In the Southern Wing of Takamagahara
A fever dream. That was what anyone that ended up in the southern wing of Takamagahara would believe they'd entered. Pools of swirling acid in purples and greens, windows holding back massive aquariums of the same and a variety of rickety balconies, thoroughfares and fences combined to make navigating the place akin to getting through a maze.
"Ah rats! They got inside! Get them!"
A cacophony of squeaks answered the distant order, one that erupted with varied delays from a bunch of speakers scattered all over the place. Far into the distance and separated from the new arrivals by a veritable lake of caustic acid crisscrossed with rusty bridges both thin and wide alike that intersected each other at myriad angles both horizontally and vertically lumbered a wide variety of Nomu. Some with hulking forms that made their footing shake when they walked, others thin and gangly, more yet so different from the rest that they were difficult to define. The ones that would be the most immediate problem however were the rat-human chimeric Nomu standing near the edges of the lake and at various points on the bridges atop it.
Crates full of regular rats sat next to each of them and more were ferried in by other Nomu as time passed. On the distant shore one of the ratmen Nomu scooped a handful of them into a container full of the purple spittle dripping from its mouth. The rats screeched and squelched as they grew. With frenzied eyes they crawled back out and raced for the intruders, their forms swelling further and further all the way up to the size of large wolves as their feet pattered atop the ramshackle metal paths. The moment they reached their maximum size they exploded coating everything nearby in acid.
This batch hadn't reached the intruders in time but as more and more of the ratmen Nomu began scooping rodents into their bowls the ones that started closer to the front were bound to get there. So too would more and more find a foe the further in the intruders ranged.

[attr="class","bmsk"] in blackest night... Sweat ran down Jun's back, made all the more uncomfortable in her hero suit. She rarely wore it, wanting it to be as pristine as possible when she finally graduated. Apart from a few training sessions testing out the winches on her sides, this was the second time she had ever worn this in a settling confronting criminals. The first was almost a year ago, while on the Inazuma with Kaida. She couldn't think about that now. There was a job to do, and between Ouros being mobilized and Kei being in danger Jun couldn't find it in her heart to remain on the sidelines. Despite her flaws something needed to be done, and she wasn't going to be the good man that did nothing. The south wing was not only set up in a weird and wild manner, there were also dozens and dozens of targets making themselves known. It took Jun a moment to process what was going on, and this area was not ideal for her as it seemed like the enemy was going to send wave after wave of their own men into the breach. The hulking war forms were of immediate danger as they made their way across the lake, but the smaller ones with the crates...that could cause problems if left unattended. "They have an expendable source of suicide bombers," she says, taking a breath as she channels her determination. "I'll set up some bombardment to suppress their little factories on the far side. Please keep the big guys off of me!" Jun wanted to create a large amount of fourteen- and eighteen-pounders on their side, but accuracy was more important than volume; those bridges would have to be taken, and volume would mean their destruction. Instead, she created two turrets with two barrels each, aiming and focusing on hitting the crates themselves. If the rats could be scattered, then they'd have a much harder time creating these shock troops. Assuming she it, that was. Jinx,

DisgustingRaiden viewed the maze of bile as a horrible realization of evil genius. Terrible chemicals, acidic or not, were held in prisons of glass that he hoped would be resistant to the concussion of his quirk. Apparating from the power of Pixel's badge, the armor-clad Nobu radiated red from Hoshiguard's center stone along with the eyes and outline of his visor. Concealed, Raiden would be seen as a machine of raw, unbridled energy. Imposing, he stared at the swarm and tightened his balled fists as red electricity crackled along. Would it be enough to fight with red lightning to avoid flooding the area? As he saw the heroic figure prepare to take distant strikes, Raiden would storm ahead to protect them. "No worries, I will help you exterminate." The Hoshiguard made his voice seem more robotic, given a level of stoicism to it. Jabbing his hand into the ground and sending a pulse of lightning, the puddles of acid would electrify and suppress the closing wave of rats that grotesquely expanded would mindlessly run into the ever-expanding circuit. Prematurely rupturing from being electrocuted, red would illuminate the lake as the voltage diluted the further it spread. Only clearing the incoming wave, the rickety bridges became a concern. As monstrous ratmen would look to take more of the lake's space and close in, Nobu began formulating a strategy. He didn't know who he was working with nor the risk of using stronger lightning, so he stood guard to Junsuina. Lightning dances along the surface of his armor, the expressionless visor staring into the varying faces of twisted pleasure and fury painted on the abominable nomu. This was going to be an all-out war. junsuina

[attr="class","alpha"] [attr="class","beta"] Church slipped out of a warp gate and landed lightly on his feet, followed swiftly by a small pack of various small creatures including bats, rats, and ferrets. Each creature looked slightly... wrong, be it horns or scales, each had something that made it stand out as unusual. "Lucky!" He smiled as he looked around at the wild landscape inside of the room. It was hard to think he was inside a building. As far as what he had been hoping for when he jumped into the warp gate, this was as good a match as he could have asked for. He quickly surveyed the situation before sending his bats into the shadows of the high ceiling with a flick of his wrist, likewise with his land-based creatures into the shadows of the various pipes and tanks. They had no defense against acid, but he did. As another wave of the large bloated rats ran foreword, Church tossed his cape away and stood in just his bodysuit, which was now glistening with a liquid as he skipped foreword along the far side of the room. He could see that others had already passed through, but he had no idea who led them and thus gave them a wide birth. Still, they were being quite useful as they took out the various bloated rats and focused the crates. Church made his way around the main carnage, unfazed as he was occasionally splashed with the acid, until he reached the edge of the lake and cut towards the nearest rat nomu on it's shore. While keeping enough distance to hopefully avoid getting shot by the guns should the woman controlling them swing them their way, Church pulled out a switchblade and cut his arm before swinging it towards the shore behind the rat nomu that'd become his target. As the clear liquid sprayed from his arm into the acid it let out a violent hiss and spat acid into the air around him and the nomu. Did these things have resistance to the acid in here? As he made another cut and splashed more clear liquid into the acid, creating a wall of hissing spitting acid along the shore, he decided he couldn't wait to find out. Rui crawled onto the scene, goblin that she was. ''Magic Bestie said this would be a fun time, but I didn't expect him to put an amusement park down here!'' She marveled at all the different colors, taking it in like a kid that had walked through the gates of Disney Land. Sitting in the middle of the floor she made no attempt to hide herself, nor did she care about what was going on. Not at first, anyway. ''But where's the rollercoaster?'' She sprang up and ran over to one of the pools of acid and stared down into it. ''Maybe I go through this stuff!'' She was about to submerge herself in the pool when she heard the sounds of battle, which she decided was far more interesting than potentially maiming herself. ''That sound!'' She ran ahead, but stopped a good bit behind the chaos and watched the bleeders struggle like they always did. ''Isn't that... Jun Bestie?'' She grinned wickedly, reaching for her knife. ''Must be my lucky day. ~'' And she would have gone for the kill too, if she hadn't noticed that lightning bastard Raiden fighting alongside her. Cursing under her breath, she instead turned her attention to Church and decided to follow him. At some point she was going to get her opportunity. Stab Jun from behind, push Raiden into the lake, she was going to have her revenge on everyone that wronged her! For now they could fight their silly little battle and get nice and weak for her. Sometimes her impeccable intelligence frightened even herself! ''Hi Silver Bestie!!'' She called out to Church, waving her arm over her head and keeping her distance as he made a shower out of the candy-colored acid. ''Do you think it's edible, or drinkable? There's a low chance it could be candy!'' She pointed at the lake, suddenly running past Church when she noticed a huge rat Nomu. ''Pet rat, mine, he's mine!'' She ran up to hug it only to get blasted by rat acid, coated in a layer of the stuff as it burned into her skin. The acid muffled her screaming as she fell onto her back, and a few seconds after being hit she stopped moving. Church Blackburn, Nobu, junsuina, Jinx

The Bird of Hermes is my name Eat My WINGS TO KEEP ME TAME
Twin hulking beasts blocked Elias's path. They were still rat-like but were far larger than some of their brethren. They sported gargantuan teeth and razor claws, rippling with muscles more fitting of a large gorilla. Repulsive. The spray of machine gun fire from the Scale, one of Ouroboros's foot soldiers, did nothing to deter the beast. If anything, it only angered the oversized rodent. The creature lunged for the man standing at Elias's side, but Ouroboros's people were well-trained. The Scale dove aside and then shot back onto his feet. A small cylindrical barrel rose from his shoulder and a series of spikes fired into the rat-beast. Their personalized armor allowed them to use their quirks, but it wasn't enough. The second creature skittered across the ground with all the speed of its much smaller counterparts, then latched onto the man. There were no screams–fear had been trained out of them–but all that meant now was a silent death. The rat dug its claws through his armor, then forced the Scale back over the edge of the bridge. He plummeted into the acidic sea below. "Could use a little help over here," Elias called to the three brothers behind him. These three weren't simple Scales but the Fangs of Ouroboros, highly trained and incredibly deadly combatants. There was Magister, the eldest of the three who could summon shadow-made constructs and creatures, and was busy tearing into another of the large rats. Corvidae, the middle-born who used his materialized ravens to teleport himself and his allies, now coordinating the rest of the Scales present. And lastly, Ferus, the unpredictable youngest who had a quirk part mutation, part transformation, and entirely batshit crazy, and was busy chasing some of the smaller rats scurrying along the bridge."No can do, fancy-pants, we're busy," Ferus chuckled with something equal parts derision and delight. "You have your people; put them to use. We need to spread out," Magister immediately followed. The man spun, and with the whip of his arm, a dark blade reached forth and jabbed into one of the large rat beasts ahead of Elias, rending it through and forcing it over the bridge.
Okay, that just left one.
Corvidae said nothing, but those dark ravens materialized just ahead of him and flew directly into his brothers, most of the Scales as well, and suddenly, they were gone. Great. Technically, the Fangs weren't under his command, but Ouroboros had commanded all of them to enter the breach. Elias put the word out through the HIbernacula, in kind, but he relied on Fangs to keep things secure. Now, they were off who knew where.
One Scale remained at his back, and two mercenaries he brought directly with him from the Hibernacula were closing on his flank to back him up.
They were all quite high above the acidic sea. The bridges they took ascended into the "skies," though realistically, it was just an absolutely physics-defying room. Far below, other figures were exchanging fire with some of the Rat-Nomu, but he couldn't rely on them this high up for quick backup. He was going to ruin his suit, that was for certain.
Elias drew his hands forward. Dozens of red threads unspooled from his fingers and lashed at the giant rat, slashing at it wildly, then latching onto its limbs to restrain it for the rest of the help. The Scale opened fire with his machine gun, and the two mercenaries charged. They drove clawed digits and a fiery fist into its gut, slaying the beast.
One down. A thousand more to go. Elias's frosty gaze locked onto more of them ascending the other side of the bridge. His high path avoided most of the exploding sorts, but there was no shortage of the larger beasties.
He needed intel and samples of anything of note he could find. Being caught in perpetual combat was not conducive to these ends. He would need to change strategies. Hopefully, more of the hired help would arrive soon.
tldr: Elias showed up with a few mercenaries, and agents from the organization he belongs to, Ouroboros. Unfortunately, the three best of those agents teleported further into facility via quirk, leaving him only with one grunt from the organization and two mercenaries. They're fighting some large, muscular rat monsters on a bridge that's extended far above the battle below. He's currently planning out what to do next and waiting on any backup from the word he put out for hired muscle.

Pastel blue flames billowed out from Yuji’s back, as he stepped through the warpgate onto a bridge being overrun by vermintide of mutated rats. Yuji ran a hand through his jet black hair, slowly and cautiously exiting the portal like a want to be badass. Unlike some heroes and villains, he didn’t have a fancy suit to intimidate people. He just had his quirk, a mask that made his lower face look like an oni, and a sense of bravado. So, yes, he exited the portal slowly, and hopefully with some gravitas. Stepping through the portal was like stepping through a dream. Or a bad trip. Suspended in massive aquariums rested swirling pools of multicolored acids, shielded by a labyrinth of balconies, thoroughfares, and fences stacked against one another like an endless winding maze, filled with endless twists and turns. Momentarily caught in the glamor of the neon greens, and shades of purple; Yuji felt like he had stepped into some sort of strip club–rather than–well–whatever this place was to be. All that was missing was the cages of men dancing on a pole. That would be heavenly. Unfortunately, the oncoming vermintide clashing with the mercenaries that Elias hired, alongside some other unrecognizable faces told him otherwise. I guess I should be looking for my boss. Yuji thought, scanning through the mayhem his eyes fell upon Elias– who had just torn apart a rat Nomu with dozens of red threads that unspooled from his fingers, and failed about wildly until the beast was shredded like pieces of paper. He then watched Elias pin one down for another one of the mercenaries to shoot it down. It looks like this man can take care of himself, Yuji grinned. Looks like I can have a bit of fun. With maniacal laughter rumbled behind his half-oni mask, Yuji approached Elias from behind while condensing a flame of cold-fire into a javelin like shape. He threw the cold flame-javelin like a spear. It would whistle past Elias’s face, skewering an monstrous rat Nomu in their chest and quickly freezing their upper torso. The creature would cry out in pain from the frostbite that was consuming their torso. “I apologize for being late to the party boss.” Yuji said casually. “I guess you can say, that I got a bit lost for a moment or two. So, what is the game plan?”

[googlefont=Quicksand] [attr="class","likedo"] [attr="class","likedotitle"] [attr="class","likedotitle2"]A NEW NOMU HAS APPEARED! [attr="class","likedoinfo"] A veritable cacophony resounded throughout the area as the fighting intensified. Acid charred rats and intruders alike, crates were shattered sending their contents into the depths below and ever more rats were slain. Yet the tide continued and not just that, it swelled.
As rats continued to bite, claw and explode larger figures lumbered forth as well, [four-armed juggernauts] that slowly plodded towards the invaders along the myriad bridges.
With their bulk in the way striking down the ravenous rodents became far harder, for while the skittering foes could crawl and climb across their indomitable forms to close the distance any intruders that attempted to approach them would face retaliation in the form of incredibly slow but devastating blows.
On one of the bridges a combatant readied themselves to face one of the juggernauts. Forming his palms into a triangle he fired a star shaped laser into it. Its skin roiled and bubbled before the laser pierced the vigilante's own torso instead, the Nomu's Absorb and Release quirk having sent the Emitter's attack right back at them.
One could only hope the remaining combatants would fare better.

[attr="class","bmsk"] in blackest night... The number of people that were coming in were people that Jun didn't recognize. Not only were there gates involved, but in scanning the field she recognized one of them: Rui. What in the world is going on? One of the rats that managed to slip past Nobu's defense had charged her, and with a quick sidestep and the use of the winches on her sides she managed to subdue the creature, resuming the barrage on the far side. ["Be advised, potential other villain presence has been detected in south wing."] It wasn't ideal, but she had to give some heads up to the rest of the raiders that she came down here with. She looked over at the armor clad figured, having to split her focus. "Hey! You got some kinda name? And tell me you aren't with those other guys portalling in..." The scene that played out on one of the bridges caused a shudder to run up Jun's spine, and as she looked away she couldn't help but turn a shade of green as the body slumped and fell over the side of the bridge. Taking a deep breath she turned one of her turrets towards the bridge. That was a beam attack that did that. If she was accurate enough to not hit the bridge- The shells immediately reflected back, and instead of taking out the monstrosities they flew right where she was standing. She dove out of the way, causing the turrets to vanish. What was that? She had a sinking feeling. That guy's quirk was an emitter...it had to be. And by technicality so was hers. ["Monsters spotted that can reflect emitter-based quirks! They're progressing up the bridges, no progress can be made until they're dealt with!"] Of course, Jun didn't know if anyone at all was going to be able to be spared to help deal with them. She did the one thing she knew to do; create a shield wall to prevent the monsters from getting to their side. There was no way it'd hold, but every second counted. There was something bothering her, though. Why weren't the bridges being destroyed? It was a common defensive strategy, and if she were on the other side she'd have already destroyed them. Which meant those bridges... Jinx, junsuina, Nobu, Church Blackburn, Rui Matsui, Elias, yuji, tl;dr: -deals with a stragger -tries to snipe a new monster, backfires -calls for backup, creates shield wall to stall monsters

[attr="class","body"] look. i don’t know how i got all the way up here. but what i do know is that there are rats. really muscular ones on a bridge. and i just happen to be on the bridge in the perfect position to sneak up on them… and that can be really terrifying to an unsuspecting creature. i think back to the countless nights where i was awoken by some stranger screaming at the top of their lungs in my ear cos i was somewhere i wasn’t supposed to be. and isn’t it messed up i’m thinkin they shouldn’t be here? i’m the one who shouldn’t be here. i don’t live here, i was paid to come here! speaking of… “oh hey, there you are.” i look at the rats, there’s clearly some violence happening here but, like, maybe i could deescalate with a few words? “hiya friends. trash buddies.” i think it’s going well. “maybe we can all just get along?”

[attr="class","Im"]
[attr="class","really"] [attr="class","exhausted"]Here with a push of a button! [attr="class","rhythm"]

After having marveled over the technology of one of the badges that Pixel had made and distributed among this ragtag group of vigilantic minded people, Yusuke had snagged a decent amount to carry in his oversized puffy coat pockets. Anyone who saw him in the main camp would have easily surmised that one of these buttons was bound to vanish in the chaos as Yusuke reaalllly wanted to investigate the technologies behind this gadget. He got so caught up in his headspace and fascination of the little device, that he was a little bit delayed in realizing that it was 'go-time.'
So, with a push of the button on the badge, the man going by the moniker of M0NSTERBAT fizzled out and reappeared in a brand new location that definitely looked familiar to him. Not exactly familiar, but moreso from when somebody spiked a drink of his at a concert and the world just looked funky. Regardless of this unfamiliar sense of deja vu, the man-bat wearing his M0NSTERBAT helmet and 'hero-outfit' was able to see the chaos through his visor and leapt into action.
"Eugh, so glad I'm wearing this helmet. Looks like this place would stink to high heaven," Yusuke idly spoke his thoughts allowed, surveying the area of mutated creatures and a plethora of people fighting some freaky weird looking rat-bominations. Green and Violet hues shining through various well-lit aquariums showcased some who had weaponry and were dicing these creatures to bits, others were brawling or manifesting energy creations to blast through these monstrosities.
His ear twitched upon the sound of flesh scorching and a pained groan. As the Violet and Blue Bat flew, he swerved his flight path in order to intercept the ravaged Vigilante. "Ey bud, make sure to scream reeeeal loud for the guys back at camp," M0NSTERBAT instructed as he did a fly-by, locating the Pixel Badge on the bloke's body and smacking it with enough force to fizzle him back to the camp. Someone back there oughta have enough know-how to either stabilize him or, god forbid, keep his body safe to deliver to his family and/or loved ones.
That left him with big, bad and fugly.
Swooping into a U-turn to take another pass at that bridge, Yusuke's sights were set on the monstrosity that damn near (or probably did) kill a dude. "Hey ugly, when you hit the ground, please don't cause an earthquake," Another snappy quip left the Man-bat's helmet as with a flap of his wings, barreled by the creature's head with an outstretched arm. Yusuke using a combination of his speed and strength hoped such a clothesline would cause the juggernaut to topple over the side of the bridge, sending him falling down to wherever the hell the ground was.
On that pass-by he noticed another group dealing with by some bombastic green-garbed gal having to dodge out of the way of what seemed to be her own quirk projectile reflected back at her. In fact a lot of these people were having difficulties in that department...
"OI, ANY OF YOU HAVING ISSUES! SHOUT FOR THE BAT!" He professed as loud as he could, not being rather picky with his allies due to the chaotic mess that they were in. Anyone against these creeps was currently good enough in his books.
That was when he heard some muffled screaming as he saw what looked like a seemingly young horned girl thrashing on the ground with her face covered in what looked like goop. "Girly, you doin' alright there? One clap for yes, two for no! Or no claps if you really really need help!" M0NSTERBAT shouted as he flew in the general direction of Church and Rui, hand reaching into his oversized poofy coat to see if he needed to fizzle her back to safety with one of the Pixel Badge gadgets.
>> Yusuke fanboying over Pixel's tech >> Fizzles in and takes in surroundings, hears one of the vigilantes gets a laser redirected at 'em >> Yusuke flies and uses one of his spare pins to send the NPC Vigilante back to the main camp, hopefully someone back there can tend to him >> Yusuke attempts to clothesline and shove one of the Juggernaut Nomus over the railing, plus One-Liner >> Yusuke offers help to anyone who shouts for him, and glides towards Rui and Church's direction to see if the girl blasted by Rat Acid needed help, willing to send her to the Vigilante Base if it was bad...

[attr="class","body"] “Jun!” People would have seen black rabbits with blue eyes wandering about in ways they shouldn’t. To those that knew me, even if they hadn’t seen my quirk, they’d recognize the eyes. What’s more important was the limited information I had and what I could do to help those around me. If there was ever a time to prove my worth, it was here. Lead the horses to water I could never drink. “Head to the West Wing! Yaoyao needs your constructs!” It wasn’t a lie, but it wasn’t the entire truth either. Yaoyao did need help… but they all needed help. But if I could use her emotions to my advantage, in the same way she did for her quirk, she might be able to save them all. “There’s a flood!” Unfortunately, this isn’t where I belong. It’s a pitstop… and if anyone else here can help with what’s happening, they’ll at least know what to expect. “I’m heading East. If there's an emergency, crush one of my rabbits!”
Then, I left.

[attr="class","alpha"] [attr="class","beta"] Church danced around the flailing rat nomu in a rain of acid, enjoying the sight of the creature clawing at itself as it's skin sizzled and dissolved. Occasionally he lunged foreword and swiped at it viciously with globs of his own acid, his eyes lighting up as it let out shrill shrieks of pain and rage. After only a few moments the nomu suddenly slumped to the ground and grew still, it's now-exposed skull staring up at Church with hollow eyes. Satisfied, Church planted his foot on the crate of rats it had been using and shoved them off into the acidic lake, grinning as they made a loud hiss before sinking beneath the surface. It wasn't much in the grand scheme of this war... but it was a win for him, and more importantly, he'd had a blast doing it. He was about to head for the bridge when he heard a familiar voice and turned to see that his lil'devil had also came for some fun. However, he didn't even have time to answer her before she streaked past him like a kid in a candy store... right into one of the bloated rats. He watched with an expression that could only be called a deadpan as she was drenched in acid and fell wreathing onto the ground. Somehow, he had the feeling this was going to be a recurring thing for the next few hours. He skipped over to her still body and crouched beside her with a shake of his head, wiping off as much acid as he could to try and help along her quirk as he glanced around at the enemies swarming the place. Large grotesque things had appeared on the bridges and were heading toward them, but they were too slow to worry Church. Still, as he watched one reflect a beam and absolutely wreak a hero with his own quirk, he felt the familiar buzz of curiosity consume his mind. He glanced down at Rui for a moment wondering if she'd be fine if he dipped... after all the nomu wouldn't bother with a dead body right? Yet as he stepped away, a voice in the sky surprised him and he looked up to see... a neon bat. Are the fumes in here stronger than I thought, or is fashion in this country getting a little crazy?"She's just dead, she'll be fine in a few!" He called back nonchalantly, not bothering to give any context to his words before running off towards the bridge with a wild look to his eyes. He had gotten a few scratches from the nomu he melted, but nothing he would deem a worry. If anything, it had only made him more of a pest as he weaseled his way onto the railing of the nearest bridge and swung his arms to fling drops of acid onto the rats around him. Without hesitation he headed out along the railing like a dancing acrobat on a tightrope over the lake, narrowly dodging reaching claws and snapping teeth as the rats along the edge of the wave turned to try and pull him down. He was well aware not even his quirk would save him if he fell into the lake, and at best would buy him seconds before it overwhelmed his defenses, but at the same time that was what made it so fun. He had almost reached the looming juggernaut when he suddenly jerked to a stop and fell forward with a surprised yelp. He immediately felt pain scorch up his leg like fire as he caught himself and cursed before glancing behind to see that a rat had sank it's teeth deep into his leg just above his ankle. "Son of a- Excuse you!" As he spoke, the rat reared back with a scream and began clawing at it's throat savagely before suddenly dropping like a bag of potatoes. Church quickly hopped back to his feet, but his leg was bleeding an alarming amount and he was pretty sure it had hit bone. Still, as he saw the blood running down his ankle he had a wonderful idea and smirked before suddenly kicking out in the air, spraying acid onto the rats as they swarmed by in a frenzy and laughing.
