''Who says I can't use it on others?'' She tilted her head with confusion written all over her face before pointing at Retsu. ''How many hands you think she's lost?'' Gripping the bars of the cage with her hands she grinned directly at Antoine. ''If you let me kill you right now I could bring you back.'' She shrugged casually before turning back to try the yo-yos on this no name she was fighting. ''Think about it!'' She finally managed to activate the yo-yos to very little fanfare, but she herself was very impressed, despite the fact that the panels barely hurt her opponent.

Just as she was expecting to get hit with another jab, Antoine came to the rescue. He didn't really need to, but since she had gotten to test her gear she had already had her fun. Besides, she didn't want to miss out on the impromptu dinner either. In one final act of disrespect she flipped off the guy that had been punching her. ''Get good loser! Maybe one day you'll be able to kill someone.'' Tossing the Yo-yos back with the other gear she looked up at Antoine. ''Why? There's nothing on your face. You can also use your phone's camera as a mirror.'' She was always willing to share her wisdom.

Then she looked at Retsu, shrugging as she climbed into her seat. ''They didn't seem like anything special, but I liked the way they fly out and come back.'' She took another sip from her drink. ''I still prefer stabbing or shooting. They should have put a laser knife of display, or a gun that shoots blenders.'' When was the food going to arrive?

''That's you!! Bestie!'' She smiled, pointing at Momo. To her everyone was a bestie, but that didn't make the label any less special. Momo was her own brand of bestie, the kind of bestie only she could be and most importantly, the bestie who saved her from confronting the consequences of her own actions! ''A cast?'' She leaned in closer to inspect the thing like she was trying to decipher ancient cave paintings. Then, at her own slow pace she finally put two and two together. ''Something happened to your arm bestie?'' Since she said bonking someone with it might hurt that was the only conclusion she could draw. Oh- right she was the damsel in distress here.

''I'm okay! That was a really close one, but you saved me bestie! I'm Rui by the way!'' She looked at the cast again and then an idea began to form in her head. ''You know if you hurt anywhere I can take the pain away.'' She pointed at the cast. ''Injuries, broken bones, headaches there's nothing I can't cure with a quick use of my quirk. I can even reattach your hand if it falls off!'' If Momo saw her quirk she would probably be super impressed and even think she's awesome, thus making her more likely to like Rui as a bestie. Maybe if she was lucky, they could even fight after and she could get to see just how strong her bestie really was. ''I'll do it for free too! You get the bestie discount, and you did save me!'' She smiled expectantly, seeking validation in Momo's eyes.

Aimoto Momo

With the hero duo reunited they were sure to turn this fight in their favor, doubly so as Retsu was getting hit with a torrent of slow motion water. An excruciatingly painful attack. ''Shower drain, you and me!'' Rui shouted, pouncing at the other hero, leaving Retsu to deal with Whytide. ''Those bombs are getting on my nerves.'' With a torrent of water shooting upwards, she managed to change the course of the grenade, making it detonate overhead instead of directly on her. Still, it was a distraction that bought Retsu the time she needed.

Meanwhile, Rui was sizing up her new opponent. No need to hear what her quirk did or anything, Retsu believed in her and she was ready to go. Rui might be a simpleton, but after a bit of guidance and training with Sho she had figured that Retsu handing her the grenade was a sign, a hint that she needed to follow-up on. With Null pursuing Retsu, reactivating the field it was all too easy for Rui to get in the way and consequently, also get caught in the slowing field. Confused, Rui was wondering if she was slowing down, or just getting tired. Either way her her legs and arms weren't moving at the speed she wanted them to. That probably meant Retsu couldn't throw grenades at Null, explaining why she left her for Rui to deal with.

She was probably unsuspecting. Short villain, armed with nothing but a knife, firmly charging through and caught in the slowing field. Heck, Null probably had more martial arts experience than Rui too, and could most certainly outpace her even with her slowing field turned off. All these factors might lead to what would ultimately become as Retsu put it, a nasty surprise. Making her way through the slowing field, Rui's bandage skin around her ribs started to unravel, revealing the hand grenade Retsu had tossed her earlier, the pin dangling off her ribs precariously. Now that she had managed to get this close to Null, it would be a shame if she didn't pull it, right? With a grin that told the hero that Rui did not fear death, she pulled the pin and set off an explosion.

It was deafening, bright and most of all so sudden that Whytide couldn't help but get further distracted. What had just happened? Was it the grenade Retsu had given Rui earlier? Was her partner okay? In those split seconds a million questions raced through her mind, leaving her defenseless against Retsu's next move.

Bakiri Retsu

''That's right! Not that going all out is going to make a difference for you, bestie.'' She grinned mischievously, believing full well that she could wear Ylva down with attrition and simply wait until she was too tired to use her quirk anymore. Assuming no cops or other heroes showed up before then of course.

Just when she thought things might start going her way she felt a cold freeze around her face and pretty soon she couldn't breathe. Stopping her advance, she clawed at the fishbowl made of ice, trying desperately to catch her breath, even stabbing it with her regular knife which wasn't nearly sharp enough to cut through it. She wasn't exactly in danger of dying by choking to death, but the experience of choking and then immediately healing it back, only to choke some more while your body fights for air wasn't a pleasant one. Panicking, she fell to the ground, flailing and rolling around as she tried to figure out a way to be rid of this bowl. Then an idea struck.

Getting back up, she charged headfirst into the nearest wall, then again, then kept smashing her head into the wall until the fishbowl began to crack and fall off, letting her breathe again. It was simultaneously painful and relieving as she let out a hacking cough, looking back at Ylva like she had just experienced the worst form of betrayal. ''You're gonna... Gonna need to do better to kill me, bestie.'' She mustered a confident smirk, standing back up, ready to charge again when she heard the sound of police sirens approaching. How long did she have? A couple of minutes? ''You didn't tell me your name, so now your name is Stupidface!'' One more charge at the student couldn't hurt. At least not her, but this time she was definitely going to cut or stab Ylva!

Ylva Riis

This girl was going to regret being so rude to her. A few seconds from now she was going to be on the ground, apologizing to Rui and giving her all her money and her phone and other valuables too! She was going to rue the day she made someone as scary and super cool and awesome as her mad. It didn't even matter what her quirk was. Blades? No problem. Cannons, guns? Overrated, she never understood why people are scared of those. Her own quirk made her invincible, there was nothing she couldn't win against, no single quirk that could stand up to her...

Like a looney tunes character she ran face first into the ice wall Ylva had created. What kind of cheating power was this?! Rui had wanted to run over and stab this girl and what, now she just got to put random ice in the way? No fair! Her tantrum would only convey as much as she let out a low growl. ''I'm authorized to kill you dead!'' She shouted, cutting away at the ice wall with her knife to no avail. ''You make ice walls? Your quirk is STUPID like your FACE!'' She hissed, entering into another full sprint as she tried to run around the wall to reach Ylva, this time she was going to suffer the Mummy's wrath.

Ylva Riis

Even though this street had turned into absolute chaos when this fight broke out, Rui still managed to catch a glimpse of Retsu's fast reflexes dodging that initial attack against her. It looked a lot more impressive through her eyes, like her bestie was somehow several parallel universes ahead of Whytide and simply saw the attack coming before it was even made. When Retsu then mocked the hero and claimed she had already taken out the hero, Rui cackled alongside her, believing her wholeheartedly. ''Heroes are losers!''

Whytide didn't look amused at Retsu's taunt and especially not at the fact that she dodged her water bomb. She tried to dodge the grenade coming at her, but couldn't avoid some of the shrapnel flying into her arm. Bakuretsu as far as anyone knew was absolutely quirkless, but it didn't make her any less scary as a villain. Especially when paired with that small one, Mummy. Whytide was quickly realizing that this fight two on one wasn't a winnable scenario for her. Was her partner really dead? She turned on her radio and waited for a signal...

''Ooh fun!'' Rui said gleefully, catching the grenade and unraveling part of her stomach to stash it inside, before sealing it back up. ''Now, I'll stab!-'' Before she could finish her sentence Whytide slammed her with another torrent of water. Their training with Sho had helped Rui improve a lot, but she was still working on her dodging skills. With a cold rage, Whytide turned to face Bakuretsu and fired another three torrents of water, hellbent on trying to hurt the villain so bad that she couldn't fight anymore.
