Freja felt an awestruck and slightly nervous smile creep up on her face as Helmet just popped some robots like she was shooting at tin cans. Was this the same girl she had tried to sass earlier? Hero school really attracted the most scary type of people. These two quirked soon-to-be students, Akagi and Helmet, they probably didn't realize it, but to someone like Freja they looked like monsters. She blinked her eyes, catching the device that was thrown to her and giving it a lookover before looking back up at Helmet. ''Y-Yeah cool thanks!!'' She definitely appreciated the sentiment. No worse way to go down than in a friendly fire incident.

Welp. There goes Akagi. Probably best to follow his lead so she didn't end up slowing her team down.

She would have grimaced if she saw the kinds of blows Akagi were taking, of course the guy was fine given his quirk, but that didn't make them look any less devastating. Unfortunately for her, she had quickly gotten tied up in her own robomonkey trouble, not too far from the team tank. ''This way, this way!'' She motioned for a few civilians to run behind her and continue on back towards Helmet. In the process, Freja could draw the attention from the robomonkey that was chasing her group of civilians, dodging one of its swings by rolling behind a car and using it as cover. Then, rolling back out she would hit the monkey in the ankle, causing it to stagger for just a moment so that she could smash it in the head over and over and over again. Panting, already exhausted she looked over to Akagi. ''..Fine! Saved some people, but these robots are something else. Do we know how many are left?'' She poked the one she had just beaten with the tip of her bat, causing it to topple over onto its back.

''Basically, you're on your way to becoming some kind of survival expert.'' She smiled, teasing lightly. ''Am I hyping myself up too much now?'' She chuckled, rubbing the back of her neck with one hand. Never! She was at least a decent cook! ''Expect perfectly perfect!'' She flashed a thumbs up.

''I-It's not even remotely fair!'' But of course, combat really wasn't ever fair. Especially not if you were a hero. Were you going to face off against one bad guy, or five? There really was no way to tell, or ensure fairness on the battlefield. You know what enemies also wouldn't expect on the battlefield? A sudden tackle from an armed enemy! Well, in this case it was more like a tackle hug. Was it an effective method of attack? Not really, but it got the job done! Tumbling down on top of him, Freja quickly pushed herself up into a sitting position, blushing ever so slightly at the sudden close proximity to Raito. If anyone was watching them, how could it be misconstrued?!

''You didn't?'' She smiled, feeling a little less embarrassed about the simplicity behind her counterattack. ''What? N-No way! I was struggling the entire way through, that was totally dumb luck! You're so fast I had a hard time even following you.'' She just couldn't walk away from this training session saying she had gotten the better of him, not when he was so talented and her only successful attack basically abandoned all that she knew about blunt weapon fighting. ''I guess I'm kind of full of surprises, though!'' She looked down at the ground, scratching the back of her head as the red stayed in her cheeks. If only Raito knew. Knew that Freja actually wasn't a girl. Could she tell him? Would he see her differently because of it? ''So! Uh, how about that lunch you prepared? I'd say you bested me today and leave it at that!'' She smiled, at best she was willing to concede and end it in a draw.

Freja watched for a few seconds in complete awe at how casually Rei was reacting to being threatened by the stalker. Maybe he had no reason to be afraid like she was because he didn't know what the stalker's quirk did yet, but still, to answer a villain with that lack of caring? It was pretty cool. Crap! She was getting distracted, and if she let herself get distracted she was going to die here. ''Never focus on your enemy, look at your surroundings or you'll die.'' She muttered to herself, finally finding and grabbing a wooden stick. It was a bit thin for her liking, but a blunt weapon is a blunt weapon in a pinch.

''No. You've witnessed my power so now you must die too. First, I'll take over your mind and make you kill her, then, you'll kill yourself.'' The stalker said confidently, meanwhile Freja was scrambling to get over to him in time, eventually settling for scoping a palm-sized rock up off the ground. Right as the stalker was reaching for Rei's head, Freja tossed it as hard as she could, the rock smacking the stalker across the hand causing him to recoil, and for Freja to get tackled by the quirk-controlled mannequin heads moments later, sending her tumbling to the ground once more. ''Kamiya!'' She heaved, looking up at Rei. ''Why aren't you running? Get out of here he's going to kill you!'' She didn't care how cool the guy on the bench was, what was the point of any of this if he died? If he ran to live and tell about it, he could come back to this park bench any other day of the week. ''H-He's too strong!'' She got back up to her feet and whacked one of the mannequin heads this time, sending it crashing into the ground. ''I'm quirkless! Don't rely on me!'' She looked over her shoulder, sneering at Rei. She was too weak to look after him. Useless without any superpower to speak of.

Rei Ijuin

Freja looked over, ready to apologize to whoever it was that told her she needed to go to class. A teacher? Faculty? No, ultimately it was just another student. The fact that she knew her name made it slightly more alarming. A bully? But Freja didn't recognize her. ''There's no point. The class I'm in sucks right now.'' She shrugged, completely apathetic to her circumstances. She looked down at her hand when Thea mentioned the smoking, was her habits really that obvious? ''I'm trying to quit.'' She looked back at Thea, furrowing her brow a bit at the pantomime. ''Do you smoke? No wait, who are you again?'' She seemed familiar somehow. ''Bomb class?'' Freja blurted out, seeming to remember having seen Thea among the crowd. Just another one of those students Freja had silently hoped she wouldn't have to go up against.

She blinked her eyes, looking at Thea's hand before glancing down at her bat. ''This thing? Not really.'' She hoisted the bat up so that it rested over one shoulder. ''My skills with a weapon is basically all I have, this is like an extension of me. In a way, you could call this my quirk. It's no different from someone who can shoot lasers out of their eyes or whatever. Not that I expect people with superpowers to understand.'' Yikes, she was definitely coming across as more angsty than she intended, but it wasn't like she had had a good day up until this point.

''Wait a minute.'' She narrowed her eyes at Thea as it finally dawned on her, at the speed of sloth. ''Aren't you supposed to be in class?'' She smirked, pointing back at Thea.

Thea

Of all the turns her day could have taken when she went out to get sushi, this had to rank up there as one of the most unexpected. She had been well on her way when she saw something of a criminal encounter go down. Big scary guy threatening those weaker than him, the kind of situation that has happened a million times before. She didn't know why but she had been compelled to step in, despite knowing she was a weakling, there was something about seeing the people around him, how scared they were for their lives... Freja knew just how precious a life was too, given she had already lost hers once. Armed with a bat, she had gone to confront the big guy.

Which was how she found herself in her current situation, sailing through the air and crashing through the window to the store, the glass shattering into a million pieces as she tumbled onto the hard sidewalk, the grip on her bat almost slipping. She was panting, adrenaline pumping through her body like crazy as she slowly picked herself up, one eye obscured by the blood that rushed down the top of her head to cloud it. ''W-What the hell kinda quirk..'' She coughed, using her bat as support as she pushed herself up to her feet. She had swung at the villain. Multiple times in fact and to what effect? Not. A. Single. Scratch. Not a dent, no 'ow' or even grunt of pain from the villain. She was totally outclassed, or... Going about it the wrong way. Maybe she should have aimed low and attacked his ankles or something?

One thing was for sure, no matter what she couldn't run now, not when lives were at stake. Although, she had to admit, she could really do with an actual pro hero showing up right about now. She grimaced as she put her sleeve up to her head to wipe some of the blood away. Jeez, that was a LOT of blood. ''Wh-What are you still doing in there? Think I'm done with you?!'' She called out to the villain, a vain attempt at taunting him to come out and meet her on the street, but why would he? He sat on all the hostages, right? Maybe if she was lucky he would lose his temper like those big dumb bruisers always do in hero comics. She was scared, absolutely terrified, but she would rather be the focus of his ire than it being some innocent civilians.
