sling shot What...? Those vibrant pink optics rest upon the woman who sounded like she was accusing the Ronin guy of underhandedly arranging some sort of trap. Softly exhaling through her nose like a frustrated cat, she understood the caution... ...she got that much. Though it just seemed outright cruel to accuse the guy of something like that! "Chill, I gotta chill...it's probably not as malicious as it sounds...no one with those kinda intentions would be here...would they?", thinking those words to herself, the mechanic on wheels tried not to let it fester. Which it helped when Ghouligan spoke up again to help drag her mind from the trenches of wanting to start speaking up in the defense of someone who seemed like they were just here to help. Well...for now anyway. Since it seemed like even the one who wrangled them together was aware someone could be a snake in the grass, yet he was sure to let the whole ass group know he had the fuck around and find out chart ready. Something this twink tank KNEW wasn't all bark, especially after being his impromptu ally to take down Ryuu...rest the poor guy's soul. But thing is, she knew he wasn't full of it and trusted he'd do all he could to keep them safe. Tucking away the cards with forms of contact, whether or not anyone took one didn't bug her at all, though she couldn't help but get excited like a happy puppy about to go out for walkies! SOMEONE WANTED TO WORK WITH HER OF THEIR OWN FREE WILL! Leaning forward towards Warper, excitedly nodding a couple of times before clasping her hands together, "OHMIGOSH I WOULD LOVE TO!" Those excited words finished off with a squeal as she excitedly shuffled her wheeled feet, very clearly unable to contain her excitement at the moment. This was the first time someone voluntarily wanted to join her for anything in like...a....really long time! Sure, part of that made her a little sad, but she wasn't about to fall apart over it. No, she'd let bad habits kick in and tuck that pang of sadness right on into a dark corner, BEGONE WITH YOU, NEGATIVE EMOTIONS! Eagerly looking around, she parted her hands and clapped at the thought of a tech-team potentially forming, HOW EXCITING! "Yeah! The more the merrier!" Turning her head toward the woman who dodged the introduction train to ride the suspicion express, it seemed like she knew quite a bit about the ENKI device thing... "Like YOU! Wanna join the tech-team?! You seem to know a bunch!" ONCE AGAIN, JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS IN A SINGLE BOUND, IT WAS GADGET! That lady didn't even say yes or no, but she seemed to know a lil somethin' somethin'... Then she snapped her fingers and pointed up to herself with both fingers, "RIGHT UM! I'm totally in!" Humming softly, she lightly twirled her fingers in the air, "Aaaaand I'll help ya if things go down the crapper too! I don't thiiiiink anyone here is out to be a backstabber or somethin', but ya know!" Shrugging with a bright smile that matched her chipper tone, she plopped her hands upon her hips. One resting upon the hilt of her gun which was more like a taser, but it didn't seem like there was an ounce of threat in the way she held herself. "Oh! Um! I'll also take on any volunteers who wanna help me look for supplies n' stuff! I plan to scout around for things we can use, places we can safely hunker down in a pinch n' all that! I don't mind doin' that alone, but..."Taking in a deep breath before letting out a sigh, her smile dimmed ever so slightly, "...safety in numbers n' covering more ground. Definitely don't feel like fuckin' around to find out what happens if I get outnumbered..." Leaning back a bit, she reached up to rub the back of her head with a nervous laugh, "...though I plan on doing research n' making sure it's areas I can handle solo if I'm on my own with that. Erm...w-well...as much research as one can do, anyway! H-heh!" Oh yes, she was certainly familiar with that, unplanned surprises proving that research only does so much...boy was she all too familiar with that song and dance. sling shot Okay. Full-disclosure... Offering a thumbs up and a broken smile riddled with hope despite the traces of despair. ...she surprised herself, too. It wasn't exactly something she wasn't totally sure what the outcome would be, but that didn't stop her from making the effort to try. "Same, man..." Letting out a little cough, beginning to pluck away at some broken glass out of her flesh near her eyes so it wouldn't get into em'. It didn't break too badly, but it was still enough to be inconvenient... Nothing like the needles. Although the tiger fella offered her help, he seemed to be in bad shape and...not like she was in much shape to help him either. Doing what she could in the moment to make it seem like she was okay enough to move on her own. Forcing on a smile and dismissively fanning her hand slowly...the moment he turned his back, she winced while trying to push forward. No need to drag someone down... ...though the pool guy seemed to be in a lot better condition to help and when he offered his shoulder? She leaned against him when she nearly lost complete balance, all while scooting along on her wheels. Part of her couldn't help but wonder if this was how old people felt, like when their body didn't cooperate with em' anymore and didn't want to move much? "Thanks.." Man, it's a good thing her equipment crapped out with the wheels being left out on her boots, otherwise she'd probably have to get carried like a sack of potatoes or something! ...though she couldn't help but look over her shoulder and wonder what would happen. The day was saved, but there was a chance whoever had to clean it up would try to find out how it died... ...that...would be a bridge to cross later if it ever came up, which she really hoped it wouldn't. It could have been so much worse and it wasn't, so hopefully that's how the situation is perceived from the outside looking in. Once they got there and the tiger fellow fussed with the door after getting it open, for a moment, she couldn't help but snort out a little chuckle, "Whaddaya mean they didn't change it, ya work here, don'cha?" With her secondary quirk of jumping to conclusions in a single bound, the dash of airheadedness shining through like the sun on a bright day, that is why he knew the code, right? ...cause he worked there, right? Not because he was fired and these ding dongs couldn't be arsed to change the code...right? ....riiiiiiiiiiiight? Well uh...sweeping that thought under the rug for now, she very carefully set her busted launcher down upon a table, took a seat and began unstrapping her boots. Though there were a few scrapes all over her and a few sharp debris poking out of her skin...it was more like a mild inconvenience. Pinching, twisting and gently patting the spots upon her body that seemed a bit more punctured. Though she was about to break the silence, offer a suggestion that they give the departed a moment of silence...something... ...the tiger guy's words cut the air like a knife from the moment he spoke. He knew the monster---the deceased man's name. They knew each other... ...he tried to help him like she tried to help her sibling who was always getting wrapped up in trouble. Feeling the words get caught in her throat, there were things she wanted to say, try to offer the poor guy some solace...something, but no. It was like taking pills without water, struggling to follow through. No one wanted to hear oh I'm so sorry in times like these, it was like trying to slap a band-aid on a gaping wound. The pain was there and although she was a bit of an airhead, that was something she wasn't blind to... Though she couldn't help but frown when he subtly lumped himself into the pile of bastards who wouldn't be missed. It was...always sad to hear people think of themselves like that. Resting her hands upon her knees, gently gripping them as she let it stew for a moment as the other guy spoke up. Turning her bright, pink optics towards him...he...had a point. Well they both did, it had to be done and since Ryuu got mixed up in the wrong crowd, their shitty influence could have driven him to become a more violent sort with his quirk. Hell, if someone who knew him personally felt that was the only way...then it couldn't be denied. Plus...there really was that chance they couldn't have handled things more peacefully, more people could have died... they all could have died. It was a tough, painful truth to accept...it was valid. Although she despised murder as the solution, it was something she couldn't be mad at. It wasn't something that was done for sport of fun like some shitty people out there do, but because there was a dangerous individual hurting others who wouldn't stop. This would haunt her for a while....but that's okay as long as she reminded herself it could be so much worse. The right thing to do was the wrong thing to do, but it was what saved more people... "...yeah I...uh...I'm gonna be real with you guys, murder isn't okay and it will never be...but..." Taking off her gloves to set it on her boots, there were a few burns from the metal plates heating against her skin. Taking in a deep breath before heavy sigh passed her lips, "...it's true, there are folks out there who can't be stopped otherwise...like...Ryuu..." Furrowing her brows a bit, she carefully hopped out of her seat and she spoke with an air of tenderness, "...I'm sure he wasn't always like that, at least going off of what you said, big guy." The next set of words she tried to find, she wasn't sure if they were gonna be the right ones or what, but... "...he's away from all the pain. No more suffering, sorrow, loneliness and anger...he's at peace. It's...sad that there wasn't another way to take him away from all of that but...we all did what we had to." With that, she offered the tiger guy a hug, with a couple of soft pats on the back. "...don't forget that you aren't alone, at least not anymore." Letting go she offered a thoughtful smile then went to grab the burn ointment from the first aid kit and began sliding it upon her arms. Sparing a glance towards the guy who could probably whoop all their asses at a game of pool, "That goes for you too..." Looking to the both of them, she gestured towards herself, "I'm here for both of ya if ya ever need it, yeah?" It was sincere and honest as could be, but it was a matter of them actually being receptive towards it...can't exactly be there for folks who genuinely don't want you around, after all. She liked to lie to herself that Riley actually enjoyed her company and her sibling was just going through it, being stubborn. Better to think of it that way.

sling shot WAIT SHE.... ...had NICE things to say about her...?! Well....at least getting ready to become a Pro-Hero before getting run through the mud of rejection paid off for something. "Aww, shucks..!" The critique was a fair one since she sort of pulled the name in a random thought raffle, maybe she'd work shop it a bit...? This was now going to be the look she ties to masquerading as a Pro-Hero, that would make things a little less complicated in the grand scheme of things... ...maybe. PLUS! On the additional things to tick the brightness up on the bright side of things, she was considered eccentric! Depending on who you asked, that was either a compliment, insult or a sugar glazed doughnut insult. Thankfully, it was just Jaida consulting herself on whether it was mean spirited or not, so she was going to be an optimistic sort and have the overwhelming vote be for compliment! "See? She gets it..." "Bruh." Mr. Red Hoodie was so over this! As she stood there, keeping her balance despite being a derby darling on wheels, those jade optics took in the sights as this...holy cow this was a lot easier with Titanomachia's help. Even though she wasn't super keen on the woman, it seemed like she judged her a wee bit wrongly. Maybe in another life if she were adamant about becoming a Pro-Hero despite all the odds, she could have tried getting this woman's in clearing her real name and set the record straight. Crouching a little bit to get a better look of the streets below, she plopped her hands upon her knees and lightly puffed her cheeks in thought. Though she let out a GASP and turned back toward Titanomachia with a grin that seemed to say DUDE, NO WAY "Oh my freakin' GOD! That sounds so gross!" Playfully poking out her tongue after letting out a little laugh, she fanned her hand a bit, "S-sorry, sorry! That's just wild, impressive but gosh...! Even more reason to give you a lil' break on any other gross stuff, yeah?"Waggling her finger with a lil wink to polish off her words. Then she stood upright and offered a salute to Titanomachia with a grin, "Aye, aye! One hooligan coming right on up!" Though as she hopped gently off of the large woman's hand, she reached up to gently rub the scratches upon the dumpster...her smile drifting into a slight frown. Then furrowed her brows as she heard growls from within... "Somethin' ain't right here..." Saying those words softly under her breath, the red hoodied boy went from looking annoyed to having a somewhat devious grin peeling across his lips when the petite woman moved her hand to the lid. As she flipped it open with a hop, her eyes widened as water began oozing from the rather large bin... "Wh-what the hell...?" Seeing something shift, she quickly skated backwards with a sharp gasp and instinctively reached to her shoulder. Pulling a thick band of flesh, she held it across as though to shield herself as a reflexive course of action, all born of things going wrong...which lucky her, learning from mistakes helped! It reeked of a harbor, saltiness heavily draping the air around the area. What emerged was a crocodilian mutant who lunged straight for the petite woman's face. Yet, his jaws met with the elastic flesh she held firmly as he chomped down! Without so much as a second thought, she wrapped the left over portion around its snout to hold the fella's mouth shut. Feeling her heart race like crazy, she was so focused on keeping herself from having her face chewed off that the wave from the dumpster didn't quiiiite click out the gate... "DUDE! CHILL OU--Oh no..." ...well uh...this...could be worse...

sling shot Most people would be outright offended by getting low key snapped at, plus being called a dumb bitch out the gate. But for this twink tank, she figured with how he held himself with the personality of porcupine quills...it didn't sound necessarily venomous? She'd been insulted PLENTY of times, like insults that came right from a genuinely mean place aaaand it didn't hit like that? Plus, it was hard to really cut this optimistic ray of sunshine deep enough to actually feel terrible about herself! Getting peeeeeeeeeled off, that's when she blurted out, "Whoops! Sorry, sorry!" Holding up her hands slightly as if to playfully, silently say oh noooo, I surrender, she lightly fanned her hands with a soft laugh as her wheels plopped upon the ground. Reaching up to fluff the spikes of her hair with a soft hum, she knew the dude could PROBABLY squish her skull if he actually wanted to be violent towards her. So that was another dash on the tally chart of dude isn't bad, just kinda grumpy! Though once the man of the hour spoke up, he had their full attention...despite pinch her hair's spike's back in place. Lowering her hands, she lightly cupped her cheek and listened intently while slowly blinking... ....he was trying to solve problems that seemed out of the hands of Pro-Heroes... ...which... ...always struck such an odd chord with the vibrant, petite woman. How do they just...miss the mark on these things and allow it to slip beyond their grasp like a pile of over cooked noodles? "...geeze....that's not good..." Lightly shaking her head with a slight frown as she leaned even more into hand...it could be worse, but it was still kiiiiinda bad? Like for a surge to go under the radar was riddled with glowing red flags, something wasn't right and they had to at least attempt to do something! They were heroes without a contract, at least that's how she saw it! At least he was making an effort to figure out a solution in the form of a sense of unity...which was something she could absolutely get behind. After all, she was really tired of trying to take on the weight of numerous burdens all alone...it was a tough pill to swallow, but you know what? She was enough of a grown ass adult with a good head on her shoulders to realize it wasn't the most realistic approach. Especially if maybe one day...she wanted to be someone Riley could actually go to in their time of need. ...though she wasn't willing to accept that may never happen, that day may never come. That...was something she harbored unhealthy levels of denial towards, but maybe that would change one day. Taking in a deep breath before letting out a thoughtful sigh...she at least could rest assured that there would be one person for sure who would stand by Ghouligan's idea. The statistics of how many folks were here gave a bit more to invest hope in at least maybe one or two others willing to help make this work. With her eyes darting to the first voice that spoke up, she couldn't help but beam a bright smile, "OH HELL YEAH, LET'S GOOOOOO!" Thrusting her fists up in the air to celebrate in this shared corner, she offered god's most enthusiastic golf clap with a big ol grin as this Warper fella mentioned he made his gear and SEEMED willing to offer that to others, too! WOW ACTUALLY! HE SEEMED LIKE HE WANTED TO REALLY HELP THE CAUSE! Part of her wondered if maybe she could collaborate with the guy, learn some stuff and possibly have someone around to go into her love of gunpla! WOW THAT WOULD BE COOL! Despite having such a warm, friendly personality going for her, she...uh.....didn't have a lot of friends? Folks she was cool with from her repair business, sure! But...she was pretty sure they didn't really see her as a friend? Maybe one day some of the regulars would look at her as friend material, but ehhhh...she didn't hold her breath too much about it since she didn't have much in common with em'. Getting along with folks was more than enough to keep her happy, though...it was good enough. "That's the spirit! You can TOTALLY figure it out, man! I can help a bit!" Giving Warper two thumbs up, she figured it wouldn't hurt to at least offer affirmation for all that moxy! Then she looked towards the direction of the next voice, she...uh...did notice he winced a lil at the corner of her eye when Warper spoke about ratty pieces of equipment... ...was Stalker the kinda dude who would be okay getting an offer to test out stuff she made which inherently meant an upgrade. Not knowing him well enough to extend such a potential deal, she'd listen to what he had to say first before tossing some positive reinforcement his way. Bobbling her head in a nod when she agreed with the points being laid out, it...hmmm yeah that was a valid concern! Though she wasn't totally sure she could take on something like that, it didn't mean she wasn't willing to make the effort if it seemed like no one else here could! Lightly scratching her cheek in thought, she figured it made sense that folks were spilling bits of tea about themselves since...well...for one, it'skinda hard to locate folks if you don't know where to find them, right? It's like calling out for help in the void, hoping someone would answer which...really depended on luck. That and what they were capable of was good to know because quirks were a lot like tools, you need the right one for certain jobs and others may not work. Ghouligan mentioned his strengths as well, so did Warper...should she really open up the tin on what she could do? There was always this lingering fear that someone was gonna dig up dirt on her...knowing what her quirk was, narrowing it down to her and--maybe it was a little irrational? The fear that everyone here would despise her for attempting to be a Pro-Hero once upon a time and the narrative of her failure. Maybe they wouldn't rely on her... ...maybe they wouldn't see her as someone they could count on. Offering a comforting pat on Stalkers elbow, she spoke softly, "Psst, big guy, you're doing just fiiiiine without fancy pants things. Ya don't need em' if ya don't want em'." After that, she stuffed her hands in her pockets and pondered on what she should share about herself.... During that moment, she heard another voice speak up and she leaned over a bit to have a better look of whooooooomst. Though she'd offer a polite lil' wave as though to quietly say hulloooo for a moment and WOOP, Slapped her hand on her cheek as a gasp escaped her upon the sight of all those blades, "Yoooo, nice...!" For someone with a keen eye regarding metal, those looked like they'd been VERY WELL taken care of! Though the moment that phone was brought out, she lightly tapped her cheek while listening to something about an ENKI network which....sounded handy? Though she couldn't help but wonder how good or safe it was to use since it didn't seem like its creator was here as far as she could tell. Not knowing who's behind something was like taking a gamble with accepting a drink from a stranger at the bar, something she didn't do after seeing what happened to others back in America. Yet...it sounded pretty handy if it was as secure as advertised. If anyone should have it, it should probably be with Ghouligan...right? Bringing her hands up to press her gloved fingertips together in thought, lightly tapping them with a melodic, metallic clickity clack, little to those around her... ...most likely... She was keying in the address after it was spoken with what felt straight out of left field, connecting with the burner in her pocket to search up the location. Tilting her chin up slightly, she had a visual for herself as Ronin spoke about it... "...huh...ya wouldn't know it by just lookin' at it..." Muttering that thought out loud beneath her breath, she slid her hands across one another to cross them...which on her end, triggered her burner to save the data in her visor for future use. Smiling thoughtfully as she planned to do a little more digging on the place, make sure it's truly safe for everyone...even if it meant visiting the place herself in one of her civilian-ish get-ups. If it ended up being some kind of weird trap, she figured she was sturdy enough to handle it at the very least. The vibrant haired woman's smile brightened as she heard the guy talk about an indiscriminate doctor who would help others for shiny clickity clack neat things, "Really?! Hey! That's super cool! Gotta love a person who helps others just because! Maybe you could connect her with the rest of us later, yeah?" Clapping her hands together, she got way too excited to stay on the sidelines! There wasn't so much as a shred of sarcasm in her tone when she spoke earlier, she meant it with all her heart! "Oh! Yeah! Uh! Right! Hiya ladies, gents and those in-betwen like me! I'm totally in on this thing!" Holding up her hand like she was trying to answer a question in class or a group meeting, though she waved when she said, "Gadget, here! Willing to help even though I really don't know what I can contribute that someone else can't!" Her honesty was certainly right there in the open, lowering her hand before thumb pointing to herself, she figured sprawling out the next red carpet of statements would be a safe enough bet... "I can take a punch easy peasey, so if ya need a meat shield?! BET! I'M HERE FOR YA!" Lifting her hand slightly, she twirled her hand a bit, "I also make n' code stuff, but I'm still learnin' so heh, bear with me, yeah?" Moving her finger to rest it upon her chin, she thoughtfully spoke up, "That phone thing sounds like it would be a tough nut to crack with reverse engineering, but hey! I'll give it a shot if no one else can and uhhh ya know, wants me to? I'm pretty resourceful n' all so...mmmmaaaaayyyyybeee?"Crossing her arms, she lightly tilted her chin and looked up in thought, "...mmmmaybe I could figure it out? Not totally sure, but I do know I've made a lot of snazzy stuff from scraps n' junk I found..." Snapping her fingers, she had a straight up light bulb moment and showed off her sharp pearly whites, "So I guess I'm a bit of a scavenger, ha! Y'all need me to help with supplies? HIT ME UP!" Digging into her pockets, she held up a bunch of cards with a cat-like grin, "Take one if ya want for those of ya who want em'!" Granted, it had contact info and all for those who took one with a little drawing of her doing a thumbs up with the word GADGET written on it... ....yup, she did, in fact make business cards special for this meeting. "I do repairs, too! I'm just kinda traveling around n' all, so who knows! A Gadget could be in your area!" Doing a lil finger gun motion, she playfully added a lil' "Peeewwwm~!"

sling shot God's strongest chew toy never took that many volts in one sitting, so it was seriously good to know that even though it didn't kill her... that many volts riding on her skin tickled her nerves. The prickly feeling of pins and needles bugged her a great deal since...well...it tapped away at some unsavory memories. Offering an uneasy smile to the one she dubbed as Pool Guy in her brain, she was able to get away from thinking about how the tested her quirk's limits a while back. Nodding solemnly to silently answer him that she wasn't dead and still with em', it was clear as day that she understood the gravity of what they did here. More so when she looked towards the corpse and that smile dimmed like the sun burning out at sun set. It wasn't a summon manifested by a quirk, it would have vanished by now. No, that was a person. They straight up killed someone. They ripped the life from someone and it wasn't exactly something that left her feeling chipper. Knowing that it was literally the only option on their plate...knocking them out probably wouldn't have kept the masses safe in this scenario. That was a tough pill to swallow for someone who saw a life as having more value and weight than just taking up space in the world. This person may have gone on a murder spree...but they didn't know the full story at all... ...or at least she didn't. There were people in the world who lost themselves because of their quirk, a lot like how substance abuse can change a good person into a terrible one. This person was...maybe a victim of poor life choices and not awful. Maybe it was silly, but there was part of her that wondered if anyone out there would mourn that person's departure from this world. If anyone would so much offer them a moment of silence, say something nice about their memory of him and knew him outside of...well... a monster that had to be slain. Closing her eyes as she pushed herself off the ground, she knew from the urgency in his tone that this wasn't the place or time to stand around to respect and honor the memory of the life they took. It was the least she wanted to do since...she didn't know this person and offered them the benefit of a doubt that they weren't always this way. Things change a person and...she knew how that went, kind of sort of.... Part of her wasn't sure if she should use her real voice to speak up, a voice changer offered her a sense of security when it came to dealing with folks she didn't know. Yet, these two were safe company, they seemed to have her back and didn't give the gonna throw me under the bus like Rolio vibe. "My tech's busted to shiiiit....so uh...I...don't know the safest route, but we'll figure it out together." Saying those words with a sense of concern and draped in comfort, it was enough to show she wasn't ready to give up despite feeling a bit lost. Rather than assume any of them knew this area like the back of their hand, she scooped up her busted launcher and held it close as she tried to look for whatever looked like could offer the most coverage for the three of them. "I...I think I came here from that way..?" Tilting her head towards a disheveled as hell alley way, she pouted slightly since everything looked so different with all the destruction that happened. "...if either of you know this area more, I'll follow." Lightly tapping her wheels against the ground in an effort to wake up her legs a bit more, she would give them a moment to either take her suggestion or follow whoever seemed like they knew where to go. After all... ...it could be worse! NONE OF THEM COULD HAVE A CLUE! Ya know what, though? With two others here, that was at least a 50/50 chance of someone being like a sneaky tour guide to safety! Those odds weren't terrible!

sling shot Feeling a hand grasp around her, it was too late to slip away and try to get the heck out of dodge with the power of five thousand nopes! Then again, that was the case for the red hoodied punk as well...and it's not like he or his buddies were being hurt or harmed by this woman. Literally just captured...though good god one of them was brooding like no body's business. Of course, red hoodie boy wasn't having it and started throwing a tantrum by using his not-so-nice words and the vigilante with powdery pink hair couldn't help but slow blink at the little argument unfolding. His buddies telling them that they could get folded in half, get in huuuuuuuuge trouble and they need to be on better behavior or else. It was clear as day that they hadn't a damn clue about how the world worked and you know what? That wasn't her problem anymore. As she was sorted into what he brain labeled the interrogation palm she figured that for now, she was in the clear at the moment for now. Wiggling the skin lasso, it loosened up bit by bit as it thinned, tugging it while plopping it against her arm. With the way she was coiling it around, it was like she was trying to pile spaghetti on her arm. When she was asked about who she was, she took a moment to release the now noodle-y skin for a moment... ...now it was her time to be a little extra like those folks in tokusatsu shows! OR A MAGICAL GIRL! OH THE MAGICAL GIRL-ISH APPROACH WOULD BE PERFECT WITH THIS OUTFIT! Without missing a beat, even as her garb was absolutely insulted, that only meant more material to work with! Twirling her hand around as though she was about to start some sort of dance routine, pinching her index and thumb together to shape it like a heart near her face. Tilting her head slightly as she plopped her opposite hand upon her hip, adjusting her footing so she was looking almost like she'd been getting ready for a magical girl based style photo shoot. Speaking in a more cutesy tone, almost with a melodic air to it, her words danced about with a dash of whimsy, not caring that the pile of skin she was piling up on her arm slid off like runaway pasta and flopped down at her feet, "The lovely, Lovely Lasso~! Roping in crime by moonlight, winning over hearts by daylight~!"Adding on a quick little giggle, she lightly fanned her hand, "Oh no no no noooooo, my mom ordered it for me as a gift from a friend of hers! No one's losing their jobs today~!" Too bad Rolio wasn't a designer at ASTA, she would have taken this opportunity to be petty and get his ass fired for sure. If there was one dude she hated the most, it was that slime ball, Rolio...bleeeegggggggghhhhhhhhhh! OH IF OOOOOOOONLY! Going back to pulling back her skin edition lasso despite being treated like a low-grade gunpla kit, she gently rubbed her arm to smooth it back in, stretching her mouth out in a thin line with barely a hint of a grin, "This is my least favorite paaaaart, it always feels so weeeiiiird...." The corner of her mouth lightly twitched, but then she checked back in as she heard her pop off and wave around her power with a dash of fear mongering because oh of course a Pro-Hero would do that, of coooooouuuuuuuuuuurse they would! Watching to see if the interrogation would work out to her favor, the boy in the red hoodie was snarling, fiiiiiiinally caving just a bit, "How would I know?!" "Wouldn't it be funny if they were in the trash? They're always saying it's their home...like...poetic irony." "That's stupid!" As she idly pulled the last bit of her skin back and gently rubbed it into her arm, those vibrant green eyes took in the scenery from so high up. Strolling closer to the edge of the giant woman's hand around where she saw them split off. Squinting slightly as though to adjust her focus, clicking her tongue softly in thought...it...looked like there was a dumpster that had a hastily made stack near it. Almost like someone, or a large animal scrambled on stuff... "...the emokid might have a point." Glancing towards Titanomachia, she pointed off in the direction of a dumpster that had claw marks around the edges if it were inspected further. "When I was rounding up Mr. No Manners over here, I saw their friend slip off that way..." Then she pointed towards herself and let out a soft chuckle, "If it's too icky, I can take a closer look for you~"If there was anything she picked up from all the media coverage about this woman, it's that Jaida had enough to hop on over to a conclusion: Titanomachia wasn't keen on getting herself filthy. Weeellllllllll at least not without the golden carrot of praise all over the place, of course! This seemed like a pretty thankless situation as a whole, so ehhhh...might as well! Of course, if Titanomachia wanted to brave opening the lid...let's just say that hiding hooligan wasn't going to look like some normie off the streets.

sling shot it had to be done.
There was no other way.
They had No option.
It Had To Be Done. That was a new mantra to help her cope after the reality of the situation sunk in...it wasn't all that long ago when she took part in snuffing out the light of someone's life. Murder was an absolutely last resort, not something she believed in committing herself...that was the shit villains did, right? Sometimes... ...those thoughts haunted her late at night, dreams twisting into nightmares, but there was always the grim reminder that more people would have died if they tried to be total pacifists. Sure, she would have preferred if they kept him alive...but...how often did people break out? How many times did she read about some psychopaths with a bone to pick going on a rampage? How many times did people throw a murderous tantrum? Too many times. Too many damn times. That's how many. Someone had to stop them and she met two people who answered that call, people who actually cherished life despite taking it. A pair of grim reapers who would approach those that crossed a particular threshold...they had standards. That's why she didn't harbor a grudge, it wasn't some petty, mindless slaughter...unlike the one they stopped together. With that in mind, she took on this holy mission and had to make sure they never became the monsters they despised. Make sure it never became worse. Because it could always be worse. So she would do her best to be their guiding light...or die trying. Skating along carefully, she had one hand over her headphone, playing music to distract her thoughts to help her focus as she kept an eye out for her surroundings. Granted, sometimes her ears still rang, but that came with the territory of what she went through. Like damn! At least she was like...Tonka Tough when it came down to enduring lightning, that's for sure...! Smiling thoughtfully to herself, Jaida knew it was the right thing to answer the call for unorthodox heroes who wanted to make society a better place! Plus, the reminder that she was no longer alone in this line of business, knowing there were others looking to work together were trying to find another quelled the loneliness in her heart of fighting alone. Granted, she was just getting back into it after getting over her failure born of sabotage, but no one got better by wallowing in self pity! ...even though she still had her days where she'd watch dramas while shoveling ice cream down her face and getting waaaaaaay too invested in the story while screaming at the T.V... ...STILL, MOST OF HER DAYS WEREN'T LIKE THAT! Several songs later, she rooooooolled on through the entrance while lightly booping her headphone to stop the music gracing her eardrums. Activating her voice changer, she got all her shit together on the inside as she grinned upon seeing a small group of people, "Eyyyyy! I made it! Sorry I'm late!" Leaping to conclusions in a single bound, she blurted out, "Holy crap on a cracker! Ghouls, you got loooooooooads of buddies!" Skating around, she weaved around those who gathered, waving like an excitable puppy who was more than happy to see everyone as a delighted squeal escaped her. Doing a pair of finger guns at the unfamiliar faces as a cat-like grin crept along her violet lips, she spoke with the most honest enthusiasm known to man, "Yoooo! I'm diggin' all these sick looks! Dude! You gotta tell me where ya shop! OOO! Or- or did ya make iii--OH SHIT!" Bringing up both hands to her cheeks for a moment, lightly smooshing her face in the process, she happily trotted in place with her wheels clickity clackiting for a moment. THEN---! She ssssssswwwwwwwooooooooooooooooooshed towards an all too familiar grumpy cat, "OH EM GEEEEE! NO WAY! HEY BIG GUY, YA SHOWED UP!" Excitedly opening up her arms, the only warning poor Stalker would get is the lil wiggle of her arms cause wow! When you got revolutionary technology in the form of snazzy boots, clearly it's a waste not to hug someone taller than you around the shoulders! Quick like a whip, she kicked off the ground and her boots gave her a boost that brought her high enough to give God's Grumpiest Edgelord Tiger Guy™ a tight hug around the shoulders. Yes, even kicking her legs a bit as she hung off of the ground before letting go as she hovered back down to the ground for a soft landing. Her inability to read the room that there was so much as a shred of tension before she showed up was lacking and it was as obvious as her highlighter pink hair styled with spikes, accented by a vibrant blue streak. Shuffling to stand beside the familiar tiger man, she absentmindedly leaned her shoulder against her ally-buddy-bucko-pal-chum in the making. This was one of those moments that were easily classified as head empty, heart full. Even if she was pushed or shoved away for being way too friendly for her own good, she was in too good of a mood to have her inner light dimmed like there was no way she couldn't be over joyed about so many people sharing something in common! sling shot Good...everyone seemed to respect each other well enough that they had a base level of trust...that was nice... ...really nice, actually. Well, this was it... Furrowing her brows beneath the visor, part of her knew just how batshit bananas it was to tank so many volts...but she felt like there weren't many options left. This would ensure the guys who seemed like they could do more damage could position themselves and maybe even but this damn thing in its place, stop it from hurting more people. That was the goal.Save the ones who were still alive. If this was her final stand? Then so be it.Flashing off a confident grin for what could be the last time as far as any of them knew, "This is it, do or die time. muttering those words to herself as she saw the wild quirker's body tremble. Slamming her launcher down, crouching behind it quickly. Well, this was the best she could do in such a pinch! Kneeling as she braced for the impending impact, closing her eyes tightly while gritting her teeth as the electricity rippled along her body. It was still an unpleasant feeling, but hot damn did being made of a weird, rubbery material sure help during times like these...! With her visor cracking, that was one of the tell tale signs that her equipment wasn't going to survive in the slightest, that was fine though. Everything could rebuilt, it was a small price to pay...plus she was already screwing up her suit by ripping off pieces to use as ammunition for her launcher. Heh... Destroying her own tech and putting her life on the line for a bunch of strangers, she could only imagine her sibling probably calling her nuts or something for everything today... ...but maybe part of them would think she was something special about wanting to protect people's right to simply live. Then again, would her sibling even believe that this happened? Probably not...it felt like no one in her family truly believed she could be anything close to the hero she did her best to be. All thanks to that dipshit, Rolio who made her seem like she was the least competent candidate to help anyone.... ....that was fine. It felt like her body was locked up for a bit, like her nerves went on a little strike for the time being. Coughing up a bit of smoke with a wheeze, those vibrant pink optics darted around to take in the sights of what she saw as a failure on her part. "...go me..." Those two words seemed to shake things up within her, stirring a few more coughs, she kicked herself real hard on the inside for failing to consider how much of an asshole their opponent was. Lash out on everything rather than just her... Even though she looked more or less okay, slumped over her launcher, the fur lining around her vest singed a bit n' all that... ...for her, it sounded like she was submerged and stuck with a crying heart monitor. Trying to push herself up, forcing herself through the stubbornness of her nerves only caused her body to flump over and look more like a possible corpse outside of her breathing. Okay so maybe she needed juuuuust a moment to let her body get all of its shit together after that. Hopefully the other two would be okay in the mean time...from her position on the ground, she couldn't really see what was going on too well. Aside from the figure of that massive beast, of course..that thing was damn hard to miss. [TLDR] Was really happy about them all having enough respect to trust one another enough, she thought that was really nice ;v; Gives em' a smile before hunkering down quickly behind her launcher before tanking the blast like a goddamn idiotic champion Shoo bee doo bee doo introspective goodness She's coughing, but eyyyy it's Jaida, the twink who lived! Well she's alive and all, but her hearing is kinda messed up at the moment. Jaida failed to get up, looks kinda dead right now because her nerves are being kinda goofy from tanking so many volts. A keen eye will allow em' to see she's still breathing though. (She'll be ready to do stuff next post, though!) P.S: Her voice changer is busted like the rest of her tech.

sling shot "Whatever..." The kid scoffed and rolled their head to flip their raven locks off to one side of their face with a scowl. "You'll be wanting my autograph one day, lady..." Muttering those words beneath their breath, aspiring to be Japan's next big thing as a street artist so yeah this lady was like, sooooo whatever. Clearly she didn't know real art if it smacked her in the face. Though the base spelling was from their red hoodie hooligan friend, they honestly thought it was just some deep, profound commentary when they removed the slash rather than a grammatical thing. What the message was, the raven haired kid couldn't say, really! Though their friend wasn't exactly someone they'd ask for spelling tips and that was fine, they were both under appreciated artists, birds of a feather drifting in a world that could never understand them. Speaking of their friend.... The vigilante with powder pink locks who looked like she just stepped out of a convention or something continued chasing after the red hoodied punk! Rubbing her eyes, she let out a groan as she avoided the obstacles and blinked a few times as her vision began clicking back into place. It was just the weirdest thing that electricity was really no big deal, but ugh fire was a little annoying. Suuuuuuuure, it took a bit for her body to melt, but her nerves had a way of reacting to direct flames as though it was like some sort of shock to the system. Maybe it's because she got electrocuted so often from working on things that it was just another day in comparison? Bah, who knew! There wasn't much time to dwell or think about it, but as she was skating after the kid...the thuds of the ground suddenly quaking made her think, "Huh...this reminds me of one of those dinosaur films where science goes too far for a theme park..." Mumbling that thought out loud, she started pulling bits of her skin, pinch n' pull as though it was a string of taffy. Making a lasso of her elastic skin, she saw the fire kid look over his shoulder and tossed yet another fireball before screaming at one hell of a high pitch. Jaida swerved out of the way of the fireball and squinted at the teen, wondering what had them so friggin' spooked... ..... Titanomachia was on their tail. Being chased down by a giant woman wasn't exactly what she called a good time, especially one who was a corporate dog of the government. After everything that happened with her in the past, trying to become a legitimate hero...the facade of Pros being genuinely good people melted away. So many of them came off as cut throats, selfish and...ugh...she could eventually become something, someone better as a vigilante. Reluctantly, she'd have to work with the woman who she only knew about through whatever the media had to offer. Although she wasn't keen on the type of individual the giant woman came off as, didn't mean she couldn't put aside her differences to rally up some kids who were causing trouble. Pinching off the elastic from her arm, she turned back towards the kid in red and twirled the elastic lasso above her head for a moment before tossing it forward. Aiming to get the loop around em' like she was playing a game of horse shoes, she grinned before tugging the fire brat backward. "Got'cha!" What she didn't expect was for the kid to blast fire out of his mouth the get up and start running like a headless chicken! Holding on to the lasso, she was now getting dragged along... GREEEEEEEEAAAAAAAT.... "A LIL HELP, HERE!" There was no way she had the sheer strength to stop this kid, but at least a certain giant woman could...right?!

sling shot You know what? Getting tuned out while there was a whole lot of fuckshit going on wasn't the worst thing in the world and didn't bother her one bit! Water off a duck's back for her and didn't add on a shred of frustration one bit. There were definitely bigger things to worry about with all of this.... ...like this guy clinging for his dear life on that dragon dude! OH SNAP! Part of her thoughts flipped into an outright panic as if it was an office on fire with the workers within tried to douse the embers as it spilled into a puddle of chaos. Taking in a sharp breath through her nostrils, she put out the blaze in her brain by rolling out the red carpet of solutions. Shouting up to the man who had to endure the topsy-turvey twirl of their common foe, "HANG IN THERE!" Ripping off another piece of her armor, she tried her best to keep her eye on the tiger guy, rapidly skating along as she loaded up her launcher once more. Although she messed up the connections between her tech by breaking apart the armor pieces on her arm, the scrawny chick was more worried about saving lives than having an easier time controlling her tech. It was doing something, or at least that's what her green cloaked ally clinging for dear life implied. So it was time to go for the second verse, same as the first! Noticing the billiard ball smack the wound exactly where she asked, it was...a...delightful surprise that the pool shark vigilante followed her instructions which caused a bright smile in this moment of darkness to cross her lips. The jackass she was stuck with during her Pro-Hero test didn't listen...so it was nice to see that change. At least this wasn't going to be an uphill climb like it was back then... Sparing him a glance about the time he caught up with her, the corner of her mouth lightly twitched as he asked about her resistance to electricity. "Y-yeah! Helps a lot in my line of work, h-heh!" The amount of times she was rescued by her quirk from being electrocuted to death while making machines and equipment was a sizable number to put it lightly. Part of her had a shred of anxiety towards folks knowing what her quirk was since...well...if someone had no life and knew everything about folks who didn't make the cut, they could probably put two and two together about who she was. Imagining vigilantes realizing there was a point in her life where she tried to go legit was...nerve wracking to say the least. Though that concern was tucked away in a box this time since she was more than willing to use her quirk in full to save a life if that's what it boiled down to. There was no way she'd try to cover her own ass if it meant sacrificing someone, even if they were a total stranger, that didn't matter. A life was a life which...is why she had to do her best to stop that dragon from slaughtering more folks. No more body counts if she and the impromptu allies could help it! Balancing the loaded launcher against her shoulder, her eyes were darting around...trying to figure out if she should shoot the dragon and then attempt to catch the tiger dude or maybe stretch out her skin to make a trampoline. Though it looked like she wouldn't have to continue through the rolodex of possible saves when pool guy made a platform! When she heard him let the tiger dude know it was safe, she instinctively nodded and thoughtfully blurted out, "It looks sturdy! You'll be okay! Promise!" Even though deep down, she knew she was a total stranger...it didn't hurt to offer assurance. Now, it was time to be a distraction since...well... ...it looked like the dragon was going for a charged attack, that was something she could handle...she was pretty sure of it. The way it was taking in electricity, she could take one for the team at the cost of her equipment no longer functioning properly. Just because she was resistant, it didn't mean the electronics on her were, too...and that was fine. As long as her boots were stuck as skates, she could at least still move around, that was the most crucial thing for her right now. Glancing back towards the pool guy, the fact he was listening and helping weighed heavily in the department of actions speak louder than words. "I'm about to do something crazy, hopefully it makes an opening...! So please stay back and get ready to attack again, okay?" Saying those words sternly with an air of concern to them, she didn't want him to sick close and get himself hurt for the crazy ass stunt she was about to pull. If he attacked from afar, like he had been, it would have a high chance of being safer for her allies in the moment. Leaning forward as she picked up the pace, then turned towards the dragon...lining herself up with its head as she aimed her launcher towards its face...namely the big guy's mouth. "HEY ASSHOLE! YOU COULD USE MORE IRON IN YOUR DIET!" Holding her breath once more to secure a lil more accuracy for the center in hopes of getting the piece of metal into its mouth. Seizing the moment, that's when she fired the broken piece of her armor into the open maw of the dragon! The sheer force of the launcher at its highest setting caused her to skid backward for a moment before leaning forward and rocking her heels back to stop. For now, she was no longer a moving target, but a sitting duck who was nice and still. If this all went according to plan... ...this was going to be a rather shocking experience! As long as this asshole hyper focused her, the heavy hitters could do what they needed to do safely enough...right? ....right? [TLDR] Jaida doesn't mind that she was ignored lol. Called out to Dion to hang in there, then broke a piece of her arm's armor off to load it in the launcher while continuing to skate around. Happy that she wasn't ignored, yay team work! When Ghouligan caught up, she looked over and was a lil nervous about answering him regarding her resistance to electricity, but is honest about it also adding it's helpful in her line of work. Contemplating ways to catch Dion, but notices the platform and backs up Ghouligan by assuring it's safe to land on since as far as she can tell, it looks sturdy! Tells Ghouligan (and inherently Dion if he's listening to her!) she's gonna do something crazy to make an opening, stay back and get ready. Distances herself from Ghouligan and gets herself in front of the dragon, called it an asshole and "insulted" its diet before shooting the loaded piece of broken arm armor into the dragon's mouth. Tried her best to steady her body and shoot for the center, how accurate the shot really is will be up to you! Staying still like a sitting duck so the dragon has her as a stationary target to shoot with electricity! YES this will fry the tech that's on her F for respects for her tech in your TLDR if the dragon shoots her with lightning lol

sling shot Well, she got the creature's attention...! Pacing her breathing as she quickly moved along, her gaze constantly darting around as she tried to spot a perfect place to try and trap this murderous fella. There was a way...she knew there was, there was always a way..! Though something was going on, she... ...wasn't alone? Shoot! No, maybe it was all in her head and this dragon was bumping into things?! ...no. That shriek, it wasn't an ouchies, I bumped into something sort of sound, no...twirling as she slowed her pace, she couldn't help but gasp as her vibrant pink eyes shot wide open beneath the visor. Part of her wanted to snap at the person who was helping her, whether this was some hero she didn't read about in the registry, "TRYING TO GET THIS ASSHOLE AWAY FROM HURTING MORE PEOPLE ISN'T HALF-ASSED, OKAY?!" As she shouted out those words, she ripped off the plate of metal covering her shoulder and waggled it for emphasis. The edges crackled with a bit of electricity upon the piece of her exposed skin and didn't seem to bother her in the slightest. With her gaze looking it over the broken off shoulder piece real quick, she shifted her gaze towards the open wound and saw an opportunity...then...was that a ball or something...?! That thing actually cracked the scales from what it sounded like! Woah okay...a plan was brewing in her head and she really hated the idea of potentially killing whoever this mass murderer was, for all she knew...this dragon guy was a quirked individual who just straight up had violently angry as a side effect. Oooor....it could be a summon resulted from a quirk that went totally haywire...? The possibilities weren't endless...but definitely long as hell! All she knew is she'd have to work with those around her who had a common enemy at the moment, trust that the common ground of saving everyone around them was crucial enough. The launcher on her back should have the right amount of force to get the metal shard into the wound...it was a lot lighter than her own body and that thing could lift her for a lil' rocket hop! Quickly pulling the launcher off of her back, she loaded up the metallic shoulder piece into the slot before cranking the dial. Taking in a deep breath to hold it in so her body would be steady, she took aim for the open wound and pulled the trigger as her body swiftly moved backwards from the sheer acceleration of force! Though she forced herself to skid to a stop, she couldn't risk putting away the wheels on her shoes just yet since it was the only way she could realistically have a chance of moving fast enough. On her own two feet, she would be too slow...that was just a fact. If the metal shoulder piece made contact it would get wedged into the flesh and need to get hammered into there, so for a moment, she blurted out "POOL GUY! HEY UH-"Lightly smacking her forehead, realizing practically everyone and their mom's spoke Japanese, she then began flailing her free hand while balancing the launcher on her shoulder. Motioning towards where she made an attempt to shoot...almost like a lil chopping motion, then blurted out in Japanese as though to correct herself from that slip of the tongue, "PLEASE AIM THERE!" Japanese was something she had a grip on, but sometimes the English randomly slipped out as a force of habit since she lived in New York prior to moving here years ago. Sometimes it was a hassle since she wasn't exactly a local, but she usually picked up well enough and kept moving forward. Continuing to skate around, avoiding the sitting duck trope...she was also trying to scope out any other potential weak spots they could take advantage of. [TLDR!] Yells at Dion about not being half-assed while ripping off a piece of her armor (shoulder piece) For keen eyed folks: The electricity from the broken armor piece didn't bother her at all, shoulder skin is exposed. Loads the broken shoulder piece into her launcher, holds her breath to steady her body and launches it towards the open wound Dion made. If it makes contact, it should be enough to stick it into the exposed flesh wound! How well, that's your call! Accidentally calls out to Ghouligan in English, lil facepalm at herself, then swaps back to talking in Japanese, motioning towards the open wound. Skating around to keep moving to avoid being a sitting duck, but also looking for other weak points, too!

COME GET SOME!Encounters: Solaris [MAWS] The lion, the witch and the AUDACITY of these fishEncounters: Damian CompleteChasing the DragonEncounters: Ryuu (Big ol' heckin dragon), Antoine de la Rose (As Ghouligan), Dion Ward (As Stalker) The Takeaway: It was the first time she ever had to accept murder is actually the answer, from her view point, more people would have died and they probably would have, too. In something that she thought would be a difficult solo 1 v 1 against something bigger and stronger than her, she was relieved to not be alone as she felt amidst the death and destruction. Finding allies and maybe even friends in two fellow vigilantes, it was a relief that they may have had to resort to such brutal methods, but neither of them took joy in it. A life is a life, no matter what and a bit of respect was offered for the deceased when they had a moment of peace before departing. For Jaida, she trusts that these two will have her back if she ever needs it...whether they realize it or not, she's got their backs, too. The UndertowEncounters: Antoine de la Rose (As Ghouligan), Gabriel Tomioka (As Warper), Eiji Harada (As Guts), Jackie (As "Miss G"), Dion Ward (As Stalker) The Takeaway: All she could ask for at the surface level has come true, the vigilante community, or at least a part of it, is coming together to network and hopefully strengthen one another. Hoping to work with everyone willing to do so, though there's only two people who were in that room she knows she can call on in a pinch. Others, she feels like there has to be something she can give back in return. Now she knows what the ENKI network is and isn't COMPLETELY sure how much she can trust the two people who seem to be in the know of it, but she actively chooses to fixate on the positive and let the negative fester in the shadowy corners of her mind. Though she isn't exactly on the side of Pro-Heroes for personal reasons...she still hopes Guardian Valkyrie and Deadlock will be okay. Perhaps she'll try to lure out the siren queen with the Punk Bae get-up to square up....? Who knows... sling shot Things seemed to be rolling downhill as of late. The news was going bonkers about some crazy shit that went down not that long ago, she was tasking herself with the holy mission of trying to reach out to those who were definitely not corpo dogs of the pro world. Get to them before someone else does, but it was proving difficult in some instances. Trying to cast out her net so she could fill the void of her life...you know, being a solo act...but it wasn't going so well. Then again, that's just the nature of things when you don't have a way to directly contact anyone. Watching words sprawl across the screen of her visor as she typed away on one of her burners, the most clues she got was for some big guy that squared up against some massive, angry puddles of water. As far as her research on the web took her, it seemed like the big fella matched the description of some forest dwelling cryptid? Well there wasn't a very clear descriptor, sort of like bits and pieces scattered around like a puzzle some kid trashed? So based on what she put together, complete with the funky Big Foot and Loch Ness Monster pictures folks took over time. All in all, from the posts on cryptid message boards, chats, communities and amateur reporters trying to cover the incident many were calling The Elementals, it seemed to add up to definitely not a bad guy. Having someone like that in her corner of the vigilante community would be fantastic! There was so much good that guy could do if she could just find that cryptid and convince him to help her...! ....or at least once in a while. This was a bit of a detour from her search though, sitting on a trash can with her legs crossed, lightly kicking her leg as she continued trying to get a better grip on where to look. Gnawing away on a lollipop idly, she just completely froze up when something intruded on her feed about a weird storm brewing over Tokyo. .... "...eh...? The forecast didn't mention anything abou--" After worriedly muttering those words in a hushed, thoughtful whisper to herself, she titled her head up towards the sky so her gaze could rest upon the grey storm clouds. "--oh." Feeling her heart sink, she stopped slouching and sat upright as she had a staring contest with the sky for a moment.... With all that happened regarding that Elementals incident... ...this could be a straggler. Like something left over that could flip things upside down and hurt a whole lot of people...there was something tied to a storm when that incident happened. Things could be worse today... "I gotta go...!" Furrowing her brows as those concerned words escaped her, she jumped off the trash can she'd been sitting on and tucked her phone away in one of her pockets. Brushing her fingers along the pouch with pellets...it...it might not be enough, that's when she brushed her hand along the gun holstered upon her hip. That may not be enough either... Bringing her hand up to grasp upon the strap that kept the launcher holstered to her back, that may not be enough, too...geeze. Well, that wasn't going to stop her! Heck, it could be a whole lot of nothing and honestly a freak storm of some kind, or a very harmless quirk! Tapping the tip of her boot upon the floor, the wheels popped right on out and she began quickly skating along. Reaching up to lightly tap her visor as she zoomed along, changing through different frequencies in hopes of picking up something that could give her a hint, landmark, anything that would help built the path to where she needed to go. Something... ...anything. The voices between bits of static didn't give her much to work with, almost like...no one cared enough about what was happening to report it out the gate. Probably a part of town that no one really gave a shit about, which was always pretty heart wrenching to think about, but you know what? That only drove her to reason with coming here more often...everyone needed someone to protect them, or at least try. Seemed like the pros preferred lime light and attention, they wouldn't get that in the part of town she was heading towards. Or at least that's what it felt like... It could be worse though, they could have nobody who cared and at least she cared enough to check things out. Hopefully others would show up, too...but folks had a tendency to run away from trouble rather than towards it. It was in that moment that the crackles of static had voices talking about...a... dragon emerging from the storm. Squinting slightly as she listened intently to the chatter, it was broken up here and there...but focusing on it really helped determine the severity of things. People were dead. People were dying. Getting closer and closer, she was starting to see the carnage for herself, people rushing by her to get away...bobbing and weaving between the reasonably freaked out civilians. Tapping both sides of her visor as she skid to a stop, it activated the voice changing feature and made it so her voice had a somewhat more robotic air to it as she spoke up nice n' loud, "HEY CHUCKLEFUCK!" Calling out to the dragon, she held her arm that was protected by an armored shell, waving it around at all angles so it would capture the sheen and light to make it shine more. Hopefully catching the dragon's attention even more, "OVER HERE! COME GET SOME!" Kicking up some debris, treating a rock like it was a hackey sack to make some more noise before catching it in the air to YEET it at the dragon! After she was sure she got the guy's attention, she quickly skated off to try luring this very clearly dangerous individual away and towards a more isolated area. Avoiding going in a straight line, changing up her pattern as she moved along like it was an invisible game of hockey or something, she didn't readily see anyone else around out the gate... ...though all she could hope is she was able to skate faster than the stormy goofus doofus dragon could fly or at least be a contender to be a distraction! Pacing her breath as she kept moving along, trying to map out a plan....it sure would be nice if she had the luxury of having people on speed dial for help. As far as she was aware, she was all alone in this and she'd have to make the best of it....but she had hope that there was still light at the end of the tunnel for this situation. [ Outfit!]
