The last thing she remembered was acid spraying in her face and getting burned all over, then she passed out and had a little nap. When Church wiped some of the acid off of her body, it had already begun rapidly regenerating itself. Within seconds she was fine, as if she had never taken a rat acid bomb to the face. Once Church had left the scene she suddenly sat up. ''I've made a discovery, everyone!'' She called out to no one in particular as she got up to her feet. ''The rats are not friendly!'' She pointed an accusatory finger at the remains of the Nomu that had blown up on her. ''It is safe to say that they are working for that Elemental Bestie.'' She chuckled to herself as she put her hands on her hips. ''My superior intellect strikes again! Thank me and grovel at my feet! You can kill them all now!'' She waved her hand as if she commanded it.

Then she finally stopped to take a look around and realized she was alone and missing all the action.

Or so she thought.

''Wait!'' Her eyes locked onto Yusuke as she looked up. ''This one is different, there's a bat monster! A dripped out bat monster!'' Her surprise turned to excitement as she pulled out her knife. ''Come down here!'' She swiped her knife at Yusuke even though there wasn't a snowball's chance in hell that she was going to hit. For a moment she considered throwing her knife, but that would mean she didn't have a knife anymore. That wouldn't do...

Maybe if she sliced at the air some more Yusuke would take her up on her challenge.

Eventually she grew tired from waving her knife around and doubled over to catch her breath. ''If...'' She struggled through her sentence as she heaved for air. ''If you take me for a ride, I won't kill you, bestie!'' She slowly put the knife away. Could bats be negotiated with?

Raiden knew that one day he would be forced to swallow his pride and his hate and work with others to fend off some great foe. As he helped the construct-summoning hero, electrifying the rats, he would see a number of despicable figures appear. Namely, he saw Mummy once more. In anger, his dark armor would flash blue for a moment as it would switch back to the red. He needed to conserve his energy. Reckless storms could jeopardize the integrity of the arena.

As this lake of terror built with enemies and allies alike, surely there would be a surprise for them to deal with. Testing waters, Raiden would fire bolts of red lightning at hyper-muscular rats, burning holes through their bodies as he moved onward after the initial wave. Everything seemed to be going fine, as four-armed titans appeared. Surely, they were just going to be mountains of muscle ready to be seized or vaporized.

Jumping up, a corona of red light blinked from his wrist as Raiden shot a bolt of lightning into one of the titans. This juggernaut...absorbed the blow and fired right back at Raiden. Thankfully, his armor could withstand his red lightning. Sent hurdling back and bouncing off the ground several times, he ended in a slide that nearly caused him to be swallowed by acid. Standing, brushing himself off, the twisted anguish and anger underneath that visor was hidden but present.

Before the construct-user would vanish, he would yell at them. "No, I am not with that vile Mummy. I'm Raiden." Outstretching his arms and amplifying his lightning all the way up to blue. If it could absorb the energy, then he'd just disorient and blind it indirectly. "I'm a storm of my own." Which was true in a sense, the others worked together while he was alone.

This wasn't a good thing. Who was there for him? Was it safe for him to thunderclap? Maybe it would sunder the bridges, it should disorient many of the rats. [color=#19e6bf"CLOSE YOUR EYES! SHIELD YOUR EARS!"[/color] As a point of self-injury, he would clap his hands forward and while it wasn't on the level of a supermove, he used the natural thunder side effect of his quirk and blinding flash as he brought both hands together.

A burst of lightning that wasn't fired at anything but his own hands, he knew he would suffer for it. Still, the thunderous roar would sound throughout and while not all, but many of the nearby rats would shriek and shake. He couldn't speak for combatants on his side that were too close. Courteously, he kept away from the allied side of the bridge system. Repelling back, his armor would crack in various spots as he simmered the lightning potency back down to red.

Raiden needed a moment to recover from the recoil after. Self-injury hurts.

A glacial breeze brushed against Elias's cheek. It trailed a skewer of frigid flames that swept past the Wish-Maker's snowy mane and stabbed into the swole Master Splinter before him, flash-freezing its upper torso. A lethal blow all on its own, but that didn't stop the spiked-fist mercenary at Elias's side from shattering the creature with one last mighty blow. 

Elias fixed his owl mask which had come a little loose during the fighting, then turned to face Yuji. "Forgiven," Elias spoke with monotone words. Maybe he was a little distracted at the sight of the fellow with the nullification quirk, Rem, trying to talk to one of the rat beasts. Losing a quirk like that would be a shame, but other problems required his attention. 

"First, we need to break through that line," he started to explain, turning again to face the other end of the acidic river, where many of the bridges converged. "I believe I know the architect behind this madhouse, and if those suspicions are correct, I'd like to take him alive or, otherwise, get my hands on some samples of his work." 

Namely the Nomu. Ouroboros wanted everything on the Elementalist. What he had cooked up, his research, anything and everything. Chaos presented many opportunities to slip in and grab what Elias needed, but these creatures wouldn't be enough. He needed to reach the facility's innards, and that meant making it past these damn rodents.

The bridge shuddered. Some of the looser framework collapsed, and Elias whipped his head one way, then the other. Below a hero battled another muscular monster, some roided up orc beast. A brilliant beam of starlight slammed into the creature only to be spat right back at the man. He tumbled over the bridge and into the lake.

Fear. It stretched its arms out and slipped right into Elias's skin. A shiver ran up his spine. It was an unfamiliar feeling and one he wished never to experience again. Fieldwork sharpened the blade of his combative prowess, but he leaned on his quirk and knew it. Could these things reflect quirks now? Where was Retsu when you needed her?  

One of the juggernauts lumbered across the bridge his group occupied. Thunder clapped from below and drew the juggernaut's attention momentarily. It was far enough not to deafen those around Elias, but it distracted the giant mound of muscle, and that would have to do. 

Elias threw his hand forward and launched another dozen threads for the monster's arm, hoping to hinder its movement, but where one arm became entangled in threads, its other arm spewed the crimson cords right back. 

Elias dove aside, then looked to the remaining Ouroboros soldier, the Scale, to his side. "Shoot that thing!" The soldier complied instantly, opening fire with his machine gun. It only seemed to aggravate the monster, which now locked onto the man. Luckily, it was chasing the Scale now, who happened to be a fair bit faster than the slow, roided-up beast. That would occupy it for a moment, right?

Even if they could run the rest of the bridge now, another of the juggernauts awaited them on the other side. Better to probe this one for weakness first before advancing into a riskier position that threatened to see them surrounded. 

"We need to find an optimal strategy to kill these things!" He shouted to those around him.

tldr: Elias explained to Yuji that he's looking to capture the person he believes created the facility or his research. Then he sees the juggernaut coming and tries attacking it with his threads just to have those threads launched back at him. He dove out of the way and has an npc lacky distract it while his group tries to find a way to kill the new juggernauts.

The four armed freaks were advancing, and any attempt Jun made to push them back with her shields they pushed back two-fold. It was annoying...their advance was slowed, but it wouldn't stand for long. Her focus was disrupted briefly by Rahul, who (rudely) broke her concentration. "Hang on, I'm-" Oh, look at that, he was gone. The sudden spike of anger caused her shields to vanish, and that meant the monsters would press the advantage. Taking a deep breath, she channeled all her frustration into a single hammer, bringing it down on the bridge with the most supped-up rats and sending it into the abyss. With her newfound anger, she flung a second hammer at a rabbit that had a friend, destroying it before pointing at the survivor. "First of all, turn on your damn radio! Second, I have my hands full! Third, how about you come here and brainstorm a way with me to get across this lake instead of barking orders? Recall is currently in the fray and is more than capable of doing that!" It didn't stop the pang of worry in Jun, but there really was a bit too much for her to handle on her own. What she would give to have another hero here to help sort out the chaos. The moment Raiden's lightning reflected back at him caused Jun to worry that he just suffered the same fate as the earlier vigilante, but as she ran over to check on him he stood back up, none the worse for wear. "Well, Storm God, if you're here to help then we're going to have to figure out how to deal with those four-arms." She clapped her hands over her ears, but the resulting thunderclap still left her with ringing ears. Gritting her teeth, she looked around. Some villains she didn't recognize, a bat man, Raiden, Rui, some guy that charged right on top of a bridge... "I'm Mood Ring," she tells Raiden, waiving down the bat guy. "Hey! I got an idea, but gonna need you to come over here!" She looked over at Raiden, taking a breath. "Until those guys get off the field I think it's safe to say me and you are useless. If you can focus fire the rats on the far side I think I have a method to get them gone." She didn't want to think of what they were before they became nomus, and while she didn't agree with the late Stronghold's thoughts on dealing with villains this fell under the umbrella of mercy. She stalked forward a bit, glaring at the Ouroboros crooks. "HEY, POOZERS! YOU CAN EITHER KEEP THOSE RATS BUSY, OR YOU CAN DEAL WITH ALL OF THEM BY YOURSELVES!" She preferred to give people the benefit of the doubt, but those guys seemed a tad too shady and organized to be vigilantes. As much as she would open up on them, there were more important things to worry about. As Yusuke came in Jun pulled one of the anchors off her side, making sure the winch let the chain freely leave the mechanism before tossing it up to him. "Those four-armed things have a method of absorbing and reflecting emitter-based quirks. This is dangerous, but starting on this side I need you to fly down a bridge as far as they've mustered out. We're going to clothesline them into the drink and hopefully clear a path to the other side!" It was risky, but hopefully between the villains distracting the rats and Raiden providing cover they had a chance. Gliding over towards Rui and Church, he was thankful that the whitehaired guy started making his way over to his friend to help her out.  What he wasn't thankful for were the words that only confused the helmeted bat as he drew closer, gliding circles over them as he followed with a simple, "...  So is a that one or two clap situation?"  Genuine with his cadence, but insensitively sassy with his word choice, the M0NSTERBAT would find his worries waived as the girl who got acid blasted perked right up and blurted out her discovery. The discovery that the rats were not friendly. "Duly noted, Bats are better than rats anyways!" Yusuke quipped as he found himself pause as it seemed this girl was somewhat familiar with this stuff.  Elemental Bestie?  The M0NSTERBAT was so far out of the loop in the modern hero climate, that maybe this looped lipped gal who both had loose lips AND knowledgeable would be worth keeping around to get in the know- He paused as she said to wait, with Yusuke stopping his flapping as he echoed back, "Waiting!"  Until she pointed up at him and called him a Bat Monster...  A Dripped-out Bat Monster.  He found himself having a smile behind that visor of his, letting himself drift down to the ground and landing securely on the ground.  Yusuke didn't even seem to really recognize a threat in the knife swipes, as he answered, "Ooh I worked so hard on the outfit, thank you for the compliment!  Though, I'm Monsterbat, not a Bat Monster.  It's like how a theoretical Spider-Man would be a Man that is spiderlike, while a Man-Spider would be a Spider that is man-like." Then she blurted out that if he took her for a ride, then she wouldn't kill him.  Thaaaat definitely tipped him off that this girly wasn't a hero nor was she part of the vigilante squad.  Even rogues were getting up in this business, man what is going on here!?  He just had to get in the know! "Long as you don't stab me, you can ride me and we can do some pest control on these rats and other abominations!"  Yusuke chirped with a thumbs up, turning around and even crouching down a little to give Rui enough time and space to hop on. As he gave Rui enough time to hop on, his ears twitched a little upon hearing someone speaking at him.  He turned his gaze to see the orange haired girl in green garbs waving him over.  "On it!" He nodded as he piped up to Rui if she did indeed hop on his back, "Stick tight, I'm about to take flight...  Oh that rhymed, sick gonna remember that one for later!" Murmuring a little at the end as a couple rats would attempt to swarm him, but with a leap he got out of the way of rats trying to tackle and spray him. Zipping through the air back in the direction of Jun, as she started barking orders at the 'Poozers' whatever the heck that even meant and strategizing with Raiden.  It was only when Yusuke was within flight distance did an anchor toss upwards towards him.  "Alley-oop!" He chirped whilst catching the anchor, finding the chain still connected properly to some winches, "Ooooh I see what you're throwin' down!" With an excited grin, he would make a soft U-turn to hopefully not give Rui any sort of whiplash as he zoomed down the bridge.  "Any of the rats get close, give em a stabby stabby will ya?" He asked his passenger on his back as he began weaving around around rats and anything else that seemed unfriendly.  Swaying side to side as he weaved around, aiming to create a wobbling-effect with the chain to clear out all the intrusive and unwanted creatures.   All the while trusting this dysfunctional partnership to help him out as some of the Rat Noumus would wildly attempt to scratch him or spew acidic sludge at him. >> Yusuke thrown through all the loops with the shenanigans of Church and Rui >> Realizes it might be best to be on Rui's side as she might spill more deets so he can be a bit more informed >> Landed and waited, taking the compliment of being a Dripped Out Bat Monster really well, though correcting that he's a Monsterbat. >> Soon realizes Rui might not be a 'good guy' per se, but still gives Rui an opportunity to ride him as he flew, as long as she doesn't stab him >> Hears Jun and flies over towards Jun, taking an anchor and taking it and the Chains down the bridge, weaving through the uglies and baddies to have better chances at knocking them over the bridge >> If Rui is still riding him, asks if she could Stabby Stabby any threats that get too close! ''That's right!! Because bats have wings and they eat fruit!'' She agreed with Yusuke, completely ignoring the fact that rats could very much eat fruit too. She perked up when he thanked her for the compliment and suddenly didn't feel like stabbing him anymore. He wasn't like the monster rats at all, he could actually speak and walked around in drip. He wasn't just a monster bat, he was like a... A monster person bat. ''Really?'' She put her knife away and circled around him with curious eyes. ''Did you make it yourself? Are you like a fashion designer or something?'' She didn't really get what he was going on about talking about spiders and men, but she couldn't help but let out a laugh. ''You're funny, Monsterbat Bestie! People say I look like a devil but I'm not a devil person or anything I'm just Rui.''

Her eyes lit up with excitement when he agreed to take her to the skies. ''You mean it?! We'll kill all the abominations! Especially that Jun Bestie!'' She gave him a thumbs up back before hopping onto his back. ''She was totes so rude to me, you won't believe what she said!'' She pouted, all too eager to let him know about her feud with Jun on the off chance that he was chill with picking her up and throwing her into the acid lake below. ''Sick rhyme!'' She chirped.

Speak of the devil.

When Jun called him over Rui pointed over his shoulder at her. ''That's her! The mean girl!'' She stuck her tongue out at Jun. ''How does it feel to be tiny and small, you're down there, I'm up here! Rui is number one and Jun is a loser!'' As for Jun's plan she wasn't going to do anything to interfere, namely because she was enjoying flying for the first time with her bat bestie and it would be a lot funnier if Jun's plan ended up failing miserably before she died. Still, as they took off to execute their part of the plan she made sure to flip Jun off.

''Bet!! Stabby stabby is what I do best!'' She drew her knife and suddenly felt like one of those cool knights riding in on a horse in the old timey movies. She didn't have a lot of range, but thankfully neither did the bats, making it easy enough to stab a couple that tried to stop their advance. With another rat down, bits of acid sprayed onto Yusuke's back. ''Don't worry bestie, I'm kind of mega awesome so just leave your injuries to me.'' She grinned maliciously, unwrapping the skin around her forearm like bandages to wrap around Yusuke's arm to transfer her regeneration to him, healing the wayward acid in the blink of an eye. ''Hey Monsterbat Bestie, how do you feel about killing people? Like that Raiden guy and the one that calls herself Mood Ring.''

Church paused on the rail and glanced around as a boom shook the air, squinting as he saw a bat-riding-devil swoop by above him. He was about to call out to them, but before he could a solid mass suddenly slammed into his side with the wight of a sledge-hammer. Church made a noise of surprise as he felt himself knocked out over the open air and looked to see a rat roughly the size of a rottie following him over the rail. Without missing a beat, Church arched his back and swung out a hand for one of the support bars, grabbing it and using his momentum to swing himself under the bridge. For a moment he just hung there and listened to the hiss of his attacker sinking in the lake beneath him, but then he grit his teeth and swung his legs up and over a bar along the edge of the bridge's belly. There he hung upside-down to rest for a moment as he looked at the on-going battle. 

 "Ahhhh-... well fuck me." The others were making progress, but the big guys were slowing them down. Church could just make out the man that had technically hired him, but he was fighting a big boy on a bridge high above Church's. Well, he supposed he should probably try to make himself useful at least. As he hung there, the blood trickling from his leg became clear as it fell to the acid bellow. Once more a furious bubbling and hissing erupted from the lake just bellow him, shrieks joining the sound as the spitting acid rained over his section of the bridge and splashed the rats and one of the Juggernauts trying to advance.

As the little death sprinkler went off around him, Church took a deep breath and sounded off a sharp whistle that cut through the hissing around him. A moment later, four small shapes dropped from the ceiling's shadows and swooped just out of range of the angry acid.
"Good Luck! Make good choices!" Church waved after them as the bats climbed in the air towards Elias's party and swept over the rail at the Juggernaut. They didn't attack directly, but instead dove this way and that at it's head, filling the air with high-pitched clicks as they tried to distract and disorient it to do what they could to try and aid Elias.

the rats did NOT want to talk.

there was a lot of stuff goin on around me and maybe i could be helpin more but here i was gettin jumped by rats again. i thought the days were behind me now that i was all growed up but nooo, they wanted to keep up the turf war. well, fine by me.

a punch, a kick, and they start fallin off the bridge! it’s endless, but they aren’t too strong… and with the bridge limiting how many can come to me i think i’m doin pretty well! but then we got some four-armed monsters comin’ our way and….

omg did they reflect that guy’s quirk? that’s so cool.

but…

sometimes hurts my head, i think… i think… oh yeah. that’s an idea.

if it can reflect quirks… like the way it’s currently reflectin those fancy lil strings… then maybe it’ll reflect my nullification of its ability and nullify my nullifying? i’ve never had a quirk to nullify before so i wonder how it feels. fun, prolly, i think!

i run forward and throw a hefty punch towards it's gut as my red, unblinkin eye stares right at it. turns out it doesn't feel like anythin afterall? that's when i notice, at it reels at the blow, the red strings it was reflectin are gone... nice!

Identify the variables. Play them against one another. Find the right combination. There was a trick. A weakness. Something that could be used to further Ouroboros' agenda, just as he was tasked to do. With Magister and his troublesome brothers pushing further into the facility, Elias was no longer racing the heroes throughout the building but his supposed comrades. He couldn't return with nothing. He had to move forward, no matter the cost. Now, that meant dealing with these quirk-hungry monstrosities. 

He had half a mind to draw his weapon and fire on the student below; he opted for ignorance. She could be the lure here, draw more of the rats away from his assembly so they could push ahead. 

Another of the Juggernauts began to lumber across the bridge. One was problematic. Two? That would not be allowed. 

Not all the wildlife populating the facility appeared to be against them, though. Four bats swept up and harassed the oncoming juggernaut. It swung its large arms and flailed at them, but they were too agile, constantly evading its blows. Precious seconds staved off a potentially deadly fate. 

Elias turned to those behind him, the scale still firing every few moments between running. That's when the curious quirk nullifier dropped some gold on them. He could nullify these beasts' abilities. 

"Keep him alive!" Elias commanded his mercenaries, pointing at Rem. 

Countless threads unwound from his pointing hand and finger and slashed at the juggernaut, slicing its large musculature and then rending two of its arms. The threads tore into the beast, reducing its size and drawing blood. Sufficiently weakened, Elias grabbed onto it with hundreds of threads and forced it over the edge. It plummeted into the acidic depths below and the unavoidable death that awaited it. 

"You mute their quirks; we pave a way forward, got it?" he shouted for Rem and the others to hear. 

With a clear strategy in hand, it was time to progress beyond this acidic hellscape.

Thunder clapped and echoed, but no terrifying ruptures followed inside of this belly of acid. Raiden felt relieved as the battle would continue, the cracks in his armor visible. He needed to be careful not to use his quirk in melee combat, or else he would shatter the gauntlets and possible damage his armor further. With the lack of support in the Vigilante field, he was going to burn through money and contacts working with petty contractors and con artists.

"Fuck it, I'll do it myself." He spoke quietly as he looked at the damage in his armor and the juggernaut reeling from the thunderous roar. Gripping his hands, he cast aside his desire to learn how to fix his own armor and darted forward. As Mood Ring would strategize, she pointed out that he could, in fact, fire long distance. As he jumped and elbowed the juggernaut, the cracks of his armor were agitated but it did not break. "Don't worry, I may be a brute...but lightning knows no limits."

Following up with a body pivot into a knee, the juggernaut let out an incredibly embarrassing sound and fell into the acid. For the distance, he would need to amp up the voltage. Crossing his arms, he resumed his energy with the classic yellow lightning. Hot and bright, he would cast the illuminating spears across the battlefield. They would erupt with great explosions with the distant rat herders and other bordering nomu being struck one after one.

Unless they could absorb his quirk, he had the long-distance advantage. Raiden was a walking storm cloud of boundless bolts. "Mood Ring! Help me choose my targets while we press forward!" Running ahead, Raiden knew that he couldn't work alone. Still, he felt it as even Rui could make a friend. They seemed oddly excited, despite the circumstances of the war. Punching ahead, a bolt of lightning would slice through the air.

Residual static would electrify the acid lake, the body of pure energy spearing into a rat and erupting with the smell of burnt flesh as a hole was seared through. Despite his rust, the feeling of Raijin coming in full effect was giving him a rush he hadn't had in over a decade. Maybe there was something to be excited about in this raid.

[attr="class","bmsk"] in blackest night... If there was ever a person she's want to accidentally trip down a flight of stairs, it'd be Rui. The Mummy wasn't exactly earning any points with Jun as bat guy took the anchor from her, making sure that she was giving enough tether so that she wasn't suddenly whisked off her feet. Once Yusuke wrapped up the monsters she'd hit the brake, immediately moving her body to introduce tension into the chain and moving laterally to start sending the monsters over. Which was a lot harder than it looked; the problems with this strategy required both leverage and strength. Thankfully, leverage was easy to achieve, and even easier than most considering there was a harness sewn into her suit to allow her to put more body weight into it than normal. It didn't make up her sheer lack of strength, but every little bit helped. While she strained, sending the first four-armed abomination into the acid, she tried to keep her head on a swivel and looked out at the far said, calling out targets. A box of rats here, a science rat there. If enough suppressing fire could be made over there then maybe they didn't have to clear all the bridges. Maybe they could rush over to the other side without the need of the other villains. Maybe- She didn't see one of the nomu in time. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted a shadow, and judging by size and shape it was one of the big ones. She managed to duck the first blow, but the second nailed her right in the back. It was thankfully a glancing blow, though in the moment pain shot through her body. She skidded to a halt, almost falling into the depths below. What saved her was quick thinking, taking her other chain and flinging it towards the nomu and wrapping it around its leg. Hitting the retract button on both winches she managed to suspend herself over the acid and putting major tension on the chains. She was in a bind...and unfortunately the nomu on the near show took hold of the chain, putting even more strain on the system. She had to hope that Kei's manufacturing was tougher than the nomus, and that the one on shore pulled the ones on the bridge down first. The crackling of her radio gives a small distraction of the predicament she put herself in. Taking in a deep breath, she answers: "No, I'm not. I'm dangling some tenish meters above a lake of acid, and my only anchor points are monsters that reflect quirks. Please tell me Yaoyao is okay, I have a lot to worry about right now..." The thought of her best friend lying facedown somewhere bleeding out did nothing to ease her anxiety. She had to figure out a way to get out of this situation. In her human body, Lili will never be healthy in the way that Yaoyao is healthy. She tires quickly and needs some kind of mobility aid if she plans to go very far. She catches cold every time one of Yaoyao’s coworkers does, even if Yaoyao never catches it herself and washes her hands with more religious devotion than she shows to any actual deity. On bad days, Lili’s limbs still go numb or burn with pain.

But for all the chaos of current circumstances — for all the adrenaline, and the panic, and the danger, and the terror that would surely grip her were she human — somehow, she still finds a moment to feel relief.

What a blessing, to have this form of shadows and lavender, unbound by the earth’s gravity or any of the ailments that plague her frail, useless humanity. What a blessing, to be able to soar overhead of obstacles in her path, or even directly through them, with but a thought. What a blessing, to be useful. What a blessing, to be strong. What a blessing, to be able to make a difference — and to help the people she loves most dearly.

The first and most important order of business upon Lili’s arrival in the South Wing: to find, and save, Junsuina Kanjo. Lili soars beneath the bridges, and— there! Quickly, but carefully, she hovers at Jun’s side, arms outstretched toward her, cradling and then lifting her. “Yaoyao’s still stationed in the West, but - I’m here. Are you hurt? What do you need? Put me to use, I'll follow your lead.”

Speakers cracked to life once more with a staticky sound, a crackle akin to a failed mic check and then several tapping noises before Psychonaut's voice finally rang out once more. 

"Are you freaking kidding me? Those rats are still alive? Just kill them all already!"

Following his words the remaining rat nomu were all struck down one by one, some pushed off the bridges by the juggernauts and others taken out by a wide variety of attacks from deeper in the facility. A frighteningly wide array of them, in fact. 

"Wait, hold on a minute. Why are they on my collection of vintage superbridges? Was the main approach not good enough for them or someth-" A moment of silence like the calm before the storm appeared as Psychonaut paused. "WHO THE FUCK STOLE THE MAIN PATH AND WHAT IS THAT THING OVER THERE?!?!"

In the distance, far past the other side of the lake, It hung in the air ominously. A chill swept through the room at Its appearance, the red staff in Its hand seemingly remaining still. A Guardian Nomu.  

"Alright that's it, send in the big guns! I don't care what just toss the whole box of crayons at them!"

At his words four more Nomu floated into the area, each a different color. [Red], [White], [Yellow] and [Green]. They each hovered over the bridges and flew across the lake, straying from one bridge to the next in seemingly random patterns. At times they went together and at times they split up. One thing however remained consistent. Where they went opposition crumbled.

As a combatant with a sword swung at the Red one his sword seemed to bend around the Nomu, the destination of his strike remaining the same but the trajectory having changed enough that the Nomu was left unharmed. As the Red one floated past and seemingly through him the combatant's own body seemed to bend causing him to lose his footing and plunge towards the lake below, unharmed for now but heading for an imminent demise.

On another bridge a speedster carved a Juggernaut Nomu in half by running right through it and towards the White and Green pair. Once he got within a few meters the White one spoke. "Form remains consistent. Slips through gaps in atoms. Bulletproof Kevlar fabric suit." The 'speedster' had been analyzed entirely by the White Nomu by the time it reached the pair. He was so shaken that he hadn't even noticed the green glow hanging at a fixed point further in the air. When he reached them the first thing that he made contact with was the Green Nomu's hand. It was also the last. The green glow had shifted places with the pair of speedster and Nomu. With no footing to rely on the speedster fell towards the acid below while the Green one briefly floated in place before touching itself with its own hand and once more reappearing next to the White one.

Closer to the front the Yellow one raised its hand over a Juggernaut Nomu's shoulders and fired out a translucent shimmering cube. It continued on for twenty meters before vanishing. Where it went nothing remained. Bridge, intruder, Nomu and quirk alike had a large square hole in them. Even the Pro Hero Bulwark had been unable to stop its path. Dodging seemed to be the only way to avoid being disintegrated by the meter-wide energy cubes.

As the four wreaked havoc on the surroundings it was clear they would need to be dealt with fast lest the entire wing was wiped clean of interlopers. Perhaps some unlikely alliances could even the odds...?

Mod Note: Hi all! Until said otherwise, there is a buff due to the presence of the 'Guardian' in which, for Super Moves the drawbacks are recovered from quickly, which ultimately allows more liberal use of Super Moves (This will go live in the other threads at the same time as their next mod post so don't worry about losing it if you swap threads!)

The quirks possessed by the colorful Nomu, in addition to each possessing flight, are as follows:
Red: The space around it bends causing physical projectiles and energy alike to go around it.
White: Can recognize and identify anything coming within a specific radius of it.
Green: Creates an anchor point in space. Touching anything with its hand switches the location of it and the anchor. The Nomu can use this to instantly teleport itself as well.
Yellow: Fires cubic projectiles that disintegrate anything they touch on an atomic level. Unblockable but only move a set distance.

[attr="class","carvetext"]...south! Her brow furled as she took a look around. This place was gross; it was dark and yucky with dead rat things everywhere. Gross, gross, gross!

At that moment, she wanted nothing more than to leave. Let these commoners figure it out for themselves but...more money meant she was getting closer to rebuilding her lost torture. She was gonna ignore anyone, especially the stupid heroes who were always trying to get her in trouble!!

Then she spotted who she came to see - The Mummy. Using her 'Emotional Whiplash' she would shake out her arms and send out a few 'Red Pink' energy tendrils to latch onto the ceiling and pull herself towards the bat and her bestie . With a quick touch of Rui, she'd shout "I'm borrowing your stuff! Where's Redhair???" She was talking about Rui's henchwoman, Flamemane, but she spotted a redhead being carried by another person she didn't need to know about before Rui could elaborate. "Nevermind I got her!" She'd swing over, and when she got closer, she'd tap Jun on the face with her finger. "You owe me!! I won't charge your boss, but I'll be borrowing from you too!" Her voice trailed off as she began to fall towards the platform, now without Stellar's quirk.

She'd close her eyes as she hit the ground. This part was always so gross, and the crunch of her body on impact made her shiver. Mummy had a useful quirk, but how it worked was so nasty. She'd stand up, her limbs and neck-snapping back into place, and once she was sufficiently healed, it was back to the other place. Hopefully, no one got killed, or she'd have to steal the money The Gorgon owed her instead of getting it for helping! Still, she had managed to grab a good quirk instead of the turtle, and the over-the-top 35-carat ring that appeared on her finger was going to be more useful than she could have even hoped. Back through the portal to East!
