"As I fall from the ceiling~" Church roused as he heard a car approach, opening his eyes and blinking for a moment before lifting his head and smirking at Rui as she ran up. "Sssup~" He slurred a little and chuckled at himself before taking a deep breath to clear his head a little, focusing better on Rui as she unloaded a torrent of questions. "I was having a lil' fun, but it's a waste to let him die. I didn't mean to break it..." He tried to give a good enough answer but his head felt full of fluff and his voice soon trailed off. He hadn't lost this much blood in quite awhile, and although he rather enjoyed the floating feeling it gave him, it made thinking a bitch to do. Once he was healed his head cleared slightly, but his world still tilted as he pushed himself up and swayed on his feet. "You have my vote always~" As he spoke his gaze swung from Rui to the fallen Hero, wondering if the mumbles he could hear were just his blood loss or the Hero speaking in his helmet. Considering the state Church was in, he knew the Hero wasn't at risk of springing up anytime soon, healed or not. Though that also left him at an impasse. He had nowhere to stash a Hero, but he also knew leaving him out in the open like that in the alley wasn't a good idea either if he wanted him to survive to play again. As he looked around at their surroundings his eyes stopped at a nearby dumpster, a loopy shit-eating grin lighting his face as he had an idea. He bent low over Yusuke and hooked his shoulder under the other man, pulling Yusuke partially onto his back before half carrying, half dragging him over to the dumpster and managing to gently lower him in. Thankfully the Hero was almost disturbingly light, the most difficult part being the damn wings, but somehow Church got him in without any further injury before leaning heavily on the edge of the bin to catch his breath and not topple over. As he recovered he started to turn away before suddenly pausing and looking back into the dumpster. With a devious smirk he leaned in and riffled around for a moment, pranking the Hero and leaving one of his cards stuffed in the man's jacket before pulling out Yusuke's pants and closing the lid. He'd be fine hidden in there till he woke up, and what a fun fly home he'd have~ Church spun on his heel away from the bin out of habit before stumbling as his world tipped wildly around him. He managed to recover his balance a moment before falling however, instead casually grinning at Rui. So what if I'm fucking crazy~ Church raised an eyebrow in surprise as Yusuke suddenly dropped, pausing to stare down at him as if not expecting to win and rather caught off-guard by it. He had been having fun, and was suddenly worried he had ruined a really good target to keep him amused. Shit He moved stiffly over to the other man and half-fell, half-sat on the ground beside him, prodding Yusuke's uninjured shoulder for a moment before frowning. Thinking quickly, he raised his hand and sliced his palm with the knife, crimson blood pouring from his hand for a moment before it became a clear liquid. Then he cut off a piece of his shirt and held it over the other man's wound with his injured hand, the alcohol flowing from his hand soaking the fabric of his shirt and staunching the flow of blood a little. Good thing he can't feel that. Church smirked before dropping the knife and pulling out his burner phone with his free hand to shoot a text to the Lil'Devil, promising her a favor for some heals asap. Shifting into a better position with his injured leg sticking out to the side, Church kept pressure on the Hero's injury and prepared to wait, keeping an ear out to not totally be off guard but also slowly feeling dizzy himself. Well, this was an interesting outcome. He will never let you out of sight~ Church grinned as the knife struck home, giggling rather madly as he swung for a moment in the air as Yusuke's one arm dropped away under his shoulders. Had he been sane, he might have been terrified, but instead he was having the time of his life as they dove down towards the ground. That said, when Yusuke spun bellow him there was a momentary genuine look of surprise on Church's face a moment before he bounced off the man and rolled across the ground with a muffled yelp before stopping on his stomach a little ways away. He pushed himself to his elbows and winced. His knife was no longer in his hand, and his leg felt tingly. That was ominous. However he was distracted as Yusuke spoke, his gaze flicking up to the Hero and an eyebrow raising at his words. "Oh~?" Church smirked, his distressed jumper act all but dropped. "Glad I could help, I'm sure you're pretty cute under all the poof~" He mused, casually watching from his position on his stomach as the Bat Hero got to his feet. With a grunt he followed suit and pushed himself up to his feet as well, shifting his weight to his right and reaching down to pull out the knife embedded in his left thigh with a quick jerk that was a little too casual. He winced as it came free, but otherwise seemed to ignore the blood trickling steadily down his leg. "Let me know if you ever want a love bite without the blade~" He teased the other man with a smile despite their current situation, flicking the red knife in the air and smirking before adding, "I'm not the one that needs help, Bat-toy."

I wouldn't hide~ Laying on the ground,
I should've died~ Church hung in the man's arms unfazed but was surprised, and very amused, the Hero that otherwise had seemed a little naive actually remembered the knife. Though as it happened so often, Church found he wasn't close to a match for the guy in terms of strength, barely managing to hold onto the knife by keeping it at an odd angle and taking advantage of the flexibility of his wrist. Still, he was very aware that Yusuke seemed almost equally flexible and he was holding on by a thread from loosing the casual fight over the weapon. He needed to improvise if he didn't want to loose his only weapon. Well, it wasn't his only weapon, but he didn't feel the need for his quirk. Not yet, anyway. He knew they still had a few moments before reaching the ward, and he wasn't nearly out of tricks to mess with the man currently carrying him. "My hero~" Without warning Church's tone took a playfully swooning tone and he shifted up to kiss Yusuke's neck suggestively with a smirk, twisting the knife sharply less than a second later to slip it free before swinging it at the other man's shoulder with no hesitation. The interaction between her and Rui was hilarious to him and already he quite liked the little spicy princess. He lifted another shot and swirled it in the glass before looking to Megumi and flashing her a warm smile. "Far from it, you and the princess have only made this night even more interesting~" He assured her with a wave of his hand before he turned his attention back to the shot and it quickly followed the rest. He watched Elias from the corner of his eye curiously as he winked at Rui in response to her assuring him she had known the new woman's name. The memory of my sins~ There's more to life than this. The slightest smirk twitched at the corner of Church's mouth as he heard those words, a tiny crack in his act caused by his own amusement. To Church, there was no more to life than this, but not in the way it might be perceived by others. Doing whatever amused him, and playing at outfoxing his own demise in the process, there was nothing he enjoyed more than exactly this. His gaze dropped down to the street bellow with a blank look, his shoulders drooping as he lowered the knife and let it hang limply at his side. "Legalities won't help me, but I appreciate the thought." He lifted his gaze and gave Yusuke an obviously-forced smile before yanking the office-worker backwards away from the edge and using the man's momentum to swing himself forward onto the low wall the man had been sitting on a moment before. As Church let go of his collar, the man landed with a grunt on the rooftop turf, safe. Meanwhile, with his back to the lip of the ledge Church closed his eyes and let the weight shift of letting go of the man's collar tip him over the edge. Without so much as a gasp of surprise he dropped off the building, letting his arms swing wide in a relaxed way, as if he were simply jumping backwards onto a bed rather than free-falling towards the sidewalk. He sent the second spent shot-glass spinning to rest with the first before following her eyes, his own gaze flitting up the man's figure before a friendly smile lit his face. "Silver, Silver Viper." Church responded smoothly, having to stifle an intrusive thought as he took Elias's hand and felt a surge of temptation, but instead of acting on it he simply shook it as normal before leaning back in his chair completely at ease. As someone that used them quite often, he could respect the bat theme and the guy's apparent sense of flair, though the Hero's ability to fly did effect his plans quite a bit. But, that was just part of the fun, wasn't it? A relaxed grin lit Church's face as he looked at Yusuke, his expression still oddly lacking menace despite the situation at hand. "Well, Mister Bat," Church leaned forward casually, the office-worker letting out a distressed sound as the guy tilted slightly closer to falling as he did so. "My wife cheated on me with my boss and then took the kids and moved in with him, so I decided to come up here for a good ol' jump." He answered smoothly, glancing down to the sidewalk with a smile as if it were something inviting before looking back up to Yusuke and tightening his grip on the office lackey's collar. "But when I got here, the spot was already taken." He continued, glancing to the office worker as he spoke, who grew paler under his gaze as if struggling not to just pass out from fear. "But... he seemed to be conflicted, so I thought I'd help him out a bit." Church continued nonchalantly as it became apparent his hostage was unable to form a response at the moment. However as he spoke, he slipped his free hand into view and brought it up the office-worker's side, the glint of a blade suddenly visible pressing against the side of the man's breast. It was a mere switch-blade admittedly, but while pressed against the spot where the other man's heart was not protected by bone, even it could kill in mere seconds. They go and put us in the ground~ A figure sat on the edge of the apartment building's roof, his legs hanging over the ledge carelessly as if he were taunting gravity. It wasn't the highest building in Tokyo by any means. Still, the ground seemed pretty far away when you were looking down from four-stories up, and it was high enough that a fall could easily kill. The man seemed unconcerned however, going as far as leaning out further over the empty air. Then, a sharp strike hit his shoulder, pushing him foreword without warning. The man's eyes snapped wide as he felt himself lose his center of gravity and pitch forward. He was going to fall! He had played with the idea because his job absolutely sucked, but he didn't really want to fall! With a scream the office-worker saw his entire life flash before his eyes. Then... his fall was halted, however in the same moment he also felt a knee press against his back, stopping him from leaning back toward safety. Someone was holding the back of his shirt in a death-grip, anchoring him in position that was so close to falling that the man feared moving so much as a muscle. "Funny how people act like they want to die, but then make sounds like that when it comes down to it~" A silky-smooth voice mused from behind him. "Also I wouldn't move if I were you. Upset the balance and I'm not strong enough to catch you, so..." Church smirked as he leaned forward and looked down, twisting his fist in the man's shirt to keep him from slipping. Far bellow, a few people were pointing up at them and yelling, but it was too far for Church to make out what they were wasting their breath trying to say. "What do you want with me..?" The man's question brought Church's attention back to him, but only briefly. He had little interest in a boring office-worker. "Well, I don't know the local do-gooders around these parts, so I wanted to fix that." Church's smile and tone were oddly gentle and calm as he spoke, making him rather off-putting to the other man considering the situation and not-so-hidden threat. "That's where you come in, congrats! I figure someone has to have called this in, so one will show up eventually. Sit tight."

Earlier Rui had mentioned a place that sounded like a den of beasts, and yet Club Nirvana hung over their heads as they entered the club. It gave him the impression that this night would prove more entertaining, and fruitful, than he had hoped as he followed her to the table and slid onto a chair. His only regret was his attire, having simply tossed on something comfy on his way out the door that morning, it wasn't exactly what he would call club-worthy. The leggings were one thing, but who wore a hoodie to the club? Next time, he decided, he would dress appropriately. Still, he made the best of it and grinned as he spotted the shots of spicy tea Rui carried over from the bar. Tonight was indeed a night to celebrate, for it marked the beginning of Debauchery Tea Party and it's very first member. The possibilities for mayhem and fun with his new lil' devil friend were endless, and he was delighted she agreed to join his still-forming group. Now they just needed a few more lost souls to really cause a stir~ "Well, if your Magic bestie wants some shots he better hurry." Church looked Rui over for a brief moment before a giggle escaped him as an image of the spicy little thing in a doctor outfit flashed through his mind, nearly making him tip over the edge in the process. "A little nail polish on those beauties and some hair dye... I'm sure they wouldn't recognize you then~" He chimed, wondering silently if the dye would hold in her hair or not due to her quirk, but for now he wasn't too concerned about it, pushing it to the back of his mind to ask later as he hopped off the ledge. He smirked at her reaction to the menthol and ignored the little voice in his head as she leaned out over the edge, instead distracting himself by following her gaze out over the city despite having no idea what the place even looked like. He turned back to her and grinned as she began to bounce with her usual contagious energy, his grin slipping into an amused smile as he was tugged along behind his new little friend to a place unknown. [attr="class","alpha"] [attr="class","beta"] As Church hung upside-down under his bridge directing his bats and watching what he could of the battle. A large sploosh distracted him as the juggernaut attacking his temporary boss plummeted into the lake beside him, splashing up acid that sprayed onto the dangling Church. Luckily his defense was still holding strong however, and he merely shook off as much of the acid as he could, much like a dog, before finally pulling himself back into an upright position on the support bar, the remnants of the acid fizzing for a moment before vanishing entirely. He paused as a voice rang out over the sound system, but besides registering the words big guns he wasn't paying a whole lot of attention to the voice. Instead he crawled across the support and peeked out from under the bridge, scanning the chaos until he found said big guns. At first he was tempted to approach the Green nomu purely for the fact that she/it was kinda fine~... but the proceeding destruction swiftly changed his mind before he could crawl out from his hiding spot. "Nah... Good luck suckers!" He flashed a sassy wave before smirking and slipping back under the bridge, only pausing briefly as he heard the Little Devil's voice and looked back towards the shore to see her on the ground. That one got a genuine wave before the two turned their separate ways and Church continued along the under-side of the bridge like a monkey, or perhaps a snake would have been more accurate. He was well aware the person paying him for this job was in as much, if not more, danger as he was, but he had also made it clear prior that he was not the combat type. Out-thinking your prey only got you so far, and these coloured Nomu were far beyond his schemes as it currently stood. Until things went better on their side, Church was focused solely on not getting obliterated and trying to make it to the end of his bridge without being seen.
