Round 1 Environmental catastrophes. Coordinated mayhem. Tokyo had been met with many great dangers lately, which only accelerated its need for protectors. As a response to these circumstances, a challenge was hosted for the hero hopefuls of UAU, to test their abilities in handling any situation. Several support majors and gear industries were called upon to craft their creations for the event as well, to not only showcase the ingenuity of their inventions, but the ingenuity - and perhaps bravery - of the participants who will utilize the experimental equipment.
Each student would be given a device that displays a list of gear assigned to them, which could be selected to materialize before them to use. With the sheer amount of gear available, no one was expected to physically carry them all.
Once everyone received their devices and assigned items, they would be led into a room, if it could even be called that. It was less like a room and more like a white void, the doors only sliding closed to emphasize the emptiness once the last student went through. The only things everyone would see are each other and a digital clock projected on the floor, counting down the seconds.
There was also a tingling sensation in the air. Not enough to be oppressive, but enough to clue many in on the fact that some kind of field was at work. Totally unrelated to the fact that any attempt at using one's Quirk would fail.
This discovery would be short-lived as the timer reached zero and the scenery shifted.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dozens of students found themselves standing in the midst of a picturesque neighborhood. Standing atop a cozy street they were surrounded by small houses and well-maintained gardens. Unfortunately there was a minor problem. Everything was on fire.
"Welcome, contestants. Out in the field one often finds themselves in the most chaotic of situations with little time to catch their bearings. It is important to keep a cool head no matter how heated things get. Secure your own safety first, for dead heroes can protect no one. For those so inclined there is a child-sized mannequin within each house that you can carry with you to safety. It won't give extra credit but you'll get to feel good about yourself. Keep your limits in mind everyone and best of luck."
The moment the announcer finished speaking the fire began to spread across the ground, inching closer and closer to the contestants. Several fire hydrants with hoses attached to them were spread around the neighborhood, allowing one to temporarily fight off the fire should they be so inclined. The perceptive of the bunch might notice that the fire didn't quite seem to reach any of the roofs either. What other solutions could be found, well, who could say?
Welcome to Armor Wars, UAU Edition! As a reminder, all participants must post at least once per round, but can skip one round if necessary. A second skip will result in no tokens being given. No max on the number of posts per round. There are six rounds total, each a week long, with an optional seventh for everyone to write their closing replies.
If you wish to use your gear, add a TLDR on its usage in your post and we'll roll a die for it. If the roll fails, its drawback is revealed and you're free to RP it out as you see fit
Additionally, if you want to have any cool moments with your character but have it be kept as a surprise, or if you're just unsure of whether an action's viable, feel free to DM me(Jinx) and we could try to work it out!

"... oh, this sccenario assignment is just mean."
Miroru's hair flew in the heat-driven winds off the inferno raging through the neighborhood, expression flattened in irritation. And understandably, too. Miroru's quirk was fine-tuned to its limits, and putting out a wide-spread fire was about the absolute best fit for its usage under normal circumstances.
These, however, were not normal circumstances.
Looking down at herself, Miroru couldn't help but huff in irritation, struggling in the massive sweater draped over her form. Grumbling, she rolled the sleeves into themselves so she could at least keep her arms free, and expose the bodysuit underneath. It was supposed to let her move along any surface she wanted, which- with her seriously impressive speeds- was very, very welcome, but it didn't stop her feeling absolutely blind with the inability to read the energy she KNEW was coursing all around.
After a moment, though, she had a brainflash and unrolled the sweater, hurrying over to a hydrant and throwing the sweater down- and blasting it with the hose to absolutely DRENCH it in water before squirming back into the soaked fabric, trusting in the water to protect her from flames for the moment. For the moment, until an opponent presented themselves, she had every intention of focusing on clearing out the mannequins one building at a time, using the hydrants to re-soak the sweater and blast paths through the fire into each building- at least until things get interesting!
I can pay no price too great for justice.

Amilia felt naked without her swords, without Cal. She could still feel his presence in her mind tracing back to the blade back in the changing room but it still felt wrong to be without him. As she walked into the room the competition would take place in, she felt a strange tingling sensation as suddenly her connection to Cal was cut. She had to hold in a shout and the panic that wanted to rise up within her as she lost connection to her best friend. The ever-comforting voice that was normally with her was gone.
Letting out a deep breath, Amilia focused on the event as flaming buildings began to rise up around her. Letting her mind focus on the training her parents had drilled into her, the swordswoman needed to get a handle on her surroundings. Hearing the instructions they were given, the girl knew exactly what she needed to do first.
As the fire began to spread, Amilia dashed towards the closest building that had the least amount of fire on its exterior. With her parkour and acrobatic skills, she used them to try and get herself up on top of the building as quickly as possible to get a better view of the new location she found herself in. As she got closer to the roof she noticed that there wasn’t much fire up on the roof, which was interesting. If that continued to be the case it would surely make her mobility easier as she preferred to move over the rooftops.
Once on the roof, she started to look around to see if she could find any location that could be a good gathering point. There was no point starting to rescue people who would just get trapped in the streets when she could only carry one of two at once. Once she found somewhere she could take people she could then try and save the “people”.

| Makitori Hebi | @winding.snake.nāga Location: UA, Tokyo, Japan. | Current Status: Taking part in Armor Wars, Arena 3 if you wanna watch. Now Playing: Pagan Fury - Flood Of Fire 'What am I doing here?'
This was a televised UAU event, Hebi's first. When it had been announced, she initially had no plans of taking part. If she was broadcasted for the world to see, she thought, then what if someone who knew Makihara Nagako all those years ago saw her now? Her appearance was incredibly distinctive, too much so for the 10 years of growth she'd had to change anything, really. But, a week or so ago, her friend and saviour had said something to push away those fearful thoughts. "Whether you like it or not, being a hero will shine a spotlight on you for the rest of your life. You were right to run away back then, but you're so much stronger now. Go show them what they'd have to deal with if they tried you. Show them that you're no longer afraid." So... now she was here. A strange device that held the keys to getting through this exercise was the only item in her possession. She stood in the white void, wearing her sorry excuse for a 'hero outfit' with pride. Little more than streetwear, really. Strangely, even though Hebi had been informed of the 'no quirks' thing before today, she felt nothing as the door to the room closed and the countdown reached zero. 'Huh, guess I'm not strong enough to nerf yet.'
As the white void faded to various shades of orange and red, there was no noticeable reaction from Hebi. She half-listened to the voice explaining the scenario, taking 「The Social Distancer」out of her menu and putting on the gauntlets/bracers. She realised that her big ol' laser cannon probably wouldn't be much use in this particular scenario, but the canes may also find some use. Speaking of lasers, she turned her head to Miroru as she spoke. "What, did you expect it to be kind?" She said, with no obvious sarcasm or derision. She'd never seen Rokuhane Miroru in action, so had no clue that there was another meaning to her complaint beyond the challenge's difficulty. "We'll get through this. We're all strong. Anyone who wants protection, on me. I'll protect you." With that, she focused in on something that her eyes had wandered to. Why weren't the roofs on fire? Hebi left Miroru to handle that fire hydrant, making her way as fast as she could (not very) to a two-storey house nearby.
In the spirit of fairness, Hebi wanted to avoid leaning on the pretty big advantage of her tail during this trial. Of course, it was her strongest limb, she couldn't not use it. If she tried that, she'd be stuck dragging around a 240 lbs weight attached to her back. She'd be immobile. So, she settled for only using her tail where she could otherwise just walk. With her Distancer-clad hands, Hebi utilised her still-considerable strength to bust down the door and see the also-burning interior of the house. Now, Hebi wasn't interested in the baby dolls. They earned her nothing, and this was clearly an exercise in self-preservation above all else. In a real scenario, the circumstances would be so much different. But, while inside the house, she might as well try to get the baby, right? She looked around for a minute or so, taking the mannequin with her if she could find it, then headed upstairs. Next step: find a window.
tl;dr - Apprehensive to even be here (the whole 'live broadcasted event' thing), but gonna do her best anyway. - Assessing the situation, takes out and puts on the gauntlets as the scenario is being explained. - deadpan_snarker.exe ( Miroru ) - Leaving Firefox to her business, time to get the high ground. - Busts a door open while wearing the gauntlets, slithering upstairs to try and get on roof through window. - Yoinks one (1) baby along the way if she can find it quickly. - No equipment activated yet.Jinx Amilia Pierce Sendo Orochi

Round 2 No matter what the contestants did the fire kept spreading and already several of them had vanished in a flash of blue light, seemingly whisked away to safety as they passed out due to the smoke. Clearly not every student was as capable of judging their limits as the rest.
But could they truly be blamed? The very horizon seemed colored in oranges, browns and reds from the sheer amount of fire covering the neighborhood. The very picture of an apocalyptic disaster. Luckily the students had something to distract them from the hopeless situation.
"Help me. Help me. Help me. Help me."
Each of the child-sized mannequins tonelessly repeated the phrase over and over, their mouths opening and closing like that of a nutcracker.
Thump.
From the distance a loud sound became audible. And then another. And another.
Thump. Thump. Thump.
Through the smoke cloud large figures could be seen slowly getting closer and closer with every ground-shaking step.
"What matters most? Is it the big picture? The little ones crushed underfoot? Do you value your own survival most, or perhaps is it glory and fame you care for? When the chips are down your true nature comes out. Make your choice."
With a click of static the announcer's message ended leaving the students to deal with the situations at hand.

| Makitori Hebi | @winding.snake.nāga Location: UA, Tokyo, Japan. | Current Status: Taking part in Armor Wars, Arena 3 if you wanna watch. Now Playing: Derivakat - Doomsday Well, that escalated quickly. As much as a situation can escalate from everything being on fire, anyway. Hebi lifted herself onto the roof of the building, just as the baby doll she'd been carrying had started to talk. And talk, and talk, and talk. Hebi resisted the non-zero urge to punt/launch the fake child into the flames. No! Bad! Not heroic thoughts. Her thoughts turned to Marlene, funnily enough. Did being artificial mean the entity was inherently less important or valuable? Not like these things were even remotely near her level, but the thought remained. Just as Hebi was going to head back down to street-level to participate more (what kind of hero just stood by in a situation like this, instead of trying to save people, even if it was the smartest move?), some much larger threats presented themselves.
What could she do, right now? Hebi wasn't a rescue hero, not by a long shot. She'd save people where she could, but she was too slow to get around and seek people out. She could see the faster, smarter heroes going for that already. No, Hebi was a tank. A fighter. A protector. If she could get in the way, be a shield against the villains, then hopefully lives could be saved that way too. Hebi didn't have time to think. If she let herself look at this pragmatically, she'd let that self-preseveration above all attitude she'd learnt creep back in. The scared, abused kid that she'd come here to prove she wasn't any more. No, now was the time for... ACTION!
Hebi 'equipped' the「Laser Cannon」. Bracing herself with her tail (in case, somehow, this light weapon had recoil), she fired the heavy weapon at the closest of the giants. Unless anything catastrophic happened, she'd then head down towards the oncoming titans on the ground below. She called out, shouting over the roaring flames. "Sweater-san, Acrobat-san! Keep it up! I'll try and keep them away from you, wish me luck!" The weapon, unless broken, was still in the serpent's hands. Let them come, she'd endure as best she could. She had to.
tl;dr - Takes the baby she has up onto the roof, leaving it there. - Fires the「Laser Cannon」at one of the giants.- Descends to the street, towards the big guys, 'on foot'. - "Ganbatte Miroru, ganbatte Amilia Pierce!" Jinx Sendo Orochi

Miroru grimaced as she noticed their compatriots starting to dissipate into blue light, several struggling with smoke inhalation. Miroru, for her part, was very, very familiar with the dynamics of fires and their impact on breathable air- one of the only aspects of fires she had to worry about in normal situations- and she made sure to preserve her functionality by leveraging her speed during rescues to get back to breathable air ASAP.
A voice pulled her focus off her rescue efforts, and she had to resist the urge to sigh. Of all the features for the other girl to call out, it was the dopey sweater? Nyehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
At least it was an effective term of address.
"Go for it! My kit's really not designed for this- those things are way too big for a net or an arrow to do anything to. Yell for evac if you need it- I ought to be able to get back and get you to safety if it comes down to it, okay?" Miroru yelled over at Hebi as she darted into another building, silently screaming curses at the lack of her quirk in exactly the sort of situation it excelled in!

Amilia was able to get a good look at her surroundings on the roof of the building. Her high vantage point also allowed her a perfect view of the massive figures off in the distance getting ever closer. “Bloody hell…” She muttered as the giants appeared from the smoke. How was she supposed to fight something like that? She didn’t even have a sword! All she had according to the device was some shock shurikens! They would do nothing to those things!
Hesitating for a moment in indecision, the white-haired girls' attention was stolen by the appearance of a big laser cannon wielded by one of the more unique students, a white-skinned girl with a massive tail. Hearing her call out it took her a minute to figure out what she meant when she realized she was talking to her. Steeling her resolve she nodded to herself as she jumped into action. “Got it!”
With the sound of the fake children as a beacon, the swordswoman swung herself down from the roof into the nearest window to make her way to the child. Keeping herself low she would grab as many as she could on her way out of the building until she made it to the others. “Does anyone have other ways to clear a path or transport more people? I have a big mechanical bull I can use to try and make a clear path but it can only really care for a single person and I’m not sure how effective it will be!” She said as she pulled out said bull. “Snake girl! This thing is supposed to be fast so I’ll come back for you if they get too close!” She added as she jumped onto the bull. “Just pretend this is a horse… A knight knows how to ride a horse… How am I supposed to protect everyone if I can’t even do that?!” She muttered to herself before she took control of the contraption and sent it full speed ahead. If she can make a bigger space with less fuel for the fire on the road then maybe they’ll have more space to breathe…
TLDR: -Up on the roof and notices the monsters in the distance. -Hears snake girl and starts moving -Goes in through a window and grabs a child before rejoining the others on the street -asks if anyone else has ways to transport or clear a path -activates her Rough [Rider (Mechanical Bull)] (S) and gets in. Uses it to clear a path to make the road safer -says she'll come back for snake girl if needed

Round 3
As with any cozy neighborhood the sound of children playing and distant clamor could be heard.
"Help me. Help me. Help me. Help me."
Thump. Thump. Thump.
Unlike most other cozy neighborhoods however the situation in this one seemed to get direr by the second even without the involvement of a Homeowner's Association.
The fire continued to spread, albeit slower than before, consuming more and more of the traversable terrain. Only the street cleared by Amelia and a few other spots where the fire hydrants had seen usage remained relatively fire-free.
Even the rooftops began to grow hot, as clear of a signal as any that before long they too would be set ablaze. Yet for now they held and were clearly used to great effect. Something that was clear for all to see when a massive beam of light fired from one of them causing one of the approaching giants to fall with a thunderous crash.
The remainder reached the outskirts and almost seemed to be absorbing any fire they came into contact with. It was enough to make any adult panic, let alone a child.
"I'm scared. I'm scared. I'm scared. I'm scared. I'm scared."
All of the mannequins started walking towards the nearest participant, latching on to them and refusing to let go once they caught on.
"When doing what is right those who cannot fend for themselves may become a burden to your efforts. Where does your focus lie? What choice will you make? Only you can decide."
The rescued mannequins laying on the street stood up, their eyes lighting up just like the ones closer to the students. With slow, almost vulnerable motions they clumsily took small steps in the direction of whoever they could see.
Worse than the ones on the street however were the ones coming from the burning houses, the melting synthetics of unsaved forms sloughing off with each step they took. The crackling flames moved with them, carried through their burning clothes. Compared to the fire covering the giants still approaching in the distance it was nothing. With every step they took an ever hotter wave of heat blasted towards the contestants.
Whether it was a problem small or big, if it was not dealt with soon it was bound to get out of hand.
Item usage: -Laser Cannon: Usage successful -Rough Rider: Usage successful

It was an entirely unusual situation for Miroru. She was used to throwing herself at the scariest thing around, angling to keep their focus on her and her tricks while she abused her speed and maneuverability to keep them wasting time and energy accomplishing nothing while she put her quirk to work tearing them down.
She couldn't do any of that now.
Instead, her best chances are to try to work with the girl on the bull, using the path it cleared to usher the faux civilians away from the disaster, relocating them to safe- or at least safer- distances as best she could on foot. She was still fast- amazingly so, thanks to the work she'd put into training her body beyond its limits- but there were so many civilians and only so many she could help dire-
A flash hit Miroru as she realized she could still help direct the civilians she couldn't carry. Maybe she couldn't SEND them to safety, but they were following her. She could LEAD them there.
That became her focus, working to try to get as many a she could following her, using her speed and agility to avoid getting grabbed and slowed down, but still leading the growing mob of dummies towards safety, using any hydrants still running to douse the burning ones leaving their homes, trying to hope those with better tools than her could make a bigger difference in stopping the flaming titans.
And trying not to worry about whether this was how she left other people feeling.
I can pay no price too great for justice.

Post by Makitori Hebi on Jan 31, 2024 23:14:12 GMT
There stood Makitori Hebi, defiant. The giants were many and strong, sending heatwaves their way. Facing this threat, Hebi couldn't help but feel incredibly outmatched. But, knowing that at least two of her fellow students were fast enough to make rescues and willing to support her, she was able to stand strong. The little... false babies were even greater in numbers, Hebi hadn't quite grasped the scale of 'one per building' in this neighbourhood until now. Some of them were on fire, same as just about everything in this no-longer-picturesque hellscape. A large number of them were approaching her from all sides, far more than there should've been. She'd only saved one, which was now making its way down to her. Looking around, she saw the cause. As each more ambitious hero hopeful had brung the dolls to the street, then been evacuated as they couldn't handle the heat, she became the nearest target for the 'scared civilians'. Once again, she found herself struggling to resist her impulse to silence them. Young, defenseless, crying. Bite, tear, s- shut up!
No, the dolls could touch her. She'd be a rock, a protector. That was her job. What couldn't happen was those flaming ones getting anywhere near her, though. Thinking fast, Hebi turned to face the largest group of the fiery dolls and placed her middle fingers and thumbs together.「The Social Distancer」activated, pushing the group back in a neat inverted cone shape. Together. If it worked, they'd be (at least temporarily) disabled and corralled. If it didn't, they'd be closer but it might still work. Hebi would just be a whole lot more exposed.
Next, equipping one of her wooden canes, Hebi took it in her tail and stretched out to a nearby fire hydrant. Using the extra reach and leverage of the cane, she'd try and rip the hydrant off the ground & water main that bound it in place. This would hopefully douse the area, creating a little safe zone for her and extinguishing the rapidly-melting baby-droids. If the cane was insufficient, she'd just have to expose herself more to rip this thing off with all her own strength. Again, not the safest move, but she had to trust in her plan here.
tl;dr - Safety net established - Where the fuck did all these babies come from, I saved one (1)? - Burning babies need to back off and cool off. - Step 1: 「The Social Distancer」is used to push 'em away and into a loose pile. - Step 2: The「Deck of Canes」is used (w/ tail) to knock/rip a fire hydrant out of the ground and unleash the water. - Awaiting results, post 1/2. | Makitori Hebi | @winding.snake.nāga Location: UA, Tokyo, Japan. | Current Status: Taking part in Armor Wars, Arena 3 if you wanna watch. Now Playing: CG5 - Injustice "Great idea! Lead away the ones that aren't fixated on me, which I really hope is most of them!" The anxiety that prompted her wishful thinking unfortunately did not show in Hebi's speech, as she shouted in Miroru's general direction. She was so fast, faster than Hebi could ever hope to be. Did her own mutant nature have something to do with that? She didn't have time to ponder that question. Curiosity could be satisfied later. While collecting (a group of) the 'civilians' on fire into a pile had gone off without a hitch, it was the all-important follow-up that had gone awry. As should've been expected, the wood of the cane snapped faster than the metal or concrete did. A brittle lever wouldn't lift shit. Hebi, at first, looked for a way to achieve her plan without relying on the crutch of her tail's reach, but couldn't find one quickly. Her options for mobility were quickly being limited, too.
That second of hesistance and the couple steps needed to re-position herself for the manual hydrant-breaking had cost her a bit of that buffer the earlier success had bought her. Cooling down rapidly as she and the surrounding road were soaked, Hebi prayed that the fire all around would keep her temperature up and steeled herself for the next stage. Once again, she physically braced herself against the ground. Noting no recoil, this time it was just for better aim. She let loose the「Laser Cannon」on the Giants approaching once more. Fire! Presuming no spontaneous explosions from the cannon, she readied another shot. Fire! Presuming no overheating rendering the weapon useless, she lined up the last shot of this burst. Fire!
Unfortunately, that's all Hebi could manage before a s e a r i n g p a i n in her leg caused the cannon to stray far off-target before she could pull the trigger. One of the fiery fuckers had grabbed her, yep. That wasn't good. She didn't see any more of them fixated on her, but there were several not on fire.
tl;dr - Great minds think alike! Miroru (note: she hopes that the ones not attaching themselves to her are the majority, to clear up potentially ambiguous wording) - Off-balance and vulnerable, but Steps 1 & 2 ultimately successful. - Step 3: Using the new brief safe-space, buckle down and blast up to 3 more of the giants with the「Laser Cannon」, dependent on the thing not blowing up or overheating the first 2 times. - Awaiting escalation, post 2/2. As Amilia continued to clear a path things began to take a turn for the creepy. The child-like dolls suddenly stood up and started walking towards the closest person. Even the ones that were on fire! The swordswoman barely interacted with children in the first place, always staying home to train, so she had no idea how she was supposed to deal with this! At least the problem of moving them was solved now.
“I just need to clear a path…” She muttered as powered forward on her bull to keep the path clear. She lowered the speed just enough that she would outrun them but not lose her as a target. For any that got too close, she would pull out the shurikens she was given and throw them at any of the flaming dolls approaching her. She couldn’t help if she was stopped by them.
As more and more dolls appeared, Amilia found herself forced to use one of her one-use items, the strange stimulants she had been given. Grabbing her Ex-sample that boosted her awareness she quickly downed the test tube. With the boost, she would hopefully be able to keep any dolls that got too close away with the electric shurikens.
tldr -Continuing to clear a path with the bull (usage of bull) -Not sure how to deal with children so just lets them follow her -uses her [Shockrikens] to keep away any that get too close -goes at a speed just fast enough to stay away from them but slow enough that they don't lose aggro on her -downs one of her [Ex-sample]s to boost her awareness -all 3 items used. lets hope RNGesus is kind to me

Round 4 Through the cooperation of three students a safe zone of sorts was established and the innocents -as well as several other students- were led to safety. With Amilia leading from the front and keeping the street clear Miroru had a neat route to escort her crowd of dolls through as well. A crowd that seemed very interesting in coming along.
"Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me."
The dolls spoke all at the same time, the words spilling over each contestant like streams of water. Perhaps the metaphor was caused by the surroundings for water was in short supply and the heat was slowly growing beyond unbearable. With loud thumps the source of the increasing heat came closer and closer, the closest ones held at bay by the actions of Hebi just long enough for the road to remain clear as the group moved on. One laser fired and a giant went down. A second fired and another toppled. Only on the third did things get... complicated.
As the two giants toppled and a large wave of heat was unleashed upon the surroundings something else came with it. Memories.
A young girl standing amidst a burning village. Despair on her features, eyes scanning to and fro with fear and expectation. Deeper into the flames she went, a name on her lips. It echoed over and over until the girl's throat went raw. She stumbled and-
Within a split second the wave moved past and the memory vanished like snow before the sun. Yet the threat had not vanished with them. The loud thumps were nearly matched in intensity by the crunching of houses trampled underfoot when the giants reached the edge of the large neighborhood, their approach momentarily slowed by Hebi's efforts but not halted. All the same more and more dolls flowed from side streets and towards the students. The situation looked hopeless yet there was a way to move forward.
Find where the road leads before the giants catch up. Fail and who knows what shall occur?
Item usage: -Social Distancer: Usage successful -Deck of Canes: Drawback triggered. -Laser Cannon use 1: Usage successful -Laser Cannon use 2: Usage successful -Laser Cannon use 3: Drawback triggered -Rough Rider: Usage successful -Shockrickens: Usage successful -Ex-sample: Usage successful
Deck of Canes Drawback: The wood is weathered and of questionable durability, canes might break upon use.
Laser Cannon Drawback: It’s unwieldy, takes a lot of time to charge and has a chance to get so hot that it burns the user.
Triggering drawbacks can now also be requested as a "cool" moment!
The next round will begin on 07/02/2024 @ 4pm PST

| Makitori Hebi | @winding.snake.nāga Location: UA, Tokyo, Japan. | Current Status: Taking part in Armor Wars, Arena 3 if you wanna watch. Now Playing: Pagan Fury - Broken Heroes Makitori Hebi was not fast, not by any stretch of the imagination. She was a quick-thinker, perceptive, but the bulk of her body restrained her. Weighed down by the 'civilians' on every part of her body besides her head, she was not merely slow. She was immobile. Or, so it seemed. She wasn't moving, in any case. The one on fire had burned the flesh of her lower leg pretty badly, but she could struggle through that pain. She could carry this weight, but... you have to escape. Hebi dropped the「Laser Cannon」, recalling it to her inventory quickly. It was useless right now, and would just burn her hands if she continued to hold it. 3 of those titans downed was a pretty good run, honestly, given she was the only one trying. So, with her main weapon gone, and the giants still advancing along with the tide of 'civilians', what could she do? Too weak to fight, too slow to run. The fire that burned in her chest, behind her stone face, flared through her throat and became her voice. "Help me out, here! I can't get out as fast as you guys, gonna need some backup!" With this plea screamed out, Hebi turned back towards the oncoming heralds of destruction. Turned around until she found whatever camera was recording her. To face whatever crowd had assembled throughout the country to watch their struggles. She stood, again, defiant. "I was born Nagako, now I am Nāga. I will live, today, and succeed. There is no other option other than surrendering." She began to move in Miroru and Amilia's direction. She could carry this weight, as long as she focused - focused hard on each step. She could move as fast as she always did, strong as she was. This was not fast enough, but it was something. She was trying.
tl;dr - Assessing the situation... situation does not look good, gang. - Tasukete! Miroru Amilia Pierce - Defiant speech. - Baby stepsJinx
