It's my favorite thing ever!" she would open the door to the place and let the much taller girl enter first. When they were inside they'd see a mix of traditional Japanese architecture lit up with neon purple lights and the sounds of people laughing. "ooh. This is gonna be fun I've never been to this place before and..." she looked around to get a hint for her next question "I wonder if they have bottle service?"

If he wanted her number, she would make it challenging for him. He had already struck out once, and given his propensity for being a goober, there was a high chance he would do it again. "It is nice of you to get Jun an iced tea, though" she added, unaware that Sebastian was the worst in his decision-making. She would relieve Freja of her first aid kit, inspecting Shion to see if there was any lasting damage. Besides some dirt on his clothes, he seemed fine, but she would continue to observe him just in case. Just...not too close since that broom thing was a little sketchy. Luckily girl scout Jun was on the case to run interference and it seemed to have distracted her from the drinking "issue."

So Marlene wasn't organic. Interesting. She would cup her chin with her hand brow furled as she thought about the situation more. This made things a bit more complicated but possible. "What if..." She would hold up a finger to Zen to get him to stop talking so she could focus before quickly interjecting as he got her name wrong again "Sumi." she would make a point to point to herself so he'd understand what she was trying to get at. Before she could conclude, she would raise an eyebrow at the gesture Zen would make towards Marlene on her behalf. They were an odd duo — one with extreme manners and the other without any. Marlene was an absolute sweetheart, though; her "condition" made Sumi feel even more indebted to her for the beautiful gift. She would eagerly take Marlene's hand, clasping it between her own two, and make eye contact. "You don't have to ask. We're already friends, aren't we?" she would flash a smile from ear to ear before continuing her earlier train of thought. "Even with the status as...automaton would be more correct than a robot, yes?" Marlene was designed to be as similar to a human as possible "If I can get the help of one of our engineers or even someone at UAU with the know-how, I think I can still do it." she would snap his fingers, suddenly having an idea "Synthetics! If you don't have a genetic code, I could apply the same process through engineering." she would approach Marlene and place her hands on her shoulders excitedly "You gave me the gift of George I'd like to repay the favor. What do you say?" the words would linger in the air for a moment before an attendant cleared his throat to address Sumi. "Miss Okita." she would raise a finger to correct him "Su-mi" nervously he would correct himself "S-Sumi. We're looking to depart in about 10 minutes. Should we delay for any late guests?" Sumi considered the question for a moment before addressing the group. "Anyone else you guys know who I should be waiting for?"

[attr="class,"memoryDarkbody"]Sumi was a little surprised at Frejas reaction to her using her quirk she was sure someone who attended UAU wasn't easily surprised but she attributed it to being nervous. She seemed generally uncomfortable in her skin but had been slowly warming up as they continued conversing, which probably had more to do with them both sipping on their drinks than anything Sumi had done. She opted to sit while Sebastian, likely frustrated at his "plan" failing denied her friendship which she honestly didn't take too personally. It wasn't uncommon to run into people who were putting on airs because of who she was or what she could provide. A shame as Sebastian was cute once he shed his persona. Before she could dig into Freja's explanation of why she enrolled or even hear Sebastian's they were greeted with another new face familiar to at least one of them with one of her attendants in tow looking very stressed out as he tried to pull Jun back from interrupting. Sumi caught the look on his face first and heard Jun speak second "Why don't you take a break? Enjoy the party!" she would direct towards the attendant who sighed in relief and went to work elsewhere knowing he hadn't ruined her night. Sebastian spilled the beans as to who she was before she could even ask "Jun is a nice name. I'm Sumi Okita. Nice to meet you!" might have sounded condescending to her who was all riled up but it was genuine. With another puff of her cigarette, she would craft another chair for her to sit in if she desired "Please join us I'd be more than happy to listen to your complaint" regardless of whether she took the offer just as quickly as he came Sebastian left urging Jun to go with him. Sumi wouldn't stop her if she did but would engage her further if she stayed.

It was then that a much larger man who approach the group and seemed very familiar with Freja referred to her as 'Batgirl' She would attempt to meet Freja's eyes with a raised eyebrow silently curious as to why/how someone would be referred to as batgirl unless...Ohhhhh! She must have been able to turn into a bat or something of that sort why else would she be called batgirl? Because of this revelation, she didn't ask any further questions instead directing her following line to Zen "Welcome! I can't speak for everyone here but I'm still pretty sober. Sumi Okita I just enrolled in the Hero Department at UAU" she gestured to Freja "Any friend of Frejas is a friend of mine." he was dressed much more casually than anyone else, which Sumi felt was a good sense of character. Being authentic was a big plus in her eyes. Most of the partygoers were starting to arrive shortly after she was greeted by another girl who wasn't taller than the last one. Her body language was much more rigid so much so that she made Freja seem like she was the life of the party. Instead of Sumi introducing herself Marlene immediately gave a very informative introduction that eliminated any guesswork on her end even knowing who she was by full name before saying anything. "It's a pleasure to meet you Marlene I'm glad you could make it and I eve- huh?" She was completely caught off guard by the gift. She fully expected everyone to show up empty-handed given they were about to party on a yacht and since it would be rude not to open it she did just that to find the chocolate bar and the hand-crafted wind-up toy. So Cute. Even if it weren't formal, she would rise from her seat, take a few steps forward, and wrap her arms gently around Marlene, hugging her in gratitude "This is super sweet. Thank you, Marlene!" she took a mental note that Marlene felt as if she was made of metal which...wasn't the weirdest thing and she would DEFINITELY follow up on that in a few moments.

"Quite a few more of you now" She looked around and saw that the other attendants were busy so she would take it upon herself "Can I get any of you a drink? Marlene, you seem like you'd be a Mai Tai type" She would flash a smile and make a gesture to her own seat for the newcomers to get themselves situated, taking another large sip from her own glass to finish off her drink in one go "I'm going to get myself a refill so for any special requests you can ju-"

[break][break] She would nearly jump as not far from them someone had fallen out of the sky and crashed into the ship. Her attendants had already started to move but she was the closest and wasn't concerned with the state of her yacht as much as the person who had done the actual crashing. She would dash over crouching next to Shion to support his head "Are you okay??? We have a first aid kit but I need to know you're not badly hurt before I move you" She took another drag from her cigarette holding her breath literally and figuratively because if Shion said they were okay to move she would pick him up and create a chair for him sit on for the time being. This night had been more eventful and she hadn't even suggested shots yet. UAU was looking to be a blast if these were the people she was classmates with.

Sumi quickly checked her watch to see that it was precisely 5pm and there was already a relatively large turnout for this early in the night. She was used to being punctual when it came to work, but it wasn't a big deal when it was a party. A bunch of students still poured out of the cars, some even arriving in their own vehicles and walking towards the yacht. The usual commentary was heard as they passed her on their way up and some stopped to thank her for the invite, but they were more eager to get to the free food, drinks, or taking pictures. The first person who stopped for more than a brief moment to chat was a much taller girl with a bright yellow dress "That's me" she would flash Freja a smile "Freja Helt. That must be Danish? Nice to see transfer students enrolled in UAU as well." she would give a slight bow "Sumi Okita, Hero Department and yes this is my yacht. It's a pleasure to meet you" She noticed Frejas eyes wandering and given her body language it was likely she was uncomfortable "Don't worry about all this. That color suits you! No need to feel so awkward" She would look to her right as she flagged down one of her attendants "Whiskey Sour please and thank you" The attendant would bow and then turned to Freja awaiting her own order.

As the pair stood chatty another approached intending to start a conversation. He was dressed better than most of the attendees and even Sumi herself. From his introduction, he knew Freja previously which Sumi figured meant that this was another classmate in the hero department. His accent likely meant she was dealing with another foreigner 'Two for two' she thought to herself as Sebastian properly introduced himself. He seemed rather shaggy if there was one thing she picked up from her social obligations it was to spot a brown noser from a mile away. Even still he did make an effort to show up so she had to respect at least that "Sumi Okita. Nice to meet you, Sebastian." she would step a bit closer to Freja cupping her mouth so Sebastian couldn't read her lips and spoke softly with the subtly of a bullhorn "So you know this guy what's his deal? Is he usually like this or is he as shaggy as I think?" she would also gesture to the attendant to take Sebastian's drink order.

A little ways away another attendant would approach Jun and welcome her to the party "Would you like a cocktail? We can make anything you would like. We have non-alcoholic options too. If you'd rather see our drink offerings please feel free to head over to the bar" he smiled as he waited for Jun to tell him what she wanted. Sumi had explicitly told all of the attendants not to take I.Ds. It was more entertaining that way.
