She knew that's not exactly what he meant, but she said it anyways and looked at him with a lot of determination in her face. "And don't just flail it around! You don't gotta act tough and shit, you hurt yourself, rest." She would try to put her hands up so he'd stop, but thankfully he did on his own. "Hero student, nothing else really. A menace from time to time." She wanted to hold onto the first part that he said. "A... A samurai? That's pretty dope. That also most mean you don't get a lot of action- I could see people not being into the whole solidarity thing."

She would watch how he was able to still move so nimbly, and honestly it was a bit impressive. The plums looked good, but it pulled her away from the point. "Naw, I said I would. I can raincheck you on it if you're good with your plums, but I am going to buy you dinner."

She would blink a bit about the sensory device, but instead looked at the plums. Looking down to them, she would tilt her head and grab one happily. As she bit into it, she would pucker her face awkwardly and slap her own leg. "Fucking hell dude! Warning!! What is that?" Her fingers would spread out and she would close her eyes, before the flavor settled a bit and she was able to enjoy it. "I don't care that much about the festival. I wanted to make sure you were okay over getting my ass handed to me by any more stuck up bitches." A pause, before she would scoot her chair closer to him. "Can I have another?"

Sorcery? Was he a wizard or something? The way that he described it didn't really make a lot of sense, but she wasn't going to worry too much about it. She'd just listen to him, blinking at how much information she was being given. She wasn't sure she needed this much information, but she would take it nonetheless. "N-No you didn't... I thought I did something bad to you." She was glad that it wasn't her quirk, but still.

She was a bit confused as to what his family did, but she would accept his name and shake his hand firmly. He didn't need to write... But wasn't he a student? "A blade... But you're a student right? You have classes?" The fact that he was all alone was a bit sad. At least Calli had Iphi, but otherwise she could get how isolating it could be.

At the mention of the food, she'd look back at the nurse and roll her eyes. "Sure." Looking back to Kiyomaru, she would realize that it would be hard for him to leave if he was going to be a goodie two shoes. "Then I guess I can go get something and bring it here?" Calliope would offer it as a suggestion. "Even though it wasn't my fault, it's kinda sad that no one else is coming to visit you here, so I'll get you some food. What do you want? I'll buy anything."

She would turn around and then look back at him like she had on her bike. "You know, and a few seconds later you smacked your face on the ground! I wanted to make sure that it wasn't my fault, my quirk makes people do that."

She'd turn back around, take a step forward, and offer her hand to him. "Calliope Pavlina, sorry you didn't win." Whether she took it or not, she would pull up a seat beside him and cross her legs. "Got anyone that's visited you? Partner? Friends? Family?" Her eyes would go over to his wrist. Clicking her tongue, she would shake her head. Ah damn, she felt a bit bad. After the bicycle race, she'd went back to try to help the person that'd she assumed ate shit because of her quirk. Before she could really say or do anything though, he was being carried off to the infirmary. In situations like that, the normal person probably would have just let him be. For her, she didn't want him thinking that he had just developed some random headache from A looking at her, or B looking at all. Her quirk wasn't obvious which was why it was so dangerous; most people wouldn't expect to get dizzy looking at someone for a split second, but then again most people didn't expect her to have literal spirals for eyes.

Panting a bit as she sprinted to the infirmary, she would slide the door open violently, looking around the infirmary for the boy that she'd only gotten a small glimpse of. Black hair, blue eyes, not half bad looking. She wanted to apologize and to explain why he may have fallen down, and provide him with that meal that she had already offered for the mishaps that she had put him through. Looking around at which stall he was in, she would dramatically pull back the curtain of his little room and stare at him through her sunglasses. "Hey, you good? Sorry about all that!" Though her voice was a bit hushed, it was almost like she was half yelling at him. "The bitch ended up winning I... I thought you were going to hit me too! I wasn't trying to make you lose or for her to win, I don't care that much."

"I'm not one either, not yet!" She would flash a big grin in his direction, but try to make sure she didn't look him in the eyes. "Some things are just not for me man! I can't just sit there and know about the history of heroes and shit... I don't really care that much!" Her aiming would get sloppy, but she wasn't really playing to win.

As Church won, she would pat his shoulder and grab up her own plushie once more. "Good work man, you can give that to whoever I guess, or keep it for yourself. I think mine is a good size to keep in my room as a cuddle buddy." She would hiccup a bit, the alcohol still hitting her pretty hard. "Embarrassing thing? Hm, well... I guess I'm pretty lonely. I don't make friends easily because of my quirk so a lot of nights I cry myself to sleep and hope that the choices I made in life will pay off." She'd say all this with a smile, as if she didn't want to make it a reality by adding her true emotions behind it. "It's hard moving to a new country and having expectations on you that seem so high... I just... I wish I could look at people and be normal, you know?" She would hold onto her plushie, pushing her face into it and closing her eyes for a moment as she walked. "Is that embarrassing enough?"

It was good to know that they were the same age. This meant to her that they would understand each other in a more personalized light due to their shared understanding of the world at their age. It was vast and open and perhaps a bit scary to be a part of. They were just starting to understand their lives.

Calli looked at her arm and felt her cheeks redden a bit. She was strong- Calli pulled her eyes away and instead cleared her throat.

As she started to wonder about the physique of her body. Calli got a bit sled conscious. "It's nothing special." She'd casually lift up her shirt and reveal her stomach; there was a pretty defined but wasn't super clear. She'd drop her hoodie before pulling the sleeve back and making a pose. There was a good amount of muscle there and it was obvious that she fought with her hands. Rolling her sleeve down, she'd place her hands in her hips, casually lifting up her pants legs too. "No peg leg, okay body."

Right as she stopped it, the person would come swerving between them. Calli, not as alert due to her showing off herself, would trip on her own foot when Box came closer and fall on her ass. With a thud, she'd look up to Nox before she felt a small laugh creeping of her. "Ah, yeah that sucks... At least you didn't fall!"

"I just got here. I'm not a workaholic like you. I'll get to it soon enough." She wasn't going to force herself to do a bunch of things just because Iphi wanted her to. "I'll do it when it's a good time. I'd like to try to get a feel for Japan, make some friends... You know, be normal?" If she just jumped into going for her provisional license, she'd end up like Iphi; single and work obsessed.

"You have a picture of us on your desk?" She'd cringe a bit, knowing that it was for sure going to come up a lot. "Well yeah, most people don't have spiral eyes, let alone ones with such weird colors." She would stand there with her, thinking about how her sister's adventures had been when she was in UAU. "Well I guess I could meet Rin. I know there will be other people, but I don't want them to be my friend for the wrong reasons. Just because you're friends with a lot of people... I don't know if my personality is as likable."

Calli would just sit in the car, before looking confused. "A robot? Of course you'd make a robot." It sounded like something up her alley, but she wouldn't comment any more on it before getting out of the car and looking at the facility. As she listed off things, there was only one thing that was on her mind. "Are you expecting me to come join you here when I graduate? Do you want me to intern here now?" It was a genuine question that she wanted the honest answer to. "And I guess the garden."

"That's what I thought! The sound of the water, hitting against the shores. The sound of birds just chirping as they are trying to find food! It's soothing, in a way, isn't it?" A bright smile would come over her face. Perhaps it was just that she felt comfortable with Nox, but it was nice to at least be able to enjoy something so simple with her.

At her correction of the word, she would think about it for a moment. "Regally gorgeous then." She would bow, as if she was using it to apologize. "I think that you could be whatever, but that's just me." She'd look at her for a bit longer, before turning around and leading her away and to the beach. Thankfully, there was something close enough that they didn't have to walk for long. Putting her hands behind her back, she'd try to walk beside Nox. Looking her over, she'd try to glance at her face when she felt like Nox wasn't looking. "How old are you, by the way? It's hard to tell." She'd pause, before saying her own age. "I'm twenty." It was small banter, but it was better than keeping it silent in between them. "You look mature enough, and very strong you know? With those weapons and stuff. So regal~."

"Good to know." It seemed that there way of thinking lined up a lot more than Calli originally would have expected it to. Seeing someone like Mox, it was hard to know what exactly to expect. "I won't tell anyone, it's our secret." She'd wink and also place a finger over her lips.

As much as it was fun to talk about stuff with Nox, she wanted to get to know her without the droning on of hero life in the backdrop. She'd get up and dust herself off, but almost fell over as she was called a cutie. Calli was used to her being the one complimenting people, not the other way around. Coughing and rubbing the back of her neck, she'd think about where she actually wanted to go.

"Maybe we can go to the beach? Have a cool sand castle making battle, race in the water and then I'll treat you to ramen after?" She'd place her hands on her hips, waiting to see if her suggestion was enough. To add onto it, Calli would try to think of a good retort for the name she was called. "That's if you want to tag along with me, gorgeous."

"I'm not expert, so I won't be touching anything." She trusted that he would do a good job with her gear, so she was glad to know that it wasn't something that was going to be tossed around. "Ah, I'm glad it's not a collaborative experience for you." Though she no doubt knew that other manufacturers were good, she wasn't really apt to trust someone with her creation if she didn't know that they were working on it.

Calli would watch him patiently, looking to see that he was working diligently on the aspects of her sunglasses. They were going to look good, Calli had no doubt, but it was a treat to be able to see how they were made. "Yeah, I wouldn't like that. I'm sure I'm going to get punched in the face a lot." Even with her fight with Junsuina, she'd gotten a few good punches to the face. "Mirrored? Um... Yeah I think so." She knew that it wasn't the ideal thing, but it was something that felt right for her. It would guarantee that people wouldn't try to look at her eyes and predict where she was aiming at. "I think that'll be the best bet for me right now."

"It's overrated, I don't want people in my business." She'd knew that it would eventually be her fate, but she didn't want to focus on it. Her being on a screen like the people she saw was the opposite of what she wanted out of being a hero.

As her thigh was slapped, Calli felt her cheeks flush a bit. Usually, she was the one that engaged in any physical contact first, so she was a bit baffled when it was Nox instead. "I'm sure you've done a lot too, right?" From the way that she talked, it would be very opposite if she suddenly didn't do anything crazy or rebellious.

She liked her? Ah, she needed to make sure not to take this out of context. She liked her as a friend! They'd only been talking for a few minutes, so Calli would smile as if she didn't almost misunderstand. Sometimes, it sucked not being straight. "I like you too, you get me." She'd stick her tongue out back, mimicking Nox's previous movement and pushing at Nox's leg. "It's hard to get people that really... Make me feel like they understand it." With a pause, she'd scooch closer to her, lean over and whisper. "Hey, should we leave and do something more fun?"

"I'm not sure... Not like that?" She'd look down at her. "That will get you killed." Calliope said it plainly, but if some cute villain did the same thing to her, she'd be dead. "You gotta be able to control how you feel a bit better... Emotions have so much power over you." She only hoped that she was okay.

As she started to explain it, Calliope would sit down closeish to her. "Yeah, that's the excitement of a kiss, or other things too. When you're doing all those things with people that you like." She would pull her legs to her chest and just stare in her direction. "That's why people do it. You'll get a tingling feeling in your stomach too, when you are attracted to someone and they grab hold of you- it's an addicting feeling!" Though, she herself hadn't had that too much. "When you kiss your man or whatever, I'm sure it'll be the same. If you freak out like that though, he may drop your ass."

She'd step back a bit, rubbing her hands on her clothes as if she'd gotten infected by Jun. She felt a bit sorry for her- if she couldn't even be romantically seduced like that, her love life was going to be so horrible.

"Yeah, it's all about being popular. If you're popular, you don't have to worry about things, or so they think. I think really, when you're popular, you have to not be yourself anymore. You have to live up to other people's expectations of you, which can be not even close to who you actually are. They want you to be something that you're not." She'd sigh at the thought of it all. "It just sounds so tiring."

She would agree with her sentiment. "It's a bit silly to me. You can't really be a top hero, not to me. Is that dismissing the rest of the heroes to say that they are lesser, or that they shouldn't try because they aren't on top? It's sad." As Nox's attention focused on her, she felt a bit more self conscious. This woman was very pretty, and they could actually have a good conversation. People like that had been rare so far for her time in Japan.

Wanting to do the same, she would turn and pull her legs up, crossing them in front of her. Calli would raise an eyebrow at her question. "I mean yeah. I've broken shit and drank before I could, partied. Skipped class. Done drugs. I think that everyone needs to live a little, but people are too afraid about what others will think about it." It was a weird sentiment, but one that felt true for Calli. "I'm not gonna sit around and do what I'm told. I know what I want and most of the time it's a lot of things."
