"Jun is cute." Calli would smile, only flashing her eyes in her direction for a moment as to not use her quirk on her. "I'm glad that you're the one I met out of anyone that could have stopped by." It would have been much more awkward if it was someone that she didn't want to talk to.

Oh, so she was a good girl. "Ah I meant like smoking, partying, doing drugs, sleeping with people. You know, college stuff. Stuff that makes you feel alive and that you have experienced things. Never snuck out and slept at someone's house?" She'd tease her a little bit, realizing that it may all seem plain. "What'll happen if you just do all the things you have to do and become a boring adult?" Calliope would nudge her with her own shoulder. "Like, you've kissed a girl, right? Or, anyone?" She'd say it as if it was the most normal thing in the world. "Fighting monsters is cool and shit but there is a rush when you kiss someone for the first time and you get all excited. "It's good that you have friends then. I assume that being a hero can get pretty lonely without friends." If she was able to make friends herself, maybe it would make her feel better about being a hero. The idea of having no one to rely on really did scare her. "Well, hopefully they treat you well. There's a lot that friends can do to boost morale and make you care a lot more about what your goals are in life, I think."

Her sister could be a hard ass, but she knew it was because she was loving and wanted the best for people. At least, that's what she assumed. "Oh, you work under her?" It didn't even click that she had said her sister's agency. "Well, good luck to you I guess. She has a way with people." That was sarcasm to its core, but that was to be expected.

"Calliope Pavlina." She said curtly, not really liking or hating her name. "Calli is fine, I'm not one for honorifics and shit." Whether she wanted to or not, she would probably run into Jun because of her sister, so it was important that they remained on good terms. "Sorry for not saying it sooner." With her hands behind her back, she would walk quietly beside her for a bit. "How do you get up to trouble?"

Calliope always found herself in weird locations and positions. To her, the world was somewhere to explore, and a good way to explore things was to see them for yourself. Because of that, she often went to random locations that others wouldn't always think to go. Behind the school, on the roof, in a place under construction... Today however, she was in a tree on the campus grounds. It wasn't a super high tree, but high enough that her presence was mostly ignored. People would actively have to look up if they wanted to notice her, and most people didn't do that.

In the tree, she was reading a book and eating some seaweed flavored chips. The book was Greek, depicting a retelling of some of the stories of the Greek Gods. Due to the fact that she was now mostly surrounded by Japanese, she liked to try to keep her Greek up through the usage of books and other media like that. Hopefully, she wouldn't be disturbing anyone, but she would be more than welcome to start a disturbance for someone else if needed. The one plus about going to UAU is that there were so many interesting people to fuck with.

Looking at the painting, she'd nod at how good it was. "Shit man, she's hot. I can see how much you love her in your art." It was clear that it was something that he could visualize well, because her details were well thought out. "I'm sure if you give her this, that she'd love it, you have a good talent." Looking at it a bit closer, she would try not make sure that her hair didn't get in his face.

"Nice to meet you. I don't think I've heard of you, though I did just transfer here." She'd extend a hand, before moving to sit beside him. "Calliope Pavlina, at your service." "It's stupid that you need a license to use something that you were given. That's like asking someone to get a license for talking or breathing. It's important for everyone to learn how to use their quirk, but that becomes hard when you don't give anyone but heroes and a select few civilians the means to do so." That system was stupid to her. For someone like Calliope that had no true control on her quirk, that meant that she could get in a lot of trouble just for looking at someone.

Calli didn't think that it was right for young adults to be able to go out as pro heroes. She doubted she knew what she wanted to do when she was done her schooling, but she would most likely feel obligated to do. Looking at her, it seemed that perhaps she was someone that her sister would freak out with her talking to. Maybe she was a villain, or someone that was "bad" but she really didn't care. In a public place like this, she doubted she would try anything. Then again, it wasn't good to just assume that someone that had been labelled as a villain was bad.

Looking around her, she knew that it wasn't an easy topic to answer. "I guess I like to know what people are up to, what people are thinking is popular. What people would bring up in a conversation. Stuff like this would probably be something that comes up in conversation. I guess, I like to keep in the loop. It allows me to talk shit if I have to." She'd smile a bit at her own comment.

"I guess not, but that's also stupid. You'd think you'd want us living a long time because some of us get shit done, ya know?" Her dialect could sound informal and messy at times. "But we are replaceable, that's why we do it, right? We all try to do things to become relevant but it's hard to do that."

Taking a cigarette, Calliope stared at it and smiled softly to her. "Thanks. And yeah, I think half of them don't really want to be here, if you ask me." It felt too obvious that some of them were teachers because they weren't good enough pro heroes. For her reason, Calliope could understand that. "I can understand it. I won't say I saw you, so don't worry." She'd light the cigarette with Yoko's light and take a big puff. It wasn't her first time, so she didn't cough or make a big deal about it.

"It's always something. Then you gotta think about making friends and getting a partner and getting a job." Calliope already felt that pressure and she'd only been here for a little bit. "Then ya got the expectations of your family too, and friends." It was a cycle that was hard to be able to get out of. It seemed that it didn't go away no matter what you did and the responsibilities and expectations only got worse and worse.

"I do yeah. I haven't been into Tokyo too much. I haven't been in Japan for too long so I'm kind of just trying to take little steps and figure out what is best for me." Calli had a lot of exploration to do and it wasn't always clear what was going to work and what wasn't. Looking into Yoko's eyes, she tried not to stare too hard, but she knew that her quirk had probably went off a little bit.

"Yeah, sorry if I looked at you. Makes people dizzy and shit. It's my quirk." She would look down to her cigarette. "I try to avoid people's gaze so that it doesn't fuck with them. Sometimes it's hard to do that though, because it makes me look like I don't care."

Calliope wanted to make the most of the time that she had at UAU. As much as it would be easy to just get drunk and do whatever she'd like, it was important to use the facilities and amenities while she could. If she was going to be a hero, she'd need to train her body since her quirk wasn't going to do much in a fight if she wasn't good at fighting.

Today however, Calliope had just finished up a good workout session. She'd punch the training dummies and work up a good sweat before realizing that it was probably best to stop for the rest of the day. Wiping off her brow with her own towel, she'd be walking out of the training area and see a quiet looking kid drawing on his own. With a smirk on her lips, Calliope would go behind him and lean over his shoulder to look at his art. "Whatcha doing?"

Calliope was sure her sister was right. The world had changed in ways that even she would never be able to fully understand. That was just how life was, she supposed. Calliope would only nod at the sentiment, as they knew that there was nothing important to add to her sister's comment. It was much easier for someone like Iphi to be able to notice those things, after all.

"Do whatever, you're their favorite." She'd snap back, looking instead out the window. It wasn't fair that she could talk all nicely to their parents and never have an issue, but that Calli's life was nitpicked. Perhaps it was why she was so rebellious, or maybe that's just who she was. "They'll not give you shit for every little thing you do."

Getting out of the car with Iphi's comment, it made her groan a bit. "So I need to wait at least two more years to get someone?" Was getting someone to date easier as a pro-hero? She felt like she was mature enough, and that she had good qualities, but it was never enough for anyone. Moving around to the back of the car, she'd look up to the condo and smile a bit; it was pretty, and it didn't look like it was cramped. "Good shit, thanks for that. I'm glad I don't have to worry about having to hear you fuckin', I mean, at least not all the time." It was a crude comment, but it wouldn't be something she wasn't used to with her parents. "If you do have anyone, I gotta meet 'em first, because I don't want to have to deal with someone I don't like." Calli was picky about her future family, and she hoped that Iphi was just the same.

Moving over to her bag, she'd lift it up and start heading towards the building. "Are we just chilling today or are you taking me somewhere?"

Calli felt flat on her ass. There thankfully wasn't any breaking sounds, so she just fell and hurt her ass. "Fuck!" She'd shout, using her leg to push the piece of seaweed off. With a huff of panic, she'd look over to the unfamiliar lady at her comment. "Yeah just, seaweed." It was a plain answer, but the only one that she could come up with. "Fucking got on my leg and I don't fucking like that shit." Shivering at the utter thought of it being on her, she'd look over to the girl a bit closer.

"Thanks for the concern. I'm glad someone wanted to come here and check when someone is screaming." Calliope would sigh, dusting herself off and trying to get every last bit of sand. She would then slowly stand up and look at Jun with a confused look. "You look kind of familiar, you a student or something?" She looked like a preppy ass type, but she was at least pretty. Cracking her knuckles as she stood, Calli would motion with her head to what she had bought. "Got anything good?"
