five bubbles to start with in a stair-like formation to avoid where the pitfall might be made while at the same time staying out of the reach of the controlled civilians. If the bubbles worked as intended, she would jump on top of one and hop to the next, gradually making her way to the villain. If any civilian minions try to follow her on the bubbles, she would throw a Clap Trap at them.
TLDR: Noa jumps over the civilian trying to grab her. She hears about a pitfall being made and decides to create bubble platforms to get over it and over the civilians. She starts with 5 of them. If any civilians try to follow her, she will throw a Clap Trap to stop them.
