''Yeah well no one can keep me locked up not even with reincarnation.'' She replied, completely misunderstanding and mishearing what incarceration was. Contrasting their last encounter Rui was relatively calm and a lot less murdery. She remembered being angry at Marlene, but even someone like her knew better than to provoke the security stationed at this amusement park. Besides, just because she wasn't killing her now didn't mean she couldn't just try to follow her home later or something. That's it. She wasn't losing her edge because she wasn't killing anyone now. This was a strategic no-killing maneuver. As long as she played along here she would get to kill later!

''That's me, hi! I'm the young miss!'' She waved at Alexander, then looked over her shoulder at the crowd to wave, completely oblivious to the fact that he was already using his quirk. ''Can I float?-'' She looked back at him, puzzled. ''That's not my thing I can't do that.'' She finally looked down, eyes widening at her missing legs. ''Woah! How? What?'' She was grinning from ear to ear. Her legs were missing but he didn't cut them off or anything because she hadn't felt any pain. Even with her quirk she wasn't fully exempt from feeling physical trauma. ''How did you do that?'' She grinned up at Alexander before looking at Marlene. ''Hey those are mine, thief!'' She pointed an accusatory finger at the automaton girl. When she made her way up and her legs reappeared after his snap she poked them a couple times, just to make sure her legs actually were back to normal.

She looked at Marlene as she introduced herself, waiting for her turn to speak. ''I'm Rui!'' She raised her voice, perhaps a little too loud. ''My hopes and dreams is to have lots of fun!'' She grinned, even if it was at the expense of others! Marlene's introduction was sweet, painfully so. She really was a goody-two-shoes, wanting to be a good daughter and a hero. It was nice, but it didn't bring any excitement! ''My wish is to see people hurt real bad.'' She pointed at Marlene, then gestured to the audience. ''Like her, or one of them, or many of them!''

Out of every other villain or sketchy character she had met, no one else called her angel. It was something Elias exclusively did and it was a very effective way of getting her to remain loyal despite how dangerous their field of work was. Flattery gets you absolutely everywhere with Rui and whether he had consciously realized that or not she didn't particularly care about. Her thoughts ended at the fact that he had come up with a nickname for her and she was loving it. ''Powerful. ~'' She mused, watching the threads wrap around the first monster and slowly tear into it. She still didn't fully understand how his powers worked, but it was clear that he could attack from a distance with those threads.

''Really?'' She stretched her arms casually. ''I guess no one wants to go drinking when it's still so early.'' She peered up at the sun. The city was always way more fun once it set. That's when the interesting types came out of hiding and when committing crimes and getting away with it was a lot easier. ''Me?'' She asked with a devilish grin. ''Tokyo Bay is popular this time of year, more people means more fun. I'm just here to mess around and keep entertained until night falls.'' She looked over at the corpse of the monster Elias had taken down with her hands on her hips. ''Didn't expect something like this. Is a villain behind it, or are these some hero experiments gone wrong?'' Brandishing her knife she grinned back at Elias, ''Don't worry, bestie I'll make sure none of them reach you!'' She had been training since the last time they met and was able to intercept the two other monsters relatively quickly. The big question was how was she going to take them down? She could try the same maneuver, grab one of the eye stalks and rope her way up there, but while her bandages were unwrapped she wouldn't be able to regenerate so if another monster hit her while she was in the middle of climbing she would take a lot of damage.

One of the monsters slammed its claw into her, pounding her into the ground before scooping her up in its vice grip. The perfect opportunity. Any normal person might fear for their life as they were brought up to the creature's mouth, but she was smiling like a kid on Christmas morning. The monster chomped down on her and she felt several bones in her body break, but heal just as quickly. With her body now in the monster's mouth she began stabbing indiscriminately, inflicting as much damage as she could before it spat her out. It wasn't enough to down the monster, but it would undoubtedly slow it down. Looking up she noticed that the second crustacean was still running at Elias, probably assuming she had already been eaten. With a snarl she took off running again. She couldn't catch up on her own, but perhaps with some help? ''Bestie! Can you trip that one up for me?'' She pointed at the crustacean ahead of her, hoping he had the energy to spare her a quick assist.

Elias

It was already awkward to try and lead them out of the way. Mainly because of the size disparity between them and the fact that she had zero muscles to boast of thanks to her quirk. She was relieved to finally hear them speak, to know that they at least hadn't slipped into some kind of weird trance, or fallen asleep standing with their eyes closed. ''But I do worry about you!'' If that monster swallowed them, how was she going to be able to rob them herself? She wasn't worried out of the good of her heart, it was a conflict of interest and these monsters had no concept of first come first serve. She had met this person first, that meant they were her target, it was her right to attack and possibly kill them, not some fish mutation. ''Because you look like you have money.''

If she was still holding onto them, she would finally let go and reach for her knife. ''Me? Bestie, I'll be fine. Don't know you who I am? I don't get hurt.'' She said with an air of confidence. ''Now, what are you carrying? A wallet? Expensive jewelry? Maybe if you cooperate I won't kill you. ~'' She had no way of knowing that the person she was threatening had something in common with her, even if it manifested itself in very different ways. As the seconds passed she was starting to wonder whether it would just be faster to search through their pockets after she had killed them. That way she might be able to escape the flying fish monster too.

Without warning she dashed forward, trying to stab Morgana.

Morgana Moriarty

Her loyalty was cheap so long as the work was fun. Robbing a bank was one thing, assassination? Could be exciting, but the target was never a pro hero. Ambushing and raiding a convoy? Now that was something she didn't get to do every day, especially not in the company of two of her besties, one of which she was hoping to get to know a little better on this excursion. Sitting in the windowsill she kicked her legs dangling just over the floor casually. ''We're allowed to kill, right?'' She exchanged a glance with Retsu, but looked over at Elias while idly playing with her knife. Unlike Retsu she didn't have a whole arsenal to bring with her. ''If we aren't then my job's gonna be harder.'' She leaned back, relaxed as could be despite the mission that was ahead of them.

She didn't mind it, the no-killing rule. Some villains lived by it and while Rui found it weird and cringe she wasn't going to tell her employer no. If anything, reviving dead people was also quirk practice for her. ''Not that I mind, I'd do anything for my besties and a free drink.'' She smiled, figuring she could charm her way to a free drink at club Nirvana after this whole thing was over. While Retsu was a mercenary with a somewhat steady pay rate, Rui was nothing of the sort. Elias had her onboard the moment he suggested a job with a little bit of excitement. She didn't even mind a lower pay, so long as she got a front row seat to the violence and got to enjoy her free drink later. ''Before we go out there, don't be scared to be reckless besties. You won't die on my watch.'' She grinned mischievously. Even if they wanted death she was going to deny them for her own entertainment.

''A friend?'' She narrowed her eyes up at him, feeling sufficiently powerful and scary when he feigned fear of her. The fact that all this was a trick by Rav to disarm her completely went over her head, as many things did. ''Rav bestie!'' She finally had a name for him. She didn't know if it was his real one or a codename, but as evidenced by her naming sense she didn't really care. Everyone was a bestie, but they were besties in their own way. ''Wait, I never told you my name.'' Red flag? More like she was getting mega famous and this guy knowing her full name was evidence of that! Mummy who? Rui was so infamous and feared that she didn't even need her villain moniker to haunt every conversation in Tokyo. What might have scared someone like Retsu didn't phase her at all, if anything, the way she reacted to Rav saying her name was like he had just told her happy birthday.

Her eyes followed his finger as he waved it, like a cat eyeing a toy. ''Too small? Do you know what kinda money they make here? Like... Bajillions! That's how many, more than you can count in a day!'' She held her arms out to either side to emphasize just how much that was. ''Do you have a better job? Tell me, tell me!'' She was practically hopping with excitement when the squad of armed robbers rolled up. ''Get down on the ground this is a robbery!'' They were all masked, but the guy shouting was holding a rifle, which made him more important than the others. The other customers were quick to comply, but Rui wasn't having it.

''Shut up thief! We're trying to have a conversation here!!'' She immediately put herself between Rav and the armed men, climbing onto a display so she could yell at them. Wasn't robbing this store her idea? She should sue them for trying to steal her idea! The man with the rifle simply walked over and smacked Rui on the side of the head with the end of the rifle, sending her collapsing onto the floor with a weak ''ow.''

''Restrain them!'' He ushered some of his other guys over and unless Rav resisted they both soon found their hands bound behind their backs, herded into one corner with the few other customers that were unfortunate enough to be present, as well as the owner. ''Robbery and taking hostages for a ransom? Why didn't I think of that.'' She grumbled as the hit she had taken earlier had already long since faded. ''So what was it about a job?'' She turned to her job bestie, looking up at him expectantly.

Ravindra Oye

''That's right! No one believes you when you tell 'em that, they think being hornless is all great, but that's because they don't know how cool it is to have horns. The world is just full of normies.'' They spoke the same language, to the point that Rui almost thought that this girl was a Matsui too. Her quip of being closer to hell made Rui giggle. She was definitely stealing that line for her own use in the future! ''That's metal, bestie!'' She grinned her sharp teeth exposed. ''I take it you don't fear death?'' Perfectly normal questions to ask a stranger!

She blinked her eyes, confused when Meika started tearing up, but then immediately got it. Well, sorta. Rui herself never cried, but she understood that this meant Meika was either sad, or touched in some way and she couldn't imagine she was crying out of sadness. ''We're on the same wavelength, bestie!'' She swung her club around casually as she looked for the first thing she was going to break. Watching Meika break things was a joy too. Usually people never took Rui seriously, either laughing at her or trying to intimidate her due to her size, so having someone being so onboard with her silly idea was a welcome change of pace. ''Meika Hijiri, that sounds like a bestie name all right!!'' She eyed the flowerpot and pointed her golf club at it. ''A birdie? I'm a birdie champion!'' She lied through her teeth, she hadn't watched a single minute of golf, but that didn't stop her from wrecking the flowerpot with a violent golf swing. Just like Meika, she felt a rush, eager to destroy more, or watch her bestie wreck some things, or someone. ''You can use your quirk if you want! Is it destructive? I won't tell on you.'' She winked, holding an index finger up to her own lips to indicate she would keep quiet.

Meika Hijiri

When the other girl called her horn sis she immediately felt a surge of self-confidence well up inside her. Could it be that this stranger was already a bestie in the making? ''No way!! You too?'' She was planning to walk ahead of her and be all mysterious, but Meika drew her attention like a moth to a flame. ''Being cool is my whole deal too!'' She blinked and then pointed at Meika's horns. ''Horn sis! All cool people have horns, that's like, just how it is.'' She took a little handful of popcorn. ''Thanks!''

She turned and motioned for her to follow her again. ''This way bestie!'' Then she abruptly stopped and turned back around, putting her hand up to try and measure their height difference. ''Am I taller than you?'' She squinted her eyes. ''That doesn't happen often!'' She smiled as she kicked a soda can out of the way. ''It's right this way!'' Turning a corner around a mountain of junk the two stopped in front of a pile of surprisingly pristine things. Almost like they had been dumped here recently, but whoever threw away all their old stuff had placed it here with great care. A TV, couch, shelves, everything. Like the interior of someone's apartment had fallen into the junkyard completely unscathed.

But that wasn't the best part!

''I just found this place.'' She handed Meika an old bat. ''Wanna break all of this stuff together?'' She sported a devilish grin, brandishing a golf club in her other hand. Had her horn sis been boring she had considered attacking and robbing her, but she turned out to be a super cool and fun person so there would probably be no need to attack her. First impressions were important to someone as unhinged as Rui!

''I'm Rui, Rui Matsui.''
