[attr="class","likedoinfo"]Crime never sleeps nor can those who face it. A momentary lack in vigilance can have dire consequences. To prepare the future heroes of Tokyo UAU is hosting a large scale hostage rescue simulation. Students from all years will need to cooperate to ensure a good ending can be reached and a brighter tomorrow achieved.
Welcome to the Hostage Rescue Simulation! This will be the first (but hopefully not the last) mini-arc, an experimental new way of organizing more complex self-contained stories and plots. The Hostage Rescue Simulation will take place over the course of three threads: Entry, Hostage Rescue and Capture the Perpetrator. Entry will last three rounds, Hostage Rescue will last four rounds and Capture the Perpetrator will last three rounds.
Sign-ups for each thread are separate and you can either sign up for one, two or all three of the threads. Should you have multiple hero students you can sign up with different characters for each of the threads however bear in mind only one character per player can be signed up for each thread type.The goal of splitting the simulation up into separate threads each with a single objective is to prevent stalling when moving from one to the other and to ensure each part of the mini-arc is completed in a timely manner. - Entry - A large amount of hostages have been captured by a dastardly group of villains. Their location has been discovered and it is up to you to get into their base. As you near the facility one of the patrols spots your group and rings the alarm. Act quick or fail. The Entry mission will begin on 31/03/2024 and conclude on 21/04/2024
- Hostage Rescue - Inside of the facility hostages are held captive. Neutralize the guards without harming the captives to succeed. But be quick, for every moment you delay can cause complications... The Hostage Rescue mission will begin on 21/04/2024 and conclude on 19/05/2024
- Capture the Perpetrator - It is time! The mastermind behind the operation has been revealed and must be captured so they can be brought to justice. Beware, heroes. For not all may be as it seems. The Capture the Perpetrator mission will begin on 19/05/2024 and conclude on 09/06/2024
