Yāojīng Suzui was not who she ever would have expected to share the same DNA and while Iphi's first instinct was to contact Calli and then her parents in that order she opted not to. Yaojing had a reputation for acting recklessly which most have been a family trait because Iphi was just as reckless and impulsive years ago when she was a student at UAU. [break][break] This situation in particular was different to her. It came down to logic vs. ethics. This knowledge was sent to her via mail by what she presumed was an accident as she hadn't done any DNA testing on herself or through medical personnel in a few years and this record cleary and methodically with a 50% match. Even considering the 3% differtial being considered it was an exact match. Iphi had even taken another look at her own DNA to make sure she wasn't imagining things. Once she confirmed this, she mulled it over, not knowing exactly what to do but after a quick chat with Sadako who could always read her like a book she decided it was best to let Yaoyao know and let her decide what she wanted to do with this information. [break][break] So she sent a message to Yaoyao's school email 'Please meet me in my office whenever you have time today' not including the motive since she didn't feel like that was fair not to share the news in person. She didn't know exactly what she wanted out of this but she loved her little sister and if Yaoyao was related to her, well she'd love her too. Opening her desk drawer she'd look at the wrapped gift before closing it. Hopefully, they'll be able to connect today. [break][break] That was what family was for, after all. She'd prime her own "handgun" and slip on her shield and position herself next to Yoko. Hebiru would be the frontliner which meant Iphi was the support/defender. If only they had someone like Lucille or Stellar to scout out ahead but those two were also busy living their own lives and frankly Iphi doubted they would be interested and Jun was still technically under house arrest so she wasn't an option either. Everyone who dabbled in science and tech research knew this; it was a famous quote for a reason. In Iphi's case it was integral to her character and how she aimed to help the next generation surpass the last one. In fact these particular classes of students showed the most promise among the entire base than any Iphi had seen prior. Something in her gut told her these weren't isolated incidents and the probability she calculated given the proximity to each other time wise nearly confirmed this theory. She had been in the field as a Pro Hero for nearly a decade now, and she had never seen such a frequency of large scale attacks. They were all too coordinated. [break][break] Thankfully Hebiru was coming to a similar conclusion and when she discussed a potential investigation Iphi was already preparing for one. Luckily for Sadako, who was on the hook for support, there wasn't nearly as much room for more than 3 people. In a twist, it was Hebiru's younger sister, Yoko, who asked to fill the last spot. For what purpose, she was unsure, but fostering the growth of a new generation was ultimately part of her duties, and Iphi had no reason not to oblige. The Yanai sisters didn't exactly get along which was not foreign to Iphi when she considered her little sister Aella and how she spoke to her, but Hebiru seemed nonplussed. [break][break] Iphi wasn't silent because she didn't have anything more to say, and she was planning for nearly every event that could possibly happen to the three of them. If her automaton wasn't still in the beta stages, she would have brought it along, giving them much more flexibility. "I believe she prefers Wendy." She would correct Hebiru as it was important to treat people, artificial or otherwise, as human. "Truth be told, it wouldn't surprise me if some of the research Wendy's parents and the other scientists created didn't end up here." Her eyes would drift to Yoko, wanting to make sure she had a chance to speak up if she wanted to. "You've become good friends with Wendy, haven't you, Yoko? This, combined with a chat with Hebiru, prompted her to draft up blueprints of something she had only ever thought was a fantasy - a robot clone. So she needed the ultimate creation: a Swiss army knife that could allow her to be in two places at once. A creation that could be the ultimate partner. She had called in all her favors from connections to get the proper equipment and a month of prep work resulting in only one piece of the puzzle left - a prodigy. With Supernova and Sirius making their appearance and the smokescreen her comms were going wild. The teachers and Pro Heroes weren't exactly 'giving it there all' as this was just an exercise, but this wasn't the only battlefield whose tactical was Iphi herself. It was times like this that she wish she had her special project ready...but she still had to finalize the blueprints and share them with one of the brightest students in the Support Class. [break][break] "I'll move to coordinates A-12." She would open the comms to respond to another Pro Hero calling out for her backup. With enough Pros on this battlefield, she didn't have much else to offer tactically. "Apparel. I'm going to leave things to you, make sure to give them a good scare and if helps do what Chuck would do. I'm going to fire you in that direction I saw Rahul in last." Iphi was very much aware of who Kazashi's husband was, but she didn't view hero society as black and white clearly Kazashi had something special. She'd hit her comms again with a direct line to Sadako: "Sada, we're needed elsewhere." then she'd address Anya and Mai, "Can you two do your best to keep them busy? And whichever of you is close enough to free Glepnir please so." She would then charge her gauntlet and fire once at the ground beneath them, clearing enough of the smokescreen to restore their vision and she loaded another 'round' before aiming Kazashi, in her new transformation, and firing at where she had an approximate idea of where Rahul was last. With that she had done what she could and would leave in the opposite direction. [break][break] tl;dr Iphi gives some last minute tactical advice to everyone, shoots her Pneumatic Cannon at the ground to clear some smoke, gets Sadako on the comms and asks Anya or Mai to free her so they can support another battlefield, Shoots Kazashi at Rahul's approximate location.
