[attr="class","alpha"] [attr="class","beta"] Out of the corner of his eye Arc could some of the others moving against the dragon, but for a moment he was distracted as he realized the dude running at the beast was half naked. It wasn't until a flailing wing nearly sent him flying did he snap back to what he was doing. ~You going to be outdone by a naked Hero?~ Arc narrowed his eyes at Whisp's taunt and plunged both of his curved daggers into the Owl's back, crouching low and anchoring himself as best as he could. ~Less sass, more effort!~ Whisp only gave a low growl in reply before the two red constructs attached to Arc seemed to grow, wrapping over the Owl's shoulder and tightening around it's neck. As Arc swung his weight back and pulled down on his daggers, the construct around the Owl's neck formed a sharp hardened edge against it's throat and jerked backward with Arc's momentum. He wasn't sure if he could slice it deep enough to kill it, but his goal was merely to bring it out of the air and to the ground. Nevermind the fact that he was still on it's back, he was merely winging it at this point. ARC BISHOP 23 / HITMAN-HENCHMAN / VILLAIN / PANSEXUAL / BIROMANTIC APP Arc is like that one friend who is just barely holding it together yet always finds time to help his friends. He is loyal to a fault and doesn't care how he is treated, though he tends to be more instigative/sassy with other men, especially ones who intimidate him. With women however, he is more likely to fret like an anxious brother. Still, he is a ride-or-die that makes up for his lack of smarts with a mix of good instincts and straight up himbo-luck. On the opposite side, should you hurt someone he cares about or prove to be too cruel for him to ignore, he can be surprisingly cold and violent. Despite being a failure of a criminal in the morals department, he is still a trained killer. + Miss Independent [In Prog.]Empty, for now. [attr="class","alpha"] [attr="class","beta"] Arc snapped out of his thoughts and slowed as he approached the counter, recognizing a voice nearby, but not realizing exactly who it was right away. He knew a lot of people, some of them not exactly nice. Hell, some of them he owed money. So Instead, he simply ordered his drink and waited casually until it was ready. As he picked it up and took a sip, he turned in the direction of the earlier voice, and it was then that he looked up. ~It's Miss-Independent!~ For a brief moment Arc was confused at Whisp's words, but then it clicked. Holy shit it's the blind girl. Arc's eyes shot open as a jolt of realization hit him, but what might have been a gasp was quickly lost as he choked on his coffee. Shit! He crouched and dropped to one knee, placing his drink on the floor beside him in calm panic before covering his mouth and trying to forcefully stop himself from coughing loudly, almost instantly horrified at the idea of causing a scene in public. ~You are an embarrassment.~ ~Shut...up..~[newclass=.alpha]background-color:#444444;padding:20px;width:450px;[/newclass] [newclass=.beta]background-color:#ffffff;color:#444444;padding:20px;line-height:15px;text-align:justify;letter-spacing:2px;word-spacing:1px;[/newclass] Maisie,

[attr="class","alpha"] [attr="class","beta"] Arc strolled down the street without an actual destination in mind as he did from time to time, usually when he wasn't sure what to do next. His gaze was on the sky, and he squinted as the light stung his eyes, but they were distant as he sank into his thoughts. He was dressed casually today in a black t-shirt and washed-out grey jeans, partly because he was just out for a stroll, and partly because his combat gear was being repaired after a target turned out to know martial arts the night before. He felt battered and bruised and in desperate need for some caffeine, and a brief escape from his night-life. It wasn't long before he found himself standing outside of a cafe, and after a moment's pause he headed in to grab himself a treat. Of the things he put in his body, perhaps coffee was the least harmful poison he enjoyed. He was also a fan of the cafe scene and it's relaxing atmosphere. The world never seemed quite so bad when you were in a cafe. [attr="class","alpha"] [attr="class","beta"] Arc's gaze flicked up towards the card the woman held toward him, cringing inwardly at her kindness. Couldn't it have been a mean blind girl at least? He felt absolutely rotten, and was suddenly thankful she couldn't see whatever expression was on his face in that moment. He caught the card as she dropped it and watched her leave the alley, half worried for her despite not even knowing her, and half glad she was back in the light where she belonged. For a moment before she went out of sight, Arc was reminded of another girl but with white hair, however it was gone as fast as it came. "If I live to see tomorrow I'm going to have to make it up to that one." He spoke to no one in particular as he pocketed the card and pushed himself to his feet, but the hiss in his mind answered. ~If you want to do that, you better think of a way to make that money. Less moping, more doing.~ Whisp had a point. He couldn't exactly repay her if he was dead, now could he? Still, he couldn't bring himself to ask the girl for the money he needed by nightfall. He refused to be absolutely prideless. Nah, he'd find another way. This was the city of opportunity, after all. [attr="class","alpha"] [attr="class","beta"] Arc kept his hands up but watched her as if she were interesting to him, rather than threatening. ~If you get us shot, you better hope it's a headshot.~ He ignored Whisp's threat in the back of his mind and stepped to the side as she asked, his crimson gaze following her. "That was a hell of a shot." He mused, grinning as he glanced toward the ledge where she had shot from. Honestly he was impressed. As much as he hated killing, he respected skills regardless of what they were used for, and he could only dream of taking a shot like that. "So, you gonna kill me too..?" He looked back to the woman and raised an eyebrow at her, wondering if being a push-over with women had finally gotten him killed. Not that it really mattered. When killing was the only thing you were good for, it would be rather stupid to expect a long life. Granted, a bullet likely wouldn't kill him on impact because of Whisp. His problem was more of the fact that finding help wasn't exactly easy if you go down on a rooftop. Less so when said rooftop was just used to eliminate a rich guy, and the odds of being found by less-than-friendly people was pretty high. Oddly, that scared him more than being shot. [attr="class","alpha"] [attr="class","beta"] Arc shrank to the side and suddenly moved past the woman, taking care not to bump her, so that she was between him and the street. Frankly after this whole interaction he wanted nothing more than to curl up in a hole. "No.. uh, I'm sorry.." He bowed his head as he spoke, but then realized she couldn't see it anyway. "If you move away from my voice, you'll be back on the street.." He had to fight to keep his voice clear, cringing inwardly at himself. "Five steps.. I'm really sorry, I hope you have a.. better day."He turned away and leaned against the wall before sliding down to sit on the ground, his head dropping to rest on his knees. He was going to need to think of a new plan, he was too weak for this mugger shit. ~You are a failure as a criminal.~ ~I'm a failure as a human, actually. [attr="class","alpha"] [attr="class","beta"] ~You've gotta be shitting me.~ The glow of Whisp's influence died as Arc deadpanned at the woman in front of him, equally shocked and horrified as he realized she was blind. ~Holy fuck we're monsters.~ ~No, we're dead.~ Arc immediately deflated the tough-guy act and hesitated, suddenly unsure what to do. He couldn't even bail, abandoning a blind chick in an alley was nearly worse than robbing one. He was no saint, but he still had morals. He couldn't do it. "I... why are you alone?" As he finally spoke, he gently nudged the purse back towards her to show he didn't want it, then took a step back and looked at her with a stressed expression. "I get this isn't the worst area but like...shit." First he tried to rob her, now he was scolding her. He knew how idiotic that was, but he was also amazed this chick was still alive. If anyone knew just how dangerous this city was, it was trash like him. The idea of a blind chick wandering around alone frankly freaked him out.

[attr="class","alpha"] [attr="class","beta"] ~This is your fault, kid!~ Arc narrowed his eyes as the hiss sounded in his mind, it's weight heavier than usual as he ran along the rooftops. He licked the cut on his lip and tried to ignore the pull on his limbs, fighting against it as if he were a marionette fighting his strings. ~Piss off~ Arc slowed as he approached the edge of the building and peered down at the road bellow. He had a day to come up with the money, but that was fine. That was plenty of time. ~No, It's not. I should kill you before they do.~ Arc frowned as the hiss spat at him, feeling suddenly very, very tired. ~Well, what do you suggest then, dick-head?~As if in response, the pull in his mind strengthened and Arc felt his focus drifting sharply. His pupils began to glow as Whisp snatched the reins, and with a smirk Arc jumped off the edge of the building into the narrow alley bellow. ~If we need money, we take money. You're a VILLIAN, moron!~ Arc approached where the alley met the street and gave in to Whisp's influence, feeling himself sink deeper as they paused in the shadows. ~There, the well-dressed lass. Best she get a scare now than later, being so open... and I bet she has something of worth.~ Arc hesitated at the idea of scaring a woman, but Whisp didn't give him a choice. Before he knew it he had shot out his arm from the shadows and grabbed hold of her forearm as she stumbled in his direction from a collision, gently but firmly pulling her into the alley and out of sight of the street. As he released her he planted his arm on the wall to block the way back to the street with his body. "Drop anything you value less than your life."[newclass=.alpha]background-color:#444444;padding:20px;width:450px;[/newclass] [newclass=.beta]background-color:#ffffff;color:#444444;padding:20px;line-height:15px;text-align:justify;letter-spacing:2px;word-spacing:1px;[/newclass] [[OOC: Permission from Aysu to snatch her xD]]

[attr="class","alpha"] [attr="class","beta"] Arc watched the employee with an amused expression that was somewhere between a smile and a smirk, almost as if he were struggling not to laugh at the other man's expense. He could sympathize thanks to the part-time gig he used to have working as a server, so he figured the last thing the guy needed was getting laughed at by a punk, as funny as it may be. "Relax, I ain't a snitch." He reassured the guy as he wandered over to a display of chocolate-bars near the counter and looked them over, raising an eyebrow as the guy mentioned how loco his boss was. Frankly boss-man sounded insufferable. He snatched up two bars and approached the till before placing them on the counter and glancing curiously at the glove. Building things had never been in his cards, but he found it a cool skill regardless. "Why put up with that if you can build stuff like this?" He asked, pointing to the glove. "There's money in that kinda stuff." He couldn't understand working as a wage-slave if there were other options, but then again it was still better than his job, morally at least. He fished his wallet out of his back-pocket and took out cash before holding it out to Kozue, smirking as he complimented his music. "Thanks, and likewise," Arc's gaze shifted to the speaker set up before his smirk once more seemed to barely restrain a laugh. "Nice dancing, by the way..." [attr="class","alpha"] [attr="class","beta"] A lean figure ran lightly across the rooftops like a fleeting shadow in the night, hurtling itself over the gaps between buildings with reckless abandon. Fitted black combat gear helped him blend into the darkness, paired with a wide hood that obscured his face, and more importantly, the locks of bright white hair that would have otherwise given his presence away immediately to prying eyes. Behind the figure was what seemed like two tails tipped with clawed hands, occasionally swinging ahead to grab a ledge and propel the man up and over onto the next roof whenever he jumped short of his goal or the next roof proved too high. As Arc neared the area he would find his target in he slowed his headlong approach and began to creep along with more care, ducking low in the shadows and avoiding the edges where he might be seen from an upper-floor window. His current job was an unusual one, but he took it just as seriously as any other, more so because of his clients than the lack-luster pay they could offer him for it. In reality the money they offered would only tide him over for a day or two at best, but he'd always been a push-over for women and they knew it. Arc had a few contacts scattered throughout the city that tossed him jobs here and there or sent stray clients his way. His current clients had been strays, just three normies working in the entertainment district, but the fact that three different women wanted the same man killed had piqued his curiosity. Perhaps that had been his mistake, after all he was no vigilante, but after being fed drinks and listening to their stories he had soon found himself wanting the guy to bite it, too. He had never been a fan of pretentious pricks, less so when they left a trail of misery and broken hopes. ~Wait..~ Whisp's warning snapped him from his thoughts as he paused and ducked lower in the darkness, remaining still as he listened for a few moments before he slowly peeked over the low wall along the edge of his building's roof. On the next building over he could make out another figure in the night, but it was too dark for him to get a good look at them or even determine if it was a man or woman. He could however make out the glint of the rifle trained over the lip of the roof, and as he followed it's direction he quickly realized he now had a problem, emphasized by Whisp's hiss in his mind. ~They're stealing our pray!~ Less concerned with who got the target as Whisp was, Arc slipped behind the low wall and crept like a cat in the opposite direction the figure was facing, quickly having Wisp pull him over the gap between their buildings and onto the opposite side. He was making his way slowly toward the figure from behind, moreso out of curiosity and mischeviousness than any malicious intentions, when he heard the muted sound of the gun go off and paused. Judging by the quiet crackling responce of the person's coms he figured it was safe to assume his Target had been offically snatched out from under him, and he gave a brief moment of silence for his wallet before shifting to move once more, but that was when his luck abruptly ran out. Suddenly, he found himself looking down the barrel of the rifle. ~Oh PERFECT, a bitch with a gun!~ Arc blinked and realized Whisp was right, the figure on the rooftop was indeed a woman now that he was closer and she was facing him, but if anything that made him feel like this was an even worse position to be in. "Woah woah," Arc kept his voice soft and light, raising his hands up beside his head with his palms out toward her as he carefully stepped to the side out of the shadows and into what dismal light there was on the rooftop. "Easy there, I mean no harm." He leaned his head back and let his hood fall off to reveal his face, giving her an apologetic smile despite the loaded gun pointed at him. "If he's dead that's good enough for me, promise. All yours. The creep ain't worth it anyway." [attr="class","alpha"] [attr="class","beta"] As the Salamanders began to recede and draw away from him, Arc ignored the booming voice and narrowed his eyes skeptically, watching the lizards swarm back towards the castle away from the attacking parties they wanted to stop. ~I can see smoke, you alright thinking that much..?~ He ignored Whisp's sarcastic hiss in his head as he watched the scene that unfolded before him, his eyes lighting up as he found himself staring upward at a real-life DRAGON. He was so enthralled by the sight that he didn't move at first despite his proximity to immediate danger, until the red claws suddenly slammed into the ground and launched him out of the way of the dragon's path and back into the air. ~DO. NOT.~ A furious warning screeched in his mind but Arc only frowned, he hated being yanked away from such an opportunity... but he had little time to argue before his world was suddenly flipped upside-down. He had been airborne as the Owl gave a flap of it's giant wings, and before he could reach something for Whisp to grab he was suddenly torn at by a massive gale and flung off-coarse with a yelp of surprise. He tumbled through the air and braced for impact, but was equally surprised and relieved when he was caught by what looked like a spider-web of.. energy? Honestly he had no clue, but it was unimportant. He recovered quickly and poked at the web for a moment before cracking a smirk and shifting into a crouched position reminiscent of a cat about to pounce. During his rough landing on the web his hood had slipped off, but he was too preoccupied with his target to care as the two red constructs shot behind him through the holes in the webbing and grabbed hold of the rough floor. As the claws gripped the cracks in the floor and struggled to pull Arc backwards into the Web, essentially turning the web into a large sling-shot, he glanced over to the woman also in the web and flashed her a smile. "Hold on tight, Sunshine! I'm commandeering this ride for a moment~" He called out his warning to Stellar and gave her a humored salute a moment before the clawed constructs let go of the ground and gravity took over, launching Arc forward into the air in the direction of the Owl. He was fully aware this was awful timing to do so, the pink chick's gunfire hadn't escaped his attention, but he figured what was a bad moment for him had to be an even worse moment for the Owl, and perhaps the perfect distraction. As he shot through the air he brought his arms up over his head locked his hands behind his head, pointing his elbows forward as the wind clawed at him to try and reduce drag as well as protect his head somewhat as he entered the range of pinky's turret. As he sailed just above the Owl he released his head and twisted in the air to face it's back, his two constructs shooting forward to try and snake around it's wings in an attempt to bind them as well as pull Arc onto it's back like a human burr. Should he succeed, Arc planned to use his constructs to try and pull the wings back, looping Whisp around them to use their own strength against them and secure them. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Sum:-Got blown out of the air by Owl and into Stellar's Web -Used said web to sling-shot himself back at Owl after calling a warning to Stellar -Attempting to bind the Owl's wings from it's back [newclass=.alpha]background-color:#444444;padding:20px;width:450px;[/newclass] [newclass=.beta]background-color:#ffffff;color:#444444;padding:20px;line-height:15px;text-align:justify;letter-spacing:2px;word-spacing:1px;[/newclass]

[attr="class","alpha"] [attr="class","beta"] "Cause I'm a bitch~" High above the streets on the roof of a nearby building a figure was skipping along the edge carelessly, singing along to the electropop blasting from a pair of bulky silver headphones hanging around his neck. "Get in loser for the.. JOYRIDE~" As the song ended, Arc spun on his heel with his back to the edge and tossed his arms out to either side. Closing his eyes, he leaned back and felt the pull of gravity and empty space bellow, followed by the whoosh of wind as he let himself fall. He dropped through the air and twisted his body like a cat until he was looking down at the ground as it rushed up to meet him, but the emotion on his face was far from what you would call fear. Rather, his crimson eyes seemed to almost glow with excitement and a wide grin was plastered to his face as he fell. As he came within seconds of hitting the sidewalk, two red wing-like constructs shot out from his lower back and slammed into the ground to catch him midair. However it was so last-minute that as he jerked to a stop, Arc's head snapped forward and collided with the sidewalk. Albeit not as hard as he would have without the wings catching him, it was still hard enough that for a moment, not a single thought would form in his head. The wings then dropped him onto his stomach and after a moment he slowly got to his feet with a grunt. "You're an absolute dickhead, you know that?" Arc hissed under his breath and touched his forehead gingerly, scowling as it came away bloody. Granted, it wasn't enough that his bangs wouldn't hide it, but that wasn't the point. ~Be grateful, the only reason you're not braindead by now is because I don't want to be trapped in a hospital bed.~ A hiss echoed through his mind as one of the wings stretched up to slap him across the back of the head hard enough to make him stumble. ~Not that you have much brain to begin with...~Arc swiped the edge of his shirt over his forehead and quickly fixed his bangs before sighing and deciding to just leave it at that. He was too tired to argue with Whisp today, and now he had to deal with a ringing in his ears to top it all off. He gave his head a shake to try and clear it a little before adjusting his headphones and heading up the sidewalk in search of something sweet, the red wings seeming to retract under the back of his shirt and vanish from sight as he paused outside of a convenience store window. From this angle he could see the man behind the counter inside, and an amused smirk appeared on Arc's face as the man struck a pose, likely thinking he was alone. "Hah, cute." Arc chuckled and headed into the store with a skip in his step, raising his eyebrow as his ears picked up a rush of movement from the direction of the counter. He pulled his gaze from the shelf of sweets as he passed and looked up towards the till when he heard the usual wage-slave greeting, but then he slowed to a stop, tilting his head to the side slightly and regarding the other man with a look that was half amusement, half really?. "You must be so glad I'm not your boss, eh?"[newclass=.alpha]background-color:#444444;padding:20px;width:450px;[/newclass] [newclass=.beta]background-color:#ffffff;color:#000000;padding:20px;line-height:15px;text-align:justify;letter-spacing:2px;word-spacing:1px;[/newclass] Kozue Yoshi ,

[attr="class","alpha"] [attr="class","beta"] As the fighting raged on through the room a portal flashed into existence at the entrance point behind the Heroes and Students. Except... it wasn't one of theirs. A figure in black combat-gear slipped through to land lightly on his feet and glance around. A black hood pulled over his head obscured most of his features, revealing little more than white hair and a fanged grin as he shot forward straight into the fray only moments after appearing. He ran low as he approached the salamanders and withdrew two long daggers from his sleeves, their blades curved sharply as if to resemble crescent moons, before bringing them up in front of his face and chest as if preparing to strike. However as he reached them, two red wing-like constructs shot out from his lower back and slammed into the ground on either side of him as he suddenly jumped, flinging him high into the air over the salamanders instead. With a kick of his leg the man twisted in the air like a gymnast, his hidden gaze locked onto an owl as he sailed over it and lashed out with both blades aimed at it's back and neck. As he fell back towards the ground his 'wings' shifted into what appeared closer to two clawed hands, their palms planting firmly on the ground to catch him like an extra pair of arms, leaving him suspended a few feet from the ground for a moment before he pitched forward and dropped back onto his feet midway to the gate. Almost as soon as his feet touched the ground the salamanders nearest him veered towards him, but they were met with heavy swipes of the red clawed hands as the man crouched low and struck out around himself with the two constructs, seemingly unworried about his rather risky position.
