Well compared to some of her other subjects May definitely was a lot more informed of her own capabilities or at the very least VERY eager to share as much as she could. A small smile crept onto her face as she jotted down quick notes as May continued to explain. She was very aware that this information she had provided was likely not originating from her, having been monitored like that for years likely meant that her biology was thoroughly studied. Even so, this wasn't the exact purpose of her test but it did contextualize a lot of the readings she was getting. Her eyes flicked back and forth between the vital signs and May creating her arrow. Almost to the second, her vitals began to give readings that were all over the place. She leaned in closer to her computer, focusing on two of the readings she was getting above all else. Her body temperature lowered slightly and yet her blood oxygen skyrocketed to 120%. They seemed intrinsically connected within May, but what made it even more strange was that there wasn't scientific evidence linking these two in your average human. At least not from any of the thousands of papers she read on those two respectively. The rest of her vitals while concerning wasn't out of the ordinary for quirk usage, mostly something you'd see if Mutation and Transformation Class quirks. There was always a little bit of distress placed on the body when doing anything with quirks being the penultimate version of this.

There was something she was interested in trying. "Thank you May, you've been very helpful. I'm going to supply some additional variables to get more data. Standby!" the intercom clicked off as Iphi reached down and opened one of the drawers adjacent to the console and pulled out a small tablet. Luckily for her, this facility was used for all different kinds of research and they had a stacked inventory of various equipment. She had scrolled through the inventory and there were two variables she wanted to introduce. She press a separate intercom and spoke into it "Please send Item 236 and Item 86A-Fast Release." the intercom chimed back and shortly after the wall in the room would open up with a tray that had a small pill on one end and a small device with prongs attached to it. She picked up the tray and entered the room "So, for the second phase I'll need you to ingest this pill. It's a fast-release energy stimulant. Think of it like hyper-focused caffeine but for every function in your body." she held the tray with one hand and handed her the pill "I would like you to take this and then perform the same actions as before. The same amount of energy." she then took her free hand and pointed to the pronged device "This is to monitor cell degradation. It might pinch but you're going to place it on the hand you use to fire the bow. Don't put it on yet" she placed the tray down on the floor next to her "I'll tell you when." she gave her a reassuring smile before exiting the room and taking her seat back at the console.

Leveraging as many connections as she could, Iphi was set up in a remote facility with some of the most advanced equipment. She was there because she wanted to conduct some live research on recreating the methods in which quirks operated and making support equipment for those like herself with less of a ‘traditional’ quirk. Sure, there had been plenty of research into the application of equipment to facilitate quirk usage with heroes and villains popping up over the last few decades with a wide variety of quirks, some similar to what one would expect from a comic book superhero and others swung wildly in either direction from being very mundane to completely uncontrollable. She even knew some people personally who were actively researching the potential to extract the quirk factor to see if it could be applied to other people or even inanimate things! Truly fascinating stuff.

The idea to conduct this study in this originated from a question posed by a student in a class she was subbing. ‘Why can’t we make gear that could work like our quirks?” It was truly one of the few times in recent years she was completely caught off guard, having spent a long time sorting through the well of a brain she had for either an example or any studies actively being conducted before ultimately coming up with nothing. Even though she likely hadn’t been the only person to ever think of this she did have the means to put it into practice. So through a combination of the school's network and navigating the hero network she put a word out

Looking for willing test subjects to demonstrate and explain the functions of their quirk in a controlled environment.

At the predetermined place deep in the heart of Tokyo, she waited in the control room for anyone who chose to accept this offer, sitting at a console in front of a glass window where the person, once they entered the room and greeted her, would end up to conduct the tests.

This next appointment she had didn't come from UAU or even from the network that connected heroes. This came in through the private channel, the one she had created to protect the anonymity of some of the vigilantes she had offered this research potential as well. This individual didn't give any other information besides a general desire to participate, which was...questionable in nature. However, she was willing to take a gamble for valuable data and she knew that being in such a high-tech facility someone would have to be real stupid. Just in case she had some of the staff on standby in case things got rowdy.

"Ah so THIS is why the professor advocated for him" she thought to herself, staring intently at Sebastian demostrated what would normally be seen as impossible. Her eyes darted back and forth between the station monitoring the vitals and the actual application of his quirk in real-time. His actual vitals didn't fluctuate at all besides the smallest upward tick that came with all movement, no matter how small or simple it was. She moved on to the brain activity from the past few seconds replaying the detection of neurons and that is where she found something unusual. It wasn't a chemical response or activation similar to how an animal with venom would employ that into their bite or spray it out instead of the part of the brain linked to creativity lit up like a Christmas tree. She hadn't seen many quirks of this caliber it was...was he forcing his will into reality to change the properties?

"Thank you, Sebastian. I'm going to move onto part two, standby." she pressed a button on the console which opened up, revealing holes that were shaped like gloves. She placed her hand inside which caused the ceiling of the room to open up and two large hands came down from the ceiling. She used these to press against the trampoline to see just how far it would stretch. He really did turn the air into having elastic properties.

"Do you have a weight limit?" she took the air and pinched it between her fingers, stretching it as far as it could go until it rebounded on itself. "Also what sensation do you feel and what are you visualizing in your mind when you apply your quirk?" she would need to throw Sebastian into a live fire test shortly but she didn't want to scare him off just yet. Not while there is valuable data to collect.

The wait for her test subject soon eclipsed the promised time. Normally in a situation like this, she would just follow up with a message or phone call but the professor did mention some...eccentricities with this particular student. So against her better judgment, she decided to extend the timeline and pushed her next meeting further out to compensate for him. Something she may regret depending on how cooperative he would ultimately ends up being.

After a few more minutes the door flew open and Sebastian made his appearance known. Seemed like the professor was right on his money with this one, he immediately reminded her of some of her more "strong-willed" classmates when she attended UAU. Standing up from her seat, clipboard in hand she approached him to greet him properly "Good Afternoon. My name is Iphigenia Pavlina but please call me Iphi." she extended a hand to shake while her brain hopped into processing mode "Slightly older than your standard freshman I estimate 20-21 years of age. 5'11. With his frame, I would approximate 170 lbs. White hair looks natural and not dyed, perhaps a mutation." in the split second she had greeted him she was able to intake that much information and mentally stored it in a 'file' where she would put the rest of the information she would learn about him.

"I'm sure you're eager to indulge yourself in the food that is being provided. I do require testing prior to eating so as to eliminate any variables when it comes to your quirk." she took a few steps toward the door to the testing chamber and opened it. "In the center of this room, you will find a small headpiece and wrist wraps. These are to monitor your vitals and brain activity during the test." she pointed to the window and then her own workstation "I will be outside of the room monitoring and taking notes. If you have any questions now is the time to ask, but if not I ask that you please enter and explain to me in as much detail as possible how your quirk functions." she took her seat, giving a small smile "And thank you for your cooperation, Sebastian."

'May Twenty First'...wait did she read that right? There were a lot of unusual-sounding names but it felt a bit cruel to have your kid be named after a date. Iphi squinted a bit as she read the name there was a lot of data in her brain on May 21st, seeing as she had lived through 28 of them in her lifetime alone, but there was something about this that had stuck out. She then remembered an article she read late at night years ago about a girl who was in stasis for a quarter of a decade. "I'll have to ask her that when she gets here." differently the most interesting test subject so far.

'Eiji Harada' was a name she wasn't familiar with. Perhaps a civilian or maybe one of the vigilantes was brave enough to offer themselves up to the study? Either way, she was intrigued and would make a mental note to figure out how why he would be interested in participating.
