This whole battlefield was a swirl of interesting activity, and she had secured the best seat in the house to see all the carnage. She would have been content to keep watching too, if it wasn't for the rapid developments Takamagahara was going through. ''That looks bad!'' She chuckled as the new Nomu showed up and started wrecking their forces. ''That voice over the speaker wasn't my Elementalist Bestie, that's a problem.'' She grumbled, before getting feedback through her earpiece. However, before she could respond to it some freakish gremlin who liked to claim she was a princess came swinging right for her. ''Hey- my stuff!! That's mine!'' She swiped at Mira, but she was already long gone. ''What was that? I'm getting some interference!'' She pouted as she finally responded to the message in her earpiece. ''Oh, okay.'' She leaned forward and patted Yusuke on his head. ''Hey Monsterbat Bestie, they need me somewhere else! I'll see you around, okay? Don't die I wanna go for more flights!'' She smiled, before leaping off his back and miraculously somehow not plunging into the acid lake but landing on solid ground.

As her broken bones healed from the fall she looked over at Church. ''Silver Bestie! I've got places to be! Let's kill some stupid idiots together later!'' She grinned, then turning her attention to Elias. ''Magic Bestie!! Good to see you here too, will there be an afterparty?'' She stood up and dusted herself off, looking Raiden and Jun's way one last time. ''I'll kill you two worthless bleeders later! Stay safe besties! ~'' She flipped them off too for good measure before diving through the teleporter.

[attr="class","really"] [attr="class","exhausted"]AGGRØ-BATICS Yusuke had continued his conversations with Rui up to this point, answering, "Oh yeah.  Not really a fashion designer, but if I wasn't so passionate about helping others then I probably could've been.  That or another one of those tech nerd corporation guys."  That was the honest truth for him, as he saw no reason to hide that facet of his own skillset.  Honestly seeing that there was a very high probability of being on good terms with this wild child, she would finally introduce herself as Rui.  "Nice meeting you Just Rui, I don't think you're a devil person," He'd flat out agree without much room for arguement... Until her next sentence which, for a lack of better words, shocked him as she wanted to kill 'Jun Bestie.'  Huh, so the Bestie thing seems to have a different meaning or meanings for Rui?  Something to keep note of for future interactions!  As he filed this information in different sections of his mind, it seemed that he was flying towards said Jun Bestie.  Rui would compliment his rhyme which was given a simple, "Thanks!" As he focused on flying towards Jun to grab the anchor and chain, Rui was taunting her in a fun manner.  It was best to redirect her violent tendencies towards the monsters.  Swerving around monsters as he could feel some tension coming from Jun, assisting the Green Gal to help topple and send the monsters flying over the bridge's edge.  He managed to avoid a good amount of the random rats and big blubber monsters from striking him, however he could feel something burn against his back. "Aagh, Ooh that burns, I'll need some Aloe for that," Trying to keep his mouth running to focus on something other than the pain, he soon felt relief as Rui would mention that she was 'mega-awesome' and to leave injuries to her.  His ear twitched as it sounded like something came from her arm and wrapped over his back, which while didn't fix the now bigger hole in his coat fixed the injury.  "Ooh, you are Mega Awesome.  You can help a lot of people with that!" MØNSTERBAT exclaimed with genuine happiness for her.  Soon he reached the end of the anchor's give, and lets go; trusting Jun to continue hooking onto Noumu at the furthest length she had... That was when Rui gave quite the question, wondering where the MØNSTERBAT stood on killing people.  "I'd rather do the opposite, I like saving people," He knew it was probably not a good answer to share what with a violent gremlin on his back, but he wasn't one to forsake his own beliefs, "I don't necessarily agree with the majority of Professional Heroes, but I don't like watching people suffer or die.  Hope that doesn't make us enemies, Rui Bestie!" Before that bit of conflict could find some sort of resolution, Yusuke winced upon hearing the speaker's crackle to life as this gangly sounding guy gave messy, sporadic orders.  It distracted both MØNSTERBAT and Rui from the earlier conversation, what with the Mummy-Bestie commenting that this wasn't Elementalist.  Another mental note there, the physical notes became super apparent when something massive arose in the distance, which definitely wasn't good in any sense.  Yusuke would stop moving and hover close towards what ceiling, giving the pink haired stranger a good opening to zip upward.  Yusuke was tempted to stop her, but it seemed she was an ally as she was 'borrowing' something from Rui at a touch.  More oddities, more things to learn!  But before he could question that, Rui would first attempt to get snippy at Pinky before hearing some sort of message in her ear piece.  Due to the distraction Yusuke wasn't attempting to listen in on any special conversations, so he kicked himself in the ass for that one.  She would jump off of him saying she didn't want him to die, which was met with a similar, "Same!  Also please do not kill actual people, there are more than enough monsters to pest control!" Groaning to himself over what the hell he got himself mixed up with, he turned to see the plethora of these colored creeps approaching multiple fighters.  "I got a bad feeling about this quartet," Yusuke groaned as he flew towards the closest one near him, which was the sword wielder aiming to slice through the Red one.  Red made no attempts to dodge the attacks, but rather the attacks seemed to warp around them...  And the fighter was flung off by that same force it seemed?  Yusuke opted for a fly-by as he tagged the Swordsman with another one of the many spare Pixel Badges, and with a "BOOP" sent the sword guy towards the Vigilante camp. As he did that, he listened to the screaming caused by the Speedster falling after the altercation for Green and White.  "If only I was faster," Yusuke wished as he knew for a fact that he wouldn't be able to reach the falling speedster.  He also wasn't paying attention to what they were capable of, so he was going to leave that to another group to hopefully deal with.  What he was able to see was Yellow much further ahead, quite literally decimating people from its blasts.  Just complete disintegration. "I'm going to the front, we need speedy people or long range fighters on Goldy!  Mood Ring, I think you can take King Crimson over here!  And about Blue and Green....  I wasn't paying attention!" MØNSTERBAT relayed with shouts, speeding towards the front where he would easily close the distance between himself and this blackened yellow creature.  It looked like its brain was out on full display as it continued riding the Ugly Juggernaut Blob monster.  Almost immediately was he caught in the line of fire as a cube formed within its hand, shooting out towards the Flying MØNSTERBAT. Performing an Aerial Roll, MØNSTERBAT would attempt to once again swoop low, aiming to fly underneath the Juggernaut's heft until hearing the hum of the transluscent cube forming in the other hand of Yellow.  Swooping aside as he new he was in trouble, he took an up and left sharp turn in order to put the Juggernaut in between himself and Goldie.  That second cubic blast erupted, still trying to obliterate the MØNSTERBAT even at the cost of disintegrating a good chunk of the Juggernaut it was riding. "Alright, gotta make this count!" Yusuke mentioned as he flew in towards the Yellow-Brained Noumu with yet another U-Turn.  Hoping that the recharge of that blast would take a bit of time, Yusuke aimed a hefty fly-by punch into the fleshy mass of brain atop his head.  He felt a deft punch land well, as MØNSTERBAT flew as fast as possible to the edge of Yellow's range. [attr="class","bmsk"] in blackest night... Jun took in a breath, slowly letting it out. The strong taste of citrus burned her tongue, and feeling the harness of her suit strain under the tension made Jun think that this might be the end. Granted, she had other methods of getting up, but...if the chains broke, if her belt snapped, or if that harness ripped, she'd no doubt receive grievous injuries. Ones that she didn't know if she'd recover. And right in the middle of these thoughts the most unlikely savior made herself known: Lili. Wait, Lili? One thing at a time, Jun, save yourself first, Jun! Taking a deep breath she took hold of the shadows, letting out a shaky breath. "Down as far as you can, then full forward towards the middle of this lake! Those juggernauts have to go or we can't push those bridges!" She locked the winches, and with Lili dragging her out further than she felt safe she started to retract the chains. The nomu that punched her was the first to go, and unfortunately the acid had immediately begun to corrode the chain and anchor. There wasn't much Jun could do about that, but at the very least she could use it as a makeshift weapon instead of relying on it to save her life. Like five minutes ago. The other sent the remaining nomu on the bridge into the drink, and thankfully that chain was saved. She had a moment of confusion as something pink touched her, but there wasn't much she could do about that. As the head honcho began to come over the PA system Jun directed Lili to take them back to the safe side, where Raiden and the others were. As they moved and the Four arrived Jun's heart sank. Why were they so hellbent on defending the bridges? Why not blow them, or even have them in the first place? Granted, the simple answer was whoever was running this show was insane, why else would they build a room like this? Jun caught sight of the speedster falling to his doom, so summoning up a chain flung it in his direction and caught him. Barely. She thought she saw a small splash as something, maybe an arm or something, hit the acid, and she winced. Better an arm than all of you... Hauling him along as they got to the shore she set the man down, hesitating doing anything to him as he screamed. If she touched him, then she'd get acid all over her next, and she already felt some of its affects being in such close proximity. "Lili, let's move back," she says, hauling the guy up as she caught one of the heroes out of the corner of her eye, someone providing support for some of the forces. She'd take the moment to observe the field, looking to get the guy out of there. At least, into the hero's hands before she had a panic attack. What she could see on the field, though...there were still a few juggernauts roaming about, but hopefully those could be dealt with. It was these new creatures that took up the worry. As the speedster was handed off she pulled out a vial of gemstones and reloaded her rings, picking out one as she formulated a plan. "If the red guy is operating like the juggernauts I doubt I can do anything about him," she mused, watching as Monsterbat flew rings around Yellow. As she watched she noticed that weird guy...he seemed to be doing something, allowing the poozers down that way to get a leg up on the juggernauts on that side. She pressed her lips together, taking a deep breath. "If we can get them to turn on one another then that'd be best...but I doubt that will happen. Lili, if we take on the white and green ones we'll need to be on our guard. I don't know what white is capable of outside of...I don't know, identifying things? So if we catch it..." There was a bright glow, and she took a deep breath. "Assuming its intelligent, it might be identifying weaknesses of our allies. Get me close enough to throw this...and maybe we can neutralize it." To see Jun at work is always something of a wonder. She’s so smart, and her mind works in such fascinating ways, and she’s observant and quick to act and comes up with such creative ideas. It’s no hardship to let her take the lead at all; to simply listen and nod and trust in Jun’s decisions. To pull back with her precious cargo, to sweep the nomu off the path across the acid lake below, to deliver that poor man to someone who’d see him safely away from the battlefield.

But this newest order — that gives her pause, just a little. The white and the green ones? Lili turns her head, eyeing the two large creatures. She’s not quite nervous, can’t hardly feel it at least, but she doesn’t like the look of those things all the same. She likes the idea of willingly bringing Jun closer to them even less.

But Jun’s orders have so far proven sound, so… and Lili will protect her. Must protect her. If she doesn’t, she has no right to call herself Jun’s friend, human or shadow or otherwise.

Lili takes a breath, even though she doesn’t actually need to breathe in this form, and nods. “Alright. How close will we need to be?” There’s another thing, something needling at the back of her mind. An idea, sparked by something Jun had said. Something about turning the colorful monsters against each other… Ah!

There’s a brief flare of alarm through her bond with Yaoyao at the thought that strikes her— alarm, and then concern, and indignation. Don’t do anything stupid, Lili, Yaoyao warns - by which Lili knows she means anything that involves Lili recklessly and unnecessarily putting herself in harm's way - but Lili is already speaking.

“Jun, I - do you know that old Spanish tradition of bulls and red flags and matadors? It was a cruel tradition, but maybe it could work here? That is to say-“ She takes in another big breath that isn’t truly necessary, but it does help her brace herself. “My form like this, it’s… I can control how tangible I am. What I mean is: if I attract the yellow one’s attention and guide it to aim at one of the other colorful ones, and went intangible before its cube touched me — that is — do you think that would work?”

As Church hung upside-down under his bridge directing his bats and watching what he could of the battle. A large sploosh distracted him as the juggernaut attacking his temporary boss plummeted into the lake beside him, splashing up acid that sprayed onto the dangling Church. Luckily his defense was still holding strong however, and he merely shook off as much of the acid as he could, much like a dog, before finally pulling himself back into an upright position on the support bar, the remnants of the acid fizzing for a moment before vanishing entirely.

He paused as a voice rang out over the sound system, but besides registering the words big guns he wasn't paying a whole lot of attention to the voice. Instead he crawled across the support and peeked out from under the bridge, scanning the chaos until he found said big guns. At first he was tempted to approach the Green nomu purely for the fact that she/it was kinda fine~... but the proceeding destruction swiftly changed his mind before he could crawl out from his hiding spot.
"Nah... Good luck suckers!" He flashed a sassy wave before smirking and slipping back under the bridge, only pausing briefly as he heard the Little Devil's voice and looked back towards the shore to see her on the ground. That one got a genuine wave before the two turned their separate ways and Church continued along the under-side of the bridge like a monkey, or perhaps a snake would have been more accurate.

He was well aware the person paying him for this job was in as much, if not more, danger as he was, but he had also made it clear prior that he was not the combat type. Out-thinking your prey only got you so far, and these coloured Nomu were far beyond his schemes as it currently stood. Until things went better on their side, Church was focused solely on not getting obliterated and trying to make it to the end of his bridge without being seen.

So, there were several forces at work here, even beyond the more obvious factions warring through the facility. Was it the villain's mysterious benefactor that robbed this "main path" away? Perhaps the bridges were safer, holding some value to the madman on the speakers. A wise opponent would have rigged the intended route. 

These were all things to consider after dealing with the latest threat. Elias scowled as the rodents were destroyed. In truth, they were more of a distraction for those below, mostly avoiding the high bridges. Eliminating the juggernauts would have seen his path mostly cleared. But it wasn't meant to be. Instead, that crimson menace was floating up in their direction.

Elias bared his teeth beneath the mask, red threads swirling around him in challenge. Anxiety clenched his gut and prodded at the edge of his mind, but there was something else stirring in the man's gut as well. A brazen confidence that wanted nothing more than to tear its prey apart. Which begged the question, who was truly the predator here?  If he was wrong, it could cost him his life. 

"Rem, how about you greet our approaching guest with those kind eyes of yours?" He ordered as much as he asked. "The rest of you," he turned his attention to the villainous ensemble behind him, "once our dear friend here mutes this thing's abilities, be ready to ripe it apart!" 

Finally, he turned to the approaching beast. "Let's see what color you bleed," he muttered beneath the mask, his threads winding around one another, forming what looked like several spiked tendrils.

Elias wouldn't suffer a swordsman's fate. He weaved his will into reality. And turning to see Rem's eyes burn their pink brilliance, he knew his moment had arrived. The clustered threads stabbed through the air, homing in on the red Nomu. It protective layers, whatever quirk it held, were stripped away. The creature was exposed. 

The red threads cut through the air, and a second later, they hit... more air. Reality was not always so compliant with the fate weaver. The threads stabbed at the creature, but whatever its quirk, its defense was still active, the threads seemingly passing around it or through it, only spewing out the other side. 

It wasn't uncommon—Elias's will made manifest, but never quite how he imagined it. He granted wishes but couldn't dictate exactly how those wishes might take shape. It was the same here and now. The red Nomu's quirk was deactivated, not the one Elias meant to have shut down. 

Instead, the red Nomu plummeted from the air and fell toward the acidic river below. Elias peered over the edge and watched as the creature struck the searing tributary, bathed in liquid flames. How would its defense hold up when swamped over from every angle? Could it survive even that? 

"Keep pushing ahead," he ordered the others, watching below to confirm the creature's death. It might be over. It might be entirely unharmed. If fate dictated the former, good. The ladder? They might need to run.

i didn’t really understand was happenin.

there was wayyyy too many colors, shapes, and movement. my eyes had trouble keeping up but i knew to look out for the nice guy’s voice. djinn had hired me after all. and even though money meant nothin to a silly lil goose such as myself the fact he was asking and willing to pay for my help was a lot more than most people!

so, i guess when he told me to look at the one beast my body knew to listen. honestly? leading, following… it’s all the same to me. it’s kinda why i run shinjuku like that. we all are good for somethin’ and djinn seems like he knows how to use these eyes of mine!

“you’ve gotta bigger brain than me.” i’m followin as best i can. “tell me who to look at and i’ll get the job done! i’m pretty strong too tho so… i can punch…”

Raiden was too old for this shit. Too many surprises, too much calamitous circumstances. He was fighting with villains? Allies with Mummy -- oh, she left. That made sense, she did call the police on him. An unhinged villain, good riddance. The four avatars of horrid science appeared and threatened to lay waste to their efforts. While he felt alone, hoping to have alliance in Mood Ring's temporary allegiance to no avail, he knew that he could provide support fire.

This was a time for him to continue onwards with his lightning tirade. As juggernauts were pushed into the acid, they became less of a threat. Even the avatars created such collateral damage that the rodent bastards wouldn't be so present for a bit. That didn't make Raiden feel any better, he still needed to fight these unnerving beings. Nobody commanded him, so he needed to make a choice. Dashing along the bridge, he would set his sights on Green.

It made a visual point in the air resting over the lake of acid, gliding by and repeating the process with its flight while transporting a few raiders along the way. Trying to track it down, mighty bolts of blue lightning would tear through the air. It teleported itself next to its White counterpart, evading the first bolt. Raiden's goal was to keep it moving, as it became apparent that as long as the anchor was watched, an anticipatory shot was all that was needed.

Boom. Crack. Flash. Raiden fired away, clenching the air ahead of him as jagged streams of electricity would pass the teleporting Green and sunder bits and pieces of the fort ahead. As Mood Ring and her friend took on White, Raiden successfully separated Green from the duo. Could it tire? Would these mighty bolts overwhelm? "I could use some help pinning this thing down! Follow the light it leaves behind, its teleporting is pre-determined!"

Delaying his shot, he awaited Green's teleportation. After a storm of strikes that might force others to evade as it filled the air, Raiden knew that Green had to teleport evasively enough that it would reflexively continue. Once it did, Raiden hit it with one good strike and launched it into a glass wall. "One hit. All of that for ONE damn hit." Raiden wasn't pleased. He couldn't chase Green on foot, he just had the lightning.

If this kept going, he was going to exhaust quickly.

[attr="class","really"] [attr="class","exhausted"]Splish Splash give the monster a Bath [attr="class","rhythm"] It seemed like everyone else was giving these colored monster freaks the business.  Yusuke was at least glad that nobody else had been dealing with the crazy creature he was, as his ears didn't like the sound of the noise its attacks made.  Having melted through nearby Noumu with its energy blasts, it was just an immediate burn without any indication of any lingering sizzling or singing.  Heck, as MØNSTERBAT he was very lucky to have been so quick on the draw to avoid that first blast. And after that deafening crack of a punch he landed, he could feel and hear another cubic energy blast charging up and being shot right behind him.  Curving in his own flight paths, Yusuke continued to fly in a close proximity to this monstrosity.  Out-speeding the blasts by a considerable amount, but still feeling way too close for comfort.  Having landed his first strike, MØNSTERBAT went back in for seconds, thirds, fourths as he followed a pattern of flying in towards the Golden Blaster upon it shooting one of its blasts.  Then after landing another deft strike, Yusuke would speed away with more of those cubic blasts hot on his tail.  Again and again Yusuke repeated this process, noting the simplistic nature of this creature, making use of its lack of proper strategy to make his windows of striking smaller and smaller. Even going back as he would fly by one of the energy blasts that was shy of grazing him by an inch or four.  Landing another strike, Yusuke's Batspeed Punches were causing his own fists to start straining from the force his momentum and full strength was giving.  "Man, Moon aliens have better aim than you!" Taunting as a way to cope with the near-death anxieties he was currently enduring, Yusuke was both having the time of his life and fearing for the worst in regards to himself and those around him. All the while it seemed others were taking care of the other monstrosities.  The group that was taking care of the red one seemed to have it all handled, as it plummeted right into the acid below.  "Woo, Nice teamwork over there!  Way to give that one a bath!" Yusuke called out towards Elias and Rem.  Though hearing the Ker-sploosh of the red one falling into the drink below gave Yusuke one hell of an idea.  Once again taking advantage of Yellow seeming so super focused on him, Yusuke took another fly-by.  Though instead of aiming for another punch, MØNSTERBAT would fly right underneath the bridge just as it was at the zenith of its atomic blast.  Even slowing down his own flight so that this yellow floating lug would shoot.  "Oooh, I have an impenetrable floor protec-" Yusuke taunted before increaisng his speed with an intense flap of his wings as the yellow cubic projectile would disintegrate through the metallic bridge.   "Alright Goldie, it's time for you to take a dip!" Yusuke would call out upon curling his body around to flap upward to leap above yet another projectile.  Splitting his own legs apart, doing midair splits to avoid the atomic blast from ripping him in half, the flappy batty would position himself above the Noumu whilst dropping down.  His own hands would aim to take hold of Goldie's wrists, while sitting atop of it piggyback style in order to have his legs hinder its arms' movements.  Using his full force in speed and power, Yusuke began to fight the levitational force of this Noumu to force it closer towards the acidic streams below.   His own arms quivered and shook as the creature was desperately trying to shoot off more of those projectiles.  But with several more flaps, the feet of the Goldie should start to touch the green.  "I know you don't like bathes, but man you're stinky!  Monsters like you need to wash yourselves out of this world!" MØNSTERBAT Roared out as he continued pushing more, and more, forcing this creature into the bubbling acid alone.   Once more than half of its body was in the waters, Yusuke kicked his feet off of its body and began to glide across the surface of the water.  Pushing this creature further and further into the caustic slime until all that remained were its two arms. "Huh, gotta give myself a hand or two for this one, Hahaaaa!" "Then we can potentially sucker punch it into oblivion. "I ah, I know the tradition. I don't know what those blasts will do to you," she says, taking in the actions around the area. The Red one was dealt with, by the villains of all things. They somehow sent it into the lake, but the acid just seemed to...move around it. They were all floating around, so she could only guess is someone in that group did something to cause it to fall. Which would be bad news. "See those guys? Pretty sure they're villains! Keep a wide berth from them, whatever tricks they have up their sleeves, I don't want whatever they got affecting you." Was better safe than sorry. Watching how Raiden and Monsterbat fought, though...a few ideas ran through her head. Once they were close enough for Jun to throw the gem, she would. It'd fly through the air, either not threatening enough for the creature to care or too small for it to notice. At least, it would be until it was too late. Massive chains exploded from the gemstone, writhing and flailing around. A few would hit White and stun it, while a few more would wrap around its arms and legs, slowly wrapping around it. "There's an opening! It should be distracted enough, fling it Yellow's way! We can knock out two birds with one stone!" Jun really hoped the maneuver would work; Green was struggling against Raiden, and she wanted to assist as soon as possible. Thunderclaps and monster bats, these new creatures met the heroes )or hero students really) and other involved parties head on. If the fighting kept this pace, curtains would close on this first batch of resistance they met in the facility. So, rather than strike at one side or the other, Elias leaned over one of the fallen juggernauts and scooped a few samples into a vial, then pocketed the goods. 

"Come," he said to the small, villainous entourage around him. "We'll press further into the facility while they keep each other distracted." 

Helping the heroes and vigilantes risked injuring his own people for the gain that was more competition and potential obstacles further down the road, which was no gain at all. But, attacking them would deprive his allies of a useful distraction to these Nomu creatures. Best let them tangle up with one another further. 

Elias led the way down a bridge now mostly devoid of threats. The smaller, exploding rats were gone and the larger juggernauts didn't have the numbers or support to hold back the villain party with Rem's quirk nullification in play. 

When the bat called out to them, Elias simply watched as it turned to continue its dogfight with Green creature, then moved on. For the moment, the villain's path was clear.

tldr: Elias gathered some samples from the fallen Nomu on the bridge and is now leading the villains across it, leaving the other parties to fight the remaining Nomu.
